Gold is down too.. So are dow futures..
Where is the money going?

It's a good question. ans: USD

... the demand for USD is so high that the repo market froze up. Fed had to pump in first $150billion then upped that to $500 billion (rolling over in a month) another $500 billion rolling over in 3 months and promises for another $500 billion cash in a months time.

bottom line, there is a YUGE bubble in USD fiat and everything else is getting dumped.

Only time can tell where it goes from here. Place your bets, USD fiat, stocks, bonds, crypto, land ... nobody knows the value of anything any longer but they are trained to shelter in USD when they are scared so that's what they do ... even though it is a shared illusion of value.

Fortune favours the brave.

Nobody is going to bail them out, no matter how much funny money is printed, as nobody is going to bail us out. We wil sit down, look and see... .  Wink

Can’t imagine myself being the complete moron of selling my coin as cheap as they are now....

The selling is not done by people who need the fiat now. This is different. I don 't know what it is though.

Neither Biden or Sanders will be alive in November if they stay on the campaign trail.

Both are in the high risk elderly category and have serious underlying health problems (Sanders heart, Biden bood pressure (heart?)) and being on campaign trail it will be impossible to self-isolate from the SARS2 virus. Meeting with staff, public, pressing hands at fund-raisers they will be maximally exposed to social networks, it's part of the job description.

If I was a betting man I would put some money on the Democratic contender for president will NOT be Sanders or Biden, possibly someone under-60, Tulsi Gabbard? Pete Buttigieg?

Lol, I thought neither Biden or Bernie would get to the election, even without the little critter... . I would love to see Tulsi, she appears to be the only one with some sort of a brain. But I am afraid we might rather see Hillary coming like the dark witch... . Btw, if things continue as of present, Donald may also disappear before election day... . That is of course, if there will be an election day!. Now, ok, we all have one thing in common : we 're all screwed by the critter! How unifying that is! Grin

UK       206        2      0.97%

2 deaths from 206 positivies is a 0.097%. If they were using a simple spreadsheet that kind of error should not happen. That's why we can not trust any of those figures, and much less the skewed stats used as a data source.

No country or regime is providing correct data. All is massaged to avoid panic. We see per day cases, deaths, recovered but not the number of people tested... .

Given Trump seems actively involved in trying to cover up US cases of Covid-19, I now think there is a better than 50% chance this will bring him down.

Maybe. He scrapped the pandemic team in 2018. Then the tests they were using (in spite of tried-and-tested better ones being available) didn't work.

Also, they have only managed to test around 6,000 people, while the UK has tested 25,000 and other countries are way ahead (Korea is at 170,000).  This is more concerning.

Not testing means figures for 'cases' are meaningless.  It does not mean 'there are no cases' if no large scale testing is in place.... and with no centralised chain of command to collate data and coordinate efforts, things are not looking like they got off to a good start. Plus 28% of people have no easy access to any healthcare and, oh yeah - with no statutory sick pay rules, people have an incentive to go to work rather than stay at home if they are ill.

America is at risk of being found systemically ill-prepared.

I am guessing we are about to see how a lack of a universal care system (not the norm in first world countries) works in a real time experiment.

Then again if it is #justaflu, I am sure it will all be OK and Trump will come up smelling of roses, he seems just the man for the job.

EDIT: @HM I think you covered a little extra than I first read - and better than I did.

Trump will go down together with his Titanic stock market, his comedia del arte energy indepency and be shot midship by the little critter with bubble needles!

UPDATE:
Quote
The situation in Italy: March 8, 2020, 6.00 p.m.
POSITIVE 6387
DECEASED 366
HEALED 622

Press conference of the Head of Civil Protection Angelo Borrelli at 6 pm on 7 March:

7375 people who contracted the virus, currently positive 6387, 366 died and 622 recovered.
Among the 5061 positives:

2180 are found in home isolation
3557 hospitalized with symptoms
650 in intensive care

A lot more infected than registered... .

A couple of graphs I made myself on the John Hopkins University Database

Please note the logarithmic scale.

No someone explain me:

  • What's wrong with Italy? (More death than any other countries, considering Positives: i.e. fatality rate?
  • What's wrong with Germany (Positives in line with other countries, no deaths)
  • What's wrong with US/UK (Very few death considering the positives)

Fatality Rate computed for your convenience:

Code:
Region   Positives  Death  P/D
China    80652      3070   3.81%
Italy    7375       366    4.96%
Germany  799        0      0
Spain    500        10     0.02%
US       2584       16     0.62%
UK       206        2      0.97%

I had coloscopy once, without any meds or narcotics. I certainly didn't enjoy it, but it also wasn't a very bad experience at all. A couple of kinda numb feeling pinch-like shoots of light to medium pain sensations, nothing that gets you worried. The "hose" is 10mm thin, so even thinner than an index finger.
Get over your fears and get it done. Don't worry you might enjoy it, because you won't.
Taking pills before coloscopy is something for the ladies  Grin
(sorry ladies, no offense)

EDIT: Just saw the dump. Unexpected, but not that of a surprise, too. #hodl on!

Civilized colonoscopies are done with intravenous diazepam, inducing a dreamlike half sleep which allows you to watch the procedure on the monitor without any discomfort. You don't even feel the insertion.

The worst part is the day before, evacuating your colon with a gallon of disgusting fruit-flavored laxative/electrolyte solution and shitting increasingly lighter-colored liquids until it's clear.

F*ck that, i had to swallow 25g of mannitol (a sugar, used in some sugarfree chewing gums), dissolved in two litres of water.
No defined taste at all. But i suffer from fructose malabsorption and didn't know that back then, as well as i can't digest mannitol and sugar alcohols because of that.
The thing itself was acceptable as an experience, but the rest of the day was a nightmare because of the malabsoption effects.
And for the diazepam: I only do real drugs, and never intravenous Wink

La dame du chateau had to do it just two days ago. She also found the worst part the day before having to drink the disgusting liquid. And I think they used some form of diazepam in the operation here, because afterwards she was a little sleepy off... .

The year is 2021, it’s November & the cold, dark nights are starting to close in & 1BTC is $154,000. Most of the WO’s have cashed in a significant % of their BTC. It’s been a crazy roller coaster since the end of 2020.

Boblawblaw is chilling on his ranch, wiping his ass with $100 bills.

micgoossens married cryptoqueeen in the Maldives, he owns 50 Michelin Star Restaurants across the world.

JJG regularly drives his Lambo around LA, banging chicks & doing blow still writes wall of text on every single page of the WO, trying to figure out, what he tries to figure out always.  Tongue  Roll Eyes

V8 lives in a $12,000,000 countryside estate.

......................

Fill in the rest Wink

Didn't filled in anything, but I did correct one....  Grin

What a hater.    Tongue Tongue Tongue

 Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

It 's called "Antwerp humor" JJG, nothing bad intentions in it, just a bit, well, egh, Antwerp humor!  Cheesy Cheesy Wink Wink
