1  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Announce] BTC Riches - Win 7x your bet - MD5 Verification on: July 07, 2011, 02:40:01 AM
I'm not able to bet.  I deposited 1BTC to 1FUYFiPw9zDJZ3iiawrPfehmmBtfSJMNYD, it shows up in my balance, but I put .1 in the box, put in my guess, and click Open and it just refreshes the page.  Never attempts to open the safe, and never shows an outcome.

Edit: I just put in to withdrawal my 1BTC back out until the bugs are ironed out.

I just tried exactly that and it worked. Can you tell me what browser you're using, and what time you attempted it?
Thank you.

I tried with both Firefox 5.0 and ie9
Time was a minute or two before my last post.

Hey look here's FooDSt4mP and his asshole buddy driving dangerously and impersonating police. What great guys.
...
You make your parents proud, I'm sure.

Goodbye, liar.

Your error is in assuming FooDSt4mP is capable of feeling shame. Judging by his behavior, FooDSt4mP is likely a sociopath. He will continue to do harm to society for as long as he is able.

Oh please.. Somebody takes revenge on IRC one day and now they are a sociopath that will harm society for as long as they are able to...  Get a grip on reality bro.  I gave a shitload of the coins out for free in this thread mins later... It wasn't for financial gain, it was for revenge.  Grow up.

You are a sociopath.  Have you read what you have written on other forums?  You are delusional and need some serious help.  Perhaps you were butt raped too hard as a Seamen, who knows.

Um...... I have read what YOU have read on other forums and THINK I wrote, yes.  Get over yourself.

Ok, so you aren't Brett "The freedom fighter" Backman.  You just have access to his paypal account, make prank phone calls as him, and somehow log in to IRC from his host.  You also just so happen to write "mining" software that steals wallet files and uploads them to his website of conspiracy theorists that you just so happen to have access to.

Cool story bro

5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Deepbit taking forever to payout for anybody else? on: July 07, 2011, 12:15:53 AM
*sigh* Looks like Deepbit isn't prioritizing their own payouts again. That said, your transaction appears to have matured enough that it might appear in the next Block.

See:

Neat!  I have no idea what this means lol, but I'll take your word that it means it's coming soon, probably.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Deepbit taking forever to payout for anybody else? on: July 07, 2011, 12:03:58 AM
I initiated a payout at 06.07.2011 17:37 server time, it is now 06.07.2011 23:59:23.  I see the payout on the payments page, but it has not even showed up as unconfirmed in my client.  I did another test payout to make sure nothing was broken, and that is showing up as unconfirmed (has been unconfirmed for 3 hours).

I have plenty of connections, I tried a -rescan

Blockexplorer is not showing either of these transactions.

Is anybody else experiencing issues with deepbit payout right now?

Lol, I might have the wrong FoodSt4mp though.  Kind of strange though that this one is also former armed forces if I do have the wrong one.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Shout Out To AnonX For The 37.5 BTC Fo' FREE on: July 06, 2011, 10:53:20 PM
Tip of the iceberg

Edit: He seems to be a quite violent person who punched out a Marine (he is former USMC), and is almost certainly armed at all times.  Ron Paul supporter, and overall douchebag.

Red-state citizen here.  Absotively nothing wrong with that, sir.

Eh, they give fiscal conservatives and Reaganites a bad name.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MetaCo.in Steam Game Giveaway - (I'm giving out 10 free games!) on: July 05, 2011, 11:20:58 AM
Whoo hoo!  I won!

I hope you got my PM and are able to fulfill one of my top choices, I also hope we start to see more merchants accepting BTC because at the moment there isn't a whole lot I would consider purchasing.
10  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Introducing: Bitcoin Prizes (Free Bitcoins) on: July 04, 2011, 04:26:22 PM
so still this site is down since the hack? annnnnnd since the hack this guy hasnt been around? and no one finds this suspicious...

No... What do you think there plan was?  To get my email address, give out free bitcoins, then somehow hack MtGox and run away?  Does that make any sense to you?

Do you think this was some sort of Robin Hood scam for ill gotten coins?

My best guess.  They bit off more than they could chew, gave away some coins, and while trying to secure up the site to stop multiple entries decided it wasn't worth their time.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MetaCo.in Steam Game Giveaway - (I'm giving out 10 free games!) on: July 04, 2011, 04:23:29 PM
I posted this over at /r/BitMarket on reddit.

If I win I would prefer Tropico 3 as I own the other games already.
12  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcoin-Kamikaze.com [Win bitcoins] on: July 03, 2011, 03:02:24 PM
Hi, all day today I have been getting an error message, "Data is missing. Aborting!" when I try to deposit BTC. What's going on?

Mybitcoin is experiencing problems.  It's probably affecting bitcoin-kamikaze because I believe they use it for the backend.
13  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitLotto July 6 Update Thread - Jackpot going to be over 1,000 USD worth of BTC on: July 01, 2011, 07:19:02 AM
Whoohooo! Just over 1,000 officially now!

Would everyone like having the price to be 0.25/ticket next month or do you want it lower? (It's a fine line between number of players vs price and how it effects total jackpot)

I personally think .25 is just about perfect for the price, yes you will see more action at .1 each, but I don't think you will see 250% more action to make up the difference.

Maybe have 2 lotteries.  A "high roller" .25 and a .1 game running simultaneously (although this might backfire)

Lol, no.  18 seconds is confirmed to be impossible as a "valid" bet.  The script takes 16 seconds to run, and bets that get to the address before this are either applied to previous round or lost to the void.  MBC + the bet script takes between 5-15 seconds to confirm the payment and place your bet in to the database.

You obviously have figured out the exact second to send your payment to ensure first play each time.
15  Economy / Gambling / Re: Jacks or Better Video Poker -- Be the next winner! 99.54% payout! on: June 29, 2011, 05:54:00 AM
Just so people know.  Yes, the expected payout over the lifetime of a jacks or better game is 99.54% on perfect play.  BUT, this only applies if you play with the full 5 credits.  On 1-4 the payout is dropped down to about 98.18% based on the following info

1-4 credit bet

Code:
Hand         	Payoff Combinations Probability Return
Royal flush 250 493512264 0.00002476 0.00619000
Straight flush 50 2178883296 0.00010931 0.00546545
Four of a kind 25 47093167764 0.00236255 0.05906364
Full house   9 229475482596 0.01151221 0.10360987
Flush         6 219554786160 0.01101451 0.06608707
Straight     4 223837565784 0.01122937 0.04491747
Three of a kind 3 1484003070324 0.07444870 0.22334610
Two pair     2 2576946164148 0.12927890 0.25855780
Pair           1 4277372890968 0.21458503 0.21458503
Nothing     0 10872274993896 0.54543467 0
Total           19933230517200 1       0.98182243

5 credit bet

Code:
Hand         	Payoff Combinations Probability Return
Royal flush 800 493512264 0.00002476 0.01980661
Straight flush 50 2178883296 0.00010931 0.00546545
Four of a kind 25 47093167764 0.00236255 0.05906364
Full house   9 229475482596 0.01151221 0.10360987
Flush         6 219554786160 0.01101451 0.06608707
Straight     4 223837565784 0.01122937 0.04491747
Three of a kind 3 1484003070324 0.07444870 0.22334610
Two pair     2 2576946164148 0.12927890 0.25855780
Pair           1 4277372890968 0.21458503 0.21458503
Nothing     0 10872274993896 0.54543467 0
Total           19933230517200 1       0.99543904

This is using perfect strategy.  Simple strategy will cost you about .08% return, but is MUCH easier to memorize and do on the fly without constantly referring to charts.

As far as the double up round goes.  The odds are.
Double 46.15%
Nothing 46.15%
Push 7.7%

The simple strategy I follow is directly from Wizard of Odds

Code:
Four of a kind, straight flush, royal flush
    4 to a royal flush
Three of a kind, straight, flush, full house
    4 to a straight flush
    Two pair
    High pair
    3 to a royal flush
    4 to a flush
    Low pair
    4 to an outside straight
    2 suited high cards
    3 to a straight flush
2 unsuited high cards (if more than 2 then pick the lowest 2)
    Suited 10/J, 10/Q, or 10/K
    One high card
    Discard everything

Play the highest you have up the chain.

Assume you have Ac 3c 5c Js Jc

Conventional wisdom would tell you to hold the 4 clubs and shoot for the flush, but the odds tell you to keep the 2 Jacks and discard the rest.

Edit: My only concern.  There is NO independent audit of the code or safety procedure in place to discount any shenanigans that the site operator COULD pull to make it more profitable.  I am NOT saying that the game is rigged in any way, I am just stating that it COULD be and there is no good way to tell, so you must trust the operator before you play.
16  Economy / Gambling / Re: Jacks or Better Video Poker -- Be the next winner! 99.54% payout! on: June 27, 2011, 10:34:02 PM
The site makes you wait until you have 6 confirmations before it will initiate a payout. I have done quite a few and everytime it hits 6 it pays out and the best part he doesnt charge a fee  Smiley

That makes sense
17  Economy / Gambling / Re: Jacks or Better Video Poker -- Be the next winner! 99.54% payout! on: June 27, 2011, 10:14:30 PM
How long does payout take?  I submitted a payout for 1.4BTC or so about 10 minutes ago to 12xQQ3jkjnizpkeenyPLA98BWawQGue1Pr

Hasn't shown up yet as unconfirmed.  Any way you can check?
18  Economy / Gambling / Re: King of the Hill - Automated Bitcoin Doubler (Rounds Start Every Hour) Low-Bets on: June 25, 2011, 05:21:58 AM
I can confirm this is the real deal.

Fully automated, quick moving rounds, and very low fee.

Just avoid the "Pay with MyBitcoins Account" button and you'll be fine.  It is a bug in their API, and those bets will have a chance to be lost to the void.

Come join now!  Plenty of time left to double up!
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First 10 people receive free Online Backup on: June 24, 2011, 08:13:50 AM
How often and how are referral fees paid out?

Can I choose my own Promo code?  Just numbers or numbers and letters?

Is there a limit on the number of referrals you will get paid out on?

Is there any particular reason you are significantly more expensive than Carbonite?

Your current cheapest plan is $15/month for 50GB of storage.  Carbonite is unlimited* for $59 per year

*First 200GB is fast, after that is slowed considerably.  So soft cap.
20  Economy / Marketplace / Re: The Bitcoin Lottery on: June 24, 2011, 08:00:03 AM
We're playing with house money right now.  Even accounting for fees and 90% of jackpot you're looking at about 100% payback rate over time.

Good time to play!
