1  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Need more bitcoin methods on: March 25, 2017, 07:50:06 PM
Do you have any skills that you could offer? Freelancing could give a decent pay, in that case. Faucets give so extremely small amounts, that they are not worth your time. You could try trading if you have some money to invest, but if you make a bad decision it could backfire and you could end up losing money. There are also signature campaigns, but they require that you have been active on the forums for quite some time, and also that your posts meet a certain standard.
2  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Can someone give a review? on: March 25, 2017, 07:46:39 PM
If it seems too good to be true, then it most likely is not true. I would recommend not investing, as it most likely is a scam. The WOT scorecard is not especially positive either: https://www.mywot.com/en/scorecard/zooo.cc?utm_source=addon&utm_content=rw-viewsc
3  Economy / Speculation / Re: Shall we hold bitcoin for now ...wil price rise in future on: March 25, 2017, 06:44:08 PM
You shouldn't trust online strangers with your money like that. Gather as much information you can by yourself, then make your own decision. And most importantly, never invest more than you can afford to lose (always be prepared for the worst case scenario - Bitcoin crashing).
4  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to get notifications on Bitcoin, Altcoins price changes on: March 25, 2017, 06:41:54 PM
You could always add some kind of tracker that always shows the current price. For example, if you are running Windows you could download Rainmeter and use this old skin that I wrote long ago (I cannot promise that it still works, but you could always adjust it so it does if it doesn't):

Code:
; Lines starting ; (semicolons) are commented out.
; That is, they do not affect the code and are here for demonstration purposes only.

5  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin in a bubble right now? on: March 23, 2017, 07:21:47 PM
It might go down to around that price, but the trend has in the long rong always been that the price has been increasing. I think we are faced with two possibilities. Either the price continues to follow that trend, i.e. continues to increase, or something really major (larger than the fork or regulations, Bitcoin is resilient enough to survive those) happens and it crashes/dies out.
6  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why people care less about iraq and syria? on: March 23, 2017, 04:11:26 PM
Iraq and Syria still gets more attention than other places, mainly because it still affects the western world (e.g. immigrants and terrorists). How many cares about the fighting and starvation in South Sudan, for example?

Thing is, people are egoistic at heart. They care mainly about things closer to them, as they have a higher chance of actually affecting them.
7  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Getting started with Bitcoin on: March 23, 2017, 03:12:35 PM
Software wallet is in most cases the best alternative. Using an online wallet, you do not control your coins in the same way. To buy bitcoins, you could try an exhange operating in EU like Kraken or Safello, or you could try to find someone to buy from using LocalBitcoins.

Cex.io is ok for me but it requires a selfie with my ID and photos of my ID. Is it safe?

I haven't used them myself so I cannot say for sure, but it should probably be safe. I think that all exchanges operating legally within the European Union have to require ID, so either you will have to provide it or, if you value your anonymity, buy the bitcoins directly from another person (using LocalBitcoins for example).

9  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do you convert cash to bitcoin anonymously? on: March 23, 2017, 05:54:46 AM
Unless you have some sort of contacts that you can sell to or buy from, your best bet is most likely finding someone willing to trade cash for bitcoins on LocalBitcoins. Depending on where you live that may or may not be easy, for example there is no one selling where I live and I would have to travel at least 200 km to buy or sell with cash.
10  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Gay Marriage and Adoption on: March 23, 2017, 05:51:08 AM
I am against both gay marriage and adoption by gay couples. There is no meaning of performing a marriage for the gays, because they are not committed to their partners. An average homosexual (whether married or not) will be having dozens, if not hundreds of sexual partners every year. Marriage makes no difference to them. Also, gay foster-parents are much more likely to abuse children. Although they are less than 2% of the population, more than half of the sexual abuse against the children are done by the homosexuals.

Have you got any source on those statements?
11  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Gay Marriage and Adoption on: March 23, 2017, 05:49:10 AM
The main argue I've heard is that the child will fare badly as a result of it. Whether it is true or not is another question, but I think I saw a local study some time ago that gave that argument some credit. I'm on phone at the moment, so I don't really feel like trying to that study now though (and it wouldn't be in English anyway).

Personally, I am a little bit hesitant, but if it can be proven that a child growing up with parents of the same sex will have an equally good childhood as those coming from a "normal" family, then I do not see any problem with it.

The kids will only fare badly if the society their family belongs to look down on homosexual couples.

Yes, that is entirely true and I think that is the main issue. It is, however, a reality in many places of the world. And while it is indeed bad to punish gay people for other people's wrongdoings, the question remains whether or not we should expose the children to the prejudice and perhaps in some cases bullying that could come with having with having same sex parents.

Where I can change some bitcoins(or litecoins) to cash sweden krone in Stockholm?
BTC->SEK

https://localbitcoins.com/instant-bitcoins/

There are several people both selling and buying bitcoins in Stockholm via Localbitcoins. I would say that is your safest bet.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is getting out? on: March 22, 2017, 05:38:23 PM
Trying to make some cheap money off of FUD and decreasing prices?

No, I am not going to cash out. Bitcoin will persevere, at least for now. There is way too much money invested into Bitcoin and way too many enthusiasts supporting it for it to fail just yet.
15  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to get own bitcoin wallet on: March 22, 2017, 06:32:14 AM
If you do not already know how it should be done, then you lack sufficient knowledge to do it. Creating your own web wallet comes with many challenges that needs to be addressed properly. And as always when money is involved, security is extremely important. If you make a mistake, you could potentially risk all your users' bitcoins. And even if you would succeed, money wouldn't magically come pouring down on you. After all the hard work of creating the wallet, you would have to consider things such as server maintenance and marketing. Therefore I advise against it.
16  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Advice on deleting a wallet... on: March 21, 2017, 08:39:05 PM
Feel free to remove it, but first make sure you have at least one, or preferably several, backup that you know is working. If possible, you backups should be stored offline in another physical location (maybe an encrypted flash drive in a bank vault). How much time you should spend on your backups depends on how many bitcoins you have and how important they are to you.
17  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is there a time limit for BTCs requests? on: March 21, 2017, 08:33:41 PM
It depends a bit on the system. Some sites have time limits for receiving payments, and will not accept any payments after that time period has expired.

However, let's say you have your own wallet, with access to the private keys (like Bitcoin Core or Electrum). Then the short answer is no. This is because the private key for the address will be saved regardless if you receive a transaction or not, as it will be required when you later on want to actually send the money you have received. Also, you can receive an indefinite amount of payments. So as long as you control your private keys, you can receive an unlimited amount of transactions distributed over any period of time.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain and Secure by design on: March 21, 2017, 08:22:50 PM
Will BTC always depend on a blockchain or there is a possibility to get it migrated into a better design?

The blockchain is such an integral part of Bitcoin, I cannot realistically see Bitcoin migrating away from it. Without the blockchain, Bitcoin isn't Bitcoin. However, for all we know there could always come another big digital currency that is inspired by Bitcoin in one way or another, but doesn't rely on a blockchain.
19  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: BTC never arrived. on: March 21, 2017, 06:22:23 PM
Either you made some kind of mistake when making the transaction, or Coinbase is at fault. I have never used them myself so I do not know, but they could be deliberately delaying the payment or there could be some kind of bug. Five minutes isn't that long a time, so I would recommend waiting a bit, but if you still don't see any transaction then I would recommend contacting Coinbase.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: the real Bitcoin debate and why the market always wins on: March 21, 2017, 05:47:27 PM
To me it seems more like a centralized core dev team vs a bunch of chinese miner oligarchs.

In the end, though, I think you are right that the market always wins. That doesn't really equate to whoever has the most mining power, though, but rather where the money of the users is. If more (rich) people wants to buy Core bitcoins that Unlimited bitcoins, then I would say Core wins (or vice versa).
