Considering Ethereum is the top 3rd trading pair next to USD and BTC, I would say it's a great storage of value coin. Long-term at least. Maybe not in the short run

Hey Pujumba any miners ordered in July will begin mining September 1st.

In the event that a miner breaks down, we are only a short drive away from Bitmain's repair facility so your repair will take just days - not weeks or months.
Since you actually buy a specific miner from us, you will not receive revenue while the miner is being repaired, but since there are no expiration dates on our contracts, you will not actually lose any days of mining. You will just take a short hiatus during the repair and you'll be back on track days later.

Great questions Siddhartha, and thank you for the kind words. Fortunately, we are completely on our own without dependency on any other companies. Our CEO Amir Ness owns the mining facility himself and there is no debt owed on the property. The farm's location in Siberia has very affordable energy prices and the temperatures stay quite cold so we don't need to waste much additional energy on cooling the miners.

You certainly would not have to wait 6 months to start mining with us. We place monthly orders, or "batches", of miners so you will typically start mining about 4 weeks after purchase.

Tupsu, I understand that this is unprecedented, but it's true. When you buy a miner from Elevate Group, you own it. The agreement between the investor and Elevate Group does not have a termination date, and we are motivated to keep your miner alive as long as possible so we continue to take our 20% of the revenue generated.

The disadvantages of most altcoins is that they dont actually do anything. What is the purpose of having 1,000 clones of Ethereum? They all function the same, look the same, smell the same. Ditch them.

That's an interesting theory and you might just be right. We saw the same kind of price action when ASIC mining was introduced into other majors such as DASH.

Don't get fooled by short term price action. Whether it's amazing or horrible, it doesn't provide any indication of a greater trend. It simply serves to stress everyone out.

There is no future for the carbon copy digital coins that serve no purpose. For example, Dogecoin. But still, Dogecoin may outperform a lot of other coins just because of its community and popularity.

I think that John McAfee is visibly on drugs, as well as very open about his drug use, so I think this hurts his credibility. He is also an old man with nothing to lose so I don't think there is any reason to believe his analyses

I don't think that Ethereum itself is vulnerable to being hacked. Countless independent parties have audited the blockchain and the smart contracts without reporting vulnerabilities.

Either way, you will have to use MyEthereWallet or a similar site even if you are using a Ledger/Trezor. They are just safer ways to store your private keys than .keystore files or seed phrases.

It is a correction my friend. There was too much excitement in Q4 2017 and it was not sustainable growth. Ultimately the market needed to come back to healthy levels.

This is true but are these people really interested in being fiat millionaires?? It seems if they are participating in bounties for long term holds then they are believers in the death of fiat, no?

I think that Siacoin looks like a very strong investment but nobody can be sure of the prices next year. It could be huge, or it could be a major flop. Do your own research for fundamental analysis.

I really do not like the current practice of ICOs requesting KYC. You never know who is running these ICOs and who has access to the information submitted. Stay safe
