1  Other / Meta / Re: Is it useful to publicly state password changes on accounts? on: July 02, 2015, 11:38:42 AM
I see sometimes that it seems to be that users on bitcointalk can guess pretty good which accounts were sold in an auction that ended. Simply because the forum shows them the accounts with changed passwords. So what i wonder if thats a feature that makes sense. Password changes does happen when the forum was hacked too and when someone is uncertain about if an account was hacked, he can ask for signing an address that was posted some time ago. It would be more important that "Edited" notes would be there, which i lately miss somehow. Might be only because of editing too fast though.
So what are your thoughts? Is it a good thing to show that the password was changed lately?
There should be some sort of logs such as last failure account login, so that moderators can easily know that how many times the hacker guessed and try with brute force passwords. And also regards to your question that, yes it is a good thing to show that the password was changed, at least the victim will com to know that his/her account has been hacked.
2  Other / Meta / Re: Is the proper abbreviation for the forum 'BTT' or 'BCT'? on: July 02, 2015, 11:29:44 AM
I always see our members are using BCT and it looks also nice to represent BC as Bitcoin and T as a talk so, BTC as a Bitcoin Talk. However you can edit and create a poll to see how many of our members prefer BTT or BTC, that would be really fun, looking forward to your poll Smiley

7  Other / Meta / Re: Anyone have the same problem? on: July 02, 2015, 10:28:19 AM
No, I haven't face such problems yet, everything is going well and good with bitcointalk.org while login with browser. I guess you are using TOR Network, if yes then it gives such problem and ironically fonts will become small of a sudden, though the setting in option remain intact, perhaps try to avoid the size of browser to the max and keep it to the default size.
8  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin and Porn on: July 02, 2015, 10:17:36 AM
Where we are going, Well it is not a strange news that bitcoin payment has been accepted by porn sites, as everyone knows that bitcoin popularity has emerging and growing day by day, my point here is about the title, it self read like as of watching porn.
9  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Buying Bitcoin through Paypal (very high positive feedback) on: July 02, 2015, 09:56:53 AM
Rate is 1:1
if the amount is smaller than $50, this seems to me good  and I will contact you whenever I required to do any transaction exchange, however do you have any other methods other than Paypal, My banking transactions always face bit difficult related to the amount of fees they charge(somewhat hidden) while doing transactions with paypal.
10  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Bitcoin <--> GoldMoney on: July 02, 2015, 09:44:33 AM
If I open my GoldMoney Holding and begin buying the precious metals today, will it be tax free while exporting or importing to another country and will it reach without any restriction pertaining to the law in their respective countries, so many questions on my mind about GoldMoney, although seems good, but have some risk factor too.

My 10$ PP for your 8.50$ BTC
skype: sander.walkthroughs
I really stop doing my payment or transactions with paypal, I have mentioned my reason here:
(PP) Paypal is Sooo Big that they are a constant target of fraud, phishing and spam scams. Even if you do not use paypal you likely get mails saying your account has been suspended. Many people login to scammer sites and unknowingly provide the crooks with their account information. This makes fraud high and the system vulnerable to charge backs and bad transactions.

15  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: selling 0.20 btc for western union im paying western union fees on: July 02, 2015, 08:53:50 AM
I have seen your posting in another thread, aren't you spreading scam here, don't you have any useful work to do despite of wasting our time, I honestly click your post since I thought it would be serious discussion, but it is not worthy one.
16  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Trade with Caution: Use Escrow on: July 02, 2015, 08:48:06 AM
Once upon a time, escrow accounts were optional for almost all borrowers. These days, lenders require escrow accounts on all loans with less than 20 percent down. Without an escrow account, the borrower must exercise disciplined savings practices, or face the consequences when the big tax bill comes due. If you do not have an escrow account, but you want one, most lenders are happy to put one in place for you. However, once you have an escrow account and decide you no longer want it, it can be tough to get rid of it.

18  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTB 20$ BTC .. GiftCards / BoA Transfer on: July 02, 2015, 08:32:34 AM
Few information about Giftcards:

Gift cards that are lost or stolen may mean the consumer loses out. A thief has access to all the money on the card, However, if you've registered the card, you may get some of your money back, but you also may be charged a fee, Gift cards issued with Visa or MasterCard logos are protected by credit card laws. And state laws governing gift cards also can add a layer of protection, including requiring more disclosures or the right to redeem a card for cash, according to the Consumers Union.
