2  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why people mostly fail in trading on: January 20, 2024, 09:31:46 PM
Trading isn't a quick way to get rich because it's tougher than it seems. Success lies in knowing the craft, controlling emotions  and managing risks you can afford. Mistakes often come from thinking it's easy or relying on a couple of YouTube video so we should always verify our facts and do not always be impuslive in making decisions
Many misinterpret trading and they thought on making profit instantly without doing any analysis, well I can say that losing is part of your trading journey and you will only realize this once you already experience the losses. If you are a trader, you should start from the bottom and start learning the fundamentals of trading because if you skip this part, you are bound to failed an that is your choice to make.
3  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bakit sa Thailand at hindi sa Pilipinas? on: January 20, 2024, 09:09:31 PM
Ang pagkakaalam ko before nagkainterest naman si Binance to do business here and humarap pa mga si CZ sa mga agencies pero ayun nga maybe because of the restrict policy and the recent issue with SEC, kaya siguro hinde na ito natuloy.

Let’s be more positive and hope na gawan parin ni Binance na magpatuloy dito, at sana bigyan den ng consideration ni SEC para naman sa ikakabuti natings lahat.
4  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The worst situation you're in that you regret that you learn about gambling on: January 20, 2024, 08:48:30 PM
Fortunately, I didn’t regret anything that much because I’m a responsible gambler the moment I start my gambling journey, though sometimes I play with too much emotions and that result into losses but I didn’t regret it. Gambling is too risky, if you are going to spend the money that is not yours that could be your riskiest decision especially if you don’t have the capacity to repay it instantly.
5  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Rollbit stole my withdrawal… please help on: January 20, 2024, 02:18:07 PM
Following a 30-day waiting period advised by Rollbit support, I attempted to reactivate my account without success, I then decided to create a new account, experiencing both losses and, eventually, a notable win.
You was advised to wait for another 30 days to reactivate your account but the site didn't allow you anymore due to the self-exclusion, now you've created your account just to avoid this exclusion and that's a clearly violation of the terms. You should've asked Rollbit first if you can still open an account on their site before doing so, and not you're claiming the site stole your money where in fact they are just implementing their rules. Better to communicate this with the support and asked for a possible consideration.
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Know when to ride and stop! on: January 20, 2024, 01:56:44 PM
~snip~

In my opinion, your strategy uses several techniques from the Martingale strategy, which does not really work as it is understood by beginners. In addition, as I understand your strategy is partly about sensing the algorithm for winning, but not everyone has such sensitivity, and even if they do, we all know that the algorithm can change over time, so I think that this strategy will not allow you to win in the long run, like many other strategies.
Being responsible is still the best approach and for me the best strategy in gambling.
Many already tried a lot of strategies and yet they still failed but look at those responsible gamblers, they are more happy and more contented because they know that gambling is not a good source of profit after especially in the long run. Knowing when to play and stop is important, and that's you being a responsible gambler.
7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto gambling and religious restrictions on: January 20, 2024, 01:01:00 PM
Based on my understanding it is undoubtedly that gambling is haram on their beliefs and we should respect that belief. I am not a Muslim guy but I haven't heard here in our locality wherein they were involved in gambling activities or even online I didn't see one so far. With crypto gambling we really have no idea what religions are involved on there but it is their own decision and risk to do such activities.
Some are true to their faith while the others are not, and seriously in our locals there's a lot of Muslims that are into gambling and due to a not so strict policy or not a strict implementor, they are able to do such kind of activities even if its not allowed based on their faith. I guess they are all humans that can fall into a trap of gambling and there's no religion can be safe from this, because gambling can be done by anyone depends on their willingness to gamble.
8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mental rehabilitation clinic. on: January 19, 2024, 09:22:05 PM
Please note that the patient will resist to the last. He will give counterarguments. For example, that he will get rich in the future, he’s just not lucky yet.
What other arguments do you think the patient will give? How do you respond to these arguments of his?
They are professional enough to handle this kind of situation and of course there will be a resistance, and it's not an overnight rehabilitation.
This will take months or even years before that clinic successfully change the addicted persons, as long as they hire professionals and they maintain the quality of their clinic, I'm pretty sure they will succeed on this. It's hard to say the argument for this one because we are not professionals and doctors to handle addicted gambler, we can only tell general advises but with a good approach, i think only professionals can do this.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Surge in Meme Coins on: January 19, 2024, 09:09:19 PM
The surge in meme coins has been wild, right? It's crazy how these coins like Dogecoin, Shiba Inu, and SafeMoon have gained so much attention and popularity. People are jumping on the meme coin bandwagon, hoping to catch the next big wave. But it's also important to be cautious and do your research before investing in these coins. The market can be quite volatile, and meme coins can be particularly risky. What are your thoughts on this whole meme coin frenzy?
This is a seasonal token where you can make a lot of profit, the risk there but it can be rewarding as well.
Once you are able to catch a good meme token at first and that token pumps 100% then that can be a good profit to you. Some succeed on this while many trap on this, so its a matter of timing when you are going to deal with the meme token and make sure that you can handle it or else you can lose everything.
10  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: No one has gone broke taking profits, always take profits. on: January 19, 2024, 01:03:15 PM
Professional trader will always have their target price and will not be fooled by any FOMO or FUD as they are more focus on their own analysis.
For long term holder of course this can only apply depends if their target profit already hit or they are still willing to hold for more.
The market is very unstable, you have to know your target so you can take advantage of your paper profit and turn it into real profit. Take profit once you're happy, and what ever the amount is, that is still a good profit.
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: GAMBLING DISORDER on: January 19, 2024, 02:52:48 AM
you can try to stay away from gambling, try it for 1 or 2 days and see how you react to it. if you fail several times in your attempts, keep trying until you can control yourself not to gamble. but if this method doesn't work, you can try talking to your parents or siblings about how your gambling addiction is quite serious, maybe they can provide a solution or send you to a psychologist for further examination. i hope that your addiction problem can be resolved.
Don't wait for a worst scenario before opening this up to someone who you trust and who you think can help you.
If you are already in a state of depression and thinking about suicide, its about time to seek personal help. Gambling can be very risky if you are too emotional, that's why its very important for every new comers to be more prepared not just on the money they are willing to lose but also to the emotion stress that gambling might give to you.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dead Coins: Over 50% of Cryptocurrencies Have Failed on: January 18, 2024, 09:48:25 PM
Most of them didn't died because they failed, but most of them are just a scam project who are meant to die instantly after getting what they want and that is not new anymore. Most probably some projects were affected by the pandemic that resulted in stopping their operations. They died in purpose and maybe that is for our own benefit, for us to avoid those projects because they are not worth the risk. Its good that recently, most of the projects are doing great.
13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The PCSO Lotto is shrouded in doubt due to the picture of the winner shown on: January 18, 2024, 09:20:16 PM
Everyday there's a big winner of the jackpot while years ago, this never happened before.
There's a lot of corruption going on here, and our government agency should initiate an investigation here not unless they are also part of this scheme. This is not acceptable at all and imagine, exposing the winners with their edited photo. The lottery system is another way for a corrupt government to spend the public money for their own interest, this should be stopped or else our country will suffer big time.
14  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for January on: January 18, 2024, 08:58:13 PM
I think December was an anxious month, there were ups and downs. But in general, December turned out to be more stable than January. We all know the positive news with the Bitcoin ETF, everyone expected a huge surge in the market, but for some reason the market growth lasted one or two days. I hope this is a temporary phenomenon and January is ready for something more, and the dynamics and sentiment in the market will be better. In general, I think it’s worth the wait and we’ll see more new ATHs on the market.
This is just a temporary trend where many sells based on the news and once they are done, the market will recover eventually. This is actually expected once the news came out since many will take advantage of the FOMO. Now, we are in a consolidation period where Bitcoin needs to survive above the support level so we can continue this bullish trend, I’m still positive for this first quarter and I believe Bitcoin will recover stronger.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling can be a hope restorer if we go about it wisely! on: January 17, 2024, 09:11:01 PM
So winning that money he quickly went ahead to get a new bus to continue his public transport business. From his voice he seems like one whose lost hope has been restored by that single win. Gambling can be a life saver too for it's not as bad as non-gamblers portrays it. To all gamblers' when you get lucky make good use of your gambling win do not chase for double portion.
This can be a life saver once you got the lucky win and spend it wisely, but the probability for this to happen is very low.
If you're broke and experiencing a lot of financial problem, make sure you still have the plan to survive and if you're thinking about gambling, make sure that it will not add up to your financial problem and stay on a budget. There's a lot of lucky gamblers already, and i'd hope they are still enjoy their big profit in gambling.
16  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Sa mga mahilig magairdrop isang paalala at magingat tayo on: January 17, 2024, 08:49:30 PM
Eto ang risk ng mga nagaairdrop aside from fake projects, maari talaga sila maexpose sa mga ganito kaya hinde biro ang pagaairdrop.

As much as possible always use a different wallet every time you participate in airdrop and make sure na wala itong laman na malaki para if ever na scam ang project na nasalihan mo ay still safe parin ang mga crypto holdings mo.

Maganda ang reward sa airdrop kapag nakapasok ka sa maganda and legit na project, continue to be more cautious lang para mas maenjoy mo ang profit.
17  Economy / Gambling / Re: How Crypto casino market themselves? on: January 17, 2024, 08:15:33 PM
I am curious to know who are their targeted audience and at what age group. In general gambling people target countries like thailand more but probably this is not the case with crypto. Do they target nerds or total dumbs? How efficient they are between their marketing tactics?

Every casinos have their own ways to market their platform, some will have more promotions while the others will be more hands on in terms of attracting gambler through different style of marketing. Obviously, the target market are those who are into crypto already and I’m sure there’s no specific age or details for this as long as you are already allowed to gamble, you can be the target market.
18  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's your thoughts on VIP Programs in casinos? on: January 16, 2024, 09:31:24 PM
I only bet on regulated sites. You can make thousands a year in the VIP programs, especially if you're hedging the free bets and promotions.
That's a lot of free money and privileges if you're a VIP and of course it's good to take advantage of this.
I prefer a site to have a VIP feature because once there's a big player in the site you can at least have the assurance that the site is ok and the site will continue to grow more because of the number of their gamblers and the volume of money coming in on the site. Most of the top site have their own VIP program, and that is their big difference to other site.
19  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Blackrock Layoff in relation sa Bitcoin Price Fluctuation on: January 16, 2024, 05:53:23 AM
Mukhang nasagot na Ang importance ng topic na to kabayan dahil approved na ang ETF so malinaw na walang kinalaman ang lay offing sa magiging or naging result ng decision ng SEC in regards sa ETF?
But indeed na aakalain talaga natin that time Kasi nga parang sobrang coincidence ang nangyari lol.
This can be a company strategy and hinde naman directly sa Crypto update, though of course somehow it can affect especially malaking pera ren ang nilalabas nila kay Bitcoin. Let's see if magiging ok ang negosyo nila now that the SEC approved the ETF. Kapit lang tayo sa mga ganitong news, kase that can affect the whole market and baka nakaposition ka at bigla itong maliquidate. Simula palang ang up and down ng market, at sana mas maging matatag pa tayo para sabay sabay tayo sa pag angat.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: cashout or wait till the end? on: January 16, 2024, 12:44:42 AM
That's always a difficult question to ask. Based on my experience so far, I'd say it's better to cash out while up at the cost of winning more, than end up losing everything and wanting to have cashed out so damn bad. Had various experiences on Dplay and Stake during these past couple of months, but this is the general logic I came up with. If only it was that easy to abide by it whilst you were subjectively involved lol...
This is also my experienced before and since then, I'm cashing out everything that I can and I'd be more than happy to enjoy that winning.
There's always risk here and there's no assurance to have that luck until your bet ends, so do your best decision and make sure you don't regret it later on. That's already a huge money to deal with, your contentment will matter here and your goal of course.
