I think Doge is largest meme coin in crypto currency market. Recently shiba played well but i think doge is best. I have huge memory with doge coin. And i am huge profited form doge coin. In 2017 when doge price was $0.0005 then i was bought $1300 doge coin and  i traded it after trading my fund were near about $5k. It was my biggest profit from crypto currency market. So i never forget doge coin. Doge coin gives me financial freedom. So i still love this meme coin.

Doge is the first and largest. It was one of the earliest coin coined as Meme coin as it was introduced to make people aware of cryptocurrency and mining. ShibaInu was it's mascot. Influenced by it, Shiba token came as a meme coin with controversial initial supply. A plethora of other tried to copy it, some a bit successful while most in vein. Pepe was the last meme token I missed that got a significant success and still holding. That's why I'm early into Pepemo. Hoping it would be to Pepe what babydoge is to dogecoin.

I expect that Doge coin is the largest among meme coins, as far as I know there is no total supply for the Doge coin.

All the meme coins were pumped and they created hype in the market with crazy gains up to thousands of percent, see from the ROI on Coinmarketcap.

There are many lists of meme coins up to hundreds but only a few survive in the market with high market capitalization value, I just think of Dogecoin which is currently still at the top.

Doge wan't considered a memecoin until Elon troll with it. Shiba I think is the biggest as it was immediately added to Robinhood which the exchange even changed its meta description to favor SHIB for its marketing. Everybody in the big digital currency is shilling for this coin god knows what the reason is but look at how it is today, it still rank up at 18th in CMC.

To this day people shills for it to win with its Shibarium launch. It evolved to a L1 and also embarking on privacy features and they even have $Bones.

Well obviously dogecoin is the biggest meme project in the crypto space. It was the first meme project that was created and it also has the highest market cap of all meme coins. The next meme coin that was a success was Shiba Inu which came many years later and basically was just a copy of Dogecoin with a different name. This year we had Pepe which made quite a few early investors rich.
We should not forget though that for every successful meme coin there are probably 10000 others that completely fail. So just stay away from shitcoins in general.

I would not trust any for a long-term asset. Better just play along, use them to milk some money, and then dump them away. Find a new one, buy it, sell it, and then leave it again.
Don't ever fall in love with any of this, their market could easily fall any day or worse, any minute. At you sleep or while you are eating, they could be manipulated by whales and turn it to dust.

Of the ones you mentioned, I think the top 3 are Dogecoin, Shiba Inu and Pepe. And I also think that those three have high chances that they will also keep up during the bull run of Bitcoin. Apart from that, I think the Aidoge, and Caw look good and okay to hold until the bull run returns.. Anyway, this is just my observation.

There is also the under of shiba inu, like Bonk, shibdao, because when the price value of Shib increases, the top coins under the network of Shib will also be pulled up for sure based on what I can see.

Of course we will go with the OG of them all which is Doge coin. And it has been like that for years until Elon Musk become the so called influencer and hype Doge. After that there are a lot of copycats including Shiba.

But for now, I would say Pepe, it went viral and has huge followers and someone get rich instantly as the creator of this BRC-20 token. However, I think there could be more in the future, specially as we approach the bull run next year. Developers would fine another hype and creates meme coin for everyone to make money with.

For now if we look at the list of Meme category on CMC, then the biggest coin from the MC side is Dogecoin, the second is Shiba and the third is Pepe. And about my profitable meme coin is $PEPE, I was lucky enough to know the existence of this token earlier, even though I was not an early adopter, but it managed to earn up to x5+ of my total investment in this token. Doge doesn't have any purpose at the first it was created until it became a tipster token that is used on exchanges. I remember the days where I received a DOGE from an exchange as a tip to me and rain on that exchange public chat. The meme coin category was just popularized last bull market and everyone tries to copy it as they want to became part of the trend and until now, many useless meme coins has still being created. Everyone just want to make a profit that's why they are buying these useless coins.

Of course it is Dogecoin considering it's on the top 10, not surprising that Elon was likely the reason behind that it was put there. When it comes to enemy coins I think it’s fairly obvious that the king will always be DOGE. It was created as nonsense and found its way to being Elon Musk’s darling even after the creator came out and said it was a scam. To op — I haven't invested in any meme token, so I don't have any profitable coin per se, but if I were to choose it will Doge because it's father of meme coins, just like Bitcoin is to crypto.

Doge was definitely the largest. Back in 2014 we all assumed the coin would die off but it had such success that it actually got sponsored a few times. Once it was for a bobsled team and another time it was for NASCAR if I recall correctly.

Then during the bear market it died off slowly and pumped from time to time but it wasn’t until Elon started tweeting that it really took off again. I owned maybe millions of doge from the past but they were hardly worth anything. Sold it all way too early.

I would also say that Dogecoin is the largest meme coin because it is the first meme coin ever created and many people have used it either in gambling (mode of payment) and other platform. Other meme coins are copycat that's why it didn't get much people to use it. Your list of meme coins was good. Because what I am seeing in the current market is these meme coins are in the top. But if we talk about the current and the largest meme coin there will be one name and that is dogecoin. The doge coin was created in 2013, and its current owner is not its original creator. Dogecoin was created by Billy Markus and Jackson Palmer. Anyway, although its value is not high at the beginning, when Elon Musk got his hands on it, its hype came and it became known as memecoin, basically it was through this dogecoin that memecoin was introduced to crypto currency.

As of now, there are lots of meme coins that are being created just to be in the trend because of successful stories of Dogecoins and Shiba Inu and there are lots to choose from right now when you want to invest. just like any other altcoins when they start to become trending, their competitors also start to rise as well. If you want to invest in these kinds of coins you need to consider not putting all your money in but rather just spending some funds that you consider low because you might not gonna see your capital gain if your investment goes wrong also this is not like any other coins because you need to be fast when it comes to selling it when it rises mostly the price will from after that and rarely to rise again.

Just a little bit correction on this timeline. Mona(the original Mona coin https://monacoin.org/) is almost same age to Dogecoin. They exist with short gap during the time when meme coin still not categorized as meme coin but payment coin.

Precisely, but bottomline is how will you define "largest", is it on daily volume, network, etc. Memecoins are still a good coin and the only problem is its utility which lcks as well to sustain its market value for a longer period of time unlike with major coins in this industry.

Is it okay to invest? Yes ofcourse, as long as there is a demand. But with long term holding, I doubt. I personally swing trade meme coins and it is blurry to see its price to be back on its highest 'coz most of its price increase happened due to whale manipulation.

There should not be any doubt about this, dogecoin is the first, the biggest and probably the only real meme coin which was released on this market, the first two points are not up to discussion but the third one may surprise some, however while dogecoin was in fact created as a meme and the developers did it just for the fun of it, every single coin which has been released since then is not really a meme coin as the developers behind those coins did not released their coins just to create a meme, they did so to enrich themselves and nothing more.

DOGE is the biggest and most profitable "meme coin" if you want to call it that way. I remember the first day of DOGE, nobody expected it to stay alive and valuable until this day.

If you have doubts about altcoins then you have to look at Doge which is still holding up and even some time ago it was very expensive due to the influence of Elon Musk. So many copycats right now that literally just want to have good pump and dump like any other memecoins right now. The first coins in a sector are always the king of that that sector. alas we all know how majority of them turned out to be most of them just outright fail. therefore even if there are many doge copycats appearing in the market actually none of them succeed that much.

Calling dogecoin a solid coin may be an overstatement, it is true that if you compare it to other meme coins then dogecoin is without a doubt the best out of all of those coins, but meme coins are not the only coins that exist in this market, and anyone looking for a solid coin should instead invest their money on bitcoin, and if they are looking to invest in altcoins then they can invest in ethereum or the binance coin if that is what they want.

You are approaching this in the wrong way since there is nothing to recover from, according to your own post you sold PEPE for a small profit, I can assure you that while you are only looking at those that obtained a lot of profits with PEPE, you are missing all the people that lost a lot of money with that coin, and in that case you are in a way better position than those people as you made money with the coin, not much but something, and this means that you have greater freedom when selecting the next coin in which you may want to invest.

I agree with your opinion about meme coin but by analysing the projects growth we can understand how this project grew that much in a short period of time. This can show us the path to find the next project that can show substantial growth and we can match that project with that example project's early stages. All are meme coin but I think Pepe coin is gradually gaining popularity. Almost everybody is talking about it.  And I think it's the only memecoin that people sees potential in it. And many people have invested on it. And am also thinking about it as the largest.

There is a trend of meme coins and due to quick success of meme coins everyone wants to get profit by investing money into meme coins. Shiba inu and doge coins performed very well therefore others meme coins are well accepted by crypto users and pepe as well as Floki are also a good meme coins with regard to investment.

You have bought 10+ meme coins but still you are not agree with its success so this statement is somewhat astonishing. Because people always invest in that coins about which they have firm thoughts and they be of the opinion that this coin possess a prospect of showing higher gain.

Dogecoin is the best meme coin among the top meme coins in the current market. Next to Dogecoin is Shibainu. I looked at different exchanges by searching CoinMarketCap and CoinGecko. But I don't take meme coin as favorite other than these two coins I only take this Dogecoin and shibainu coin as favorite.

How do you know shiba inu has a better future than doge Coin? They are the same type of product and it is an absolute mockery in the face of the whole altcoin industry. Although both of them can be really bad investment decisions, if we keep that aside I think doge can be a better investment than shiba inu. Meme coins are not something you need to have more confidence on about the future,  you can't predict if they will do well in the market for for long. I simply agree with you, in essence of it's continuity in the market. Dogecoin have the potentials if lasting much longer than any Altcoins one can think of. Doge recently is now being used as a means of payment in some companies and sites so this give the long opportunity for its continuity. But, when it comes to giving profits, it is not that which will be more suitable to invest, there are many new altcoins which will give a better pump but their stay is usually limited.

Pepe is my favorite meme coin for now because the team are very good and experience. Even with the challenges they had, they were still able to keep the project on a high level. In my opinion, Dogecoin is the largest meme coin by market capitalization. Doge is also the oldest meme coin. I once made a big profit with Doge when the price went up very high. Even while I was investing in cryptocurrencies, the biggest profit I ever made was when I sold Doge at a very high price. I don't think anyone is sure such a meme token will surpass what Dogecoin has already achieved. Meme tokens are created to create pumps and dumps in a short time. they create hype in their community to increase trading and the value will increase in a short time and then plunge very quickly.

You forgot to mention Garlicoin, and Monacoin (not to be confused with the copycat "Mona"). The first one is relatively new to crypto land with a limited supply of only 69 million units. It's completely different from the average "meme" coin. But it has a low price due to poor marketing/promotion efforts, and inactive development. Then we have Monacoin which is a very old "meme" coin often admired in Japan. This last one has survived, despite the fact that other "meme" coins have taken the crypto world by storm.

While investing in "meme" coins is a gamble, it wouldn't hurt doing DCA for short-term profits. For something more serious, Bitcoin is the only solution. To be honest I know a lot of memecoins are fairly useless. It is kinda understandable because memecoins were literally just created out of fun and well… memes. It would be rare to find a memecoin with actual utilization and those are the ones who do well generally while the others end up dead after being hyped for awhile. Even some popular memes don’t break it through cryptocurrency because their coin does not have any real purpose or whatsoever.

Wasn't Dogecoin the only "meme" coin that brought Elon Musk's attention? Shiba Inu came after Dogecoin went all the way to the moon back in 2021. It was a failed attempt to make early investors rich in the long run. Just because one "meme" coin "pumped", doesn't mean the same will happen with other coins. I consider SHIBA and the likes to be nothing more than pure copycats of DOGE. They will eventually fade away into oblivion as people move on to the next big thing in crypto.

Why hold onto something with billions of units in circulation? This added inflation should negatively impact market prices over the long term. It's simple economics. Hopefully, people start taking crypto seriously as a means of payments instead of a speculative investment. Just my two sats. ;D

Investing in meme coins is very risky especially because they are so hyped in the market that any time the market dumps, it becomes very difficult for the market to re-correct. So I don't invest in Meme Coins for now but always be cautious.

And if I will take the the largest meme coins then I will take Solana coins because as it is, the Solana network is congested with Ethereum but I don't think Dogecoin network is congested at the moment or had been congested before.

Cryptocurrency is a competition business for now so new tokens are coming to in every week and the cryptocurrency ecosystem is open source space that doesn't reject projects. Any cryptocurrency that has been created in the space is accepted into the market or the space and it is left for you to survive. And not all the cryptocurrency projects that are in the market is good to invest or recommend to people but only few.
There are some memecoins that are new but has a good price in the market. The Dogecoin has been in the cryptocurrency community for decade and tokens that came after it are doing well but all the tokens listed by the Op, it is Dogecoin has the largest.

There are indeed many meme coins that provide that much profit, but not all of them have that potential.
