kuCoin only gave a partial email (credited account) mikec******* n8330@gmail.com , knowing the full email address, I could try to contact him... Did you try googling that partial email or variations of it? You might get lucky. If it really is a gmail you might get lucky people tend to use one email from them in a lot of places so it might actually be searchable. -Dave of course, unfortunately unsuccessfully... |

Some update: the exchange did not replied to any my email in us chat. Only after I create new support ticked, I got answer ,that if account (which was credited )doesn’t belongs to me they can't help.
so ~5000 usd fell "from the sky" to someone.
I thought that the least that the exchange could do was to AT LEAST inform the customer that the money was received by mistake and from whom. Maybe he is a conscientious person and his morals or religion do not even allow him to embezzle other people's money.

@zazarb, if I may be curious and ask how it happened that you sent BTC to the wrong address - was it because you typed the address manually or was it due to clipboard malware that changed the address? The latter does not seem like a realistic option to me, because hackers usually do not use deposit addresses on CEXs, but of course there are those who are not very intelligent.
No it's my fault, to check if I copied the address to which I want to send correctly, I put it in google and opened in the mempoolspace website, I did not notice that a completely different address was opened and later copied it from the website again and sent btc to it. Thank guys.

You can try to contact TalkStar who is still active on Bitcointalk recent days. The user worked with Kucoin exchange in the past and surely had contact points to Kucoin but still has it in 2024 or not, you have to ask TalkStar. 4 years is a long time in cryptocurrency market and exchange staffs come and go. I wrote to him and I'm waiting.. Kucoin suport replied, and confirmed that my btc deposited to one from users...further communication is difficult because have to wait a week or longer for an answer . |

Sent some btc to wrong address (unknown to me) Seeing transaction quantities and amounts in this address and others related tothe same wallet, I guess it can belong to the some exchange or pools.

I don't see any information about the new rules, due to the possible amount of acceleration during the time period. After the successful acceleration of one of my transactions, I was not allowed the next one, neither the next hour nor the next day(after 00:00)..?
Do you remember if the stats for remaining free slots remained zero at 00:00? this happened to me multiple times many weeks ago and I could not submit any entry since website was returning submissions are full so I had suspected viabtc was temporarily suspending the hourly resets 🤔 Nova days free slots always available. I just think there is some kind of limitation, whether it's for one BTC address or IP... |
