Hello, today my PCB board has burned .. so i ended up with something like that (see below). I have filed a support request with Bitmine already, as my CoinCraft Desk is still under warranty, so far no reply. I read on this forum some of you people have got a replacement from Bitmine.ch, is this true?

I have 3 x Desk 1TH and one stopped working (this happened over three months ago), actually got replacement part very very fast and support over skype. So, regardless months delay on actual delivery - RMA procedure was very smooth for me. They sent pcb board and not even requested broken one back. So, it's true! Hopefully you get yours back online smoothly.

My unit mines for 0-60 minutes before dropping all modules, with the fans also turning off. Brand new PSU in there (old one died, but had this problem before the PSU died), logs aren't showing anything of interest and not getting anything from Bitmine.

Remove module number 3 /in the midle of the desk if you got 1Th CCD/ and start CCD. Should run Grin

My temperature sensor does not show up on the web interface. I also noticed that on the lcd screen, when I power up the miner it stays on the "Loading minerosd.." message and it does not display the hashrate, IP and temperature.
Other than that the CCD hashes normally @ 600Gh/s.
Any ideas?

got a reply from bitmine today:

Dear Mr. Karlog,

yes, the datacentre is operative and as we send more mining units customers will be granted access to their hashing power.

From your position on the list access to you will be granted in a few days, I estimate next friday or monday. We were going to contact you today or tomorrow about your cloud hashing contracts, as we noticed that sending coupons is more complicated than anticipated and arises more questions.

For the amount of 6472,9$ owed to you we propose you:

4,2TH/s for 6 months

or

3,2TH/s for 12 months.

Awaiting confirmation from your side, you may then expect to gain access within 7 days from today.

Best regards,

Bitmine AG, Bitmine.ch

I dont know if i should take the offer or not, ass i will not eanback my USD if i only get 4,2TH/s, on the other hand so is some cash better than no cash back.

If you choose the refund you will never know when and if you get it. The 4.2 THs for 6 month will surely give you some amount back but not all you invested in the end. Try to get refund as early as possible with additional 10% penalty. Or go the easy way and take the hashpower.

In the end, DO NOT THROW ANY MONEY TO SWITZERLAND AGAIN...they scam you with overpriced and underdelivered products.

Edit: Sry, You bought miners or hashing contracs originaly?

I bought a miner back last year.

But the 4.2 THs is just so littel today, compared to 1THs back almost a year ago.

They have to wait for new scamable customers before they forward the fresh incoming money to you....as it looks, they delay is caused by no new customers. This story of scammine ist just unbelievable...

And in October they'll say November and so on. It seems unlikely that they'll pay anyone anything.

someone know what to do when the device told you cgminer not connected
i have tried so many things, check the cable, restart so many times. reset it nothing works
i ve also tried to contact bitmine, but there are no reply from them

any help?

thanks in advance

i think is a your cgminer bad config ... check in the mining configuration of web interface the "more option " space ... Do You have in it some strange bad written lines ? ( example if you write --quiet --failover only the cgminer don't connect , connect with --quiet --failover-only option )

My 1 Th/s CoinCraft Desk is dying slowly, only 2 of 5 modules work now stably. Every month one module stops hashing.

After restart cgminer sees more modules (3, 4 or 5), but after some time (seconds, minutes, sometimes hours) remaining modules stop working or became invisible.

Changing voltage or clock speed does not help.

Could it be problem with backplane?

From cgminer log (only 4 modules visible, module 3 stops working after 1 hardware error):

Code:
