Updated January 9, 2020
Thank you for your suggestions. I have selected a few altcoins for investment, BCH, BSV, ONION, DASH, XMR. There are also many altcoins with small market capitalization. I hope I can get lucky and bless you all to find the investment you like.

My suggestion to you before going to buy any altcoins or tokens you have to some research about what kind of business they will do and check the team members if you have any doubts do not invest. better is you can invest any top 20 coins like neo, torn, xlm and more hold for long term sure will get good results for your investment.

I cannot give you a particular kind of altcoin that will die. It is hard to say that. Altcoins are individual projects and even if there are many altcoins that can be categorized as one, they are still single projects. Everything will boil down to how the particular project offers a brilliant innovation or how it is pursuing significant partnerships or how it is being promoted. A project in a beaten path could still earn success if the perfect ingredients and timing are there.

Probably most of the new ones and those bitcoin fork coins. There is a tendency that those coins will be the next ones to get eliminated out of this market because of the investors sentiment is becoming stronger these days.

better is you can invest any top 20 coins like neo, torn, xlm and more hold for long term sure will get good results for your investment.
I agree about the top coins but also take that into account that not all of them are worth taking the risk.

Almost all kind of altcoin without any real world utility will die out eventually. Which literally meana, 99.99% of altcoins will die sooner or later. So do a research on the background of an altcoin before you put your hard earned money into it.

Try to assess their revenue streams because without revenue no business can sustain!

Try to look at the partnerships they are having because good partnerships are a key factor to the growth of their business. However, always verify their partnership claims from the partner's website or by contacting them!

If these parameters look good for an altcoin, they may survive for some time! But it is always better not to invest in an altcoin.

We can't really say for sure. However, I think top 10 at least would survive the market. Even though bitcoin still wins the race of crypto, altcoins still plays an essential role to bitcoins market activity. It opens up exchanges to different altcoins and to bitcoin, making the demand still exist. However, due to the given fact that there are too many altcoins in the market with no real value in the real world. Their features sure promise something but the credibility isn't still there. Only some proves to have use, ETH and such, but I don't really think other altcoins would survive once bitcoin gained more relevance in the future years.

Altcoin that have future and able to survive was altcoin that have good plan, good product that will truely needed in cryptocurrency market.useless projects that we often to see in current time only make distrurst to crypto market.investor will be very skeptic and finally afffected to another good projects that need funding from investor. They failed in crowfunding due generalization in all projects.

Only the top 20 altcoins will survived in the next 5-10 years, the rest? they are going to be in the cyrpto sphere long enough for pump and dump schemes. And most of them are going to be left by developers, so obviously they will die a natural death. Or worst, getting de listed by top exchanges because there are no activity behind.

There are also coins that doesn't offer anything at all no real life usage, no use case, not unique, so they are also going to die and won't survived in this ecosystem.

Altcoin that will die cannot be ascertained if in its development it is good then altcoin will survive in the market, but on average altcoin tends to have no value because it is less willing to manage tokens in the developer's market which is not fast in handling it, so altcoin will continue to appear there are also many who new and many are dead. My advice for market conditions like don't choose Altcoin for long-term investment is risky.

In the general terms of it, you are asking the properties of a coin that could drive volume and price in the market. The present market may make it difficult to tell but I believe the market also will inject a new properties to altcoins. Binance has requirements for listing project aside the fund, after verifying the project teams, they look into the roadmaps, partners, tokenomics, sometimes legal protection.

a lot of altcoins will die, especially altcoins that don't have any use or altcoins that the developer has left behind, projects without developers will only become extinct, because there won't be any progress,
so always avoid projects where the developer isn't active, or projects that don't have obvious uses. because sooner or later they will die.

Eth has a smart platform with several ico projects now, on the other hand many communities including me are also confident and have great expectations with this altcoin. maybe other altcoins like eos and bnb ,. I think among them is Altcoin which has great potential and has good opportunities for investment in the future.

I think the difference between altcoin going to die with it doesn't look clear enough. in fact, altcoin which doesn't have any development will only wait for the time until it's gone. one of its characteristics is when altcoin has lost the trust of its investors, and the price continues to decline. keep a close eye on coins like that in your wallet

Obviously, the type of altcoins that was gonna die is those shitcoins, including the coins that were already been abandoned by their own developers.
You can easily figure it out those type of coin if there will be no development and any progress that happens in their coin.
Most of them have no volume in the market and some of them almost drop their prices to zero.

In my opinion, actually all altcoins have a chance but most of the existing altcoins don't have a product, other than that the developer team isn't solid and is also traded on a small exchanger so it doesn't have enough volume to lift prices. Altcoin will die when the developer team no longer actively communicates with investors, other than that when there is no active trading in the market

usually this kind project that could not deliver product in their roadmap to investor.their whitepaper just planned for attract investor only.meanwhile in fact they have no capacity and capability to build product.with this condition investors will loss their confidence and start selling their token.

Altcoin will die, is when their developer speculate with investor's money. When they want to make product from ICO and sale. Because money that they have will only from investor and if something unpredictable happened, they sometime not really care about it.

Bad coins and mostly tokens, bad coins that are been created for fun still exist in crypto space, they have no reason of existence, no real use cases, and tokens are the worst ones and a big victim of scammers, they are easier to build that's why scammers use them alot

Altcoins that will eventually die is an altcoin with low demands that can't even fulfil the requirement of trading volume. They will eventually gets delisted from majority of exchange and will just left dying. Most of the coins that I know could hold on for so long are those coin with high demands and big community.
Even if a coin is really good and have promising project if the demands is too low they will just eventually die so in this case the trading volume is what matters most.
It's kinda ridiculous but it's the reality. I've seen plenty of promising coins that ended up become dust just because there's no one trading it and have no community base.

Personally, I think that now in the cryptocurrency market there is such a situation when all altcoins are in a calm situation. And now any coin is almost very unstable. But I believe that not one altcoin will die. Since any coin has a great development potential. And in the near future, any altcoin can bring a very good profit.

maybe the top 10 in coinmarketcap will last into the future. if I was told to choose altcoin, maybe I would prefer ETH (altcoin king) and stable coins like Tether (USDT).
I do not know what alcoin will die, but in fact altcoin is quiet from investors / there is no market movement, it will eventually die. I invest in altcoin just looking for profit, so if you already feel the profit I immediately sell it / change it to bitcoin.

We have seen scenarios of Altcoins getting so high in value and dropping drastically over a very short period of time, with no direction of getting back up. For any alt to survive after this long haul of bear market, then it must have a real working project that is already in progress and not a mere white paper. Alts currently on top positions are more likely to be successful in future.

Q1: What kind of Altcoins have a future? maybe first is eth or top ten list in cmc. why? they are still on the list for years until now. no other crypto currency that still surpass them. I hope that the is one that have focus on the benefits on its users, for sure it will be on top. but still eth will be.

Q2: What kind of Altcoins will die? For me all altcoins that run for money only. you can list them here but they are too many. some of them already died in mid sale. some of them back and run an IEO. I didn't believe they still exist right now. but non of them will surely useful in future. so what we can do now observe and let that projects show us what they can do.

The past is speculative coins on which people tried to make quick profits. Future - coins with certain benefits, used as a reward or fuel in ecosystems. Such coins are not an additional means to motivate people to use the project and its services. Utility tokens are the future. It can still be assumed that in the future STO coins will dominate among institutional groups.

Hard to tell what altcoins have a future with how the market is lately...as we can see that nothing really works anymore for altcoins and they dropping in price every day without being able to recover at leasta bit. I still have my confidence that dex coins will have a future from 2020 on-going and top 50 on cmc but I wouldn't buy all of them as some of them don't deserve to be even in top 200 so just make a research on the projects you want to buy and then make your move.

Coins or tokens that will die in my opinion are tokens that do not have a product and do not run according to the roadmap or whitepaper. In addition, the active factor of trading on exchangers is also important because without liquidity, investors will not believe in investing

There are too many altcoins which are just a copied version of other altcoins like payment based altcoins,  real estate related and renewable energy related,  I believe most of them will die as there are too many options available in the market and more over the reason for collapse of Altcoins are the fact that developers just lose interest and don't work on further development of the product once it's launched.

My top 3 picks right now would be
1) ETH
2) TRX
3) BNB

ETH & TRX because they add unique value and functionality beyond those currently proposed by Bitcoin, and BNB because they have gained tremendous capital through Binance and have branched out into many financial products, BNB will continue to be the key token for transacting Binance services, and "Binance chain" team intends to expand on its own blockchain technology...

ETH surely will have a future.
It backed up by credibility company, and it also has many upcoming events. also the community never die. ERC-20 projects keep incoming every day.
So one day i'm sure there will be something big happen in ETH
ETH has been a big coin for a long time. now it may be cheap because the market is weak and all the coins are down too. ethereum need not doubt it, but its growth is very slow now. in the future maybe there will be new coins that now do not look big even new ones in planning. we can see how the BNB with their exchange platform becomes large quickly. in the future, there will be projects with coins like BNB created. we must develop and not be fanatical with just one or two assets.

All altcoins that are in the top 10 will certainly not disappear anywhere and will constantly develop their technologies and capabilities and of course will bring us profit, but not all new altcoins certainly will have a good future, because now the competition in the cryptocurrency sphere is very huge and those altcoins that will provide an original product and will be sponsored by big companies will be able to develop without problems.

Title: Re: What kind of Altcoins have a future?

Now there are so many altcoins that appear so we can't choose which ones are good for investing for the future, and if you are sure to invest then choose altcoins that already have potential like etherium and others that have already developed in the market, and altcoins that have the volume is low then everything will turn to ash later.
of course, people will choose an asset like that for their investment. although there are still risks, but assets that already have a product and a real development in the market have a smaller risk than investing in assets of a new project. but sometimes I think of choosing a new project in investing because it also helps the development of a platform to survive in the crypto market. Can you imagine if everyone thought like you? what will happen to new projects that require support and funding from investors to develop their extraordinary concepts?

yep i agree that the simple way to know good altcoin which has good future too is looking at top 10 cmc
those coins are good for holding but it needs time to get profit of course
if you just wanna take fast and big profit too, top 100cmc is better because of its volality

Altcoin that will die is altcoin which only focuses on pump and dump. Yes it does look tempting, but when the developer is enough to rake in money, then he will run away and leave the project. Conversely, altcoins who have a future are those who still have the passion to innovate in any case especially blockchain. This development is carried out by a solid and competent team to create a satisfactory product or update.

There are many to mention, there are lot of promising projects in the market but due to the negative market behavior I would not suggest invedting to those coins. Why? old coins or cryptos which are not new to the market or those which have already established huge name in the market, would have a bigger chance to overcome the continuous downfall. ETH, BTC, LTC, XRP, and the likes are the coins I am referring to. I would prefer investing to these coins at this moment than those which are just new in thid industry.

BNB is new into the market but it surprises everyone. This is only one coin that proves something worthy of our trust cause most of the new coins that existed today are seemingly have nothing in the future. Investing those on the top altcoins is really doing great and it gives profit. What we have now is a big market challenge and those who have in faith with crypto will only survive.

Why they do not accept Bitcoin or Ethereum? Why they need token? You see, they are useless without any future.

The importance of doing your research before taking any decision in buying or supporting alts, since there's so many projects around the market
it is very important to make proper assessment with how useful the alt that you will going to buy and hold, if there's real team that will stay working with the updates and continue for further developments.

A kind of alt coins to hold is project that have solid intention to help the industry and to be useful in any desire target venue.

Altcoins that are most likely to be gone in the long run are those with team members who do not care about project development, rather focus on price spikes to sell off due to greed. Also, altcoins with no real product, in future people will hold coins not because of hype but because they are actually impressed with the product of the project.

There are a lot of coins that has died already and some are still dying.
We can spot it easily by looking at its trading volume, we can use this popular site https://coinmarketcap.com/ to check every coin.

Actually, it's not wise to check the dead coins as they would not help us at all, I mean we cannot benefit on them, what we should be looking now is just to look on the coins which has a high potential to recover so we can also make profit on it.

all will die if this decline continues until it reaches the bottom, we don't need to look far about what altcoins will die because even bitcoin as the strongest coin on the market is able to plunge in without having a final limitation at the moment. very worrying indeed this situation because most likely prices will touch 5k or even lower because of the huge panic happening now

I am not sure what specific kinds of altcoins will have a future but I am more than sure that the top altcoins right now are going to have a brighter future than the rest. How so? Because they have solid products, they have a solid community behind them, they have solid institutional investors, they have a solid brand already, and most of all, they have billions already. In other words, they have the one thing they need to be able to develop more.

Altcoins that are most likely to be gone in the long run are those with team members who do not care about project development, rather focus on price spikes to sell off due to greed. Also, altcoins with no real product, in future people will hold coins not because of hype but because they are actually impressed with the product of the project.

the altcoins that are on top clearly have products they are proud of. this is the reason why you can not go wrong when you invest to the top altcoins you see in the market. if the prices of these coins are low but are on top, its one of a good coin to actually invest. there is no reason to doubt when they are on top but if they are in about in the hundred in the rank, you would have to question whether there are still people behind it or have gone hiding already.

What kind of Altcoins have a future?

Unique blockchains that serve a useful function, separate to sidechains on Bitcoin.

Everything else is now fairly pointless.

Useful / unique Altchains over tokenization.

In my opinion, the type of altcoin that is listed in the order of the top 10 is because the coins are still in great demand so it is good for the future, but you do not forget to keep researching the coins, because it cannot be predicted what will definitely happen in the future.

These are all good to invest in crypto market, But majority of the peoples using the USDT because stable coins are useful in every investors. This year BNB was going rapidly so it will make good profit for future days and EOS, ETH and LTC are top rating coins so we earn good profit for future days. In my opinion top 50 altcoins are good marketcap so we must carefully choose the desire coins.

The downtrend is causing all investors in this market to have great anxiety and if not careful, you will be a victim in the bear market. In my opinion, Bitcoin needs to increase in the coming time because if this is not possible, the market will be very bad in the next few years. I don't have much faith in this time and Bitcoin can return to the $5000 at any time.

Based on what is happening, it is very difficult to make a profit and should be more careful during this time because this is the best way to reduce risk.

This is simply the truth, most altcoin projects do not have a product. Some will release an MVP to lure in investors at token sale stage, but will never develop a working product. Team members who do not have a product and do not foster project development will have a failed project in future. Also coins on exchanges with very poor volume, without any hope for listing on better exchanges will die in future. Take for instance, a coin is listed on coinexchange only, coinexchange is closing up and deadline for withdrawal is 1st December, and there are no markets to trade that coin, this will lead to massive dump and no buy orders.

I think that a lot of stablecoins will die because we don't need such a lot of stable tokens. A lot of them not have a volume. For my opinion - the more and more gaming tokens will be popular.

Bitcoin's dominance and emerging adaptation caused and has been causing its counterpart to meltdown, specifically altcoins. But there are altcoins who has the potential to withstand the hard time that bitcoin's dominance is giving them. One of those are Litecoin,  it was beung referred to as "silver to bitcoin's gold" and was among the initial cryptocurrencies that following bitcoin and has similarities to the latter in many ways, it offers faster transactions and faster confimation and has growing rate of merchants that has been using it. Next is ETH or ethereum, it is sought by many developers that are planning to run applications at ethereum platform, investors are also looking into using ETH for other digital currency transactions.

The ones that 'died' never had a future anyway (not sure which ones op is talking about here).  Many more are destined for death as well, but it will probably be a few years until the grave is dug for them.

The only alts worth owning are the ones which are retaining a decent chunk of their value right now, as the market is in a slump.  The really crap coins are taking much worse of a hit than the good ones, and that's how I can tell the winners from the losers.  Then again if bitcoin starts to take off, it will most likely lift up the crap coins as well.  You take your chances with those, tho.  I wouldn't want to buy any of them, not even now.

For top altcoin, only altcoin with usability and has a huge community base behind it can survive.
For low altcoin, a team that does not need their community money to survive and keep developing their project constantly.

We have seen many new projects asking their community money to get listed, or developing their project. This kind of project will not survive because they are not able to improve without their community money.

Individual Blockchains will gain more importance and there will be more growth on these altcoins developed. Apart from this projects that tokenize the services that has more real time usage will gain more userbase and growth. Right now we've got more than 3000 cryptocurrencies, among them maybe around 500 seems to have continued development.

The kind of altcoins that I think will survive is when the owner and/or developers of alts prioritize expansion over profit. Of course, every business or company needs profit but I am talking about setting a goal, time, effort, and money to ensure that their coin will live up in the next years by expanding. Those alts have greater chance to survive because they will be established and integrated in other markets.

altcoin that has no real use will die. at this time maybe we can't be sure because the market is in the cold season. but when the market starts to improve, we will realize that potential coins are altcoin which has real use and their platform is already operating.

coins that are always dumped, coins left by the development team, and other shit coins. all coins like that will die slowly in the future. I will not specify what that coin is. but certainly the coin was almost close to 0sats. You can see it in the market, because now many coins are like that.

It's easy enough to answer this question. Coins that will die and will not be profitable are coins that are only made to enrich the developer without any updates and their social media is not updated with their latest status. Lots of worthless coins that will make you lose if you invest in it. Do your research first. The market is indeed very bad, but our minds must also be calm, in the crypto world anything can happen.

Coins will die because there is no progress in market movement and because the team cannot develop projects properly to find solutions, especially in the development team and many other reasons that make coins die and it is very important to check or examine the team in detail before selecting it.
for Altcoin I still believe in Ethereum and Litecoin because they are both old Altcoin, and are still reliable even though there are many other Altcoins.

There are thousands of altcoins so it will be pain in the ass to pin point them one by one but I'm guessing that 80% of them will eventually die in the future because people will get smarter and understand that only few altcoins is useful, only strong coins with real-life use will be left.

The future of altcoin is still quite long and in my opinion is still strategic if we want to invest in it. now there are still many, especially altcoin in the growth and development of their platforms. not a few have experienced delays and also the decline in the impact of confidence from the deception that was so massive in the altcoin projeck the last 2 years
But at least expectations and altcoin performance aren't all bad. if the benchmark is about the price, there are indeed many that are unsatisfactory, but I am of the opinion that if their platform or product is successful, the price will follow with an increase.

It is difficult to absolutely determine if the coin will survive the market. Most of the projects "died" because they failed to grab the long lasting interest of the public. These coins are also almost copy-cats of already existing coins that's why for some, it is boring. The kind of coins that I think can and will survive are the ones that are unique and have strong sense of adapting in the dynamic changes in the market. These coins choose to survive rather than to earn a lot of money in a short time. They tend to think of the long term plans for their investors and promise only a little but realistic profit. After all, in the long run, those little drops could be equal to a large sea in time.

In my opinion, altcoin will be abandoned by traders in the market is altcoin that cannot be developed. Its presence in the market is unable to compete with other altcoins. Every altcoin created will have a role and can be used to meet the needs of consumers on the platform. When altcoin cannot be developed, then I think altcoin won't last long. The project roadmap that cannot be achieved by the team is also an indication that altcoin will die.

I believe that before talking about the prospects of a coin, it is not necessary to consider its value from the point of view of speculators who themselves artificially fuel interest in many projects, but from the point of view of the real and practical use of the coin in everyday life of a person, as well as how much  valuable project for society itself.  I agree with the opinion of many users that the cryptocurrency market will get rid of most of the cryptocurrencies and only the most popular ones will remain.  But today it is only necessary to focus on the volume of capitalization.

To make a detection of altcoin a scam can actually be done. now by looking at the volume and also buy orders have been seen between the scam and not altcoin. in addition, updates on developments or progress news can provide indications. so don't get caught up in the wrong choice

Isn't there a project which both have such as Komodo?  I agree this they do have future and like DASH its pretty much welcome to big exchanges and not restrained by regulations but this of course we knew DASH has settings for privacy option.

If you take notice to the altcoins on top of marketcap right now, its a mix of technology from privacy coins, smartcontact and the ones that tried solving the scalability such as EOS.

Nobody knows the future blah blah blah but some areas look promising if you DYOR.
ETH will be huge if DeFi becomes huge, and the probability appears high.
AI-as-a-service could be big, if so coins like AGI and VXV could benefit.
Exchange tokens could thrive after the regulatory clouds have passed.  KNC could do well, BNB might keep doing well.  BXY could be a steal if it survives as it's basically free right now courtesy of some FUD.

I have been expecting to see something in the altcoin market, but there is no progress other than getting worse. Altcoins with real product will survive. What this product is also important, products that are not useful will not be evaluated too. In short, if the community supported altcoins go further without regression, they will always have a good place.

Why isn't product supported? I think for this many people already understand that investing in problem products is very risky. even if there is a big increase only fomo is done and there is also a big risk if we want to trade when there is a large fomo. so wiser in my opinion in choosing it

The altcoin market is changing according to the volatility of BTC, so it isn't entirely altcoin without the future, you should consider holding the coin in the top 50, with the volume of transactions and marketcap, for its stability.
And i hope a altcoin trend will come soon.

I think altcoins will die if their project can not creat real application to used in life, when have no partner join in their projects.

And when it comes to competition in the market, crypto with the same application and function often leads to elimination of altcoins that isn't having much adoption. So in order for a project to succeed, it needs to be unique in its own way. At least one thing that it would differentiate it to its competitors to have some assets to take advantage.

Without any form of gainsaying, you should know that shitcoins are bound to die. Also, that a coin has a produced or that the team profess that the is a product, does not mean that it will not die. In fact, if the product is not being used actively and does not have future prospects, it will still not survive after fee years. So, ensure you do a lot of research on a project and make sure it is truly available, before investing in it.

I don’t know if what you meant here is that altcoins that would  not die, because if you are looking for altcoins that will die, you will find thousands of them in the market and there is no point listing them here because the whole page will be full of different failed and bad projects that people know and that would really not help matter, so I think what we should be researching out now are projects that we can comfortably say that they will stand in the future for their real solid projects.

I am this kind of person that personally, I don’t like discussing about failures, but I like talking more of successful projects that we have in the market and I think most successful projects that I know right now are projects that are within the top 20 coins documented on coinmarketcap.

The price of altcoins are more volatile than that of bitcoin. They may skyrocket or fall within seconds of the time frame. They are more risky to hold. The new altcoins are even more riskier. Altcoins that are considered "shit coins" (coins that are just some regular coin with no outstanding feature or coins that are clone of other coins) will eventually die. The coins get pumped by the developer and then they end up dumping it which results the death of the coin.

in my opinion the type of altcoin that will die is
1. coin that has no progress in the project
2. the team is not active to provide information about the project
3. investors are not interested to investing in the project (have a low volume), because the project doesn't have a good product

You'd better ask about the altcoins that will survive  :)
The list of potentially dead coins would be too long, heh :)
I think 99% of all altcoins we see now will die in the nearest 2 years.

Although there is no specific guidelines to determine which of altcoins have a future, a common observation may be applied. Any altcoins that are still active and being used by traders such as ETH, XRP, Monero and etc. are considered to have a future since we can see that its developers and creators are not stopping supporting and developing it in order to make its transaction cheaper, better, and more efficient.

I personally do not know which type of altcoin will die, but in my opinion coins that do not have volume and demand over time will disappear from cryptocurrency and I personally think maybe only the top 20 coins will survive or arguably compete with each other .

With the current situation of Crypto nowadays, we can't be certain which altcoins have a future. Personally I only have BTC and ETH and a few altcoins in my portfolio now but still, I am uncertain which one will perform best in the future. I personally think that only the father and mother will survive for sure, I am not sure with their kids, it all depends on how well they will adapt to our current situation of supply and demand.

The possibility of altcoin that will last a long time is altcoin with the concept of stable coin, stable coin concept of investing in fiat and its value follows the fiat value. Altcoin like BNB made by large exchangers is altcoin which is likely to survive. Ethereum with a large community, despite its low growth for now.

I think the only long term altcoin is the real working product and what people can really use in crypto currency. Surely over time many altcoins will die and the only ones left are altcoins that are really stable and helpful to humans.

If altcoins will die, maybe our very best options now was still bitcoin to do a significant potential profit gains. As I can see the market right now it wasn't having good movement and most of the altcoins we'rent able to sustain a definite increase in value. There might be some optional coins, but eventually it will again lose its value when it enters the market.

For projects who are trying to raise money now doing their token offering and failing to gather funds, those will surely die out and not come back, they're just using reasons like waiting for the market to bounce back before they try to do another ICO. Though there are altcoins that is definitely the future, crypto/blockchain is now being incorporated everywhere due to its technology, there's Twitch+Netflix (https://www.bitmov.io/?utm_source=lx) where viewers can earn tokens by engaging. Anything that improves the current system and helps adoption is key.

As for projects that had successful funding, its really up to the team to deliver and from their efforts, we can say that they are the future. If they're not doing anything to market their product, then the investors will just die out.

i think these are important for altcoins, so the altcoin which has could be long last in crypto space :
  • great project
  • great team dev
  • big community
  • good exchange
  • great milestone achievement
  • great marketing
  • fast growing

We have seen many companies like this but failed to develop after fundraising. Sometimes it is impossible to find the legit company even though we have seen all the qualities and from 2017, many companies with these qualities cannot able to secure good product and cannot able to survive their price in the market.

Do they have interoperability with the greater blockchain mesh?
Do they serve some unique purpose that no other crypto is geared to do?
If some other crypto is geared to do that purpose, how does this crypto do it better?
How transparent is the team? If they're lacking there, are they purposely opaque or just poorly organized?
How much does the team spend on R&D vs. marketing?
What is the community like? Are they talking about concepts and ideas or do they talk price, price, price, exchange listing, price?

Stakenet is my favorite alt for hitting the nail on the head the right way in all these regards.

The coins that have real use and are actively delivering on their promises and road map will have a good future I think. There are many coins that get pumped and dumped just for personal gains. So far I have not seen only a handful of coins that have real use and that are delivering on their promises. I think bitcoin has a real use.

A lot of new coins are coming, and we cannot identify if one of them will die soon, it depends on their project. Before buying a coin or a token make sure that you search for it and read their project and if you think that they have a future or not then decide for yourself. For me, ETH is for sure left behind all of the altcoins out there.

Besides, the technology and potential that come from the background of these projects is amazing!

The altcoins market is crushing because most of their cryptocurrencies have no product supporting the native token. This should really stuck a chord amongst cryptopreneurs about the exact projects we invest our monies into. It's best to invest your funds into projects with working products on the market, a very good token structure, listed on a highly liquid exchange etc. At least considering these factors before investing into any project would get rid of all the scam projects in this industry.

Those altcoins that does not even have a volume in the market, indeed.
Those altcoins are the altcoins who have been left by their developers and focus more on other things. Those altcoins will probably die and being forgotten as the time passes by. Compare to popular altcoins where their improvement still continue even today.

What makes altcoin able to develop is the running of platforms and also the selection of strategic exchanges. because it can thus benefit. I am pretty sure that if there are projects that fit the two main aspects, they will not die, instead they will make a lot of new preferences for investment.

Altcoin in the future is still pretty good if indeed they have no problems with proper planning and also trading on exchanges that also does not experience problems or major declines. now if the altcoin price has decreased significantly, it makes the valuation of that altcoin decrease. negative stigma will definitely arise. even if the product runs. except there are conditions where crypto is experiencing a downtrend

Weak projects, those with flawed technology, those with no future in sight, or without use cases, and even those without good use cases are all going away. That probably means well above 90% of what is available right now won't survive the next couple of years. New coins might replace them, although I expect the number of altcoins to drop drastically in the next few years. It's safe to say that when we start celebrating 20 years of crypto, barely any names from today's markets will be present.

altcoin which does not have many users, does not have a good price development, does not have a high trading volume. such altcoin criteria might die soon. and for me altcoin that has a good future is altcoin that is already established or that has been listed in the top 10 on cmc. including Ethereum, BinanceCoin, Litecoin and EOS.

Chainlink, Tezos, Vechain and many others are not in top 10, but I believe in those projects. There are some of these projects that will still outrun and overtake some of those in top10. The development of blockchain and cryptocurrency is one form of human existence in increasing the effectiveness of various fields. So blockchain adoption must be increased. The more people know, with a unique niche, mass adoption, real use, user-friendly, will automatically form a strong market capacity. So for new altcoin, the project must focus on that.
Not only useful coins that will be survived, but the coins with high demands and it's popularity.
Many coins that only for payments and no other features, but the marketing startegy is really good building the hype. People will hunt for it.
That is why market confidence is needed. If investors are interested and confident in the performance of the project, its popularity will increase, this becomes a symbiosis of mutualism, dev makes a good contribution in developing the project and investors will also receive satisfactory returns.

Just choose an altcoin that has very good concept and have a very interesting platform. There's no doubt why some projects have been diluted their funds due to lack of this and probably just created to gain some fund for trading. I guess that's their only purpose. Check always the btc dominance, and you can know the status of the altcoin market. If the dominance is quite high then altcoin isnt improving a lot of progress.

Well, I don't keep records on altcoins which have low potentials when I come across them. What matters during my search and research into projects is to identify the right coins and projects to invest in because that is where the profit may come from. A project like DIVI is one of the few projects of our time with incredible prospects. It has got well experienced team and the concept is one of a kind. On the other side the altcoins that are likely to die is those coins without progress from the dev, they didnt follow their plan and has no improvement. Thats why its better to invest in popular coins in CMC rather than new coins because its less risky.

Rather thank asking what type of altcoins are going to die, you should have asked what type of altcoins are going to survive. That could have been much easier to answer. The problem with altcoins is that too many of them are in existence right now, and on top of that a very large number of new coins are being created everyday. So for the same purpose, you have hundreds of different coins available. In the end, none of these coins may be able to gather the bare minimum number of users and acceptability, and they will die out. In my opinion, no more than 50 to 100 altcoins are going to survive in the long-term (out of a total of 10,000). The rest of the coins will get delisted from the exchanges as time progresses and may become dormant.

Looking in the direction of the top 100 coins on the market is a good strategy to stay safe in ones crypto investment because these coins are believed to have all the capabilities required for a coin to survive. However, experts can cross the line and look into new projects by performing thorough researches on the project to identify the originality and potentials of the project. Some of these new projects can surge more than 100% when listed on the market.

I think that some altcoins will die if the project does not go as per the roadmap and Whitepapernya, and no application or technology can be used in the real world for everyday.

Even with the popular coins whose active several years ago, but was not taken care by the developers; those crypto will not remain sustainable in the future. As we move towards the competition, it's not guaranteed that your desired altcoins will stay profitable.
We really need a strong community that continue to support the platform wherein, investors or holders will always treasure the value of that coin to remain consistent for it's price development.

We really need a strong community that continue to support the platform wherein, investors or holders will always treasure the value of that coin to remain consistent for it's price development.
right, altcoin which has a large community, of course, will get good development. but the project must also have useful innovations. so the product is much needed by the community. if this goes on continuously the project will further develop. and in the end both must maintain mutual trust

Old altcoin projects with active teams have better future and assurance than new altcoins, popular altcoins still have what it takes to bring good returns in near future if altcoin season returns and only few new projects with have the chance, presently this red market is killing off weak projects and old altcoins only lose values

I agree most of the time an alternative token you never have a value in the marketplace I guess it is because of so many altcoins that are created in the market compare to the other altcoins like bitcoin cash, monero, xrp, etc. most of them are already popular and already have a investors in a way so I guess the market in that certain token already has its market so just like etherium it has a potential to be like bitcoin itself. But still all of them is just a copy of bitcoin itself so I guess all of the popular altcoins are the only tokens that could sustain it in the future market.

Simply put, the type of altcoin that will die has bad criteria, especially as teams and developers don't care about their projects, altcoin prices are difficult to develop, users are shady and don't have increased trading volume. and altcoin which has a future like the top altcoins Ethereum, XRP, Litecoin, and also BNB. they are high potential for long-term investments.

I do not agree with you. Far beyond the top ten alternative coins, there are a whole host of projects in which life is in full swing.
According to my conservative estimates, similar projects can be found up to the 500th line of the top list.

Indeed, the most important thing in alternative projects is how the team works, and how the implementation of project ideas is progressing.
If these factors are present in the project, then it can be called promising, and in the future it can easily move from the top 500 to the top 100. After all, projects that stop in development quickly fall down the list.

In my opinion it can be an indication that altcoin is indeed strategic to invest in or have a future. lest we are wrong in choosing altcoin which we will invest. because of mistakes we will give losses later on.basically we have to analyze as a whole

My suggestion to you before going to buy any altcoins or tokens you have to some research about what kind of business they will do and check the team members if you have any doubts do not invest. better is you can invest any top 20 coins like neo, torn, xlm and more hold for long term sure will get good results for your investment.
Only top altcoin on exchange market have the future for altcoin if you want hold for long term, never buy altcoin have under 200 position in coinmarket cap because very risk dump and delist with exchange market. You can hold with big volume transaction altcoin in exchange market like ethereum, bitcoin cash, litecoin and you can hold binance coin or BNB for long term your investment.

It's a must to value the usage and the team behind every projects that you are eyeing to invest your money. Most of the time utility coins have a good chance to provide profits both from short and long term investment. Any idea which have a decent market size to tap, has a use case with a profitable revenue model and is easily scalable, will do good in future.
I have seen many project which usually lack on one of the above mentioned characteristics. There have been innovation but they either don't have profitable revenue model or don't have sizeable market to tap. So, if you're investing in an altcoin, you should look after these aspects. If you look at crypto, it offers all of the above mentioned features.

It's a good question. I am working in crypto sphere around three years. I have seen all May be 99% ICO and IEO are scam. They are weighting social media by offering bounty and Airdrop. But giving reward a lot of time later. Doing list on so called exchange. Where no one taking advantage by buying those token. And many are taking too much time for products development work.

So, I have moved from ICO and IEO and buying token from security token offering on largest exchange. Recently, I have invested on MEGA security token. It's New. Registered on UK regulator Financial conduct authority.

Trading is ongoing on stellar dex  https://stellarport.io
1 MEGA token= 28 xlm.

For details you can join their telegram group @megafantoken

yes you are right we must always do your research seriously before choosing a coin. I also recommend buying the top 20 coins like BTC, Eth, Xrp, Eos and Neo. choosing the top coins can minimize the risk of losing because the top 20 coins will not be lost and have long survived in the crypto market. although the value is now down but I am optimistic that in the future the value can increase. we just need to wait and be patient. and the type of altcoin that will die in my opinion is altcoin which does not have a trading volume or altcoin which has a bad development team.

The altcoins that has the bigger possibility to die is those altcoins below the top coin because there is no investors that are investing to them so they probably dying so I suggest to do some proper research in order for you guys to avoid investing or buying those coins that may die very soon. Another one is let's just hope to lessen those altcoins that are dying and the altcoins may survive soon.

The good level of top altcoins is really appreciated but you say it will have a future when we hold it in the long run, which is something I doubt because the purge of this market happens so often, many altcoins were once excellent and superior products, it still lost its position in a very confusing way, so the problem is that what will still exist and be good in the future, it is not easy to judge. And instead of acting on a belief in these altcoins, we should operate based on the market and people's needs, this is constantly changing but that is definitely our near future

A tough question and it contains a mysterious value, yes how not to speak Altcoin and Altcoin what has the future.
Basically, pseudo Altcoins are made with one goal of  "profitable ". Profitable makers and who use such coins. But in the end we can see a large altcoin project, has a clear vision, a lot of support from various parties, itupun not necessarily a good future.
Everybody knows about Stellar Project. This coin was created for the community only but after the regeneration changed to XLM and more universal and can also be said one of the strongest coins at the moment.
We can learn from XLM and the process. Well to answer the question of what Altcoin has a good future, my answers in the form of predictions and opinions only. Look for altcoins that already have tradition and strength, no matter if the coin is old or new coin, the most important thing is a continuous profit, right?
In addition to XLM, perhaps for now the feeling I say the TRX based tokens have a future, but it all comes back again to your passion and choice.

actually this is a bit ambiguous, because from what I know, although currently the top 10 coins are good coins, but that does not mean coins under the top 10 cannot be top 10 coins.  however, there are still quite a lot of good coins to choose from under the top 10 coins. Even monero and steller are not among the top 10 coins for now. so, I think, there are still quite a lot of coins worth considering out there, and altcoin that has a future is a coin that continues to evolve, and blends in with the latest technology, or it can be said that altcoin that will survive is a coin that has benefits and contributions big at the moment.

Scalability are being handled right now by different projects specially the top altcoins today, some had claimed already I think it won't be long a break through will happen with these projects. The success of altcoins in the future do not just rely to its usecase and technology but its to the people using the chain. Anyone in crypto will see how much volume an altcoin have in CMC and that is good indicator that the altcoin has better future.

You talk of the scalability of a coin in particular, if it is on its own block chain.
Most of the altcoins are using the block chain platform of others, such as ethereum, eos and the likes.
However, despite the scalability problem of ETH platform, some of the altcoins are much better than those that have their own block chain.

your answer doesn't even connect with what he was talking about. someone who you have quoted his post is talking about the utility of the altcoin which not even owned by almost all of the coins.
almost 99% coins in the market are securities even coins are having blockchain must be included in this category except some which already have utility usage. scalability is not the main problem but it's yes for utility.

If what you are asking is what type of altcoin will die, then the answer is that very many altcoin will die. Especially the new Altcoin that failed in ICO and IEO. Old Altcoin will also fail because it was abandoned by the developer because it was not developed anymore. Many altcoins are dead and abandoned because their purpose is made only for speculation and used only to get the personal profit of the developer.

I still believe in bigger infrastructure projects like EOS, NEO and ADA, even if they may fail to dethrone ETH as a main infrastructure project. So I would probably bet on those kind of tokens with addition of some wild-cards like Aion, Fantom and Hedera. But the crypto space never fails to surprise us with unexpected turns of events, so who knows.

Check out SUNCONTRACT. It's a low cap token with a working product. I think that they proved that they are not scamming. If they run away more than a thousand houses in Slovenia run out of electricity. The platform is working great, they are supported by the EU with 2M€ for development.

In the last meeting, the CEO mentioned that the next market will surely be Italy. The legislation took more than they thought so plans are moved in the first months of next year. But everything is going as they said. Slovenia is a great polygon for testing everything. Platform have few hundreds if not thousands of consumers, those needs are covert by many solar and hydropower plants. At this last meeting, we saw a lot of interested new producers with a few hundred kW powerplants. They assured that they will join SUNCONTRACT platform. 2020 will be very interesting for the Slovenian part of the platform. I hope the next market will be available soon.  Cool Cool Cool

COMUNITY WEBPAGE with all official links and own articles.

I think we will hear a lot more in the future. If I compare with POWR, WPR, and others I have to say that SNC marketing is not the best but development is lightning year in front of competitors.

There are actually lots of altcoins that are coming and for me they should have solid and innovated platform. It is all about the platform, if they have proposed some unique platform using some great blockchain technology is effective. We all know that the market is recovering as of now we can see that just look at the coinmarketcap the prices of every cryptocurrency is rising up. I hope that it will continue and reach highest peak just like what happened to bitcoin last 2017. It actually reaches twenty thousand dollars and almost of the ICOs is gone successful because at that time the prices are good and investors are giving their money into some project. Almost all project is making good profit that time. We can foresee that in the future to happen again.

Only with the top exchange market altcoin have good for the future, if you hold shit altcoin and rank under 100 position on exchange market you will lost your chance get much profit with altcoin investment, you can hold and save altcoin have higher rank on market and save it for long time because can increase your profit and take higher price for the future.
You would not believe that I don’t so much agree with this aspect of judging coins based on rank because every coin must equally have rank without ever sharing the same rank. I am just trying to use this as example, so don’t quote by saying I am comparing Ethereum to be at same level with bitcoin, but imagine that Ethereum and bitcoin function same way, the fact that they cannot all be ranked as 1 will surely make the other fall into the second rank, and this is exactly why you see some coins below 100, it is not that they also don’t deserve to fall in between, but because of many projects that we have, they must surely have a ranked tag. What I just look at in a project is the quality of product and services that they have.

Altcoins are made for our convenience in various activities, altcoins are designed to help people with different problems, and for different purposes.
Others use altcoin to scam people. Some are to facilitate our jobs, and others to facilitate our transactions at no fee or low fee like XRP.

And I think in order to survive an altcoin it needs a unique product for people.

Honestly, I do  not see any point crossing the line to extend to projects that are above the top 100 coins because as the crypto sphere is now, I don’t think that we have really grown above those projects in terms of population, every of these projects keep creating a working product as claimed by them which I think that nit many of us really need, which is why you could see that majority of them are breathing on speculation  alone, but speculation has a limit, it will only create hype for the project for a very short time, but not enough to keep it safe for a very long time.

I am not saying that people should not come up with new project, but it needs to be according to the demand of the community and according to the growth of the community too, otherwise, there will be too many wasted time and money.

Well, opinions differ. To me, Ethereum is extremely fit to hold for the future. My reason is because the team keeps up with development and means to advance the Ethereum blockchain (switching to POS algorithm for instance is a hard nut to crack per say, but they embarked on it).  The altcoins that won't stand the test of time obviously are those with an inexperienced or incapable team or team with scam motives who are just in for the money.

I recommend buying altcoins with a good history and potential for growth. I will buy altcoins in the top 50, some of the altcoins I will buy are TRON, Stella, Litecoin, and especially Ethereum. Of course it's obvious altcoins will die is the low value in the market to become zero value which we know that is shitcoins so better to choose altcoins from the top 10 to top 20 to avoid risk why I told this opinion because we know in the right time altcoins gives better profits. Specially I expect that before end of thus year altcoins will become better in the coin market cap.

It is difficult to predict which altcoin will die or which will shine. But in my opinion, we can see it from the rankings in the coin marketcap. If a coin has a large liquidity and transaction volume, the opportunity to shine will be even greater

There is yet no altcoin that I can confidently hold unto for long, most especially when there is not to get any of them disposed at anytime for liquidation. I was former thinking that ethereum would fill in the gap, but this believe seems to be shaking.
Top ten coins on coinmarket cap become best altcoin at the future and you can invest or hold for long term, if you choose under ten top coinmarketcap rank you have always stand bye looking when price up and down, but if you choose ten top altcoin in coinmarketcap like ethereum, ripple, Bitcoin cash and lite coin your sleep well and not worry with above altcoin will have lower price.

Yes of course altcoin have a future because not so popular and the project goes smoothly, just waiting and clay in the future.
Only altcoins have just a lot of dead because the developer does not take the project well and correctly. Therefore altcoins can still shine in the future.

I think altcoins operate in the form of traditional businesses such as real estate, food or businesses that do not operate in the model of technologyization.
Such businesses will often be more likely to die because those firms will typically generate significant dividends for dividend investors. so speculation will not take place in such types of businesses in the crypto market.

almost 2 year altcoins are on bearish market which is long, so it's no wonder if many coins going to zero/ scams

Looking at the numerous altcoins on the market, I can vouch for Ethereum to have good prospects. Ethereum has one of the best technology team and still remains the largest platform when it comes to altcoins. Ethereum 2.0 as anticipated will also bring massive change in price and value of ETH on the market. DIVI is also another good coin to look into. DIVI is a community-based autonomous decentralized organization which works with PoS.

The more you hold NEO coin, the more GAS coin you receive.

Altcoins are popular, have a large community, have useful functions, a large volume and an active developer characterizes altcoins
that have a future. But if the volume altcoins are small, not registered in CMC, the community is not active, The developer is left
behind, only registered at certain exchanges and there is no price movement that is the characteristic of altcoins that will not staying
in the future can change its status to shitcoins or deadcoins. So please be careful in choosing altcoins for invest, learn and analyze
coins that you will buy.

ethereum is still the best coin after bitcoin, so i totally agree if ethereum has a good future.

i have also been holding ethereum for quite a long time, and although the price is not as good as it was a few years ago, but until now ethereum still gives me a profit.

That could reduce the risk but it is not a guarantee that you will be investing into good altcoins because not all of the altcoins in the top 20 deserve their spot. It is better to scan the market and look for promising altcoins and dig deeper about them and invest into the altcoins that you know that are worth it for long term. Don't be dependent on the ranking of altcoins because it could change anytime.

When the blockchain is adopted by many countries, then the transaction system makes the blockchain the basis. Stable coin is a kind of altcoin that can survive in the future. Now the benefits of stable coin are always at low and stable fluctuations, block transactions per second are faster than bitcoin like USDT.

While for altcoin which might be shitcoin is altcoin which doesn't have good development in some news. I don't want to mention some of these altcoins.

I guess the top currencies will thrive in the future, accompanied by blockchain technology being spread all over the world! Over the years, the strong rise of the currencies has confirmed its potential!

By "top currencies" you mean those cryptocoins having the largest market capitalization, such as Ethereum, Ripple, Litecoin and Cardano? I would say that rather than the "top currencies" the best ones will survive in the long term. Having a large market cap is no guarantee for the future success. Unless the team makes a lot of effort with the continued development, none of the coins will survive.

I have seen only one coin surviving in the cryptocurrency market without any sort of continued development. That honor goes to DOGE. It was started off as a parody coin, but within a short time it gained a lot of users and they managed to build a lively online community. The creators of the coin (Billy Markus and Jackson Palmer) disowned it later and moved on, but the coin is still going strong.

My advice is not to go with the rank. It can be used as one of the parameters for selecting the coin, but it is not a very reliable one. First of all, the market capitalization calculation in CMC is flawed. They tend to inflate the market caps of certain cryptocurrencies, without taking the ratio of coins in free-float to the total supply in to account. It is very evident in the case of some heavily manipulated coins, such as Ripple (XRP). If I were you, I would give the first preference to the number of users and the trade volumes from the top exchanges.

If you are considering investing, then choose the price from 160$ to 170$ because this is a very cheap price and you absolutely can make good profits.

in my opinion altcoin that will die is altcoin whose volume and price increases are played by the developers themselves so that many investors suffer losses due to developers who play the price for their own benefit. therefore altcoin is like that I believe only last a while because the game developer is about volume and price

Aside the major altcoins out there like ethereum, Bnb, ripples and other top 20 others on coinmarketcap, if you want to invest in conventional altcoins you have to make a lot of research about the project as most altcoins developers emerges new coins without a real life utility with the intention ls of just making money for their own pockets.

Well.. the main difference between Bitcoin and the altcoins is that the creator of Bitcoin never tried to profit from his invention. There is no proof available to claim that Satoshi Nakamoto ever sold any of the coins that he mined. But the case is different with the altcoins. Almost all of the altcoin developers pocketed nice amounts from the ICOs and later from the price manipulation.

And the situation is getting worse now. Earlier, the developers were not that greedy. For example, despite creating Ethereum, Vitalik Buterin only received a small percentage of the total supply as reward (and most of that he sold for low prices). On the other hand, nowadays most of the ICOs reserve 20% or even 30% of the total supply as premine and share them among the founders and promoters.

It is logical to assume that in the future altcoins will survive, which now hold the leading positions for quite a long time. What distinguishes these leading cryptocurrencies from hundreds of others? The answer is simple, they give the cryptocurrencies ecosystem a real benefit. Other projects, startups and other organizations are taking advantage of the opportunities offered by leading cryptocurrencies. Thus, to stay afloat in this market projects need to carry a real benefit for the entire cryptocurrency economy. Also, cryptocurrency should have the prospect of being used in the real world. This is also a very important indicator that can bring the coin to the TOP of capitalization.

There are a lot of altcoins that has a future, especially the top 10 altcoins in the market such as ETH, XRP, BNB, BCH, NEO, XMR, and etc. But there are also a lot of altcoins that will die because those coins don't have any good value at all, that is why crypto users had been calling it "Shitcoins" because no one has an interest to buy it and hold it for a long time.

Your topic title and post is different. However, answer would be similar. You will realize yourself which Altcoins have torture and and which Altcoins would die. Those Altcoins isn't backed by potential uses that coins would die. Same for those coins have backed by potential uses their future is bright. Now find on the markets, you will see some project just create token and listed on exchange, probably they will die day by day. Because token is useless if exchange delisted them. Some Altcoins is useable like ETH, so they have bright future. Now you could research current market for correct answers.

There are two things that novice traders should know before making investment choices both on tokens and coins. Tokens and coins are two different types of cryptocurrency because not many beginners know about it.

Token is a digital asset issued by a project that can be used as a payment instrument in the project ecosystem. Tokens can function as digital assets, represent company shares/ ownership (security tokens), provide access to various functions in the project and many others. Refferency (https://digitalis.id/blog/perbedaan-coin-vs-token-cryptocurrency-dan-hubungannya-dengan-blockchain/)

Coin Coins have similarities in terms of their function as the applicable currency in the project ecosystem itself. But the difference is, coins have their own blockchain or in another language, "build their own mainnet". Refferency (https://digitalis.id/blog/perbedaan-coin-vs-token-cryptocurrency-dan-hubungannya-dengan-blockchain/)

Both of these types are equally tradable, but if you want the future of your investment assets then I think coins are a good choice. All coins that have this blockchain will certainly compete to be the best with a variety of functional features and advantages of each. If you want, look at some coins that might have a bright future in the top 10-15 coins at CMC.

Code:
1. Ethereum
2. XRP
3. Bitcoin Cash
4. Litecoin
5. Binance Coin
6. EOS
7. Bitcoin SV
8. Stellar
9. Tron
10. Cardano
11. Monero
12. NEO
13. IOTA
14. DASH
15. Cosmos

The answer is: Altcoins backed by a real product.

Lets think what is a real product, what brings real profit and what is (and will be) attractive for investors.
I am sure that Binance coin is one of these altcoins what we are looking for. It is backed by the biggest cryptocurrency exchange, by having BNB you have many advantages on this exchange plus the biggest advantage is the coin burning that happens every quarter - this makes BNB very interesting for investors because price should grow.  8)

At present most of the altcoins cannot survive in the crypto market and become shitcoin because they cannot develop and do not have trading volume. coins that have no trading volume will eventually die. so I always recommend investing in the top 20 CMC coins. because the coins already have a large trading volume and market capitalization. and also already has a community so that coins are not likely to die like ethereum, ripple, litecoin and binance coin. all of it is a potential coin.

And in this it is very difficult to predict the further development of the crypt. From this situation on the market, I believe that the most promising coins in the future will be Ethereum and Bitcoin. So let's hope that these coins will bring us good profit.

Altcoins that have good utility and also facilitate mass adoption in general will be the ones I believe that will flourish over the course of the next five to ten years. Also those altcoins that address problems and that offer the smart solutions we so need to thi=rive in the 21st century will also do well. IOT, aka internet of things and AI based projects utilizing blockchain will also be in the green if they target their audiences well and produce the products and services people want and need. Gone are the days when every shit coin with a name and a whitepaper got onto an exchange and was being pumped and dumped to oblivion. Now we have savvier investors to satisfy.

The idea of digital currencies is a fascinating one and altcoins’ world is full of options. There are all types of coins available. Real, fake, profitable, reliable, scams, slow, fast. It all depends on the investor which one he chooses. Crypto coins have changed lives of many people and you can become rich easily with the help of crypto currencies. The only step is to invest in the right coin. I suggest bitcoin first.

Ethereum is the platform for new apps, same as NEO, stellar, tron, and from recently bnb is a platform too. What usage case are you talking about, with many alts you can trade and gamble, that some usage case, don't you agree?!
I`m looking for active teams and community members behind some alt. If alt have dedicated team behind, with active supporters, that project will be successful in the future, cause active supporters are spreading the word better then any other type of advertising. Each of us have something that look for in alt, for you maybe some alt have no usage case while someone else is making a huge profit on the same alt? Do you get what I`m talking about?

I only discuss it in general, which will die, of course, tokens or coins whose project development does not run in a sustainable manner, so that investors are left behind and nobody wants to guarantee their funds there. Lots of shitcoin like that nowadays.
So, be wise in choosing investments, do not be easily influenced. You better focus on coins and potential tokens with projects that are constantly being developed and have real functions and opportunities to be used globally.

Developers will continue to work to maximize their projects so that future prospects will be obtained. I have no doubt about a brighter future for altcoin, both tokens and coins. But when investors feel disadvantaged from this activity, then who else can project altcoin as a profitable investment asset ?
Right now we still dream of a better future, but without a good breakthrough, more altcoin will be left behind.

My vote would be for coins like Tao or ODBcoin.

Those would be coins which with real-world use cases/businesses built on them, OR which are official coins (either full blockchains or tokens) linked to a celebrity, a country, or some other kind of brand with a following and loyal fans.

I think Tao is an example of this because there are currently at least three incorporated businesses founded around using Tao - a record label, an exchange, and something called Fanmix. Fanmix is a service similar to the recently closed Pledgemusic or also similar to Patreon.

Bands raise funds by pre-selling albums, plus merchandise, and if they raise over $10K then they are issued their own branded cryptocurrency and all fans who pledged money to them get their share of the coins.

Those coins can then be traded on the exchange https://alt.market but *only* with Tao as the base for the pair. So you can exclusively sell artist coins for Tao, or use Tao to buy the artist tokens.  There's also an affiliate program which pays out Tao for every dollar spent by anyone you send to Fanmix.

They did a trial run late last year with ODBcoin which is an officially licensed Wu-Tang Clan Ol Dirty Bastard cryptocurrency. Fanmix just opened recently launched their first band on the platform a couple of days ago:
https://fanmix.com/@smantx/our-next-album?ref=fegdbglii

So Fanmix and AltMarket both use Tao central to the way their business is run and create value in it through the operation of their business. And each artist that gets their own coin has a token which holds the intrinsic value of their brand. And since they can only be traded against Tao on AltMarket each new artist coin adds to Tao's value.

So look for projects which have something real built on them and bring the real-world value over into the crypto world. I don't think it can work the other way around. Hope that makes sense.

Good choose altcoin for investing with ETH, XRP, LTC, BNB, EOS, and XLM because I think is the best altcoin assets for the future, you can invest only with altcoin above because top position coin marketcap and price always higher on the future, the altcoin above team look serious want to make coin become potential at the future and have higher price.

altcoins who have a future, of course altcoins who have high popularity in the community, this is not only about the huge amount of promotion that is done because it is still not guaranteed for the long term. so in this case when altcoins have a large demand then that's altcoins that will at least last for the long term or have a good future, and vice versa about altcoins that will die quickly

I cant say which altcoin already died. But there is a few altcoins that have a stable price and maybe have a bright future. Top 20 altcoins is a good choice to start investment. But i hope near future there are new project can compete with other.

First Bitcoin, why does BTC say that altcoin has a future? as is well known that bitcoin has undergone various cycles in its life as a digital currency, ranging from low prices to the highest prices that were all achieved by BTC within a period of time that is said not to be short, besides that BTC is one of the pioneers of digital currencies, strong community and the most important thing is that BTC will be more expensive with more people interested in BTC. The two are ETH and XLM / Stellar, indeed ETH and XLM are 2 very different types of crypto, but they were built on a strong community from the time of their birth as one of the crypto until now still strongly intertwined and even increased.

the answer is almost the same as your own question, I mean the dead altcoin criterion is like not having further price development, not having an increased trading volume and the project team not updating the product they have launched. for me good altcoin always has price developments and many users use it for investment and trade.

There is no stable price in crypto, even stable coin isnt stable too

Top 20 altcoins is a good choice to start investment.
The easiest way to know good coin is from top marketcap, but we must know that top marketcap doesnt guarantee that it would be good coin
you can see top alt in 2014 and 2017, it always changes by time

I think all of the popular altcoins in the market will have and stay in the market in the future.
We have a lot of altcoins in the market and most of them are dead coins and in my opinion they will never have its market price or value and only those that are popular altcoins in the market will stay and have its value in the market will stay and it is now depending on the investors of the token if the altcoins are going to down or raises its market value.

popularity can disappear instantly when coins cannot develop things more efficiently related to their project functions, most of these coins end up being delisted. Many popular coins eventually die like cartaxi. I have several times observed the coins that entered the top 100 and ended with a similar incident. Dev always has an important role in this matter.

the people who manage the project really need to be able to make good marketing methods, because if it's only a good platform without good marketing then there won't be many users in it. So, in my opinion, potential coins are those who are able to compete and can hear the users because both of them are important for financial circulation which makes the sustainability of the project and coins.

Yeah in this market there are lots of altcoins available and almost every year many of them or majority of them lost in nowhere or lose there value. It's hard to say they which one will lost for forever. But i can say that those who have great plan for future or good product or have a great vision will survive. And this kind of coins also give a huge amout of profit in upcoming days.

I would say exchange coins and staking coins. Exchange has utility and liquidity daily, price will always appreciate for these tokens unlike most utility tokens with no utility exchange tokens are backed by exchange activities and trades.

In my opinion if you ask about the future of any cryptocurrency, the future depends upon the overall condition of the market, I have experienced in the last 2 years in Digital currencies that when whole market faces recession every alt loses it's stability and drops down drastically even the blue chip alts suffer but yes when the market rises and huge capital injects into the economy Blue chip altcoins give significant amount of rise. I think the ETH, XRM, EOS and BNB. These alts have potential of further growth and giving desirable returns..

You know, I am having favorites on Binance and Binance DEX. And one of the most advanced solutions I am aware of these days - Verasity with their VRA token. By the way, they are now having incredibly high trading volume on Binance DEX, so they may be listed on Binance soom thanks to Binance Community Listing program, where community chooses best solutions

Right, it’s modern era so new coins are coming and going in the market but no one actually knows which coin will survive. According to my, new coins cannot replace the old one but they will surely compete and in the end, only Bitcoin will remain the king but if we talk about the future then bitcoin, ETH and ripple are the coins that going to have bright future forever.

An altcoin with unique use cases has a bright future! I think most of the payment based project will vanish soon or later, only those projects which have the problem-solving use cases like a problem in advertising, AI, Mass adoption, Social media, exchange with high security and unique technology like Harmony based altcoins will stay here! Though I am not sure, but it seems to be!

Any.altcoins that actually have real world case use. Many altcoins have been into the market and very few of these coins or tokens have no real world case used, becarefull of these coins with these tokens. Am not a fans of altcoins withouts real world use, many of them are scam project. Ethereum still be my favourite.

We all bet on alts we like, there's no other way to say it then betting, and we hope that alts we chose will be successful in the future.
The appearance of a coin will also affect the future of the coin itself. As shown by Ethereum. This luxurious and classy Ethereum display will be very fresh and up-to-date. This will trigger even more profits by owning Ethereum. Because with an attractive look will be many investors who come will greatly ignite the smoldering flames that evoke more profits. So it's great with having Ethereum capable of being the future of Altcoin.

Personally, I believe that at the moment, cryptocurrency is not very stable. Since in the crypto market the price of altcoins is practically in place. And in this it is very difficult to predict the further development of the crypt. From this situation on the market, I believe that the most promising coins in the future will be Ethereum and Bitcoin. So let's hope that these coins will bring us good profit.
Most altcoins outside the top of CMC have no value in the market today.  The market is experiencing a long and terrible bear market that makes it impossible for altcoins to grow under the control of BTC.  But I believe that the coins in the top will have their own plans and will soon bring them back to the market

I'm still going to have to go with this answer.  8)

I think the cryptos that will have a future are the ones in the top 50 in the crypto Market Cap and probably some of the cheap altcoins that really got an interesting project and strong coins. Personally, I just invested in some altcoins which are in the top 100 and I didn't get really an interesting profit the last year, so I'm hoping that this year, I'll get some profit from them.

This year is a very good year for you to choose to invest because surely the altcoin season can come back again and your chances of making a profit will be much higher than last year. I think investing in top 100 coins is a very safe option for investors but should only spend 30% of assets because altcoin still has a lot of great risks that you need to avoid.

Of course, holding Bitcoin should be a top priority because this coin can determine the upcoming trend of the crypto market and certainly you will not have to wait too long to make a profit.

Personally, I believe that at the moment it is difficult to say which altcoins will die or will please us with their successes. I believe that for each altcoin you need to make your own forecast and then the caritin will be a little clear. Now, a completely unclear situation is happening on the cryptocurrency market, and those altcoins that were on the verge of extinction are beginning to gradually develop. So you have to follow almost all altcoins to know where and when to invest.

New ideas are always welcome in the cryptocurrency market. But at the same time, many of the existing cryptocurrencies can be replaced with technologically superior alternatives. There are many domains, for which suitable coins are not available. For example, TRX was designed for sharing of digital content, but it is not being used for this purpose. So if a new cryptocurrency comes in to existence and proves that it is a better alternative, then it may be possible for it to replace TRX.

most of course altcoin which does not focus on development, especially for altcoin which is not derived from crowdfunding like ico and such is very prone to die especially if the dev is not serious, and the rest of course crowdfunding projects (ico, ieo, etc.) also have the potential especially for projects that force turning funds from softcap opinions and it turns out their plans are a little hampered due to lack of funds and there are other things too but mostly about exchange.

As speaking of their functionality - yes, it is needed, their potential is incredible.

Still, it is rather clear that as time goes by and global regulation standards will be introduced - privacy coins would be forced to move to the shadow. Already in Japan, no exchange can get a license if it has any privacy coin listed. Even in the UK, some exchanges are already delisting them or are forced to apply a much wider scope of verification of people buying them.

I agree with what you say, that the top coins that have a community will not die and will continue to last for a long time. And for me personally, the new coins today are the ones that will die because if we look at the market conditions in 2019 where the price of some coins decreases or can be said to be less profitable and of course for new coins it will be difficult to survive in the market and slowly will die.

but not all altcoin bad in utility, some of them have a great utility but the condition make the price get down.

i can't say name of altcoin, because each altcoin have a "unique way" to survive or dead, example Dogecoin, fogecoin created just for fun but still running right now.
if the developer still doing something, or give maintenance and solving the bug of coin, i think this coin will be survive and the reserve of it, if developer leave the project, the coin will be dead.

Indeed, investors pull out their money when they see that the ICO they have trusted shows no future. That being said, is the reason why many ICO and altcoins die. In that case, as a responsible investor, you must always conduct your research especially if ou are planning on investing on a token to minimise losses if not prevent. This will maximise the profits you'll be able to gain in the future

What do you want to do? Short-term trading or for long-term investment? My advice, if for a long-term investment, you can choose altcoin whose credibility is already clear in CoinmarketCap, seems to reduce the risk of loss. but before, you also have to research Altcoin that you want to buy first. If for short-term / daily trading, I usually choose high-volume altcoin that we can play quickly. Also choose a safe and trusted exchange. The current market situation is difficult to predict, so it would be good for you to be careful when trading or choosing Altcoin that you want to maintain for the long term.

The top altcoins which have a strong community will really survive while the new coins are not that much bad if they will strive for the survival. There are only a few factors required for the success of a coin but many developers do not know about that they do not list of bigger exchanges if they will list there and after that they work of the development of their project then their coin will get a good position.

so that I can understand when I see mixins, neo or eos or other.

altcoin which still has a good future is altcoin which has high liquidity, then the volume is still high, the supply circulation is high, it must have a good future, otherwise the coins will sink.

You do not need to invest with coins that have just finished the ICO / IEO period, because in my opinion it is too risky, You will lose your assets because usually the IEO / ICO token when entering the market, the price is often dump.
indeed many tokens that result from IEO or ICO are dumped but you have to know that not all coins will be like that, there are still some coins that can be successful, do you know the first time ethereum was formed also created by the existence of such bidding methods and could be expensive up to like this.

The market for Altcoins has been bad recently, and many Altcoins have died and lost a lot of money. What kind of Altcoins do you think will die?thanks for sharing
the title is misleading and the thread itself is joking. i dont even know what you are actually asking.

there are too many altcoins that will have future like ethereum, ripple and i would choose on those projects those are already finished their IEO because i think those projects have chance to actually have future later.

and also those will die are those shit coins from scammers and have no interest to the community such as all from yobit. it's automatically die once you list there.

Well, I don't get it? The op is different from the title, the title of the topic says what alternative coin will have a future, but the op says what alternative coin will die, I get confused there. But I will answer both just I case, I think there are many altcoins that are worthy and doing good performance ans enough for them to use, but if I have a favorite then I will choose ETH and XRP I think these two coins will be a great use in the future, I know there's more, but I choose those two as my opinion. Meanwhile, in the question of what altcoins will die well, I don't know there are many altcoins there, and I know many will also died because they are new and can't gain any popularity from the start.

If you want to invest in altcoin should certainly choose an altcoin that already has a potential because we can see the current market conditions many altcoins are dead and many investors are getting big losses, then before investing us Have to choose the top ten altcoins in the Marketcap and there you can choose which coins are suitable for trading if I prefer Ethereum, BNB and LTC because the coin is very confident the price will rise for the future, and you can also Choose another promising Altcoin.
Your investment options are very old, but I believe these coins can still increase in price if you choose to hold long-term because this year will be a very good year for you to do that. One way or another, profit is always the priority that you need to pay the most attention to when join this market. In addition, you also need new knowledge to survive as the bear market continues.

IMO, only those altcoins which are fundamentally different and technologically superior to Bitcoin are going to survive. Coins such as LTC and DOGE, which are just like copycats of Bitcoin are going to die out in the near future. On the other hand, I expect altcoins such as Monero, Cardano, EOS, Stellar Lumens and NEO to not just survive, but thrive in the future.

You mentioned that only some altcoins succeed after ICOs and IEOs, so I have no reason to choose such altcoins. because I don't believe that I will be lucky to be able to choose exactly altcoins have the future. Instead, my choices will focus on the classic altcoins, if I invest in the altcoin / usdt pair, I will choose the top altcoins when they sleep too long, and if I invest in altcoins that use bitcoin to invest, a comprehensive review of altcoins that have the foundation and reputation on an exchange is necessary when their future is always shown on their charts.

For now, do not fully invest directly in tokens / coins that have just entered the market or have just completed the IEO / ICO. It really has a high risk, now is not the era like etherum in the past. Now many projects don't develop so fast. Better to invest in the top altcoin only.

Coins in the top position in the CMC may be able to recover and continue to survive in bear market conditions. And for me personally it is better for now to invest in top coins than in new coins which slowly lose their value and only give us losses and coins that have security or real use that will have more potential to continue to survive and give us profits.

yes invest in coins has top ten levels in coinmarketcap is more safety than token or coins is new launched. and now many new coins or token slowly die its mean can not survive in the market, there is no value, there is no volume and the developer do not want to grow their coins
so you should to be carefull to choice the coins for future. BCH, DASH, XMR is look like good to hold for future

Yeah those coins that has high number of investors and supporters will get good future a coin must have number of investors and high demand in market. Right now best coin to invest your money is bitcoin because it has good future and it has high demand and remarkable liquidity so investing in bitcoin is best choice every coin needs this kind of features to be good in market.

I think there will be a major shakeup coming this year and the next with many current top mcap coins falling in price and hitherto tiny mcap coins -- mainly or only true cryptos, few or no tokens -- rising to the top tier. We shall see.

Good luck to you on those coins and I have to admit you chose some good profitable coins! BSV, BCH has a negative reputation but that doesn't mean those are not investing worthy! Rather BCH can give you more profit than Ethereum! Though I have no hope in Onion, but other coins are good to go! Good luck once again!

BSV, BCH prices performed well today. They were chosen because they felt profitable because they attracted the attention of many people. Onion is also the same as the current market value is low, the transaction volume is also very low, which is a performance near the bottom. At the same time they have a stable development team, many things are very transparent, deepsend anonymous technology has great innovation, I believe there is a bright future

Because they attracted the attention of many people. I think it's worth attending

EOS is a completely hyped project, and there is really no prospect to refer to BTS, STEEM

Cryptocurrencies are traded in different ways and they use a number of different algorithms.

The main characteristics that you must consider before purchasing or investing in cryptocurrencies are: retailer acceptance, verification method, and market capitalization and daily trading volume.
Keeping in view of above mentioned strategy coins like BAT,ETH,HOT,RVN,BNB,SIA has great prospects in future.

Check out the Top 20 on the market and do some research about those coin for you to be able to filter those coin that is promising or not.

The market for Altcoins has been bad recently, and many Altcoins have died and lost a lot of money. What kind of Altcoins do you think will die?thanks for sharing

Of course, popular coins will at least maintain their existence in cryptocurrency. because it's not easy to be the top coin. And of course, the development team will always update their products. so that the volume, investors, and traders will continue to invest their trust and capital there. because popular coins certainly have a real community to always support development

Do you still believe there is a good project right now? You are right team management matters alot if you want to invest your money in a project you should make research and find best one. When a coin remain under observation of good team and they work hard to keep its level high then it rises and shines so always invest in high potential coin and choose trust worthy project only, be with altcoins like bitcoin, ETH, Ripple they have high potential and makes investor get huge profit.

altcoin which has a large user, is widely used for trading and has a product that works well in the market then altcoin will survive and have the opportunity to raise its price when the market has improved. and vice versa, if altcoin does not have a product that does not function properly and does not have price development then that is the criterion for altcoin to die.

Today on the cryptocurrency market there are quite a lot of ready-made products that can be of very deep interest for society, for companies and for all kinds of areas, the use of cryptocurrency in everyday life of a person.  Nevertheless, I believe that only altcoins that investors will be interested in and which altcoins people will use in everyday life can show good results.  And here you are really right.  But I believe that in the current situation, when the competition is very big, everything will primarily depend on the team's ability to attract more attention to themselves and their project.

Top altcoins will be fine and you are right. But once anyone can make a new project and become altcoins or shitcoin there were always there and we dont have anything to do is just to avoid them. Top 100 altcoins for me are reasonable to invest but beyond that, it is extremely high risk and we dont know the consequences may happen.

yes, at least with good and right teamwork will have an impact on the growth of the project itself, therefore developers with a solid team will guarantee growth that at least has better potential, tangible products and price increases that is something that is indeed the focus the main for every project, but when the team can not do the right promotion, the impact will also not be good for project growth

I'm happy that many altcoin have died 😁 what we want left in crypto space are projects that are at least good and useful, bear market seem to be the doctor that can fix these bacteria call shitcoins, if you can invest in top altcoins you will be fine
We do not have to be happy if an altcoin die but we have to be happy if a coin which do not have any purpose or benefit to the blockchain and they die as in the previous year I saw a number of projects which were from the well known companies and one was from a university but the investors did not took the interest because of the market situation and they failed to acheve a targeted fund for these project I am sad that they failed in their projects. I wish that they relaunch their projects.

For me before I invest in any altcoin, first I check it's use case after that i check out for the team behind the project and follow the community to know more about it and it's road map then I can go ahead and invest, some of my picks are ethereum, litecoin, bch ,and trx, for long term though

Hello everyone. I would say that you mustn’t invest when someone just says solution is good. Evaluation is one of the most important processes and it requires complex analysis on every particular solution

Absolutely correct. Usually when you just follow as a result of recommendation, you regret afterwards. Some point I personally analyze, while getting recommendation from someone - practical value, roadmap, milestones met, team and its experience and so on

Most advanced? Hmm, must be Intelligent Hero. What I am impressed here - use cases and technology side. The intelligent Hero platform enables interactions between members of the community to enable them to share ideas and knowledge which cuts across various fields with each other and much more. Guys are now having ongoing IEO on ExMarkets that is in high demand, so have a look

Nope, it is only 0,2 USD and 60% discount, as I remember. Have a look at their IEO page on ExMarkets

For me, Altcoins that do have a future are those that can be able to adapt and survive into any circumstances or challenges being brought by the volatile market which makes them to evolve or improve their prices despite of the downfall and known for their credibility and reliability as a coin even the market is down. Once that Altcoin have surpass the challenge of a down fall market and continues to survive after it, for me it is an Altcoin that do have a future because it must not be easily downed for it has a high quality that makes people believe on it and rely on it added by people still continue to bring demand on purchasing it for they hope that the Altcoin have future to grow and improve in terms of price and every aspects needed to be considered.

The price of each coin is different. For example, the lowest onion price was about 0.13 usd. Today, the highest price is 0.3 USD.I think there are reasons why Onion is worth investing, these need you to discover

Successful projects should not raise funds from the community. Onion is the best example. Although the price is now low, it is worth learning by many development teams.

Agree with you, there will be someone who buys the future coin to maintain the price

I think altcoin is a new type that follows the features of existing projects, such as trying to update from the old project, in my opinion it will fail where the old one already has a large market and capitalization compared to the new one, so the new project will only be a rival that is not very meaningful.

Many altcoins died because they don't have a real usecase, their token is useless and their team are not hardworking enough to make some developments and partnerships regarding their project. Altcoins that have a bright future and we might see in the bull run are the one's who doesn't stop on developing their product no matter the condition of the market and their team is focused on making their ideas possible.

A large number of altcoins are copycats and the only intention behind their creation is to bring profits to the promoters. And therefore it doesn't surprise me that many of them died down. Good altcoins with practical usage are still being used in good numbers, and one example is that of Litecon. Despite the technological disadvantages, the development team has been working hard to remove the bugs and issues and the end result is for everyone to see.

The first question is, what sustains a business, project or platform? The answer to this, is what the project in question offers, that is to say if a project offers little to nothing the chances of survival will be greatly reduced; this is the fate of most coins which are now dead. Most altcoins today we're created out of hype and nothing more, they came with big whitepaper with no tangible thing to hold on to. So once they list and luckily make few moves on the exchanges they start dying off as there is nothing to sustain it. Some don't even get to exchange as the team will come up with many excuses to delay. So to answer your question, an altcoin that will survive or last long term is one which have something to offer to the world at large.

What I believe here - not just waiting matters, but more exploring. For example, talking about me, I am not just focusing on one or another new product, but choosing the industry and start exploring. So basically, with such an approach I can get deeper into the market. And these days there is a strong product on almost any market

You know, I would probably recommend you to proceed to their website, cause the idea is rather saturated and advanced. In few words, Threefold network is the biggest decentralized grid of self-managing Internet capacity in the world, being built collectively by an inclusive ecosystem and owned by everyone. In fact, all altcoins are hype. Alive altcoins have a large number of users and actual use scenarios. The other is the strong support of developers and the community

It should not be always a new altcoin but i just try to think if any altcoin has the same chance as long as it has a proper product and it will have very bright future. Altcoin must focus to developer utility token rather than issuing more and more security token to the market. This is a thing that useless.

You need to stay away from BSV as far as possible because this is a scam project. You will fail and lose money in the future if you choose to invest in it, it is better to invest in BNB and ETH. For me these are 2 altcoins much better than BSV and it will also help you to get a lot of profits

idk if its a real scam but bsv recently sky rocketed with over 100 percent pump  . i also heard alot of publication for this coin  . the op also invest on onion coin  , i think this coin is not better than bsv  imo because this coin recieve lots of bad reviews before  .  few exchange already remove onion   .

other than that , other coins that op hold are good  .  but the two that you said ( eth and bnb ) can also be included on the coins that are going to have a good future  .

By the altcoins with small market capitalization, i prefer to invest with xrp ripple coin. This coin has a potential even for a long term investment i think. Currently showing good performance in the market, and has a good fluctuation activity in the early of this year 2020. I think thia coin has a brigjt future.

You made the right decision for switching to bitcoin because this year the spotlight is on this primary coin due to the btc halving that is few months away.

They say it can trigger the price to increase just like what happened before though its still not a 100% guarantee.

Nevertheless diversifying is still a wise decision thus if you see a good coins that has potential then grab it.

I agree. It's just like you wanna invest a startup, founder and what they are doing is the most important thing. For example, theta and COS are really focus on building their product, sometimes the price may not reflect rapidly, but in the long run, it will.

For altcoins with small market value and active development team, you can consider investing

Yes, there is a time to consider altcoin with a small value in the market, but for now it's better to invest in altcoin that is already popular in the market first, because it can be more profitable and minimize our losses in investing.

By the altcoins with small market capitalization, i prefer to invest with xrp ripple coin. This coin has a potential even for a long term investment i think. Currently showing good performance in the market, and has a good fluctuation activity in the early of this year 2020. I think thia coin has a brigjt future.
you should learn a lot of information about this coin. If we talk about investing in this coin for a long time, then I think that this is a bad idea. Check the graphs of this coin and you will understand that it is better to buy it only for the middle-term and to sell it after the pump. volatility is very high

My latest and most advanced discovery is GET protocol. In few words, GET Protocol offers a blockchain-based smart ticketing solution that can be used by anybody who wants to sell tickets in an honest and transparent way. And just imagine how large market is and how solution can help here. Also, for example, GET team announced that they are moving into the Korean market. On top of that, GET Protocol will be the first BApp in the ticketing vertical to partner with Klaytn, the blockchain subsidiary of Kakao (look that name up if you don't know it..). And around 300k tickets are sold already via GET. This is the amazing example of real solution that brings real benefits. And I also recommend you to have a closer look at their website to have a better understanding

Thank you for your suggestions. I have selected a few altcoins for investment, BCH, BSV, ONION, DASH, XMR. There are also many altcoins with small market capitalization. I hope I can get lucky and bless you all to find the investment you like.

To answer your question; many altcoins are being created and many are being forgotten with a huge number dying everyday. The idea is simple, taking the funds to other altcoins that worth it; that is most investors gets involved with IEO for the propose of profit could be that they don't find it worthwhile, thus once profit is made they channel it to good coins which are worthy of holding in this way and gradually, most newer and worthless coins keeps dying while those with already developed and maintained plans keeps growing. Therefore I can say that only altcoins with good use case, good team, possibly active GitHub profile are worth holding.

It is important to evaluate the roadmap of every particular solution, I would say. Talking about me, my own favorite is ThreeFold Network. In few words, Threefold network is the biggest decentralized grid of self-managing Internet capacity in the world that is being built collectively by an inclusive ecosystem and owned by everyone. The mission is to expand the current Internet to all areas of the world and to allow everyone to use this Internet at a fraction of its current price

Because most times when it regards altcoins, it is better to have a sale target.

Do your always, and be sure to secure your wallet.

One of the most interesting I have found is Carnomaly. In few words, Carnomaly automotive rebate was created to allow consumers who purchase new and pre-owned vehicles the opportunity to save more money when purchasing from an authorized automotive dealership. Consumers who hold CARR tokens will be placed into tiers which will allow certain benefits based on tokens held. The more tokens held, the higher the tier, the better the rebate is. Consumers will be able to get a max of a 30% rebate. Of course, I also recommend you to have a closer look at their website to have a better understanding

I will like to share my thoughts xrp and the latest prediction according to Mr Peterson that xrp may never reach $1 talkless of getting to $10. I will like to share a different opinion about xrp different from his prediction. Over some period now, xrp has maintained been on the top of the altcoins chart. And it's price has been doing good lately, if you all remember Bitcoin too has its share of slow rise in price before it's suddenly goes up and ever since then, it has been going up with going down. A coin that started with $0.10 and presently with over $17,000 Us dollars. When you do the calculation, from 2009 till now, that's eleven years now. So I draw my thoughts from this base. And that make me think and know that xrp is also of the altcoins you can probably invest in to cash good money money later in future.

Indeed to choose some altcoins that will develop for the future is very difficult, then if choosing altcoins you have to first look at the altcoin movement if it is stable then the altcoin is very Good for us to invest in and some altcoins that you choose are pretty good and you also have to look at some other potential altcoins like XRP that you can add, it's time for altcoins to return to the highest number.
I think stable does not exist in altcoins, even the best altcoins or the most popular also had some tough days, just like ETH, it's trading at $600 already but one time it dump to $60, but since ETH is a solid project, it was able to recover and luckily those investors who bought at dip will enjoy now.

Choosing top 10 coins on Coinmarketcap will reduce risk of losing money to scams, but it's no guarantee for sure long term profit. When you wrote "others are just gambling", I guess not. Reason being that some coins in the past which were among top ten are no longer top ten, others replaced them and the cycle continues. Crypto investment generally involves risk, so choosing a few altcoins after proper research to invest in is not a bad idea entirely, just be cautious of risk management.

Bad coins and mostly tokens, bad coins that are been created for fun still exist in crypto space, they have no reason of existence, no real use cases, and tokens are the worst ones and a big victim of scammers, they are easier to build that's why scammers use them alot

Some of them just copy paste smart contract code and change the name and symbol. We need to research more about that, about the real use case and the team behind them. So we can avoid being scammed

I think that especially the new cryptocurrencies have the most possibility to die. Because there are too many options in the market now. The old ones are luckier because they are mostly preferred to use. But there is a very high competition between the new ones. If a new crypto wants to stay alive and continue to grow, it should be a really good project.

In my view only 2 types of alts will survive and thrive.
Ones with real advanced blockchain solutions that form the basics of what crypto and blockchain tech provides like eth, ada, trx etc.
Second ones are those that provide solutions to everyday problems and have support of large community of users like swissborg, nexo and dego etc.

The future belongs to the altcoins that have good market acceptance, trust and confidence of the community and un-paralleled support of investors and for that the project needs to be of high quality with out of the box utilities and solutions and it is not tough to find such alts, you can easily find them from top 50 to 100 cmc list.

I respectfully disagree. We are currently in the same part of the market cycle as late 2016. Later part of 2016 was a great time to buy cheap alts because people were ignoring them and/or dumping them because of Bitcoin.
I bought several low cap cryptos very cheaply in 2016 and they did very well when the real bull run began in 2017. I predict we'll see the same kind of results this cycle, too.

For me personally I accept that right now it is hard to say which altcoins will pass on or will satisfy us with their victories. I accept that for each altcoin you need to make your own estimate and afterward the caritin will be somewhat clear. Presently, a totally hazy circumstance is occurring on the crypto market, and those altcoins that were very nearly termination are starting to steadily create. So you need to follow practically all altcoins to know where and when to invest.

Most people follow this way, that is why top altcoins have more potential than other currencies. BTC and ETH are my best favorite coins that l prefer investing in. But l don't say that investing in other cryptocurrencies is just gambling, maybe there is more risk investing in them. But l believe that there are still some projects which have also potential to be among the best projects in the future. But that is right you should make hard research to find one of the best projects. There are a lot of projects, l think it is necessary to focus on the team of the project. Maybe we can find the best among them.

talking about altcoins, yeah altcoin is not just ETH, BNB, XRP, XLM or XTZ, but there are thousands of altcoins, if we think long ahead, do altcoins have a future? of course there is !, because every altcoin has a vision and mission, yes it all depends on the altcoin project, if the altcoin project is serious then the future of the coin will also develop in terms of price, if not then it will end, many have ended up like that, then be careful when choosing altcoins.

bottomline, alts with future are those with actual use case in the market. not only they have working app but look for active users of that particular app. are they satisfied with the services of that platform? is it gaining interest from the community? because remember, without use case, the project is basically going down the drain!
their application will sustain their market. and it will only grow if more users will utilise their network. without their users, would be hard for the platform to progress.
so better look for alts with active app in the market. not only the number of installs but satisfied customers.

So thats why we need to be careful of which altcoins that we need to buy or hold and we also study it first about the altcoins we choose, But there are some trusted altcoins even do one of them are old but its worth to hold for so long.

Yes, that's right, we need to check the purpose of that projects before investing our money there, if we think their doing something for long time purpose and their team are trusted and professional then, there's a big possibilities those projects will work  and we can earn there if we invest.
