It's named coin.conf and it's inside unzipped folder.

I think the most important thing is to build a good community that support Deucecoin and is willing to use the currency. To make Deucecoin to enter on a exchange should not be the priority.

Getting the coin listed in an exchanger isn't the highest priority on our list, as we are working to get the coin integrated in our poker client, working to get miners in to support the network, working to find people to create the wallets needed for support from every device (as we just launched the Mac OS wallet) and find game operators to accept the coin so players can play with it. Although getting listed in exchangers isn't the top priority now, it just takes a few emails to take care of this and I see no reason why not to do so.

This coin is backed by a real existing online poker room (Satoshi Poker). The poker software is great (100x better than other well known btc poker rooms) and they have freerolls every hour. What more could a investor ask for?

The only thing I don't like is the wallet logo. I mean it only cost $5 to pay a cheap designer on fiverr to make a halfway decent logo.

My opinión:i have been mining deuce coin And i think this is going to be another pkr coin. No worth for this coin . Its thrue that behind deuce there is a poker room already working , but .... How many people is using satoshi poker?? 15? 20? 30?? Dont see enough traffic to get worth their coin.

Just small update: the dev team is working on the project, but I am kinda held up by visa complications, which should be fixed in the next 24h. Mac Wallet is fixed and working, but I won't post it until I can access the coins to pay the developper. Should be online this evening (bangkok timezone).

On internetarena pool, at the begining had more than 100MH......right now....7Mh.......I think flight indicates that miners do not trust deucecoin.....

While I would not call it a ninja launch, there was a quick decision to do this coin and those paying attention to PKR's demise were in good position to mine this. Fact is, most people checked out of the PKR thread before this was announced. It would seem that as long as Satoshi Poker is not afraid to enlist help on things like improving the wallet, etc., than this coin will catch on. This is one of the few coins that is being developed by a senior member with an established website and infrastructure to make the coin useful. If anything I would trust this coin more than the next 99 of them. I am gonna keep mining this one for a while.

I just left that pool because I saw a miner in there with over 100,000khs in there.
guess the multis are on this already. or someone rented a farm for a day!
we all know those millions and millions of coins will be dumped onto exchange ASAP and will destroy this coins valuve.
I understand its a ugly part of cryptos and cannot be prevented.

but here is my point, if every pool capped khs at I dunno maybe lets say 20k than big miners could still mine but multis couldn't.
that could stop the multis dead in there tracks no?   just guessing!

multis have figured out kgw and mine the easy blocks and large payout blocks and than ditch, which leaves a coin with high diff and low payoff for the regular miners.
than come back later when kgw lowers diff again or another large payout block is in que and REPEAT!. so eventually that will happen to this coin as well.
Digibyte is the only coin who has recognized this and just implemented a new code to prevent this. and they gave the code to dogecoin who I believe has just implemented it as well.
aside from them most coins are being ass raped from multi pools. look at what they did to ronpaulcoin! took it from 30.00 a coin to 50 cents in 2 months, go read there forum!!!
I understand its part of the crypto sceen, but it is frustrating as well.
1. we already have to deal with a saturated market with 20 new coins created every week.
2. now we have to have multi pools mining and dumping the coins at whatever price they can get each day.
3. multi pools sell at crack head prices. every day!
so when I see khs over 100,000 in a pool, it just frustrates me because I know whats up! I see millions of coins being set up to be sold on the first exchange for any crack head price they can get.
for those who don't get it, how can your coin go up in value when there are guys selling millions every day at anything they can get.. 1 sat or 1 lat .
its ALMOST impossible to have a coin rise with this going on.. multi pools are the cancer of crypto currency!

I played on Sealswithclubs when alot of people was 25 online at once, just saying it takes time to build traffic and my limited experience with satoshipoker has been positive thusfar.

Pkr coin DEv`s started same way.....many plans.....many projects.......dreams.....they were always very busy because were working very hard on de development of his coin......and all of the sudden....from one day to the next.....they dissapeared....never answered any message, private neither on the forum.

And with deucecoin will happen the same. believe me.....waste of time!!!   at the end you will give me the reason.

We are not only launching this coin. We are also launching the Satoshi Poker Network, which will mean others can start their room on our backend with shared player pools. If we can manage to have 5-10 extra local rooms running, each by different owners with their own marketing efforts, it will be a matter of time before SP becomes a serious force to be reckoned with.

The traffic is low during the down hours, but during peak hours we usually have some juicy cash games going.

I agree with both. I have a lot of work to do, and people are itching to play with their coins. This will also bring traffic. Just watching the client for a few hours is not enough to base your opinion upon. In online poker, every day is different, hence the difference in tournament schedule and there are multiple 0, down, semi-peak and peak hours during the day. Compare 6 hours during sunday eve with 6 hours from monday 7AM-1PM and you will see two entire different sites, while it is in the same 24h timespan...

I think it is morally wrong to set up a farm that gets most of the coins. It does provide some short term stability but we would basically become a new central bank with possibilities to influence the currency and that is exactly what every sane coin should fight. If multipools are around and if they wish to dump the coin as soon as it makes some value, they are making a mistake in my opinion and providing the market with cheap coins. For the people that have seen me run SP for over a year now: I don't give up and I won't base my decision to move on based on the value of this coin but I will move on based on my vision. 9 months ago people were betting if Satoshi Poker would last another month. Now we are here trying to get a new standard into crypto currency based poker, and trying to launch our network...

However, I might be willing to provide some bitcoins to buy Deuce in case any multipools decide to dump. But I won't ever take such measures without setting up a vote first

The people here that I already have on facebook/skype know that after clearing some visa issues my girlfriend had a miscarriage and have been spending my time in a remote border town at the Thai/Cambodian border with no internet resources, and then had to attend a shitload of Buddhist rituals which I didn't understand but had to follow. This doesn't stop DeuceCoin however, just as any issues of not being available for a couple of days ever stopped SP.

If you are in this for the quick pump and dump than this coin is not for you. This coin is not just another coin with fancy name where you can mine millions and hope it moves to $0.10. This is a coin with vision and perspective. I will prove you wrong once the first clients will launch on Satoshi Poker Network and when you see what will happen just the coming week in terms of development.

I know this is a space in which you are boom or bust within a few days and I respect your decision, but that boom/bust scenario only goes for the people who get in to get out 2 weeks later with some profit and move on. This coin is not for people with this vision. Comparing us to PKR is just silly. This whole coin was created because they didn't have their things in place, and when we started we were already ahead. Just by the way they conduct their business.

Now that is an interesting subject for thought. Not the ASIC or SCIFI, but the greed that kills most crypto's:
Look at how long it took before BTC seriously took off. Sure, for a quick buck some other coins can be nice in a pump and dump. This can happen to any coin. The real issue is the entire community walking away from a coin after the dump and with most of the coins having no real value and no real vision behind it except for a decent story to generate the jump in the first place, the coin dies. We think to have an answer to this situation, but I decided to delete it from this post and make a new post about it

Some thoughts regarding the future of this economy (coin)

I intentionally wrote economy (coin) instead of coin, as a coin is just a name to measure the value of a certain economy devided by the amount of units of its total supply. The reason so many coins rise and fall is because of the speculative value of the coins but not because of their fair representation as share of the economy that uses that coin. In fact, most of the coins don't have a real economy, spendability or any safeguards against just being abandonned. The coins are led by people who have a single objective: maximum rewards for minimum effort. Notice how this board is filled with all type of suggestions, each different on number of blocks and way the coins get distributed. However, none of these coins have a system in place that backs the currency or gives it real base value.

Satoshi Poker's role in starting the economy

Spendability
In order for the DeuceCoin economy to succeed and grow, SP will keep pushing these coins and SP will always force any client on the network which we are building to accept the coin to ensure spendability of the coin. We are soon to announce our first client(s) on the network with in that case multiple people marketing while sharing the player's pool. Also the coins already in existance can (for now) only be used on this network, creating a spike in traffic and thus value of the coin among poker players. This will both ensure spendability of the coin, and except for supply also create demand by poker players who want to play these games.

Creating a base value
Besides just offering games in this coin, we are working to set up multiple systems which gives base value to the coin to be able to counter a pump and dump and guaranteeing a base minimum on it. At Satoshi Poker we currently have Cash Game Points, which is basically a VIP point system. One CGP represents 1 chip in rake (1btc/10k). We will set up a system in which players can exchange their CGP for DeuceCoin and use Deuce to buy bonusses, tournament tickets and merchandise in DeuceCoin. However, the tournament tickets that will be offered, will also contain entrance to BTC tournaments. At first this will be a cost for Satoshi Poker, as it has to provide the bitcoins for the prize pool, but when a poker tournament of max 100 players compete for a 1BTC prize pool, who all paid 1DEUCE for entrance, with guarantee that this tournament will be held daily/weekly it creates value for the coin as its value will be equal to 0.01BTC to any poker player. This is just an example of the possibilities to lock coin value when it is running in a poker client.

Amount of people contributing to the economy
As a poker site, supporting growth of a coin that offers its base value not just in trust from the community but interrelated with other cryptocurrencies (just as the global fiat community works) creates a more stable environment for the economy to grow in. When some multipools decide to dump their coins as soon as listed on an exchanger, the poker players that know what we are working on will buy up this coins. I mean, if they can buy it for 0.0000001BTC at cryptsy, knowing that we will start promotions which safelocks the coin at 0.01BTC they would be crazy not to buy a shitload of coins. And guess where they will spend the coins in the mean time? My skype, facebook and gmail have exploded with the number of people who are following this coin because they see value in it as poker player, not just as MPD (miner, pool or dev). In the end the MPD's are the mills, and thus far the competitive mills have failed to create a market. Economy consists of supply and demand, but demand from the creators and technically supporters of a coin is nothing compared to the demand from 1000 players playing daily with the coin on a poker site, who backs the value of the coin in BTC. That will ensure that the people contributing to the economy are not only the people who support the growth of the coin, but also the people who use it just to play the games they want to play.

When sitting in the 2 hospitals (Aranyaprathet hospital at Thai/Cambo border, and then Satuk hospital close to my gf's home) I have had a few days without any real access to internet while seeing my girl having her miscarriage. As she was asleep most of this period, whether natural or narcosis, I was sitting on the floor next to her bed with plenty of time to step out of the entire project and analyse it from a 3rd person's point of view. Here I began to form an idea which has not left my mind from the moment it got into it. Most coins try to get on an exchanger as soon as possible to ensure the coin can be exchanged for either bitcoins or litecoins. However, this brings with it the problem of multipools cashing out and destroying the value of the currency. Any serious currency must have possibilities for cashout to either BTC, LTC or Fiat, but it is a fundamental need for DEUCE, because serious poker players don't like to play in a currency that can't end up in their bank accounts and poker players are the bare base of this economy at its start.

My first thought was: f**k getting into any exchanger and lets build up the value within the SP system itself. On second thought, no economy (coin) can survive without either being locked into other economies (like most fiat and LTC), have too many people who invested in it (BTC) or a community depending on it for purchasing their base essentials (closed economies like for example Cuba or North Korea). As we don't have the foundation of a community depending on the coin and we don't have the amount of money invested as BTC, we are forced to have the DEUCE economy locked into other economies. Conclusion: DEUCE has to get listed on an exhange. Considering the need for poker players to cash out and have a minimum security that their funds are safe, and to secure the safety of the coin at exchanges, DEUCE only has one option: It has to get listed on Cryptsy and further analyse the other exchanges to make sure they offer a stable market with enough volume and enough trust by the community to get listed. I am working on that end.

However, with listing on an exchange comes also the risk of dumping by multipools as mentioned by other members here. I would have the option as SP to buy up these amounts to keep the price stable and distribute them back to the main community (poker players) in a stable way. However, I have a second, way more out-of-the-box option, by locking the price at a certain rate against bitcoin (see creating base value above), which would get the poker community to jump on the coins in case pools try to dump. In that case a healthy market of supply and demand is generated. Any breakeven poker player would jump into exhanges buying a coin for 0.0001 BTC when he knows it has a buyin value of 0.01 for recurring poker tournaments which are paid out in a currency that allows him to get the winnings on his bank account within at most a few hours.

Conclusion: DEUCE will be listed on Cryptsy soon and we are working with BitJohn towards getting it listed, but before it is listed and announced, we will make a guarantee towards it's relative price to bitcoin for games in our Room/Network.

Conclusion
For the people that dropped comments like 'dev has been away for 72 days, I am moving on' I suggest you do so and hope you will prosper in what you do. The people in here that are educated in the fundamentals of economics know that an economy isnt built in 72 hours. I have started DeuceCoin because I believe in it and because I believe Satoshi Poker gives it the ultimate possibilities and perspective to make it a coin to be reckoned with. If it was just for the fact that the coin was built buy somebody who actually does give a f**k and has a vision. You might not agree with that vision, but a project led by a vision will outgrow any project that just focusses on short term profits.

What has happened with deuce pool? Yesterday more than 150Mh mining And now Just 1Mh mining ??? Payments from deuce internetarena pool are not working since last night.

The 180mhs guy mined for a little then he is gone.

You should keep mining till block 10080, the difficulty is recalculated not by the hashrate when the block is hit, but on how long it took for those 2016 blocks to be resolved.

oke dint knew that, I stopped mining because the diff went over 10+, don't wane hit 10.080 whit it (a pre calculated 10+ diff :P.)

thought it was calculated by hashes not buy time.

still mining it btw but only whit 10 mhs`s to be sure its not gone be 10+ diff

it was 300 mhs that's why the estimated diff popped to 10+ while I was cleaning the crappy 3.5/4 diff where on the last few days.

so I pulled out 290 mhs on block 10.000 and left 10 mhs for the next 80 block so the diff can drop from the estimated 10+ diff.

To 1 diff now on block 10.040. so I guess the real diff on block 10.080 would be around 0.5.

as I said it took me 1.50 BTC to clean this mess (rented miners to get these mhs).

What is the point that the difficulty is under 1? This currency is not going to any place, will never be in any exchange because nobody believes in it. Satoshi poker is a desert, just 2 or 3 people playing. Someone still believes they will implement Deucecoin in this ruinous  page?  Wake up!! you are wasting your time!

I'm not sure what the problem was with my wallet not syncing but today it loaded perfectly fine. It most definitely was stuck @ 14hours remaining for the entire time the wallet was open though.
