APR is final and was decided by the community. I do get your point that it's low, but in the end it doesn't really make a difference. You can stake at 1000 % apr and have the coin inflate by 1000 % yearly or stake at 1.337 % apr and only have that as inflation. Value-wise, it doesn't matter. Very few projects can survive in the crypto market for long period of time. And 4 years is already like a lifetime of most coins. Nice on new listings, thanks for da work done to get them on them :-* Getting some big named game streamers ( even the no so big ) to use and support elite would be great aswell.. Alot more eyes on elite it would get and alot more movement of coins, due to they usually getting tiped min $2 which is afew 1337 easier to give tips if streamers use 1337 due to cheap fees and such rather than bitcoin ( they get interest on the 1337 were btc wont ), we need to push doge out of the way as it has nothing to do with gaming or streamer tiping which i think elite would do well on that area. I'm now staking one of my favourite coins again as I have been a big supporter of Elite for many years now. Its nice to see the price staying stable which I think wouldn't be the case if the APR wasn't lowered so it has been a big success lowering the APR. Many other similar coins that were launched around the same time with a high APR are almost dead or the price is so low its not worth it so the team made the right choice lowering the APR. With 1.337 % APR an investor will get his coins back in like 74+ years, assuming the price will stay the same. The APR doesn't cover at least the 3.4% world inflation, that's why many coins with 1-3 APR fail in the space. I agree, now days projects need a use case for their coins or else they are basically worthless even with PoS and masternodes. We need a use case for the coin so that the coin is used and the PoS side is a bonus. In the future I can see projects with no use cases dying as people will look for projects that have a use case. On the shop, you can buy in all 5 rounds, so for me, that means 5 chests which gives me 5 chances to get a snake per each shop. And you can work with all 5 rounds on the Fairy as well. Hello, Why would Elite, the great coin it is, switch to be an erc20 token?? The cost of gas is a cost-prohibitive feature of the erc20 token lately. The amount of effort to swap over to a new format would be exceptionally trying to reach all users. Users like myself would revolt at the very idea of the devs doing this!! Hello, Why would Elite, the great coin it is, switch to be an erc20 token?? The cost of gas is a cost-prohibitive feature of the erc20 token lately. The amount of effort to swap over to a new format would be exceptionally trying to reach all users. Users like myself would revolt at the very idea of the devs doing this!! And please explain to me why the users need to have an erc20 token to make their own game as opposed to the coin it is. Just because there is a trend to do something, doesn't mean it is right for everyone. It is like the old saying, if everyone jumps off of the bridge are you going to follow?? A lot of coins will eventually die with their own chains and if there is no demand for the coin how can it survive? I have been with this project from the start and still I don't see much interest in it, just look at this thread, its basically silent in here for the past year with no activity apart from a few posting every now and then. Sometimes there needs to be change even if its following a trend that will one day be the norm. My post was just a suggestion to gain more exposure but I see everyone is against this which is fine by me as I have been supporting Elite from the start and still continue to stake so I'm happy either way. Crypto and gaming have just barely got going and I do see a future with both of them coming together and I do hope that Elite can be part of this. Best place to trade would be unnamed exchange then v2.altmarkets in my eyes.. i dont think theres a need to inc pos % as it pos fine and fair to all that hold, unlike alot of so called pos coin that only the top weights get the rewards and the lil guys get nothing and usually all staked in a pos pool to make sure its just a select few that get the rewards.Inc pos % would just drop the value even more. i think use factors esp in the gaming areas and front line promo is the key and as much as i hate to say it but it seems to be the crypto world we live in now that alil tictoc rage feast of 1337 would help get word out about it..HYPER HYPER ;D then once the user base grow so will the use factors and people using them. If dev team thinks discord is there main area of promo they should really make up 100s of 1337 gifs and stuff like that, for me im old skool i think promo should be done were the coin is traded for max effect like chat/trollbox on exchanges.& for 1337 in large gaming areas with large numbers of gamers that will/can use 1337 as a tip method or use. a coin this old the dev and code speaks for itself in its age and life span, its pretty much doge but pos and waiting for the right light/elon :P to shine on it. I see you have a legendary account so i assume you have been around awhile. Elites been around awhile also and is about to celebrate a birthday. 8 years and 4.2 million blocks since genesis. In that time many 1000s of coins have come and gone. Elite is not one of them, Our discord and support are very active. I personally have 41 connections on my wallet atm. That being said you are absolutely correct in observing the project as quite (for the moment) The last few years have been rough lots of exits, delisting, scams ect . im literally only here on bitcoin talk just to respond to you for the first time in maybe two years because someone linked up your post in the discord . I personally as well as many other devs have stepped away from any kind of marketing or anything front end simply because of all the NFT, Buy now or cry later, click here to claim your five BTC that's been going on .But we have all been active on the back end . its definitely time for myself and a few others to come out of our rabbit holes of code and start talking to people again. all that being said here's the skinny on 1337 . Elite has been in a pretty heavy update round for a few months , its old it needs a lot of love. But ive been hugging on it hard. we haven't been seeking any listing because i don't want to have to beg for an update after the listing is granted. most of he goals i set for this release have been reached , atm and i do mean its going on right now im scrubbing a copy of the chain for a clean snapshot. its 127 hrs in and about 94% done the few last punch list items i have cant be touched till its competed i dare not interrupt it. there will always be more to do but its been a really long time since we have pushed a release and it needs it bad.
