You never gave a specific block or time that coins would stop being counted.  Are the POW miners who pointed their rigs at this all night because you randomly decided to swap to a new blockchain for no reason and give zero advanced noticed just fucked now?

Also, to all those participating in the swap, I suggest you refuse to PM our "dev" and post your DCX TXID and NXE address publicly so their is some semblance of transparency to this process.

You told people to stop mining just a little over 1 day ago, not 2 days, and you didn't seem to think it was necessary to give any notice whatsoever.  I saw 600 MHs on suprnova when I peeked at it last night.  That's lots of wasted hashes, electricity, and money if you aren't going to honor those coins.

Are coins being mined right now going to be honored?  Are coins that were mined last night going to be honored?  How long is the swap going to be open for?  Are coins mined during the swap period going to be honored?  State an EXACT time or block after which coins will no longer be honored If you state an exact time or block, how are you going to be verifying that coins swapped were not created after that?  This is why I said in the last thread that you need to fork the existing chain to 0 reward blocks during the swap because the blockchain needs to move to transfer coins but it is going to continue generating coins if you don't.

Do you seriously not understand why these are important things to consider?  It continues to show your consistent pattern of incompetence and carelessness.

Delete this post, and I will repost it.  I have multiple accounts here.  I'll create an uncensored thread of my own to catalog all incompetent and/or scammy behavior I see going on here.  So answer all those questions if you don't want me to be a constant thorn in your side.

I get what your saying, the $10 peg is quite a goal, but as dev mentioned is a long term goal. This $10 is not being thrown around like its going to happen tomorrow.

What stops anyone else from solo mining and exchanging their coins during the next week?  If people are allowed to exchange their solomined coins, it's only fair you leave the pool up.  YOU NEED TO FORK THE EXISTING BLOCKCHAIN TO 0 REWARD POW BLOCKS (AND SHUT OFF POS) SO THAT COINS ARE NOT CREATED DURING THE SWAP

I don't care if their are bigger fish to fry.  This maybe a tiny fish, but few others are pointing out all the nonsense I am seeing.  I suspect that this is because most were correct in laughing this this off since day 1 and stopped paying attention to it.  So it is my fish to fry now.  For the record I am undecided whether all the shit I see is incompetence or a scam brewing or a bit of both, but I'm not going to just let this shit fly by without saying something.

There was literally nothing to fix.  The old blockchain was fine.  The old codebase was fine.  A rebrand does not require a new blockchain.  Everything that he is seemingly trying to accomplish with this coin swap could have been accomplished with a simple fork.  This does not help the coin in the long or short run.  This swap accomplishes nothing.

EDIT: The 10$ peg is likely to happen never.  Trust me, I wasn't worried about him dumping the premine for $2 million.  More like 20-30 BTC.  Which may not be a lot but is still a decent pay day for some.  Plenty of minimum wage workers who put in more work for less.

There were two versions of the wallet (one for DKC, another for DCX). I have both, both are identical, other than the name change. One can run them on same PC with same results (NOT simultaneously though!!). You can use any of them, no need to upgrade or get the latest, even if the Dev tells so...

FYI guys, you can just solo mine on the old DCX blockchain at a lower difficulty and blocks with 55 coin rewards and trade them in for NXE.  You will get alot more coins than mining on the new NXE blockchain.  There is literally nothing stopping you from doing this.

So its like we have 2 blockchains to mine the same coins on.  Now thats an innovative idea :)

And I hope all the legit DCX miners get their coins in right away because if an early miner hasn't been paying close attention, it's possible that cheating miners end up getting his coins and you run out.  Just a thought.  See why I said an unnecessary blockchain swap is a major hassle?

I am ready to send the old DCX balance to dev but the DCX wallet still shows a significant amount staking.  I put gen=0 in the config but it is still there.  How do I zero that out so I can send the full balance?

To prevent stacking, go to Settings - Options and in the field Reserve put a big number, greater than the coins you have.

Your coins are already stacking, so you cannot use them for a while (because you used those coins to get the reward). I suppose you need to wait until the mined amount confirms. As you already set the "Reserve", the remaining coins will not stake.

You just need to keep the "Reserve" high, and wait for some time, until your currently staking coins become available again.

When I hover over the little circle in the lower right corner it pops up and says "Not staking because you don't have mature coins"  But up under Wallet next to Stake there is a large number.  There ought to be a way to reset it all to spendable.

Thats normal. There is no way to reset this, and it doesn't need to be. Those coins are not accessible, because you USED them on your previous stake. They should remain non accessible for some time - thats how staking works.
Don't worry, they will return to normal state soon, and new coins will not start to stake, so you will have all them accessible soon. Its ok :)

I have tested the port 8810 on all three nodes (nxe.ddns.net, nxe1.ddns.net and nxe.suprnova.cc), and only the Suprnova node is working. The port 8810 is closed on both nxe.ddns.net and nxe1.ddns.net, so they do not work. That's the reason of problems with sync some people are having.

I have tried to connect from two different places - the same result (only nxe.suprnova.cc works).

Probably your provider indeed have them closed... Can you use the same provider as dcxnode.ddns.net? That one works without problem.

To test if the port is open, you just need to "telnet nxe.ddns.net 8810" from other machine. If the port is open, you will connect and see a black screen. Ig it is close, you'll get a timeout.

Looking at the OP, I can clearly see the 2.2M coins premine advertized (swap from DCX). What "non-advertized hidden premine" this reviewer developer is talking about? "Lieing about their premine."??? Where? When?

As he writes "they are advertising 200k but hard forked it to 2.2M for their own stash", I suppose he just did not read the OP of this coin, is unaware of the swap,  and is confused by wrong information somebody provided to him.

Not a big difference (200K is actually accounted twice in OP, which creates a confusion). I suppose this is mostly a language problem. Dev does not use the word "premine" for the "swap" coins. Thats it.

During testing everything worked fine (mined 1000 blocks) then after public release block 101 was still zero reward

+ Dev spent a week on this coin. Nothing special. No innovation. Claimed innovation.
+ No transparency. Dev can't fully answer my questions.
+ Dev avoids my questions and tries to side track conversation.
+ Dev tries to "bribe" me with "Oh we can use this for Coin Shield". Big red flag.
+ Thread turns to personal attacks, very unprofessional.

And crush, you are right that I was wrong about the pre-mine, this is why I came to discuss it with the Dev. Dev semi clarified it, but you all are choosing to trust him that he isn't holding it himself. I would recommend transparency for all swapped coins to be sure, but I will not argue with the community. It isn't very hard to flush 500k coins through a 2.2M coin swap, which means the public can still claim they got their swap, but we can't know for sure that the dev isn't holding some skim.

The swap (exchange of the DCX coins to NXE coins) is finished more than a week ago... I suppose you cannot exchange the coins anymore.

It is a pity spent my time and electricity. The only thing not clear if not read on a daily basis all sorts of crap about another innovation, then almost did not have time to exchange gold stock!  ;D ;D ;D

But frankly kills indifference owners coins. ??? ??? Imagine if you were in Germany, and today the marka is exchanged for euros, but you do not have time for one day change (as we have in the Soviet Union in 1990) and then what? Look at the money and pasted over by them wall toilet (as I did, because only a certain amount exchanged and all!) And looking at is creativity in moments of solitude. ;D

See the trouble with altcoins is most buyers cant read code and take the Dev at full value,with both innovations and where the pre mine went.Here I see nothing special about the code not much innovation and nothing to stop the Dev selling some pre mine for himself.
Two things you need in a coin is code that shows value and innovation,something different to make it stand out and you need transparency...This coin has neither!!Saying that I wish you well and I said from day one this was a bad investment in fact you took my posts down!!

It takes very little time to login and update the community which makes the disappearance of the developers for this long rather inexcusable even if there is a valid explanation

Looking back now my efforts to seek transparency for this project might have jeopardized it unnecessarily, and I'd like to apologize to the miners, investors and contributors for any losses incurred if this is the reason the developer has disappeared

I have lost as an early investor on this also myself considering where the price is at now

The concept did appear promising - bring together a team of talented developers to build a protocol that benefits their individual projects and the wider community

If this was just a scam then I'll be glad that its not going ahead personally because it could of caused a lot of people to lose money

You are correct, I posted on this thread without invitation from its users which is contrary to the word I gave.


I generally see little use in such, especially when I am in error, but if you must know it was for my concern that the user "drays" was promoting this coin to new users, while behind the scenes messaging me that he knew of the developer's history of running away from coins.

I felt it necessary to make this clear to future users to protect them from investing in something that appears to have been abandoned.

That is false statement, Viz. I have never promoted this coin. All I did is openly informing you on this thread about the facts you carelessly missed in the beginning when investigating this coin (such as the existence of "swap"). The history about this Dev running away from his previous coin (DCX) (not "previous coins" as you told, but just one "previous coin" - DCX) is well known, everybody in this thread was informed about that, as folks were actually swapping the coins from DCX project. The only thing done by me "behind the scenes" was sending a "thank you" message to you (probably I shouldn't do that...?), containing few of my own assessments and opinions. Please do not do ungrounded accusations, even if you need/want to show how great and honest you are.

I never write or say something to intentionally mislead people (and not only in this forum), so I am really surprised and feel offended by your irresponsible statement above. I still keep good deal of respect towards you, and I believe calumny is not something you have really wanted to do, so... care to prove your point, or apologize please.

Knowledge? It depends on what you mean saying 'knowledge'. If you mean factual knowledge of anything hidden from public, then the answer is "of course not". I assumed the Dev has very little tech knowledge, and he is not really serious person, however this is an impression, not knowledge. I then wrote about that to Videlicet, who agreed to me, then after some time he found that by publishing my mail he could raise his own rating, and show himself as public denunciator, and a Knight without Fear and without Reproach  >:(

Now again, those opinions about this Dev are only my own assumptions and opinions, and I never publicly declare something I cannot prove (unlike Videlicet, who seems to be very easy on accusing people and proclaim ungrounded opinions). I fully understand my opinions might be wrong, and if I choose to proclaim them publicly, I might insult somebody who does not really deserve that. Yes, I have a habit to analyze things and come to probably harsh conclusions, but voicing them is another topic. When such opinions are proclaimed publicly, one should prove them, otherwise this is called "slander".
People on this forum very easily insult each other, tell bullshit, blame somebody, just based on their whim, without facts, just because "they think so". This is unethical, and I do not welcome that, and am not going to do that.
For me there is a golden rule: never accuse somebody without 100% proof. That's why I did not accuse this Dev publicly, and that's why I find Videlicet's behavior to be unethical (mildly speaking).

Then again, who told this Dev ran out? We all can have or express any opinions, but the reality could be different. Maybe that guy is on trip, or is in hospital being hit by a car or by a train, or has issue with his family which takes all his time..? Maybe he is indeed a tech guru, and will come back with all the "innovative ideas" and surprise all us? Why not to just wait and see, instead of making statements, quoting oneself to enjoy the possibility to tell "see folks I was right, yeah!!! I am so clever!! Listen to me next time!!".
I still have my NXE swapped from DCX, so I would be happy to be wrong and find this dev to be a underrated crypto genius.
