Please, I don't want to hear anything scam when it comes to ETN because it will really break my heart. I bought that coin at ATH and today what I see is not anywhere near my capital.. It's really painful.

ETN used to be loved by many who plunged into the world of Cryptocurrency, due to the success of the ICO and significant price increases. but if it is seen now that the ETN has started to dim, I'm not sure ETN can last long or the price increases because of its popularity losing to other coins and being exposed to rumors SCAM.

ETN is a Mining-based development project, and everyone can earn money through an application they release on Smartphone. I don't think this is a scam. Maybe they're having trouble with some bad things. We need to wait until the official announcement from the team.

From the first post in this thread, I still do not understand what the problem is. Yes, there is such a project. Yes, they collected a good amount on the ICO. So what? What did the author want to say? Why write the buzz word "scam"?

After all the promises made and hypes , I cant believe this is how it would turn out to be. This is a major issues with crypto projects. Too many failed promises while investors are left to suffer at the end. So sad . Good I sold early and moved on. Lots of friend lost huge money on this.

Fork coins always carry this risk. Therefore, it is worth to be careful when investing.
I didnt know that ETN is forked coin from monero? I thought they have their own platform when they launch few years ago. How come a 40$million funds diluted easily? At first, I thought etn will be a good long term coin cause the objective of their mobile mining is pretty unique which now turns into a disaster scam exit? Hope someone could explain the incident and the photo is not just a fud to etn. |

I haven't heard of that coin being a scam. Be it as it may, nothing is surprising now. I believe the developers and team has to sit up and work more on the project.

I was going through a website some days back and I saw ETN listed as one of the dead coins. Although its been a while I heard about any development from the project. I decided to join their telegram group and I can see that the team is still very much active. The rationale behind calling ETN a dead project maybe as a result of its price that is not encouraging now.

Wow, this is a very bad news for thousands of people who already owns the coin, what is now going to happen to the coins we have in our possession now that the company is being dissolved, is it not best to sell it off to another investor that might be interested in running it than throwing all of it and the users to the ground for a reason best known to the team of the project. |

Why you call Electroneum as a scam? Everything is working: app, mining, trading, updates. So where is the problem?
If we consider the usecase of all altcoins, then all altcoins would be scams.

I am surprised when I glanced that it was ETH. At first, I thought it was ETH. But when I saw it was ETN, it feels good to me. I don't invested in ETN, so I am not fear nor frightened even it is a scam. However, I am just worrying for my co-traders like the OP because if it is a scam then their money is just wasted. Maybe, ETN is just not popular and it is the reason why it is so low.

They already did this and they are already in partner to a lot of companies but still, the price is not attractive to investors, I guess they lack marketing, this is the most hype coin last year and people thought it's going to reach $5 it did not even reach 20 cents it's really struggling in it's price soon it will struggle in it's existence. |

People like you will always find it hard to detect good projects to invest in ,what you've proven is zero and etn is one of the altcoins out there that has real something to offer,electroneum is a working product and if you aren't an investor you know nothing about crypto

Not every project team will be sincere enough to accomplish what they promise to achieve.
I think the aim of most of them, first would be to get the fund they so much desire. So many of them have been able to reach hardcap, just like the case with ETN, yet after some time, there is nothing to show for it.
As a matter of fact, the hype built around it, has mislead so many people, particularly those who are holding huge amount of it and those who are still investing in it.

when you talk about investment, indeed all of them have risks but this is discussed by the OP is ETN which has begun to look scam, I think this ETN can be said as a place of hyip and where the occurrence of price manipulation can occur anytime no one knows, so be careful careful when you want to buy ETN. |

It is not exactly a scam but I'll call this as a shitcoin. The people had their choices to invest in their ICO. Nobody forced them. The team didn't work hard enough to implement something useful for the investors instead they spent a fortune on marketing and shit.
Anyway, they launched their own mobile phone and their coin is also accepted on opencart.com
