I cannot log in. It always says "invalid e-mail or password", although I've just changed my password in order to make sure that it's correct. Currently, I can only use 1Broker on PCs which I'm already logged on. My username is jojatekok, like here.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [XMR] MoneroX - A cross platform graphical account manager for Monero on: August 31, 2015, 10:27:26 AM
Hello everyone, sorry for being so speechless in the past months. I'm writing to tell that I have no more time to focus on the development of MoneroX. Although this is the best project I ever made, I decided to discontinue it and move on to develop something else.

I sincerely love Monero as a cryptocurrency, and the community behind it: this is especially true for the people who were reporting bugs and suggesting new features to be added to MoneroX. As I'll be turning 18 this year, I will have tons of more important things to do regarding school, thus, I may only have the chance to work on one project at a time. I have already learnt a lot about software development, and decided that I should finally start working on a project which - if successful - I would release under my real name. (I haven't yet made any significant work under my own name.)

Hopefully, I will have time to occasionally check what's going on with this awesome digital currency. I will never forget the people who are/were supporting Monero and my project. Thank you for the kind comments and donations, and I wish you all the best! Smiley

Thank you for your work!

Are there plans for someone else to take over? Else it should probably be removed off the wallet section at getmonero.org until someone is willing to develop and maintain it. Lest we add more confusion...

I would be very happy if a .NET developer could take over the project. If someone gets familiar enough with the code, I'll grant him/her commit access to Jojatekok/MoneroGui.Net on GitHub.

I propose a coding challenge of integrating the XMR.TO service into MoneroX. I already made an API wrapper for the service: you just have to implement its functionality into MoneroX in the fanciest way possible. The person who submits the best pull request to Jojatekok/MoneroGui.Net with XMR.TO integration gets collaborator access to MoneroX on GitHub.

Why aren't you opening the AMZN market? I placed a short order at 575, and it didn't execute (not because the market's price was lower, but because the markets didn't open on 1Broker)...
Hopefully, this is just a technical security measure, and not an attempt to do something wrong. Wink

I know that the ToS doesn't offer a refund for unopened positions, but this seems to be a special issue right now, and can also be considered as an unscheduled outage. I'd be respectful to the development team whether they handle the situation professionally, like anytime else. Smiley

EDIT: I was finally able to execute a short at 560.44 (position ID: AMZN-332110). I couldn't wait for the official statement about the issue...

Site has been down for a couple hours now. I'm getting Cloudflare and others in the Tradingview chat are as well. We would appreciate an update.... hopefully all is well. Thanks.

Data center had some unannounced maintenance, which was the cause for that down period.
We have a message about it up on the site, and apologize for any inconvenience!

The team's attitude and professionalism is simply unbeatable. 1Broker seems to be a very credible and honest business. Keep it up! Smiley

i'm experiencing a bug some times when i go short or long, the color of the % is off, for example while shorting it appear to be "-11%" when it should displayed always in red the negative and blue the positive
We were not able to reproduce this, yet. Any specific conditions when this bug happens? (browser, window open for a long/short time, position type)

Thats happen to me as well at times, in Chrome only. Doesn't seem to happen in FF if i recall.

Refreshing the page updates the proper color.

It also happens in Firefox and Safari, so the fault should be in the JS code...

Also, hopefully we'll get reimbruisements for our open positions right now if needed.

Will there be any mobile version for this? also track order?

The staff said earlier that there should be a decent API made up before even touching the mobile segment. I'm quite sure that the development team is absolutely competent, and will be working on a mobile client as soon as they're done releasing a stable version of the API. By the way, I'm currently working on my own client to make trading easier and faster:

It still has a long way to go before being usable, and I'm not even sure whether I should release it to the public. Convince me! Cheesy

I'm messing around with the API functions today, and realized that through the API, I can make the website's UI a bit unusable. For instance, I can only cancel this weird stop-entry order through the API:

Nice, now how do i use it?  Grin

Is there a compiled version?

It's basically a tool for developers only, because it's a DLL. The compiled version for development is included in the project's NuGet package. A GUI can be made using my project, though. Smiley

I'm happy to announce that I've created an API implementation in C# for the website, see its own thread:

This project is an easy-to-use API implementation of 1Broker functions in the Microsoft .NET Framework, and is useful to build trading tools.
The class library is written in C#, and can run on any platform which supports PCLs (Portable Class Libraries).

Usage requirements

Versioning
The project uses Semantic Versioning 2.0.0 for keeping track of changes.

Donations
Donations are highly appreciated in order to keep the development alive.

How much leverage do they provide?

I forgot to mention that the API should also allow for historical price data to be queried, and there should also be a call to request every available quote (not being limited to 20 markets).

I have also notified that every marked has a CFD type. What kind of other market types are you going to add? Options, maybe?
15  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] 1Broker.com - Trade forex, indices, stocks and commodities on: June 20, 2015, 04:16:08 PM
I'm currently working on implementing full API functionality in C# right now. Basically, everything is done and tested by now, but I'm not at home at the moment, and the project itself isn't even documented yet, so the public release has to be postponed for a bit. My project is a Portable Class Library, so it could be utilized on Windows, Linux, Mac, Android, iOS, and even more platforms which are supported.

Regarding the API's specification: It's pretty straightforward to use, but there is also quite a lot of unneeded redundancy. For instance, "long", "short", "Market", "Limit", and "Stopentry" values could be replaced with numbers (thus, making them easily enumerable). Also, I don't think there should be response data included for edited positions, as they also seem to be redundant for me.

By the way, as the site grows, positions and orders should have alphanumeric IDs (8 characters should be enough) in order to make them easier to recognize. Or just simply make the IDs user-based instead of using global values.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [XMR] MoneroX - A cross platform graphical account manager for Monero on: June 18, 2015, 06:20:30 PM
You must wait for MoneroGui.Net.exe to close: It remains open because it's waiting for bitmonerod.exe to terminate and will only shut down after the daemon process gets stopped (try killing bitmonerod.exe manually after closing MoneroX, MoneroGui.Net.exe should close). The icon failure is because every bundle was built on Ubuntu. I may re-compile MoneroGui.Net.exe on Windows, so it will have an icon. Smiley

Same problem, as usual. I've sent stop_daemon and/or exit commands to bitmonerod.exe, but these have no effect.

Could you try the following in order, please?

  • Close MoneroX normally
  • After MoneroX's window disappears, open the task manager
  • Kill bitmonerod.exe
  • Wait (2 minutes at most) for MoneroGui.Net.exe to close

Does MoneroGui.Net.exe close itself after waiting? If so, the error is related to the instability of bitmonerod's RPC service.

Woohooooo! I'm finally done with my exams for this year! Smiley
(And they also went surprisingly well Wink)

To celebrate together, I'm releasing MoneroX v1.2.2 with little but important fixes:

  • Fixed a binding redirection issue
  • Improved the termination logic of core processes

Also, notice that this version was built using a script, thus, making the deployment process faster.

Thanks for this update! Unfortunately, I've just tested it with the database-compatible bitmonerod.exe that I compiled myself on Windows, and now I see *both* MoneroX and bitmonerod.exe remaining in the background after closing MoneroX. Usually, MoneroX would close, leaving the bitmonerod.exe process there. Now *both* are remaining in the background. After force closing the MoneroX process, bitmonerod.exe did close, so at least there's evidence that it's responding to MoneroX in such a way. It's getting there. It must need one additional tweak somewhere.

Also, I noticed that this build doesn't have the MoneroX icon on the executable.

It's awesome that a draft of the API is already up! Although, could you explain the reason of today's downtime, please? Smiley

FX markets always close Friday at 5pm est and resume 5:15 pm est on Sunday.

Yes, but there was also a downtime due to a server error (the error code broadcasted by CloudFlare was 522 if I recall correctly).
