On windows you can schedule programs to be started when idle and stopped when not idle, without needing any additional software. What is the point of this?
It's also hidden. I wrote it in VB6 long time back. It's now detected as a virus since people started to bundle it with malicious software. Thus making my whole email domain black listed. You can ignore this now. |

I know people who have been working, get paid in cash and put it into the bank and have had to repay the amount of cash that the tax would cost. If that happens it would be good if you also could prove that you've sold BTC and not been doing illegal stuff. I would talk to the bank and pay the amount of tax just to be on the safe side, dont want to get in trouble with the government.....but i may just be a coward.  Sell for cash, buy expensive car. We have techs that specialize in areas. Everyone works with every company. If a client needs a website changed or redesigned, one main person will deal with that. If equipment is out of date and needs to be renewed, someone else deals with that. 1st line support team, 2nd line support team etc. If a client drops, it's not a big deal, but it goes against what we're trying to do. Every client has so far bought another client with them to us. Actually we did drop one client. She is a multimillionaire that ran the top company in her field for a long time, but she would argue over a £14 phone bill. Wasn't worth the hassle anymore.

Why have a guy per 15 companies. What happens if that person is off sick for a week? or even if that person decides to leave suddenly? Also you manage the budgets yourself for each of the companies? Funny way of doing things! 10-20k should just be for the support contract of 24/7 support, time onsite should be charged per hour extra. 15 companies should be bringing in around 250k a year. Worth having 1 guy per 5 companies to take the load off and being able to work on other projects. Sounds like a risky business model.

You sound like a kid that has just got his first job in IT. Yup Servers, switches, ISPs, printers, DNS and other misc. network gear. When you are the only IT guy for 15 businesses and helping out with their day to day IT operations it gets pretty hectic. How may IT jobs have you had? I'm 24 and currently a manager for an IT support and services company in London, proving support to around 30 financial companies, and personal support for 6 top level bankers and CEO's. Why don't you / your company hire another person? When we had 15 companies, we hired 3 support guys, plus a team of developers. If you provide 24/7 support to 15 companies, you must at least be taking in 10 - 20k from each contract. Makes sense really. Also where are you from? We're hiring in New York / Hong Kong. |

Choose a seller with 100% feedback that has done hundreds of transactions. It is as big of a risk of them as it is for you. They have bundles of cash on them, you would have a secure bitcoin wallet on a mobile phone / or possibly call someone at home to do the transaction for you.
If anything went wrong, chances are you could just pose as someone else and arrange another meetup with the person. It really isn't worth it for them to scam you.
People keep saying to do it in a public place, but handing over large amounts of cash in public places could present more problems. People thinking it is a drug deal etc. I would personally go along with a friend or family member.

Their server seems to have a direct connection to the internet as well. There is no reason to open all of those ports on the firewall (Even if one exists!), so this must be the case. Seems very dodgy to me.

I brought this up with our developers - they say they open and close the firewall all the time as they need some of those ports to work on the server. Thank for the heads up though.

Also, we don't have any wallet functionality until 11/12/13, so not need to worry.

They do ban accounts, and IPs, but it's pointless. It's easy to get a new account and a new IP. Plus, IP bans generate a quite a bit of threads of people (rightfully) suprised being locked off from the forum while they did nothing wrong (they just had bad luck and picked a baned IP). True, I deal with static IPs all day long I forget about DHCP. DHCP is for internal networks. You mean dynamic. Also that sounds like a boring job! |

The only real accusation is that you aren't forthcoming with information and people who have been around are pointing out your presentation sucks. Your presentation isn't even as good as most people who engage in foul play. Maybe with actual verifiable information you can fix this, gradually recovering once people know you have a team and who they are. The web wallet functionality you have advertised though is brain dead. They claim that their server has been security tested by the best in the industry, I found 16 open ports, including FTP (FileZilla), Windows File Sharing, Remote desktop, and others. Not to mention they are running Windows Server 2008 BETA. The web platform they use suffers from exploits quite often. |

As for exploits, we've had vulnerability audits performed by some of the best testers in the industry. If you can get get coin out of us, you would deserve it. ...I have just ran a simple port scanner on your server... You have port 21 open (FTP - Running Filezilla), Port 139/445 (NETBIOS & Windows FILE SHARING) AND 3389 (Remote Desktop).. ANY security analyst would tell you to shut these ports.
