You reffer that ETN team scam people? Can you tell more about what kind of scam they do? Because people should know if is good to invest on ETN or no. You reffer to fork and ICO? And you think never ETN coins have a chance to grow?

This is very bad they did not live to the hype, they've created when they are still holding their ICO, there are a lot of articles and videos about ETH reaching $5 last year, but unfortunately so many losses here glad that I sold all my ETN coins before people start dumping it, now the price is struggling, but we'll see how this coin perform this year, if it is not performing it could be game over this coin.

I used to believe in ETN, the devs were active, but I remember some time ago they had a big problem and I sold every coin I had at a good price and never looked again to see what happened

Fork coins always carry this risk. Therefore, it is worth to be careful when investing.

God, how they are fed up. Around some crooks. What prevents them with money to finish the job. In general, we can say the sad news. Quality projects are less.

Was holding some ETN last week, after the release of their phone, I dump some quantity of my ETN to cook my favorite meal and gave my wife a nice treat. ETN has performed below exceptions and even rekted some friends, I was lucky to sell off after the inial ATH, many projects are coming to the market, except ETN team prove their worth, they may just end up been a pump and dump.

Unfortunately, they did not meet those expectations that investors did not put on me, I also invested in this project and was disappointed in the results they provided and it’s very sad that the market has fewer good projects and I think that’s why there are few investors in the market.

I think ETN has tried but hasn't met the required standards or expectation. I knew a friend who was holding this ETN two weeks but after the release of this, he has dumped it.

when they did their crowdfunding i am into it..i am lucky i sold my etn when the price was high.. i didn't wait for a long time to sold it profit is enough

Two months is still a long time for them to deal with the expiration of their company registration. Let's see how the community reacts to this. It appears that on of their community manager is still active in defending the project.

Can you give detail? I am planning to invest in this project. You need to have personal evidence or judgment so people can consult.

Bet on projects like this that can actually bring about a miracle that makes you rich like XVG. However, not every decision leads to success

The OP already gave you a hint. There was no point in raising funds on something that anyone can do for free.

Well, you are so lucky. Not many people experience the same thing as you. I often read many people lose money while investing in ETN. There is also a thread which talks about ETN is a scam. One of it is this article: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2167305.1160

I can't forget the quarter 4 of 2017 during the Electroneum sales, the hype etc. And they eventually raised 40million with nothing to still show for it and that got me wondering. Although I will love to know in details what the sanctionwas for and some briefing to that

Electroneum was one of the few projects that I supported in 2017 when ICOs were having their best days and I continually backed them by not selling my tokens until 2 months ago when I realized that there must be something wrong with the project and I sensed that the people behind it are not anymore up to the expectations supporters placed on them. And now this news. Good thing am not anymore holding any ETN tokens. Still, am hoping that this is just a false accusation and that the leadership of ETN will soon come forward to clear things out.

I am really worried about this project as how till date it has not made any significant move, no doubt it was believed to be a scam. It had so much hype and quickly ended ICO sales whose price pumped more than ten times, What I suspect is happening right now is that the developers are dumping theirs gradually which is further killing the price. Good riddance I moved out earlier

People like you will always find it hard to detect good projects to invest in ,what you've proven is zero and etn is one of the altcoins out there that has real something to offer,electroneum is a working product and if you aren't an investor you know nothing about crypto

I exited this coin when I discovered what they were doing and still up to. Etn is one of the few coin that have not made any major movement since the bear market and even with btc reversal. I had dumped to coin earlier when I saw the game between to total supply and circulating supply and how developers intend to dump or release more.

Please, I don't want to hear anything scam when it comes to ETN because it will really break my heart. I bought that coin at ATH and today what I see is not anywhere near my capital.. It's really painful.

ETN used to be loved by many who plunged into the world of Cryptocurrency, due to the success of the ICO and significant price increases. but if it is seen now that the ETN has started to dim, I'm not sure ETN can last long or the price increases because of its popularity losing to other coins and being exposed to rumors SCAM.

ETN is a Mining-based development project, and everyone can earn money through an application they release on Smartphone. I don't think this is a scam. Maybe they're having trouble with some bad things. We need to wait until the official announcement from the team.

From the first post in this thread, I still do not understand what the problem is. Yes, there is such a project. Yes, they collected a good amount on the ICO. So what? What did the author want to say? Why write the buzz word "scam"?

After all the promises made and hypes , I cant believe this is how it would turn out to be. This is a major issues with crypto projects. Too many failed promises while investors are left to suffer at the end. So sad . Good I sold early and moved on. Lots of friend lost huge money on this.

I didnt know that ETN is forked coin from monero? I thought they have their own platform when they launch few years ago. How come a 40$million funds diluted easily? At first, I thought etn will be a good long term coin cause the objective of their mobile mining is pretty unique which now turns into a disaster scam exit? Hope someone could explain the incident and the photo is not just a fud to etn.

I haven't heard of that coin being a scam. Be it as it may, nothing is surprising now. I believe the developers and team has to sit up and work more on the project.

I was going through a website some days back and I saw ETN listed as one of the dead coins. Although its been a while I heard about any development from the project. I decided to join their telegram group and I can see that the team is still very much active. The rationale behind calling ETN a dead project maybe as a result of its price that is not encouraging now.

Wow, this is a very bad news for thousands of people who already owns the coin, what is now going to happen to the coins we have in our possession now that the company is being dissolved, is it not best to sell it off to another investor that might be interested in running it than throwing all of it and the users to the ground for a reason best known to the team of the project.

Why you call Electroneum as a scam? Everything is working: app, mining, trading, updates. So where is the problem?
If we consider the usecase of all altcoins, then all altcoins would be scams.

Etn is not a scam . Unfortunately they do not have a product and services that works. They should be able to come up with paternship or an update.

I am surprised when I glanced that it was ETH. At first, I thought it was ETH. But when I saw it was ETN, it feels good to me. I don't invested in ETN, so I am not fear nor frightened even it is a scam. However, I am just worrying for my co-traders like the OP because if it is a scam then their money is just wasted. Maybe, ETN is just not popular and it is the reason why it is so low.

They already did this and they are already in partner to a lot of companies but still, the price is not attractive to investors, I guess they lack marketing,  this is the most hype coin last year and people thought it's going to reach $5 it did not even reach 20 cents it's really struggling in it's price soon it will struggle in it's existence.

Not every project team will be sincere enough to accomplish what they promise to achieve.
I think the aim of most of them, first would be to get the fund they so much desire. So many of them have been able to reach hardcap, just like the case with ETN, yet after some time, there is nothing to show for it.
As a matter of fact, the hype built around it, has mislead so many people, particularly those who are holding huge amount of it and those who are still investing in it.

Wow sorry for the investors whom invested in this project eithers its a scam or non working product.
I hope there will be less scam projects in the upcoming months of 2019.

There's always a risk to those fork coins that's why you really need to be careful when it comes to investing your money. I advise just invest what you can afford to lose.

when you talk about investment, indeed all of them have risks but this is discussed by the OP is ETN which has begun to look scam, I think this ETN can be said as a place of hyip and where the occurrence of price manipulation can occur anytime no one knows, so be careful careful when you want to buy ETN.

So thus this means its the end for electroneum coin? I guess not ,they have good team and they have working product so its only a matter of time ,the project will find its feet back

It is not exactly a scam but I'll call this as a shitcoin. The people had their choices to invest in their ICO. Nobody forced them. The team didn't work hard enough to implement something useful for the investors instead they spent a fortune on marketing and shit.
Anyway, they launched their own mobile phone and their coin is also accepted on opencart.com

I did had a decent bag of etn and i kept holding it even when it hit 20 cents just because there was a lot of hype and positivity about this project but when the wait became long and long i soold my etn bag for 2 cents which was one of my better decisions i guess.
