Will you choose to invest in bitcoin now that its at 8k or still continue investing in altcoin since many big altcoins have already lose up to 30% value again, well i decide to invest in bitcoin if further value loss takes place and i keep buying bnb token and ETH too, good idea or bad idea??

that's a good idea, your decision is very right. continue like that, you are correct in your choice. at a time like this, investing in bitcoin is the best choice. although altcoin is currently down to 30-35%, but buying altcoin is not recommended. because prices could fall further. if later things have started to improve, then buy potential altcoin like BNB/ETH.

Like its been told in several posts on here, bitcoin can't do without altcoins so choosing bitcoin as your first choice is a good move and also trying not to leave altcoins behind is good too since your aim is towards popular altcoins like ETH and bnb token

I’d rather buy many coins than to put my money on one coin only. I will buy bitcoin and other altcoins because I know their worth  and I know i have to buy them so i can earn profit. The price is down, buyers have to celebrate because they can buy more since the price is still cheap and yeah bitcoin is cheap compare last month.

I will continue to invest in bitcoin, but I also invest in some altcoin which I believe it could increase later. Like ethereum, I still invest in that coin, especially if the price is down like today. But I don't hold it for a long time because it is hard to see the ethereum will rise in a short time. So after I can get some ethereum, I will wait for some time, and if the price can increase, I will sell it and do it again and again.

And for bitcoin, besides holding for some bitcoin, I will sell it if the price can increase at least $500. By selling some bitcoin, I can calculate how big my profit and if necessary, I will hold for more to expect for making a bigger profit. Good idea in my opinion, when the market is dropping two opportunities are coming, one buy more top coins in the market like Bitcoin Eth and Ripple, another one is dumping all those useless coins and trade this to the top coins in the market, this drop should be expected I always posted there will be a lot of this along the way and this is something beyond our control.

"Crumbling" is kind of inappropriate term for the market status right now. All I see is a sudden panic sell from those investors. It's a good move that you do to invest in Bitcoin right now because in my opinion, this is just temporary. Once the people stops panic selling, Bitcoin would see that $10,000 price again. Only invest if you have the money to, do not sell your coin to buy other coin unless you are going for bicoin, altcoins are in big bad shape and God knows when everything will change for altcoins, for short term profit stay with bitcoin and for long term stay with high well known altcoins

I agree with your thread title and thats what i'm doing now! diversified your investsment in the promising coins/tokens in the market capitalized the dipping of prices in most altcoins not just bitcoin. buy in the dip and sell at high. so far i already have gaining some bucks because the coins that i was bought yesterday are already soaring its price. just choose that promising alts not just bitcoin.

I think investing in BTC is a good decision, but in this case I still have a lot of altcoin bags & I still hold it now. but I will follow the market trends if the worst possibilities of altcoin I have do not have a change in price, maybe I will sell or exchange it for a better one.

investment in altcoins only makes sense when they are starting to pump not when they are on the dumping mode. and right now they are on the dump and it will not end for at least another 6 months and probably until mid 2020.

It is good idea to buy Binance Coin. But for me, investing in altcoins is not a wise idea at this point of time as altcoins have been continuously decreasing in price. The only way to get profit from cryptocurrency market is just invest in bitcoin. Bitcoin will never make you get in a loss. So my suggestion is to invest in bitcoin.

I agree for BNB. Backed by big exchange binance make bnb worth to buy, for sure binance won't let bnb keep down but for eth , i guess you need a better option than ETH for now. many potential ALT COIN except eth for sure. i will choose stellar (xlm) and XRP over ethereum for now.

I think it may retest 3k USD before the market goes bullish again, so I would hold off and see if the EMAS will go down below the 20 day mark and stay there for a while. For long term investing it`s a good time to enter in some investments and if you are a short term investor, than it would be good to wait a bit longer, I think this is not the end of the drop.
The market is crumbling again, and this is not the last time we see that. It will rise again, it will drop again, try to catch the waves and make a profit, or just hang in and wait for the big wave, it`s always up to you.

Your idea is cool but nobody knows for sure if the current price you are buying at won't dip further. Personally I've been accumulating BTC and a few altcoins, when it dips more I'll buy more in batches. It's all calculated risk taking. Some altcoins I'm accumulating include ETH, BCH, and XLM.

Am happy that the price has reduced I was never down with altcoin investment, so I think it's time for me to invest more in bitcoin because the price wouldn't be low for too long

I already have a bag of NPXS, and added ETH and XRP. Of course accumulating BTC in this dip is a good idea. I like NPXS before but not sure about their movement these days because it's likely that they've started to lose the spotlight. I think the decision you made is not bad, even I personally have also bought several altcoins such as ETH, BNB, EOS, and NPXS.

I am doing both, buying some of bitcoin now and buying a few altcoins that crashes at 20-30% of it's price. No need to ask questions like these, obviously if there is enough financial availability, an investor will buy major potential coins whether it is btc or altcoins. It's very tempting to buy a coin when it is dropping, the hardest part is when it is dropping is , when is the floor going to hit, you may be buying at the first drop it's good, but what if it continues to drop 5 or 10% of the price you bought it, now that will be frustrating, my advice is not to use all your funds when the price is dropping there could be another round of drop and you're glad you still have funds.

If you are new to crypto, everyday is the best time to come in into crypto. For me, investing to it is like making a good investment for early retirement especially now that btc is 20% below. So it would be better to invest in btc then once it pumps that would be the time to buy alts cause as we all know alts are not following right away.

You don't have to ask that kind of questions anymore, buying a coin when dropping is always a good idea buying coins that are on the top 5 are always a good idea, the bad idea is pouring everything all you have in a new coin.

I think it is better this way. ETH and BNB both, are the best in terms of alt and can recover from their loses. Bitcoin is the king of crypto, it will recover from any loss you put on it. Recent price movements have not really been a collapse. They are minor bumps compared to the ATHs of these coins. I wouldn't be concerned at all. These are merely bumps on the road back upwards. The bear market ended a while ago now, we have had a decent rise, and we are now building support to push onwards for the next rise. I think the signs are good, and there is no reason to panic.

My most optimistic outlook has Bitcoin bottoming in March 2020. A slow bull market taking hold in May 2020. This bull will continue bouncing off the $20,000 resistance in February 2021. The resistance will result in a shallow retreat before the largest bull run in Bitcoin history takes place winter 2021. I'd still say alts do better at a certain timeframe until 2021, we can say that without making generalizations.

Bitcoin and altcoin are equally attractive to people to invest. they all still put considerable trust in bitcoin. now this is only due to the many altcoins that s cam I think their transition remains on bitcoin and for the increase just waiting for the momentum of bitcoin to be bullish

I don't tend to take much notice of the day-to-day price movements, I'm more interested in the longer-term trends as I'm not that great a trader. But I have to say, the movements today look quite important. We have been fighting downwards pressure for such a long time now, and since bitcoin bounced off its lower support line, it is surging. If we can push through the high $7ks and on towards $8k, then that should put a lot of confidence back in the market. I am well aware that prices fluctuate dramatically, but still today's moves look very encouraging so far.

We do share the same thought on that matter. In my case I am grabbing the opportunity of investing into both Bitcoin and Altcoins while the market is still down so I can just afford investing into the price I can. Even if you bought today at $7500, you're still getting a really solid discount off of the previous all time high. I would be investing every chance I got right now. Few days back bitcoin went below 7000$ and made an upward moment of almost 1000$ gain and that too in very short span of 4 days.
