Regarding the logo contest. While this coin is fun, it's not fun to get REKT on a scamcoin. That's why we want a logo that also has a bit of a serious feel as something that represents getting rekt in the crypto industry. While we love the first logo submission with all the crypto celebrities, this is not something we can use as a brand. I hope everyone understands. Keep them coming.

most of big miners get invalid shares cause of the small block time .... google it for more details ...

my friend is getting alot of invalid shares with some miner called thunder x2 or something

So far, "jimmy_mne's" submission fits our image best. Simple but effective. "Logo creator" looks good but does not fit what we want and totally does not give a REKT feeling. Again, the first submission is absolutely awesome but does not scale well and is not suited for the serious image we still want to create for the coin! "Crypotradekid" is nice but looks too similar to the current logo!

Odd. First miner appears to have been a private pool mining to address RArzZkA4G1u1cJpBkKLzU5sXwy2iCNvSMT.
This mining pool began mining about 1 minute after ANN. This private pool was extremely powerful, pushing difficulty to about 240 by itself.
However, the last found block for the pool was 214, indicating it stopped being used soon after launch.
The pool itself made payouts for the first time at block 52 primarily to RDUgnYPDUP4eLJMnmwLo5eimb8w7HQQhPR.
There is no proof for or against this being a founder-run pool. It could just as easily be an early miner with an exotic setup

it looks like the block explorer is showing received coins, not actual balance. You can check that if you click that address that received 80% of the coins. It currently has a balance of 150k. So I guess this address is suprnova pool as they had most of our hash.

There sure is alot of #REKT going on today. REKT is getting exposure mainly because of other coins dumping, so it has been a good day for rekt! Now for some important info:

The logo contest:
This has not been easy! We have seen many great and creative submissions. We chose jimmy_mne's submission because we feel this one looks most professional. This coin is fun, but it also has a serious aspect. We needed a logo that we can use on the corporate side of things too. Many of the submitted logos are more just for joking, but we appreciate every one of them! Unfortunately, everyone except for jimmy_mne is REKT! Please pm us your btc address and files (without background) for payment. We will give you 24 hours for this!

Exchanges & mining:
rekt is doing quite well on c-cex with already over 10 btc volume! That's not bad for an exchange like that :) . We are approaching the 6000th block and from there it will be much harder to getrekt! We expect the price to go up from here! Especially with more dumping from other coins, its better to get rekt!

Upcoming features:
In the upcoming week our topic will get a makeover and we will announce some great features. We first want to announce the Hall of Rekt. This will be a system for the community with a ranking for all coins. People will be able to submit a coin into the ranking and vote. We will have a weekly winner of the Hall of Rekt (rzr is a good contender, but we cant forget ultc, dsb, etc). There will also be prices and rewards. More on that later.

He instamines a few blocks until the difficulty doubles then drops his hashrate onto another coin while the rest of us are stuck solving a block that takes generally 5-10mins.

How is it possible that noone is staking, i think that you have a problem with implementation of POS.

Also next time you clone a stupid shitcoin, try choosing a coin which did actually have a good pos transition.

Did it ever occur to any of you that this was the plan all along? Make a coin, hype it, have people spend money mining/buying and then having it fail to transition into POS so you can't move your coins, therefore you've been REKT.

All in all, I do not think the dev was out to scam us. Crypto has been a bloodbath lately, and I think the goal was to make some fun and be sarcastic about the current state of affairs. Alot of people were in this from the start and its still salvageable.

This is the same thing that has happened to many other cryptos a few months ago.

I think this was a double scam and all of us who sold are about to get Rekt, it's only got 600k coins someone could front a massive pump on this right now. I believe the term is "a ploy within a ploy" I guess we will see :)

If Block explorer show current info around half amount of coins stollen in wallets and guys cannot send it on exchanges, also other half is on exchanges also without any send functions only trade it. Then, wait a bit more so your fam can get their spacecraft ready at the adjusted floor. Finally, release the update and use fuel from the community trying to get back in to make your apollo mission successful enough to turn you and your fam into spacemen.

Rektcoin did not have any feature (or promised feature) what would make it legit as an altcoin for the future. But rektcoin was a project for fun, and it still is.
All bagholders just bought Rektcoin and hoping for a pump and quick profit, just like all other shitcoins you are buying: it doesn't matter what the coin brings....you are just hoping for a whale who will pump it and you can make a quick profit. I guess no whale pumped rekt so you all got rekt! Including us!

Don't blame anybody else, blame yourself for buying a coin with nothing.

1. He was not involved in pump & dump.
2. He is not rich.
Why do I think that? Because I can name at least 10 coins which are struggling, because of their honest developers. Some of you want to get rich in 1 week and can't stop crying around about scams, but you must understand that you are one of the main reasons for current situation in the market!

I think I get it now.  I've been reading through your posts and you seem like a sound investor and Rekt is definitely a high risk, and even gamblers, coin.  So you are in here where you don't belong, attacking gamblers/(high risk takers), who only get hurt for loosing money to the degree by which they were unprepared to lose it, not just because they lost it.  Based on your last comment, even you can see that failure is a learning experience, which can make, what you learn about this game, rewarding in and of itself even when you loose.  Gambling and high risk taking is quite a recreational experience for the PREPARED mind and good advice would actually help you have the right mindset to know if you can handle it, as apposed to running you off in fear.  By the way, fear and a lack of knowledge go hand in hand.  The solution to fear is to know more about what you're afraid of, not run away from it.  Given that you are in here, fear-mongering because you "don't care" about what I learn, but just want to "shit on" and "laugh" at me whenever I loose money on a coin that you won't trade, makes you the problem in this thread and not the coin itself.  So I ask you, why are you here?  If you can do no better than run negative emotions and insults, then you should just leave this thread.
