as we can see if the price of Binance has risen very high for now and even all the coin that use Binance smart chain have also increased very high and of course gas fees from Binance are very low compared to Ethereum, so there is a possibility that in the future there will be many projects using blockchain from Binance and that is an opportunity for Binance to replace Ethereum (become the king of all altcoin).

so do you agree with me if Binance will be the next Ethereum? or are you thinking of anything else?

As long as the reputation of Binance (exchanges) is good and still become the top exchanges of Centralized exchanges, Binance coin could replace Ethereum.
But we can't deny the fact if Centralized exhanges always have been targeted of hacker and each year there at least 1 exchanges will be hacked, Binance ever got hacked once on 2019.

So, be aware if Binance will get hacked in the future... the coin value will got affected too.

Binance has a great opportunity to take over large investors from Ethereum to Binance for an exchange. So as long as Ethereum GAS costs are still like they are now even insane, then don't be surprised that there will be massive aggression going on. The fact is that we feel comfortable when exchanging with BNB, besides that we are no longer dependent on Ethereum GAS. Let's wait for what strategy Vitalik will launch when we see the data on the decline that occurred this year, I prefer to call it an Ethereum loan shark.

Why not! the coin has great utility, everyone seem to be in favor of it great features which many people seem to be enjoying and recently we have the binancesmartchain that will be useful for upcoming devs especially in times when the eth network is driving people crazy with high gas fees, eth has given bsc an opportunity even cz has acknowledge that.

If Ethereum can't fix it's problem with the high fees BNB will surely replace it as Projects based on Binance Chain will get lower fees and project managers and people will always want lower fees. There are also more and more projects now that are base on Binance Chain and if these continues BNB price will surely increase in no time.

I'm not betting for it to happen (still) but it is true that the progression of the BNB in the last days and weeks is remarkable.

Maybe in the future I'll sell my ETH and FOMO buy BNB, but not right now, when Ethereum is re-testing the 2K. This may be not the most intelligent decision, but let's see :P

Same thought here, but since BSC already use PoA mechanism instead of PoW i dont think the fee will be as wild as Ethereum.

Most of DEX and token has been move out to Binance Chain or TRX, because cheaper than ETH for the transaction and now almost major coin was also avaible on a different chain like Binance & TRX.

Imagine, when you doing a trade paid the fee 30-50$/TX for exchanging your token/coin on DEX exchange.

I agree if someday BNB will overthrone ETH at CMC Ranked. But, i'm a little bit sceptical if the meaning of it was BNB Price over ETH Price since How to get ETH is more painful and costful than BNB (Mining Process) which trigger ETH Price to rising like now (Like Bitcoin do).

Hard feat but as I am seeing it now, it's not impossible. It really pains me to see Ethereum become unusable for me. I don't think I'll be using Ethereum for a while until they fix the issue with the fee and I know a lot of people will probably do the same so Binance is a good alternative when Ethereum is a pain to use right now.

Though it's the community that will still drive the top altcoins. If somehow loyal Ethereum users got sick of using Ethereum, then Binance might have a chance.

Not what many had expected though. There used to be threads like Polkadot the next ETH or Cardano, it's what users could come up with whenever there is a new token that beats the top ones.

I have no idea how many ERC20 tokens are migrating to BEP20 but i have not seen any significant token that tried on BEP. It could be that investors are buying BNB all because they trade on Binance and it's all for low fees than UNI.

For that to happen, majority of projects will have to switch to Binance Main Smart Chain, so far though there are a lot of projects running on it and there could be more assuming that Ethereum's scalability are not going to be solved in the future.

But I wouldn't say it will be the next Ethereum, they can compete which each other, thus this will be good for the ecosystem. But Ethereum are going to stay and can't be replace.

Indeed Binance is having quite of a good performance at this moment, catching the eyes of many investors on its high rate of market price increase. But I guess that won't be enough to be the next ethereum and I guess that's no one's expectations. Ethereum is a "established" cryptocurrency in this industry wherein it is being used to most of the transactions involving cryptos which is its bigger advantage over other alts. Rate of increase won't be enough as a bottomline, unless if it is for investment purposes, especially short term. But, I won't disregard the possibility for Binance to be a bigger crypto in the future seeing its potential.

BNB coin is always a matter of the Binance exchange and so far, they are doing great as of now. 

Another factor is the fees, if Ethereum will not be able to lower their fees, it might be BNB will next to the Ethereum or either in Bitcoin.  Traders now are usually prepared on BNB coin in trading pair because it has low fees compared to both Ethereum and Bitcoin.

To what you have ax-ray from your point of view, Binance coin could as a matter of fact be the one to dethrone the said Ethereum if there's nothing be done to Ether gas. The gas fees for Ethereum transactions are very huge compare to that which the Binance chain has brought, so, people tend to move their project from Ethereum to Binance chain becasue of the gas fee problem. Maybe the Ethereum -2.0 will handle this issue as we await the project team update of the Ethr-2.0

Binance gave the best trading platform for very cheap cost and now they are getting the reap for their investment, today BNB replaced USDT and ranked at number 3 in the market cap which is too good for the holders. But it can be the replacement for ethereum possible in the short term due to insane fee on the ethereum network.

Ethereum marketcap is more larger than Binance so it will never beat the ETH. Majority of the investors are recently concentrate the Binance so it make huge growth on recent days and we are always hold some ETH on forever long term investment so it will maintain a same range on further years. I hope we never shift on ETH to BNB.

Obviously binance has great future as it is one of the most dominating projects in crypto sphere but i do not think that there is need to create unnecessary rivalry among different projects all of them are holding their own place.

Although Binance is gaining a lot of popularity these days because its impossible for the small traders to do transactions at the uniswap and other decentralized platform because of high fee. But remember that binance is a centralized platform so there is always a risk if you hold too much bnb.

I don't understand why we keep on thinking that binance smart chain will replace Ethereum or Polkado is a eth killer. These statements does not look professional. I think all these platforms like binance smart chain, ehtereum, polkadot, ada will co exists and we will find many projects built on these platforms.

We should all be glad to see competiton instead of being lock with only one option. With those moves from binance chain most likely developers will start moving if they'll advantages using different chain, as most of them still patronizing ETH. With current gas fees

I woke up to bnb at $320+ which is insanely high, still can't believe I didn't bag any bnb when it was at $18 last year, i think one of the few reasons why it's pumping insanely is because it is owned by the biggest crypto exchange market binance, also with the issues alot of investors are finding in Ethereum transaction fees becoming too high whereas on Binance Smart Chain the transaction fee is less, this has made so many projects along with the investors move from the Ethereum blockchain to binance smart chain, Ethereum team needs to solve this high gas fees issue else bnb will just take its place.

I am sure you mean Binance coin aka BNB not centralised exchange Binance, the price of BNB is going to higher than $340 according to the coinmarketcap statistics. The price of BNB is still low considering the high demand by the market investors after the BTC total marketcap has gone above 1 trillion marketcap. Somehow I have the same thoughts that Binance could possibly be the next Ethereum, particularly for DeFi environment since there lots of new projects launched and some of them start to move on Binance smart chain lately.

That's the main reason why binance coin is gaining so much traction from the market. People didn't wanna a lot of their money to pay the miners on ethereum. This problem caused by the miners that rejected the latest EIP that being introduced by ethereum core developers. If this is always happening and that will be a big problem for ethereum.

I don't think that Binance smart chain is the next Ethereum but it is a new revolution in the cryptosystem. With the big reputation of Binance exchange, Binance smart chain can be bigger than Ethereum itself. We know that Binance is the main target of all crypto projects to list their tokens. If Binance provides Binance smart chain with lower fees, all crypto developers surely prefer to choose Binance smart chain as their best option for now. BNB and ETH are not bad investments, but the reason why BNB is experiencing a high rise is because users from the ethereum platform are moving to Binance, yes, because of the high transfer fees, if ethereum doesn't address that, I'm sure Binance will overtake Ethereum in second place. .

When Binance hasn't been increased by this much, the only competitors of Ethereum are Cardano, Polkadot and others. Now they included it because of its price increase :D.

When it comes to DeFi, Ethereum has been the first one to introduce it to us but Binance duplicated it. The only problem right now with Ethereum is the gas fees which Binance shines with because of its low fees. When EIP1559 will be released and when the TX fees of Ethereum go down, new projects will come again in the Ethereum Blockchain. Its just that the fees of it are very high that is why they prefer BSC.

Looking at the current price movement of BNB in the crypto market, it is highly likely that Binance will become the next Ethereum. Especially now that Binance has designed a BSC that runs on a high-performance layer to ensure a fast and smooth user experience. That might give Binance an edge over Ethereum. I don't know if binance could be the next ethereum or not? but based on the current market situation, Binance has attracted a large market investment, in one week Binance can pump more than + 135% and this increase is completely unexpected. on the other hand Binance also has top platforms and smart contract platforms like erc20. Compatible for what? that sounds very strange for me to hear that dude. Did you see that there are some major platforms that used ethereum tokenization that has been starting to consider migrating their tokens to the BSC platforms due to the high fees? This could be a serious problem as these platforms have thousands of users and that was giving a lot of contribution to the ethereum network.
Binance will always become a competitor for ethereum. CZ aimed to expand the domination of binance.

Demands are getting higher because of the freebies from staking.
But, it won't be long before this goes slower.
Low transaction fee might be the next answer for this to continue.

Since eth crossed $1000 I think small investors have already stopped using it for transactions, cause they can't afford the high gas fees any more, I think sooner or later large investors will follow them cause they will eventually get tired of using DEX's that run on Ethereum Network, recently I have seen some projects that run on eth blockchain like "Ren" moving over to BSC, if the ETH 2.0 isn't launched soon bnb might flip Ethereum.

I think its quickly becoming new Ethereum already very quickly. Every other day I wake up to new projects launching on Binance Smart Chain. Its fees are very low and its so quick blockchain. I mean there are literally no problems, no headaches I regularly had with Ethereum. I think we may safely bet BNB market cap will hit #2 in coinmarketcap in couple of months. All these DeFi projects which people making money are Binance chain and you need more BNB to feed those farms. Oh there are launchpad projects too that you need BNB to join. Everything feels great with BNB.

Well, in my personal opinion, I think Ethereum had a lot of fight to fight to continue to stay on top as the king of altcoins, else, binance is likely to take that title from her, the number one reason binance is gaining ground so much is because of the high transaction fees on Ethereum network and binance has the lower transaction cost so most projects now are flocking to binance chain, even some good projects that have been on Ethereum blockchain for years are now migrating to binance chain because of its low transactions fees compare to Ethereum, Ethereum should better stand up else, binance is likely to take over.

Binance coin is a good investment but for me, it's not going to surpass Ethereum or even bitcoin. As an exchange coin, I think the coin will just depend on the exchange Binance. After the ETH 2.0 im expecting the ETH to skyrocket its market price in the market so I think Binance will have no chance to catch up will that. Binance exchange is doing a good job and climbing to be in the top exchanges and they just burn a lot of the token supply bumping the market price of Binance up. There's no grounds for comparison of ETH with any other alts because what goes on in ETH as gas fees is pure extortion. Honestly, ETH pisses me off now with all that. There's a swap I have been meaning to do for the past week on ERC but the gas fee is crazy and that has kept the project hanging. This night I did a swap on Binance Smart Chain (BSC) and it went like the speed of light with a minimal charge. I think other smart contracts should make themselves attractive at this time to projects so that ETH and all its extortions will be put to rest finally.

My answer is going to be in two ways, and the first is that, Binance could actually become the king of all altcoins if the high gas fee in eth is not regulated on time. The gas fee is so high that people are already looking for an alternative.And if Binance could solve this issue and allow other coin to use their blockchain, that will automatically dethroned ETH. And it will have a positive effects on the Binance Exchange. Which could make it's price to go up so high. And it's just a matter of time, it can surpass ETH in no time. The second part, is that ETH is very popular and it will take an extra job from any coin to come close to it, but this is not an impossible thing to happen. If Binance Smart Chain continues to attract more and more people and projects to use the services of their technology, there is a real chance that Binance will displace Ethereum in my opinion.

They are doing quite well in developing their project.

Only this point can't make Binance a top blockchain. I never thought that any coin could be replaced with Ethereum until this time. Until ETH 2.0 full results, we can't justify both blockchain. Tron transaction cost is much lower than Ethereum since we got Tron blockchain still ETH now, Ethereum is the second one. We know that Ripple surpasses the ETH market, but now Ripple is in 7th position. Binance blockchain could take the test of second position but can't be replaced.

So from the above article, it mentions about the optimization of gas efficiencies.Which means, maybe we will finally see the reduction of gas fees. So we still need to wait about a couple of months before we see such development in eth network.

it certain that will Never will we see binance create or replace ethereum. also note that binance can never achieve the same road map and success recorded by ethereum. the question has been answered several times. will a slave outshine his master? maybe but binance will never replace ethereum smart contract. not by liquidity or marketcap.

If you look at the performance of BNB in the last few days, it is indeed surprising and convinced me that BNB has the potential to go even higher.
But to be able to replace Ethereum is still impossible in my opinion, because of the high popularity of Ethereum. Although the Binance Smart Chain is

But Binance Smart Chain needs to put in some promotion and hard work to attract lots of investors. Actually it is still too early to conclude that BNB

Binance tokens or called BNB have a large capital market, with the support of large exchanges such as Binance, this could be one of the potentials for binance to become the next ethereum. Binance coin shows a very promising run only within the first two months of this year by pumping its value hugely. I think that if the developer of this continue to innovate and make development and enhancement on its blockchain, it can surpass and out performed ETH in the long run especialy if ethereum developers will not fix several issues that they are having right now.

Unless something dramatic and big can happen to affect the viability of Binance in its business and its blockchain network, I think there is really that possibility that BNB is going to go after the leadership of Ethereum in the world of altcoins. We have to admit that Ethereum remains to be bogged down by excruciating and unbelievable transaction fees for a cryptocurrency platform, something that is actually not so acceptable especially to small players just like me. Let this then be the biggest challenge to the people behind Ethereum...shape up or start facing the inundation from BNB, not to mention that Cardano, Dot are also coming up to challenge the overall leadership in altcoins.

They come with good technology and a good investment. Every investor, big or small, can take advantage of these opportunities. So I think its popularity will increase for a long time.

Maybe Binance will be the next ethereum if have lower fees transaction and ethereum keep stable with higher fees for sending coin, many trader like using BNB have lower fees and sending without delay. But if you use ethereum you have ready with failed and your fund loss if using little lower fees transaction, but now I like with BNB coin because many people will move to BNB coin and keep profitable for the future.

It depends, the more Binance gets recognition the more it becomes vulnerable to hacks and errors so we can't really say anything about replacing which because the world is a scary place and your happiness today might become your biggest fear tomorrow.

I think it makes no sense to compare the hacking of exchanges with the blockchain. Centralized exchanges are really at risk, but still, if you look at the whole picture, no exchange (even centralized or decentralized) is 100% protected from hacking

Agree,  In fact, Binance is just trying to create an impetus to compete with the Hot defi product with the renovated BSC compared to ETH.  Gas charges will not be an obstacle to the potential that EThereum 2.0 offers.
 Personally, I rate the potential of Dot, ADA higher, although the blooming of BNB is surpassing, I cannot guarantee.  It is similar to XRP which has surpassed ETH 2 times but also had similar results.

It's too early to tell, we'll see that when the Ethereum 2.0 launch, right now there's a lot of complaints on Ethereum's transaction so people are now looking it negatively and looking for a good alternative, Ethereum still the same still going up and it's too hard to tell if Binance is a new replacement for Ethereum because it's not weakening.

There is that argument that is going on right now that if Binance and BNB is performing or providing same services like the Ethereum even with much lower fees, why shouldn't the price of BNB just as high as that of Ether? I believe this will be a matter of time as we can see how quick the price of BNB is rising and I know or want to believe most projects will also be looking at migrating to the Binance Chain network to take advantage of this low transaction fee. Others know that Bnb's gas fee is really lower than Ethereum so many users use bnb transactions but for my opinion if bnb can replace ethereum in coinmarket my answer depends on it because no matter how high the gas fee of ethereum there are still many consumers and users of it one of them is the ethereum miners due to the very high price no ethereum now ethereum miner is also increasing so it just depends on the project if more bnb can be proven and can which is even more helpful to people with the possibility that bnb can replace ethereum in coinmarket.

We are just tired of Ethereum gas fee and transaction speed. Ethereum network has now high transaction fee with very slow transaction. It takes sometime 24 hours or more to complete a transaction.
On the other hand Binance network is very fast and transaction fee is very low. So the popularity of Binance is increasing everyday. The value of BNB coins has doubled in the last few days.
We really need an alternative to Ethereum now. And I think Binance is the best option to replace Ethereum.

Are u a developer and have you heard from developers using the Binance chain? The gas fee still look attractive but according some assessment I read, it could be describe as hardfork of ethereum and it is only providing a temporary solution. Binance is smart enough to promote the chain in times like this when ethereum users are frustrated about the high gas fee but we dont know as some know the defects of the binance chain.

Thanks for the concern, but I don't think Binance will allow future hacks as they have been hacked once. Only fools can be hacked twice or multiple times and still not incorporate a full security that will protect their system.

Hacks in the system of binance before tarnish their reputations, so I don't think they will let it happen for another time.

There is a small possibility in the near future but it will depend on the interests of large institutions and in my opinion and analysis we can see that the great increase in market values derives from the strength of this variable. So today we do not see any major interest in decentralized projects and it's worth remembering that ethereum is the largest in the world and has enough funds to leverage ETH prices.

Many project competing with ethereum and aiming to be the next one. At this early stage we can't say if BNB is the next ethereum even watching its improvement in this industry. We cannot deny that some are adopting this platform because of the fees. Still a lot of the things can happen and can be change that also depends on the majority of the users.

talking about the binance chain, it's already started. many new projects have sprung up using the BinanceSmartChain. but this does not mean that all Erc20 token holders or Erc20 project developers stop here and the high transaction fees on the ethereum platform at this time, will not affect developers to stop using this platform again, including ethereum investors.

That is right BNB has taken a great position and it seems BNB will keep staying in this place for a long time. BNB and ETH are reliable and profitable altcoins for me, that is why they have always made happy their investors. I think it's hard to compare both of them. I know they work in the same space but still they have some differences. Ethereum is the biggest platformm based token with huge community and dev base. And ethereum is fully decentralised. In other hand bnb is not just exchange base token now and now binance smart chain is highly popular now. But it's not fully decentralised. But it's also perform well. But it's hard to take ethereum place.

Well, I don't think so, this is just another presumption that can't be of fewer chances. because the reason why BNB is hitting more closer to ETH is if the fees that ETH big problem now, people are hardly moving their ETH for its high cost and the need someone to help which BNB did it.

The alt market is really unpredictable and you cannot predict what the future holds, ETH was having all the hype much before its launch and it did not live up to the expectation as we saw many scam projects popping up using the platform and now the issues with the fees. It is ridiculously high to send tokens and you cannot send small amounts and other platforms might gain momentum in situations like these.

Theres a lot of possibility that could happen in the future of cryptocurrency. If things go well for BNB and Binance itself, theres a good chance that they will replace Ethereum. Agree.  I think after defi, NFT became a hot trend earlier this year.  BNB had a well-prepared hybrid BSC hybrid, along with a great reputation from community support for the largest exchange. 
The BSC provides all the essentials for defi additional requests, competing with ETH.  But BSC needs time to verify the compatibility is guaranteed. 
I think BNB surpassed Tether to take third place. They have the experience and the competition to accelerate.  They will not be able to replace ETH yet, but they create a trend that could make a big profit.

Well it's true that Binance is performing really well at the moment but I think there are projects that work for a long time with a lot of stuff going on that are going to really challenge Etherium. I think Cardano and Polkadot are some of them. Binance is doing good it's true but the rise is a bit to fast for me I hope it will get all right at the end for them.

It seems to me that you should not consider the issue of competition between Ethereum and Binance so categorically. While ETH developers hesitate with a scalability solution, Binance does not lose its grip and quickly takes the situation into its own hands.

Hmmm. I disagree on this statement. BSC is far more advance than the current ETH in terms of speed and reliability that's why lots of new well known DeFi projects are choosing to launch in BSC like Pancake Swap and many more. The only thing ETH investors holding on is the ETH V2.0 success which is not yet showing a major upgrade. I don't think that binance can take the second place from ethereum in terms of market cap and adoption. Even though a lot of new projects are now built on binance smart chain because of the low fees ethereum has still way more projects built on their chain. The main advantage of Binance is very less fee as compared to ethereum. If we see the bounty section many new projects are believing BSC because the transaction cost is less. you need to understand, what is meant in this topic is not what you meant. this topic is talking about "Its Quality" not its ranking position. I think that only any Altcoin can replace ethereum, but in terms of quality being the best altcoin doesn't seem easy to be replaced by any Altcoin. I think they can actually compete in terms of technology and development because Binance has huge resources that they can use to develop, however there are two main problems:

a) It is a private chain, so you are always under the foot of Binance and manipulation is likely.
b) The ecosystem is not even half as big as the ethereum. Much less projects, much later.

The high fees is always irritating and what i do when i want to withdraw bitcoin i always use low fees and i have the patience to wait until it gets confirms and when i need to move around i usually convert them to Doge or Ripple.

Though i am still a huge fan of Ethereum but i couldn't deny that Binance Market was impressively soaring high. Actually, i also didn't know it but everytime i check the blockfolio to see the price movements of my favourite cryptocurrency i always see Ethereum in a red arrow, though its market value was not that lower as $1500 but thinking Ethereum as a good coin, i am expecting it to have a good market value too in this bullish market.

BNB is catching up very fast and on CMC it's at no 3. In terms of market cap and price per token BNB is still way behind ETH. Moreover, BNB is also not completely decentralized token like ETH thats why Eth will always remain ahead of it.

Binance and ethereum are not similar in the use case, so on terms of price it can be or it can even surpass the ethereum or who knows even bitcoin but remember it is centralized which is not similar with decentralized Bitcoin network

Binance and ethereum both of them are really good as an investment. Ethereum is the first ever contract based platfrom that's why the community behind it very strong. They also have a big 3rd party dev base. And the most beautiful part about ethereum is it's fully decentralized. In other hand bnb solve some of the problem like high fees transaction speed. But bnb is centralized. But they are doing really good. If you want to invest you can go with both.

The only downside I can see with BNB is that it is loosely tied with the reputation of the Binance company. I don't think Binance will replace Ethereum as the king of altcoins because both have different advantages and disadvantages of each. Currently, many are using binance smart contracts (BSC) due to the high transaction fees of Ethereum, so many projects have switched to using BSC. But it's not because many use BSC, it's not necessarily that BSC is able to replace Ethereum's role. because I believe ethereum transaction costs will be low again, and new projects will also return to using the ethereum platform.

It cannot be the next ethereum in all aspects that is for sure. A privately owned chain is designed to serve the business (Binance) primarely and take into account the need of growth and profit of the company. It's not a race of price but marketcap and I believe that some day soon, Binance stands the chance to take over all the marketcap ETH has and BSC will rule. All I'm scared for is, if the price of BNB will rise too much, then the cost to get each transaction approved and/or confirmed will also increase in terms of gas (here:BNB). Still, I believe that BNB has a lot of potential to grow and BSC will definitely be the king of smart chains.

Like everyone else out there, I'm also highly frustrated with the fees we need to pay over the Ethereum network in order to get our transaction confirmed and the worst part is, we can't even change the fee if we're using a DEX like Uniswap but BSC chain gives us a chance to alter the fee a bit (doesn't really make any difference to the value of the fee but it's just a feature I'm talking about). And that's what I like about BSC - low fees and quick transactions just like ETH and sometimes even faster than that.

Whatever we think or tell, cryptocurrency is our future. Here our first priority should be focus on transaction cost and TPS. What was the main reason people paid so much attention to BSC? Ethereum high fees. You can now make a transaction on Ethereum blockchain for 45 gwei ($2.4). What are BSC network fees right now ? Cant give that info instantly, but they are not so low to make BNB replace Ethereum.

It feels like we live in different worlds. At the time of this writing (04/27/2021), the commission on the Ethereum network is $ 10. This is a very high value. I think Binance and Ethereum are more of a combination of the two blockchains. If Binance wants to stand alone, why does Binance use the same address and smart contract as Ethereum. We can even accept BSC tokens with an Ethereum wallet address. This means that these two things cannot be separated.

Not really man. Binance is an exchange coin, but they created Binance Smart Chain with their own blockchain.
Although BSC looks like Ethereum blockchain, it is just like a duplicate of Ethereum, but without proof of work (mine able by ASIC).

I don't think that binance can take the second place from ethereum in terms of market cap and adoption. Even though a lot of new projects are now built on binance smart chain because of the low fees ethereum has still way more projects built on their chain. Also a lot of crypto fans don't like and don't trust binance because everything is controlled by cz. And crypto was once meant to be decentralized. Thats also what Defi stands for.

bnb with bsc network is now active in most of the market. but for a few reasons regulations were asked by some countries because it is purely centralized. There is no such thing in Ethereum. Even if bnb passes ethereum, I don't think it will be long term.

Binance is having regulatory issues for running an exchange but i do not think that their BSC network will face any issues, if that happens then majority of the other projects will be under pressure of regulatory body. Binance might not overtake the valuation of Ethereum in a short period of time as there are many changes coming in to ETH as well and the new projects are using multiple networks.

Binance coin being backed by the largest exchange for cryptocurrencies can surpass ethereum according to me. It is showing more development than ethereum in the recent times and a lot of projects should be leaving ethereum soon because of the high gas fees to execute the transaction on the ethereum blockchain whereas the fees being in pennies on the Binance chain it is easier to transact there. The new features that were supposed to happen on the ethereum chain are also taking a lot of time, more than the promised one which makes us question about the dedication of the developers towards the project as well.

I don't agree with anyone who said that binance or to be clear binance smart chain is a breakthrough, it's at most just alternative for eth to face the scalability issue because defi. Is there news about the so called "changes" they should be doing with ETH to keep the fees down? Not that much of a reader lately due to many crypto related things I do. Anyway all I can see in this is that Binance will certainly have a hard time to surpass Ethereum, since the market cap is 26 or 25 times that of Ethereum, I think. I will take a while before it becomes number 2. I am not saying it is impossible, I am saying that it is somewhat hard for it to reach second status anytime soon.

Guys what's with wanting to be something you are not? No coin is shape shifting into anything here, ethereum remains where it is so will Binance coin. I understand people want to enjoy the low fees of Binance on Ethereum but you know that eth is the busier blockchain of the two and its expected that fees will be higher.
