I don't know why this thread has risen again. But it is true that Doge is still the biggest meme coin. No matter how many memecoins have been created so far, they are not able to compete with Doge as the pioneer of meme coins. Meme coins exist because Doge coin experienced extraordinary hype in the bullish era last season. It doesn't hold any significance without elon musk. What will happens to it if one day elon make a tweet saying he was just mocking the community by saying doge to the moon. Its price will instantly lose ground and will do a free fall. A project should not depend on a single person that much because this gives them the chance to control the market as they want. So i think we should stay out of doge in any means if we are already in a profit. There are other project that is far better than doge for long term holding.

According to coinmarkecap Doge is biggest meme coin which is no 9 with respect to marketcap. Doge has 11 billion $ marketcap.. Shib is the second big meme coin which has close to 5 billion marketcap and now sitting at number 19. Doge is best coin because Elon Musk is supporting and any coin which has a big supporter then chances of increasing price is high..

If not for doge, I wouldn't have known anything about meme coins. Doge really pulled crowd and was lucky to have been liked by Elon musk who rather made the coin popular and made it pump beyond expectations.
It will be correct to say that the idea of doge birthed so any other meme coins as doge killer, Shiba and the rest.

just as bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrency, ethereum is the king of altcoins, so doge is the king of meme coins. Even though it is not as famous as before, there are still many doge communities and that is what makes it still at the top of the coinmarketcap rankings. but to fly again I think doge needs support like what happened before.
