1. I think that if we are going to spend 500-1000$ a month on servers we should be able to press the price a little.

2. I would like to be a part of the team working with the servers, but i have almost 2 weeks this month where I will be in Italy driving world finals in go kart, so I will not be online that 2 weeks.

Also I am no expert in driving servers, but I would like to give a hand if someone else is in charge (at least in the beginning) as the winter is coming and I don't have much else to do after work.

3. If we are to use 20+ servers, we would need to have the ability to ether clone 1 server out to all the other. Or have some service passing out the chances, from the master server, as it else would be to time consuming (and to big error rate)

Please bear in mind that i am a bit dyslexic.
all the help we can get is appreciated
cssh can deal with dozens of servers at a time
it echoes the command from keyboard to all the servers
so 50 servers would just be 2 batches

Okay, I just read short about cssh, it seems pretty need.

So how long do the poll run before we are getting in touch with some of the server hosting company's?

jl777 just pm me when you have work ready :-)

But i still better like bittrex.

Any one know if its best to buy

btc -> BTCD or BTC -> NXT -> BTCD

Dear Mr. Karlog,

we are awaiting confirmation about your cloud hashing plan, if you prefer 6 months plan or 12 months plan. You may expect to receive access within 1-3 days if you give us confirmation by tomorrow.

About the refund, I have no reports on delays for now even if the BTC price is lower than expected. Last news I got is that further informations will be released on the webiste/newsletter shortly.

Best regards,

Bitmine AG, Bitmine.ch

---------------

Lets hope that he is rigth about that the refund will not be delayed even with the lower btc price :-)

EDIT: BTW i got reply from support in under 6 hours from sending the email o.O :-)

We are currently experiencing a problem with our BTCD wallet and getting withdraws out in large amounts. Your current BTCD withdraw has been cancelled and your coins placed back into your balance.

Please feel free to re-initiate your withdraw in smaller increments until we have this problem resolved.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Sincerely,
Stephanie
Cryptsy.com

.... -.-' SCAM company
This isn't a scam and James posted a few pages back that he has been in contact with Cryptsy and has a theory on the issue they are experiencing.  It does seem that smaller withdrawals are working - they processed 30-odd of mine last night after raising a support ticket, but I haven't tried again today.

It is not a scam...
Withdrawal fees: Bittrex 0.02 and Cryptsy 0.01 per transaction

If I wanted to withdraw 1000BTCD from bittrex it would cost me 0.02 in transaction fees.
If I wanted to withdraw 1000BTCD from cryptsy I would need to issue 20 with draws at say 50BTCD each at a transaction fee of 0.01 per withdrawal for a total of 0.2 BTCD for the 20 transactions. 10 times higher and a hell of a lot more time consuming.

Might not be a scam but it just... well it smells. Sometime you look at a piece of code and you think to yourself... "hmm this just doesn't smell right". Crypsty gives me the same feeling.

What I am eluding to is described here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Code_smell

If cryptsy really care about its customers, then they should make a workaround, and reduce the fees. That way i would still consider using them later down the road, but when i have to use a lot of time and effort to get my coins out && pay a lot in fees... For me it looks like that they just are going for the fast cash.

they COULD behind the seen make that if you take more than x coins out, you pay our normal fee and the split the withdrawal in some smaller potions. I know that it would be better to find the error, but it could work for a short period of time.

But i think that cryptsy like the coins that they are getting by staking so they have all the time in the world.

got a reply from bitmine today:

Dear Mr. Karlog,

yes, the datacentre is operative and as we send more mining units customers will be granted access to their hashing power.

From your position on the list access to you will be granted in a few days, I estimate next friday or monday. We were going to contact you today or tomorrow about your cloud hashing contracts, as we noticed that sending coupons is more complicated than anticipated and arises more questions.

For the amount of 6472,9$ owed to you we propose you:

4,2TH/s for 6 months

or

3,2TH/s for 12 months.

Awaiting confirmation from your side, you may then expect to gain access within 7 days from today.

Best regards,

Bitmine AG, Bitmine.ch

I dont know if i should take the offer or not, ass i will not eanback my USD if i only get 4,2TH/s, on the other hand so is some cash better than no cash back.

If you choose the refund you will never know when and if you get it. The 4.2 THs for 6 month will surely give you some amount back but not all you invested in the end. Try to get refund as early as possible with additional 10% penalty. Or go the easy way and take the hashpower.

In the end, DO NOT THROW ANY MONEY TO SWITZERLAND AGAIN...they scam you with overpriced and underdelivered products.

Edit: Sry, You bought miners or hashing contracs originaly?

I bought a miner back last year.

But the 4.2 THs is just so littel today, compared to 1THs back almost a year ago.

Already 2 weeks passed, and according to the Bitmine.ch they started to mine on their facility located on Iceland, right ?
I think Bitmine.ch gained some BTC , so here is my question: the refunds are resumed ?

Dont think so..

Dear Mr. xxx,

as you may already be aware we are facing some difficulties to process all the refund requests we have received. With this e-mail we would like, first of all, to apologise for the delays you are facing and to thank you for the patience so far.

Given your position in the refunds processing queue and our cash-flow projections, your refund is expected to be processed about on the first half of October, 2014.

We understand this may be a long time to wait for, as such we would like to give you some alternative options that may be available in shorter time:

1) We may restore your order and send it to you with 100% more hashing power than the original order was. That is, if you ordered 1TH/s, you would get 2TH/s. Shipping would usually take place same day or day after we received confirmation from you, anyway not more than 5-7 days.

2) You may convert the amount we owe you (including the 10% penalty) into hosted mining contracts, which will be available from August 15th. More information is available at http://bitmine.ch/hosted-mining-plans-now-available-starting-1gh/

Let us know if you are interested in exploring either of the alternative options, otherwise we kindly ask you to bear some more patience until your refund is processed.

Best regards,

Bitmine AG, Bitmine.ch

AND

Dear Mr. xxx,

hosted mining service started last friday as planned but it will take some days before all mining units are being brought to our datacentre. In the following days you will receive a coupon with the amount owed to you which will allow you to purchase any mining plan you are insterested into. We thank you for your patience until access to your hashing power has been granted.

Best regards,

Bitmine AG, Bitmine.ch

How high do you guys think this coin is gonna go?  Pretty impressive run so far.

Cheers!

ppl are saying top 10 long term, so that's like 400% of the value right now.
16  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: June 19, 2014, 06:24:52 AM
I also tried to call yesterday, no response.  Some sort of holiday in Switzerland, I hope?

"I've got the power, hey, yeah, hey

Like the crack of the whip, I snap attack
Front to back in this thing called rap
Dig it like a shovel, rhyme Devil on a Heavenly level
Bang the bass, turn up the treble

Radical mind day and night all the time
Seven, fourteen, wise, divine
Maniac, brainiac, winning the game
I'm the lyrical Jesse James"

Antagonizing song choice.

I called them yesterday, and they told me that the had some cash-flow problems, but they where refunding 2-3 ppl a day..

The told that they had made a list of ppl that are waiting for the refund, and they are following the list... (according to bitmine)

So I am still dreaming of getting my cash back.   Cool

You talked to them on the phone this week?

Yes i was on the phone with them the 17. of june 2014... dont remember the time.

and the english version:

Dear Sir or Madam,

These last days, CYCO has received a significant number of claims regarding the website bitmine.ch owned by the company Bitmine AG. Indeed, it seems that the company has troubles to deliver their customers and promise reimbursements. After some research, it appears that many other clients complained about the same problem in discussion forums over Internet.

In principle, under Swiss law, a delay in delivery does not necessarily constitute a criminal behavior of the seller. A purchase on the Internet creates primarily a contractual relationship (object against the sale price). If delivery is not made, the Swiss contract law gives buyers different ways to act. They can especially give the seller more time with the threat that if he still does not execute the delivery, they can terminate the contract and ask the money back. There is fraud (art. 146 of the Swiss criminal code), and thus a criminal behavior, when the seller does not intend to deliver/refund its customers. In certain circumstances, courts require a prior verification of the real intention.

Therefore:

- in any case, you can act through the civil process against Bitmine AG, but most of the time it will need a lawyer due to the difficulties of the civil procedure;

- if the conditions of fraud are fulfilled according to Swiss law (art. 146 CP), you have the possibility to file a complaint to the public prosecutor of canton of Ticino (Ministero Pubblico, via Pretorio 16, 6900 Lugano). If you live abroad, you may have also the possibility to contact the competent authorities of your country to file a complaint.

Moreover, as prevention, before making a purchase on the Internet, always check whether other customers have rated the online store concerned. Rogue sites are pilloried by users, often in discussion forums, allowing to warn other potential customers. Such verification can be done by a simple query in a search engine.

Yours faithfully
