4  Economy / Scam Accusations / [SOLVED] Cryptorefills scam? on: May 15, 2021, 04:28:38 PM
Today i have bought a 5€ amazon voucher with LTC and i received it very fast (under 10mins).
But then i have tried buying a 25€ voucher with BTC and i haven't received it yet after 5 confirmations (1 hour).
At this point i think it's gone.

I'll try contacting them but i think they won't reply, as another guy wrote they don't reply to emails.

My advice is to buy very small vouchers from them, with altcoins.
Ltc worked for me.

Pretty scammy guys anyway

Ok. You do not understand
And don't you intend to explain it? I don't think anyone will understand what you're talking about.

Hes looking to get dirty paypal funds discounted it seems

Stolen pp funds are worth less, because the real owner can charge back.

This guy is deluded, he's not even going to cash out those funds, because paypal AFAIK won't let you spend the received funds for a while,  21 days maybe?
https://www.paypal.com/us/brc/article/funds-availability
Quote
How long will PayPal hold your funds for?
Your funds are usually held for up to of 21 days. However, there are several things you can do to expedite this timeline.

In that long time span, the chargeback can happen
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Gold +40% !! on: May 06, 2021, 05:57:55 PM
Well, we are in the middle of the bull run so it is not a surprise when a coin increases unusually.

I am holding Pet coins which increases more than 100% in the last week. I can also name several coins that earn drastically in a past few days: SONM, DOGE, Telcoin, ethereum classic, etc. We have so many coins to watch by now

Yeah but if what i said about fundamentals is true, this is insanity.

BTG is practically abandoned by devs and has no marketing.
It seems also that there are people mining it with FPGAs, so it's not even a "BTC fork with decentralized mining" as the team described it.

And still it pumps, which doesn't make sense.
At least DOGE pumps because of marketing.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Bitcoin Gold +40% !! on: May 06, 2021, 11:15:29 AM
Dogecoin -11% today, despite billionaires marketing it.

But Bitcoin Gold? +40% and it has NO fundamentals and NO marketing!
And Bitcoin Diamond? +30%

Why does it perform better than other projects with actual fundamentals and marketing? ( e.g. ZCash or Kyber Network to name a few )
Please explain this because i am confused, thank you

The "gold" and "diamond" in the name is the key ( just kidding ofc ).
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [HAVE] EUR Amazon Virtual Gift Cards [WANT] Altcoins on: February 26, 2021, 02:38:18 PM

Interesting.
How about boiling the water after collection and the silver part in order to be extra sure? Or you think this is not necessary and the water will be very safe to drink?
I have read about killing germs with copper, don't know about silver. I wonder how effective both will be in keeping water free from germs.

Boiling the water can help to eliminate any parasites, germs and bacteria but the water may contain polluted particles like heavy metals and chemical substances which needs certain purification before making it completely safe to drink.

Heavy metals and chemicals, can be filtered by soil.

Germs, parasites etc. can be eliminated with copper and i think silver as well. Ancients used that.
Boiling the water works, but ruins the pH.
Must be around 7 to be ideal for drinking, and boiling it will drop it below 6.5
14  Economy / Speculation / Bull run: will it end in May? on: February 10, 2021, 01:06:54 PM
The first two runs ended exactly one year after the mining reward halving.
E.g. December 2016 => Dec. 2017

IMO it will be the same this time, May 2020 => May 2021

So we shall assume the price the BTC will have in May will be the maximum for this cycle?
Should we sell in May?
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: DEX w/o KYC: Bisq or Atomex on: February 10, 2021, 01:01:40 PM
Hello,

I want to swap some BTC to altcoins without doing KYC: did you try Bisq or Atomex?

Thank you!

SRin1week

If you mind KYC, beware of Binance, i have been asked mandatory KYC one year ago, after about one year i was using it.
Even though my volume has been very very low since the beginning.

So they probably ask you KYC as well, even if you have low volume.

I would go for Bisq, and try to put your Limit order in the middle between Bid and Ask to match the right price, and wait a few days.

I have no idea. I just know it worked out particularly well for this guy.
What? 65-75 grant for that rolex? now i know why OP did made this post, this maybe His inspiration for trying to invest in rolex watch.

But if rolex from 120$ to 75 Grant for more than 50 years , what if Bitcoin will reached a hundred thousand for the next 10 years now? does it means much better investments?

Well, i don't want to follow that guy because i want to get rich before getting old Cheesy

About BTC vs watches vs gold etc., i would invest in all of them.
You never know if you get rekt from cryptos, at least you have other assets

For the preppers prepping to live off grid.
Let me know if it can work

Great idea short term and if you don't trust local water.  But don't put any long term reliance on rainwater in any one area.  We have no idea how climate patterns will change.

There are seasons, that it won't rain a single droplet  in a full month.
That may be the problem you refer to.

So i think you need dozens and dozens of vases to collect enough water for one full month in just a few hours of raining.
You need to be able to collect at least 30-40 Lt when it rains, to be prepared to one month of drought. (Plus the water for showering)

And when you need to drink, you fill a glass and purify it with silver at the moment.
18  Other / Off-topic / Re: Get drinkable water from rain on: February 07, 2021, 04:01:11 PM
This could work, but sounds like a lot of work. I think there are more efficenct ways to use rain water. My grand dad is collecting the rain water for years for his garden. He doesn't really filter it and only uses it for his plants, washing and showering and sometimes for cooking. Once you boil it you kill all the bad stuff anyway. It is quite important to have a large area to collect water from. Also there are already filters you could use directly for the water.
For showering, washing the clothes and gardening ok.
But now rain water has toxins from pollution.
Your grandad had not this problem decades ago.

And the filters you mentioned probably are not natural/safe and i prefer to stick with nature possibly.

But we may discuss. Post an example filter please.

Boiling the water I'm reluctant. I've read it screws the water up, due to change in its ions or something like that.
I have still to get info on this, but I'm sure you don't get the most out of the water in that way.
19  Other / Off-topic / Re: Get drinkable water from rain on: February 07, 2021, 08:52:21 AM
I don't know why need these steps when we can drink Rain water directly , Since my Military training and even when i'm in Secondary , i drink rain water many times but i have not taste the Saltiness ? instead its richer for me .
In 21st century the rain water is not completely safe to drink directly but in emergency situation it is okay but not for regular basis because the water get more acidic nature due to the pollution so it is mandatary to filter them before drinking it. But how long this filtration will works?

Sooner the soil will get clogged with the dirt so need to replace the soil after a while of usage. Smiley

That's the point, i would not drink rain directly these days, with all that geoingeneering and other pollution.

Also i think you don't need to replace the soil if there is a plant on it.
The plant roots will clean the soil from pollutants by absorbing them
20  Other / Off-topic / Re: Get drinkable water from rain on: February 06, 2021, 11:41:03 PM
I think it will become a better explanation if you have better visuals. I haven't thought about it having plant above as a filter. What we have before are those mineral and rocks when I was young.

It cleans the water that we put that comes from the tap.

But I've seen this kind of filtering somewhere in Japan but they put something on the water to make it cleaner.

The filtering is made by the soil , not the plant.
The plant serves to clean the soil from toxic chemicals. Because plants metabolize them.

The fact that you get clean water from wells, is thanks to the fact the water passed through several meters of soil and got filtered.
That's why you get drinkable water from deep in the ground.

Using rocks under the  tap means you are not living off grid.
I will look into rocks though. But you need special rocks that you can't find anywhere.
They are found in the seabed.
