Primedice has two positions open for moderators in the chat. Becoming a moderator is not a paid job, however you will receive generous tips when your work is noticed.

Note that muting is to be used only when necessary, open discussion is encouraged.

I always try to bring a friendly atmosphere to the chat, a little joke every now and then, but it highly annoys me to see scammers/trolls/etc in the chat, and I'd gladly help get rid of this. This interests me because I love the community as it is, so automatically I love spending time here. I have 3 year experience on working with people with my actual job, and while this is not the same as a chat room moderating job, I do know how to handle certain situations. Also speaking English at least 3 hours a day would benefit me because English is not my native language and this is a great opportunity to keep it up to date.

I think in total its alot more than .5 but if u are in only for that good chance is u wont get any.

U need to use mute unmute commands wisely and u need to be helpful, when u do good, and u earn respect from community tips and earnings and more important respect, will come.

Chat msg's = about 1k i m not active as much on pd because i,m getting problem of chrome miscommunication between pd and chrome . Can't send messages..well tried ie and worked.
What u offer : Nothing more than peace in chat and will bring pleasure atmosphere to chat . I see many spammers in the pd chat and really want to shut them down but cant well i will bring peace in chat between users as they all sometimes get messed because of tips lol.. How long have you been apart of PD community: I've joined shortly after MICRO was, when we were both newbies. I had the account "candystripes" on PD2, which I made after a couple earlier ones. I think around mid-March was when I first played on Primedice. I've been active almost everyday since for at least 30 minutes, missing a maximum of 20 days since then.
Your chat message count: Right now I have around 4500 chat messages. Even when I'm not betting, I'll just hang out on the chat and faucet a little bit.
What you have to offer: I'm always online. Not 24/7, but I'd say at least 7 hours a day. Weekends I'm online the full day from morning until night. I'm easy to deal with and can do the job right! I have tons of experience with the chat. I'd estimate from all the time I have spent around PD2, I think I have had around 30,000 chat messages at least on Primedice 2, for the 6 months I have been there. Along side the whole moderation section, I am always available for free graphics, whenever you need me! I've been fooling around making things with Photoshop CS6 alot the past year and I'd be willing to throw in my skills free of charge.

**Note**: Candy is known as the local chat troll of Primedice. I don't get on the chat purely to troll other users, but rather when I see a good opportunity, I would take it. I've been muted a ton of times for little jokes here and there, but I can promise you one thing. If I can get the position, I will no longer be in "Candy the troll" mode, but I will be in "Candy the mod" mode from now on. My behaviour will consist of nothing besides mature, friendly, and serious attitude. This I can assure you.

I think a general rule is that anyone who really wants to be a mod should be a bit suspect.

Stunna, I don't see how this is any easier than simply monitoring your own chat (or having a trusted mod do so) for a couple of hours during the time that you need coverage and seeing who seems to be a good member of the community and inviting them.  I realize you are super busy, but this is going to take a lot of time too.

I also think you need some really clear expectations of behavior in chat.  The new levels make spamming and line splitting pay and the new formatting makes it take up more of the screen.  It makes me miss (the very heavy handed) PokerJet.

Frankly, anyone who looks like Hui who is on when you need them would be a good choice.  But I guess people like that are rare.

Asking for 3 hours activity per day for a possible and unlikely reward of $240 +- seems a bit rough to me... Good luck recruiting anyways there is clearly plenty of interest in the role!

IMHO Mod positions should always be open so you have a reserve of possible candidates. There is never really a good reason to stop accepting Mod applications.

Its voluntary , nobody is asking for anything. If u would like to be mod u apply and u need to have requested activity or ur mod position would be pointless . That is why that is requested.

Even so the "guideline", if you'd rather it be described as such, of 3 hours sets the yardstick of what is expected in the position, and what is expected as the reward seems to be badly aligned. That was all I was saying.

I wouldn't even put that part of how much rewards u can get.
Mods are not paid on any site. Its purely voluntary job. U shouldn't expect any rewards or earnings. But yeah u will probably get some.

And 3h min activity is a guideline, its like if u cant do that, u don't need to even apply for it.
This is just to see how much people are interested and get 2 new mods .

I don't really want to start a discussion but would like to comment on this. This is insulting and very disrespectful. Since when do females have to prove anything?! If you seriously believe women get free stuff you're wrong. Not without immorally whoring your way into it at least.

I don't find this to be a very prevalent issue whenever I look at the Lending or Scam Accusation sections every once in a while to check for scammers. It also really depends on the situation.

No, but that's how it is now because males have abused that position in an attempt to scam people and same goes for this situation unfortunately. I've also been staff on various sites as you probably know from the MD situation. I'm aware my chat message count isn't the highest - however I do believe that my range of experience with moderating should make up for that and then some. I know the different situations and I know how to deal with someone who is breaking the rules. I feel like I could help out on the PrimeDice chat by responding to situations quickly and efficiently rather than just having to watch rule-breakers get away with it for a long time before being muted.

With over 200+ people online at any given moment, it is hard to see every PM that is sent to us. If we don't reply to a PM you send us in a reasonable time, simply resend it. I know it gets annoying but there are a lot of people trying to get our attention PLUS us trying to pay attention to regular chat to catch abusers. If you are only PMing one specific mod, try contacting another because I don't know about these other mods, but I may be on chat for 2-3 hours at a time non stop without someone needing me and as soon as I stand up to use the restroom or eat or something, that's when people decide to PM me with issues lol

This is how you will sure NOT get that work...just fill the form as it's asked to do and hope.

Everyone wants to be a mod. Are you prepared to be one ? Or you want it because it will rise your reputation? Or you ask it just to kill your time ? Or maybe it gets you more chances to ask for loans, that you wont get with simple name?

Mod is not easier job, it can be a burdain, there are good and bad days, and in every situation you have to be positive. Its not only your reputation that goes down, but sites to. You won't get paid, you will get lots of bashing, you wont get any medals for being nice and helpful.

Yes, I can.  I have owned 2 pretty successful websites and was the only admin.  I know how stressful the position can be and how many countless hours you must be online without getting nearly the amount of appreciation deserved and must work for free.  



I am on PD 6-12hrs a day.  Not sure how many people really know how hard it is though.  

You're MICRO though, you're a little different to the other mods, I guess you could be considered as a Senior Mod or something similar xD

I've gotten about 3 mBTC ($1.50) of tips over the last 4 days. Mods shouldn't expect tips and they should be able to spend hours upon hours on the site each day, deal with lots of spam and annoying situations in chat, etc. If you look at my "payment" per hour it's in the single-figure cents. :P It isn't all fun and games lol, that's why experience is good. You gotta know what you're getting into.

IMO the people who desperately want to be mods are usually in it for the wrong reasons so this thread asking for applications was probably a bad idea. The best way to become a mod is just be active in the community and people who matter will notice you.

How about we have a vote to demote DiamondCardz? I'm surprised Stunna hasn't been severely criticized for just choosing a Hero Member who is never on, and is low quality. Nobody likes him. What made you think that because he ran some stupid ass nerd-game sever, he would be a good mod? And Zoltan, good mod, but never online. If you agree to demote DiamondCardz, and hire a good, high quality, friendly, regular, and well-known mod, please reply to this.

Or PM me..? Im 21 yrs ,I have a fiance and a beautiful 2 year old son, as well as my newborn baby as of Aug 27!! I have more than enough time being a manger that works 55+ hours 8am - 10pm frames (central). But my job duties are limited to sitting on the internet the whole time for okay pay, which i could utilize as a mod! The hardest part of my job is trying to find something to do on the internet beside bitcoin stocks and companies lol!! I love the website and the ideas it has brought to me and i would like to share if mods would like to reach out. Show that you are a cool guy in chat and chat a lot. Rather than doing all this pushing to make yourself look good. When people do this on my MC server it makes me want to deny them very quickly.

I did take about a week hiatus and logged on rarely as I was dealing with other things, lol, but I'm much more active again now.

As i said , if valid proof was shown that he did scam people ON PRIMEDICE CHAT , he would be muted. Outside of pd u can do whatever u want and be whoever u want when u come to gambling site , everybody is welcome, what u do outside of pd is none of ours business .

Recently, I have been noticing existing gaps in the current moderator coverage of the site. During the day, there are frequently periods of time in which none of the moderators are able to come online and manage the site chat due to sleep, or external obligations. What good is having a mod who isn't currently active on chat? Anyone could try be active for a short while and then just beg for a position and those that do often have an ulterior motive, but people should have to prove their worth over time and then the admins can see that they are genuine and can be an asset to their business.

Labkitty is pretty active. And advantage will have people who speak russian coz we need that.

And usually when somebody becomes mod he/she starts to be much more active.

What you have to offer: I am a relatively easy going guy who is on PD a lot, I personally like the community it has to offer, and yes there is quite the swarm of beggars and moochers, and have fun normally interacting with the other members. It is a little bit of a joke that my main account is the account with the whole "Bank" thing on the end of it, with my alt account just being "Kokkey". I believe I have to offer a fair standing when it comes to muting people/banning, I understand the rules and wish to help enforce them. I also help people who speak Russian get into the Russian chat room normally when I see them talking in the English chat room, and believe that I can help direct them better to the room if I have the title mod. I am on quite often and believe that I can be a steady, fun, mod to the community.

What you have to offer: I know that I am fairly new to this community, with very little amount of day's of being a member, and very little chat messages thus far.  BUT, I am on PrimeDice every single day, for a minimum of 5 hours.  I am very strict on the rules of the chat, and I'm not even a moderator.  I will be honest with you, I have been muted once, but that was because I honestly had not read the rules of chat at the time.  I have now read them and know them by heart and would never do anything to compromise my account.  I am strict on people begging, asking for loans, etc...  I will not be the type of Moderator that thinks just because they are one goes on a "power trip" by any means.  I am an overall very friendly person, as long as you follow the rules.  Everyone is allowed to have fun in the chat, but unreasonable message after message and spamming the entire chat room is just unacceptable.  I have absolutely nobody, (at least that I know of,) that has expressed any sort of "hate," towards me, except for when I'm trying to enforce the chat room rules when they are being broken.  That's when people start to express that anger and hate, but that goes for anybody just trying to keep the chat on PrimeDice a clean, friendly, scammer-FREE chat room.  Lastly, if I do get chosen to be a "Mod," I will spice things up a bit in the chat room with possibly some trivia, and other user friendly games, that will help prevent others from having to beg, and I am good with coming up with new ideas, and could possibly come up with some to help improve PrimeDice in any way possible.  I hope this application gets read and I hear something from it soon.  Until then, Happy Gambling everyone!  Bet safe, and smart, and if you lose it all, just remember, it's just a game and you will have plenty more chances to win.  Thanks PrimeDice community, have a good rest of your day/night wherever you might be logging in from around the world. :)

Your chat message count: As of August 12th, 2015 3:33AM, 5434. I'm usually very active in chat and I tend to be most active during night, as I have work some nights. Ill pop on a few times during the day, but not often.

Look guys, I don't think this thread is that widely used for recruiting mods anymore...it was a bit back when I was mod, but not really anymore. The OP was last edited in September 2014, I wouldn't take what it says to be valid. You don't even need to apply to get mod - I didn't.
