1  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: After changes where can I buy crypto for GBP making a UK bank transfer? on: August 25, 2019, 11:57:24 AM
Coinbase does not do this anymore, you have to use EUR etc. Where can I buy crypto for GBP using a bank transfer and what is happening with the Coinbase?
There is this company which uses faster payment in the UK, they have been around for a few years and the fees are no different to Coinbase.  https://bittylicious.com/

No idea what is going on with Coinbase, seems like more banks are turning against Crypto which limits what Coinbase can offer.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: will the price of coin be up soon? on: February 18, 2019, 04:47:51 PM
Would be nice if alts went up a decent bit before bitcoin so we can sell a few alts into bitcoin before it takes off.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: New Exchanges vs Old Exchanges on: February 17, 2019, 08:39:16 AM
Stex is a pretty decent exchange with a nice variety of coins and a very easy to use mobile app.
4  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: getting bitcoin on: February 14, 2019, 08:47:30 PM
How do i get a bitcoin from forum ?
the forum is offering something for thing Huh
i do not have money now
how do i get it ??

You will need to carry out some work for bitcoin, nothing is free I am afraid.  As others have mentioned you can join signature campaigns once your rank increases, you can also sell some skills or service if you have either.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATM's on: February 14, 2019, 07:35:03 AM
A few years ago when you could get 0.06 for £20 I tried one out just for the experience, It was smooth and very quick although the 6% charge was a bit much.  There are many more options nowadays to get some bitcoin, I would like to try the reverse btc to fiat but I guess the fee will be quite high?
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptopia Marketplace Problem!!!! on: February 13, 2019, 04:55:26 PM
There were some coins in my cryptopia marketplace. On January 14th, I could not enter the marketplace and I could not even trade my coins, what can I do for that? Can anyone help me?
Cryptopia had a bit of a hacking issue and lost some coins as we know, all you can do is open a support ticket with them and hope that you are one of the lucky ones that can get their coins back.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will cryptocurrencies be able to use for payment? on: February 13, 2019, 07:18:00 AM
Lots of blockchain team have developed blockchain and cryptocurrency for payment.

Will cryptocurrencies be able to use for payment?

Will it be useful and convenience?

Which coin do you think the best for payment in the near future?
You can already use many cryptocurrencies for payments,if you are meaning when will crypto become widely used by everyone then this is a good few years away yet.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to your tokens when you're gone one day? on: February 12, 2019, 07:19:05 AM
Just recently, a news showed how one crypto whale died with his cryptocurrencies worth millions of dollar. No member of the family had access to his private keys and other login details. Are you ready to face the same fate and leave your children or family without having access to your hard earned cryptocurrencies some day to come? Showing your wallet login details to them now can also be risky so what are some of the preparations you are making towards the retrieval of your money when you are gone for life one day?
Suppose you would do it in a similar way to everything else, the only difference is that you would be leaving your private keys and possibly some instructions.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins to invest in for a beginner on: February 11, 2019, 04:57:23 PM
Ive never bought any coins before and am considering opening an account while the coins are low

How would you invest $1000 - 2000

Thanks
I would suggest BTC, ETH, LTC maybe half and then with the other half spend some time checking out some of the other alt coins out there.  I would stay away from ICOs and focus more on coins that are already in existence.

ADK, COVAL, CHBT might be worth a bit of your time.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to coins that peeged their ICO to Ethereum? on: February 11, 2019, 12:47:51 PM
They might move along with ETH but if the project is decent enough it should start to move away into it's own path.  There are a few that have used ETH for the ICO and then broke off onto their own platform.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is it ok to lock your bounty for 4 months on: February 11, 2019, 07:25:01 AM
Ok I received my liker coins this month but unfortunately, I would have to wait for 4 months or the month of May before they let me trade their token, do you think this is ok they never mentioned that they are going to lock for 4 months during the bounty period, what's your thoughts on this?

This is their thread
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5061763
I think it is bad practice to do this, epecially if it was not stated at the start, people have spent time promoting their project expecting their agreed reward.  You cannot just change these things at the end, it is unfair.
12  Other / Archival / Re: What's your all time favorite cryptocoin? on: February 10, 2019, 08:01:36 PM
Up to now, what is your #1 favorite cryptocoin, and why?

If you have a hard time to choose just one, please feel free to post your top 3.

Personally, Bitcoin has always had and will always have a very special place for being the first to get me into the space.

On top of that I like and support several coins of which at the moment my favorite is Tezos (XTZ).
Up to now it has to be ADK and CHBT both coins have been under the radar for a long time and now they are starting to come out, I think this year could see good things for them both.
13  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [LIST] Obtain Criptocurrencies without buying them on: February 10, 2019, 02:12:11 PM
Nice list for those new to the game, same as anywhere, it is near impossible to get anything without doing something.
14  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mistakes need to avoid in day trading on: February 10, 2019, 01:55:08 PM
To successfully day trade you need to have a decent amount of time available, early on I made many mistakes as I was rushing so decided this method was not for me.  If you have the time and skillset I wish you luck.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Everyone agrees that bitcoin rise will help the all crypto currencies to rise? on: February 09, 2019, 09:57:09 PM
From yesterday the price of bitcoin got increased upto $400 due to the speculation of ETF approval by SEC which made all the other crypto currencies to bump with the same level of bitcoin so which shows that if bitcoin prices recover all the crypto currencies will be able to recover.

Do you agree that?
At some point an ETF will be approved shouldn't really be a reason for everyone to go crazy, it could be many years from now if it does actually happen in the way everyone wants.  As usual when bitcoin goes up everything else follows, we are yet to see an alt that makes it's own path away from bitcoin so until then they'll rise and fall together.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEM is struggling on: February 09, 2019, 04:43:34 PM
We've heard about exchanges and crypto projects cutting staff, and to some extent, we all assumed the sh*t projects would be going down under these testing conditions.  But NEM, a somewhat underrated project, has announced it's running out of funding.

https://cryptomenow.com/major-cryptocurrency-project-nem-only-has-a-month-of-runway-left/
I am a long time supporter of NEM and as sad as it is to see it in trouble, pretty much everyone is in the same boat, hopefully soon we will see this about face.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ether or altcoins? on: February 01, 2019, 05:21:00 PM
Hey guys what do you think? Is it better to hold ether or altcoins? I think alts are better because they can give you more profit, however it is quiet risky to hold them.
I think if you can you should hold both ETH and a selection of ALTs.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No Regrets in cryptocurrency on: January 28, 2019, 05:37:26 PM
Regrets will cause stress, especially when there isn't a single thing you can do about it.  Best way to look at it is as a lesson learned.
19  Economy / Services / Re: ★★★ [OPEN] DD Signature Campaign ★★★ on: January 28, 2019, 07:14:32 AM
Everyone in this thread need to see OP was tagged by DTs,because OP is an alt from a scam site. For more info : Alt of DuckDice.io which was tagged for scam

Promoting scam also is untrustworthy so everyone need to remove their signature before getting tagged by DT members.
Thanks for highlighting this.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think abot ico new projects? on: January 28, 2019, 12:29:47 AM
I think a lot of ICOs will face a lot of scrutiny now from potential investors, especially when the SEC have been investigating and arresting creators that are trying to scam people.

I hope that the huge wave of scams will start to disappear and we can bring some legitimacy to those projects that are real and are actually trying to do something new.
