1  Economy / Economics / Re: How will financial crisis affect crypto? on: January 04, 2021, 07:51:26 AM
Next financial crysis will come, that can't be avoide it's part of the cycle. Maybe this time people will be more prepared and cryptocurrencies are one of the options that is available to them. But I don't expect that we will see mass usage of Bitcoin as a back up in crysis because on a global scale still isn't adopted and recgonized enough and many people are still reluctant to use it.
But still I think that the use of Bitcoin when crysis appears will increase and that will also influence the price in positive way.

Yes I agree with you. Financial crisis is no doubt inevitable however, despite financial downtrend, this then gives opportunities for digital currency to get more recognized by the public sector and be used in the market. We must take this crisis as an opportunity to adapt to change positively.
2  Economy / Economics / Re: Economy after COVID-19 on: December 28, 2020, 03:09:26 PM
With the ever-increasing need for social distancing, people are recurring to online payments and e-commerce sites. The longer it takes to find a cure for the disease, the faster our world will change economically. During the pandemic, people will be using credit/debit cards more than physical cash itself. It's no wonder since physical cash is known to carry germs and bacteria with them.

Now, imagine an scenario where the cure for COVID-19 have been found while people are directly attached to the online world. The economy might never be the same as before, since people will start to value intangible items over tangible ones more thoroughly. A world where everything is digitized or "tokenized" seems to be the economy of the future. By then, each country will have its own CBDC living alongside traditional cryptocurrencies we know and love today. China might be the first country to launch a CBDC, followed by the US and several other countries. The launch of government-backed digital currencies wasn't a subject that heavily touched by world leader before the pandemic. Now that coronavirus encourages social distancing, things will accelerate quite a bit in the development of CBDCs for the whole world to use.

How do you think the economy will be after COVID-19's demise? Will it gradually recover? Or will it stay the same? Will central banks collapse to a point where only people transact with decentralized cryptocurrencies in the free world? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Smiley

This posted topic is remarkable as it gives a clearer picture of the aftermath of COVID-19 pandemic. In support to this claim, I also agree that the economy will not be the same as the "normal" due to many walk-in job closures because of the adverse impact of the virus crisis particular to our source of income and livelihood. Despite the possibility that the future that awaits is foreseen to be "digitized", I still believe that this may unlikely be applicable to every country. As I am residing to a less-digitized country, I witness that some struggle in adapting to the digital world to secure job opportunities during this time of pandemic. They'd rather want to go back to their normal lives and make money through walk-in jobs than adopt something which is beyond their means.

But then again we must still adhere to what must be done in response to the current needs of our situation. There is no wrong with adapting to change. Smiley
I look forward to your positive response about this input. Thank you! Smiley
3  Economy / Economics / Re: I lost my job, how about you guys? on: December 27, 2020, 01:32:12 AM
Everything is unstable as long as there is a pandemic. Businesses halted operations due to supply problems. Supplies for a specific business takes too long to arrive beacuse of the tight security and of course shipment crews needs to be quarantined everytime they cross borders. That is why small businesses are affected and we workers as well. I know the only thing that will help me survive this crisis is cryptocurrency that is why I am active here again because fiat had failed me.

What is your story with fiat and cryptocurrency during pandemic? This is again the battle of centralized and decentralized assets and activity in the middle of a crisis. In your own experiences and opinion which of the two will win?

Today's pandemic has brought drastic and dramatic changes particular to many business companies. Same situation in our country, some workers became unemployed from private companies and decided to look for job opportunity via online. I am one of those workers who have lost their jobs due to the negative impact of COVID and I got so lucky because in the midst of, me, being unemployed, I have been able to continue working through here.

Thank you so much for opening up about this issue because I am certain, many people also experience losing their jobs because of COVID crisis, the same way we do.

However, despite unemployment from walk-in companies and agencies, we are still lucky and blessed because we have various job opportunities via online that await for us to try and explore.  Wink
4  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Blockchain Replace Banks? on: July 30, 2019, 06:13:44 AM
The creation of blockchain came with possibilities and predictions of a future where intermediaries could be eliminated entirely. It is capable of executing millions of transactions within seconds at a lower transaction cost and requires no centralized authorization.

With the blockchain trend going on as strong as the moment, is it possible that blockchain will replace banks any time soon in the future?

More here: https://www.hb-wallet.com/post/2018/12/20/can-blockchain-replace-banks

The possibility that blockchain will replace banks will be almost impossible because the bank is the mainstream of all transaction all over the world, even in the 3rd world country. Blockchain is high tech, but it doesn't mean that it will take over or replace the old tradition banking system. Theirs a possibility that blockchain can be the top transaction system, but it will never replace bank.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will cryptocurrency soon be an alternate payment option? on: July 29, 2019, 01:20:43 PM
Just a month ago, giants like Starbucks, Nordstrom, Whole Foods, and AT&T announced that they accept cryptocurrency as a payment option.
With the  popularity that cryptocurrency is growing there is no doubt that it will soon be among other payment methods. Especially for the international payments, with its ridiculously low fee and time taken for inter-border transfers it is surely the favorite among the traders.
Also, with giants accepting it as a payment option there is no other need to prove its authenticity.

Yes, many companies will accept bitcoin as payment methods because this giant or well- known company accept it so it means that the small company will follow their footsteps. There are some many opportunities that bitcoin can make and these payment methods are one of the best of bitcoin's capability.
6  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do traders make more money than holders? on: July 26, 2019, 05:35:08 AM
There are both pros and cons of being a trader and a holder.

Being a trader is more risky than just holding your coin but the profit will be higher if you are a good trader. High risk = high reward as they say so being a trader make more money but the risk is higher too. This is the reverse of being a holder. The risk are lower but the reward will be lower too. In conclusion, traders make more money compare to holders.

Yes, I agree with you. There are always pros and cons of being a trader and a holder. In trading, it always depends on what crypto are you trading and holding. So if its the same crypto and same amount, I think it will come to your skills, analysis and also situation. Trader focuses every minute to make sure they can profit more, but holders are not, at the same time they might busy in other things and less focus on the price of their cryptos.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is for scammers, yea right! on: July 25, 2019, 04:45:34 AM
my neighbor ask about trading, "can you make and withdraw money from trading?" and i said, yes i can. but he still unbelieve and ask more and more the same question. so i explain basic of trading.
actually they just less information about bitcoin, what they know is negative news, so they called it scam.

Yes, your right, I have the same issues. When they ask a question about bitcoin and answer it correctly, they keep asking and asking and ended up repeating the same problem. After that, they will still say that bitcoin is a scam,  I keep telling them that is not a scam other people use it to make some scam, but the bitcoin itself is not and if you want to know about bitcoin make your evaluations so that you have more information about it.

9  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: want trade by bot what do you think are you with bots or not on: July 23, 2019, 08:22:55 AM
want trade by bot what do you  think  are you with bots or not
i have idea to link my bot to indicators like rsi example if it hit 20 buy if   hit 60 sell something like this

That's the usage of a bot; you will just set your rate when it buys and when it will sell. I mostly use some bot in trading because I can't focus on trading because of some matters. But you must take note that if you want to have a higher profit is much better to concentrate on trading than depending on the bot.
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Pacquiao Now Stands as Favorite vs Thurman — Sportsbooks on: July 21, 2019, 05:26:43 PM
I could not watching live match because it wasn't available on my local channel tv and only can watching through youtube for the first round when Pacquiao knock out Thurman and apparently after that Pacquiao can dominated almost for every rounds

He did dominate in the early rounds but in the later rounds it was Thurman, if the fight goes round 15 if possible, LOL.. Pacquiao might loss as he got tired.
The result was a split decision because Thurman was agressive in the 7th round and onward and I think it was judge fairly.
Yeah, the knockdown in the first round gives Pacquiao a huge point on that, and if that never happens I think that Pacquiao might lose. But on the other side, I think Pacquiao just play surely because of what happens in the first round and not aggressively. Anyways good fight and congrats to Manny Pacquiao.
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You cannot win in gambling on: July 20, 2019, 09:34:30 AM
I just had a really bad day gambling today with Roma losing a ticket for me and their odd was 1.20 and they were playing against the last place of Italian Serie A. I thought a bad day and move on and played another ticket this time I choose Brondby as they were playing at home against a team they had beaten almost always and the odd was 1.35. This was even worse as Brondby lost 2-4 at home to a team quoted from the bookies at 8.5

Now I am not an expert in gambling but this day was a really eye opener for me, you can never win in gambling. Imagine when you can't win in lotto , soccer betting or whatever you call it, you don't have a chance in slots.

You can still win but the odds if much lower than you will imagine especially in lotto, and other games that only one winner will take it all. But there are still some games that you can even win, and the odds are much higher. But I'm telling you that you must gamble for fun and excitement not for sure money, because once you think that every wage you make is equal to sure money, then you will be right that you can't win in gambling.

12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Makes Bitcoin Valuable? on: July 15, 2019, 05:17:37 PM
The Bitcoin Standard is the first book I've ever read to simply explain the properties that make money valuable.

If there were such a thing as a 'Bitcoin University', Satoshi's white paper would be covered on day one, and this book would be covered on day two.

Get up to speed on your Bitcoin education.

Bitcoin is valuable because of the limited stocks, decentralized, potential, transparency, acceptance, and many more. It is limited to an estimated 21 million. Decentralized, so that is open to all and away from a single administrative. Potential to become and develop in the future because it is the pioneer of cryptocurrency. Transparency you can always check that transaction in the blockchain and acceptance when the acceptance of bitcoin increase and many companies are willing to accept bitcoin is made bitcoin much valuable.
13  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why trading is unhealthy? on: July 15, 2019, 03:01:35 PM
Have you ever wondered that trading can be bad for your health?

This summer I went to a doctor with some health problems - I had an awful headache. Just to make picture clear - my headache was with me for 15-20 hours per day. So we did some tests showed that I had extremely high blood pressure.
“That’s odd” - I thought. I eat healthy food and I do sports.

I was confused. But the doctor said that it can happen because of stress. So I went to a psychologist to deal with this issue. We were talking about my life and interests. And I told her I trade… I believe I don’t need to continue this story lol

Since I trade a lot (I do. I could even tell this is an addiction). The doctor suggested me not to trade for about a week. That was impossible for me, but I tried. It was hard. It was more than hard. But in a couple of weeks, my headache disappeared.

I still trade but not as much as I used to. Now I practice blockchain games because it’s less stressful. Do I feel myself better? Yes. In July it was so painful so I thought that I will die. Now I don’t feel pain at all.

Conclusion:

I know it’s all individual. Some people trade days and night and they feel pretty good. I just told you my story with my experience. I don’t pursue anyone to stop trading. It’s just important for me to warn some people who can have the same problems.

You know that you can still trade, but you must lessen your time in trading, use some bot to trade so that you will not use or look at your computer at 15 hours per day. I think your headaches come for astigmatism, 15 -20 hours per day is a very long time. But anyways good luck with your health and in trading.

16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin remains the king of Crypto Market? on: July 11, 2019, 05:24:01 AM
Who knows Bitcoin will the Number one in the future? Does anyone know that's bitcoin will still work in the future? I think here a new coin will get the first place in the crypto market. Any coin takes this place. Need more popularity and marketing with a good opportunity.

So, My question is, Will Bitcoin remains the king of Crypto Market in the future?
Bitcoin will be still the king of the crypto, and I think this other coin is a way to far to reach bitcoin's value. But after the facebook announces libra, I guess future coins created by other big establishments have a probability. But for now, bitcoin is still the king.
17  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Risks to consider before trading? on: July 10, 2019, 02:09:42 PM
How many times have I tried to trade, I have always left the market with virtually no profit.  Perhaps I have not devoted enough time to analyze and study the market.  Although it seems as though I have initial knowledge, it is very difficult to navigate.
Well, you are in a very volatile market. I'm sure that you tried many times in trading but don't lose hope. I also, trade many times and many lose but still devoted to trading (My profit is still higher than my loss), and here I am coming back at trading because I know that I can profit more this time and new ideas.

18  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A new kind of scam in telegram using gambling site on: July 10, 2019, 06:18:08 AM
I can see that The scammer in this part is a low class scammers that only trying his luck to ge a victim in an obvious event.promising something but you need to go first is a complete scam and nothing to be trusted.

I have encountered some PM in telegram but I only ignored them ,and sometimes if I find very suspicious?i reported as spam right away so  I can prevented myself being encouraged by scammers

Yeah, this is a low-class scammer and an old technique. Theirs a lot of scammers out there that waiting to victim some ppl that easy to get or lack of knowledge about scamming. Yes, just ignore some PM that you think is very suspicious and don't be pulled easily.
19  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: should i continue trading ? on: July 03, 2019, 10:31:33 AM
It seems to me that today there is no need to consider the question of whether to leave or remain in trade.  If you have already decided to trade once, then you need to continue to work, especially to gain experience and learn more information.  Bad times are always on the cryptocurrency market, but the results depend only on our work.

Yeah, it is right that no need to consider if you will leave or remain in the trading industry. I stop joining to some campaigns lately and focus more on bot trading, and doing my job. But I keep my old technique in trading, sell when high and buy when the value is low, because when the bad times in the cryptocurrency market comes, you should hold.
