Can't sync wallet. I use Verge-7.0.0, there is no connection. Everything was fine before. Adding Peers doesn't help. how long are u waiting? can u add more debug after it adds fixed seed nodes? 10-15 minutes. These are the last lines  Nothing happened for another 10 minutes and I turned it off. UPD: Downloaded QT-Wallet_v7.0.0_Verge-Blockchain_2022-September-19 today. Connections appeared and synchronized normally. I attached my wallet.dat file, so far there are 5-7 connections. Before that, there was the April Blockchain_2022, for some reason it was not synchronized with it. glad it worked out =] |

Hello, I have attempted to post my problem on Reddit, but an automatic "spam bot" removed my post so I'm gonna try here. 4 days ago I was not aware of the wallet update. So, 4 days ago in the older 6.0.2 Leviosa wallet I sent a small test amount to Bittrex (like I always do) before sending my full amount. The small test amount transferred flawlessly to Bittrex. So, I went to send my full amount and have run into an issue. The transaction looks as if it didn't go anywhere as it says (Unconfirmed) over the transaction yet my coins are gone. I have done a bit of research from a situation in the past similar to mine and what they had to do was close their wallet and everything and within several days the funds would get kicked out and bounced back to the original senders wallet. So, here we are 4 days later and still no bounce back. Granted, it could still take another couple days but I just want to see if there is anything I'm needing to do. Today, 4 days after the sent transaction, I have upgraded to the new 7.0 wallet thinking that may retrieve my funds by getting things updated and sync'd, but to no avail. I appreciate any help. I was checking up on this thread a pretty while back and we’re still on page 666. Not a lot of traction here, so we can safely the hype around XVG hasn’t picked up yet. But I think when the whole cryptobubble inflates again all low cap top 100 coins will easily 10x again. Perhaps a lot more..

Where can I download the blockchain history for the newest Leviosa wallet? How exactly do I "install" this updated history into my Windows QT wallet? Also, I have my backup saved from an old wallet from years ago, how do I take that backup file and load it into this new wallet to show my previous balance? Thanks for all of your help! Where to download? It's called syncing, just start the client. Find the data directory for verge and put your old wallet.dat file there (make sure to back it up plenty of times), the blockchain will rescan it while catching up. As this is an old coin, the sync process will take a long time. Edit, obviously first put the wallet.dat in place, then start the client. there is a "how to" section. |

so I downloaded the new wallet Verge Leviosa version v6.0.2.0 (64-bit), my previous one was wraith 4.0 I believe. I have 0 active connections to the verge network. I downloaded the database so I'm only 13 days behind but with 0 active connections It will not complete. I looked through the forum and followed some suggestions, i.e. deleting peer.dat but still not fixing the issue. Its been over a year since I've done anything with verge so im trying to catch up. Any suggestions on getting this fixed? anyone have a current peer.dat file they can share so I can see if that fixes the issue. Thanks
start your wallet with --dynamic-network, that will search for both tor and regular peers. started from CMD prompt i.e. D:\verge\verge-qt.exe -dynamic-network didn't work.. still 0 active connections, wont sync. I noticed my .conf file is empty... can you post the contents of yours.. maybe this is the issue. It used to be in years past when I couldn't sync. you should not need a .conf file. also, do you have any other wallets open that are using tor at the moment? or is tor running? also, try deleting your peers.dat and make sure you do not have a .conf. also make sure you have full permission to run the application and use the network (if you are using windows) |

Hello friends,
I need your help to get access to an xvg-qt account. I bought a lot of verge-coins two weeks ago. Unfortunately the error happened to me to use a digibyte address. There are four corresponding wallet addresses for this address, including a valid singleVerge address. I was able to add the Verge address to my xvg-qt wallet, but the digibyte address's privkey is different from the verge-privkey. So the xcg coin are under watch in my wallet, but cannot activate them.
Question: how do I get my coin active?
hi. im not sure i understand. how did you get a digibyte address? our qt wallet only produces verge pubkey/privkey pairs. Just for fun just tested a bit. Importing a digibyte private key doesn't work, swapping the digibyte wallet.dat for the verge wallet.dat does. The verge client generates the same addresses as the digibyte client. So, my guess is just move the digibyte wallet.dat to the verge client and rescan. Back everything up before starting the clients. If you want to cash out now that the price is higher, this method doesn't work, though  lmao hope you're doing well samspaces. im sure as you know i generally dont even come on this board anymore. |
