Same problem, even with an API key.
4  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum server discussion thread on: December 04, 2014, 07:38:48 PM
What's the disk size required at the moment to run an Electrum server?
On my host, in addition to bitcoind data, it currently uses 16GB (pruning_limit=10000)
Was hoping I could run an Electrum server on a $10 VPS on DigitalOcean. I'll have to find another host then. Thanks.

Carlos L. Please pay me.
16:48 November 24, 2014    0.15536 mBTC    pending
I cannot come to ask you to pay me, it is the second time man!
Asking doesn't make any difference, payments are handled all the same.

This website is a 100% copy of my own website, you didn't even go through the effort of changing the style.

Hi there, I'm Dan, and I'm the new owner of Coin Ad, I've negotiated the sale with Carlos and handover is effective immediately.. sort of.

Firstly I want to say that to Coin Ad itself NOTHING will change. ALL balances can be cashed out, advertisers can make adverts as normal - NOTHING will change. The site will be fully operational.

There is actually a handover period/timeline, and I want to be completely transparent:

Now - until 31st December: Site is still controlled by Carlos (previous owner), database management, any technical work or site breakages will still be handled by Carlos.. so actually really, nothing at all will change in the short term, the site will continue EXACTLY as it is. During this time I will get an education in managing it for a smooth handover.

January 1st: Site will be handed over. Again, nothing new will happen, the site will continue to exist, fully operational.

It is in February onwards when I will make some changes - but I only want to increase the traffic and popularity of CoinAd, and my plan to do so is to reduce fees MASSIVELY. Roughly to half them for advertisers, and to pay the other half to users - to increase the payout for each ad view.

The reason for the sale is simply as Carlos is focusing on other projects (and Adbit), and the profit just isn't high enough on Coin Ad for him to justify working full time on it.

I however want to monetize in a different way, simply to add a newsletter - this is the ONLY thing which will change within the next few months. And if you don't want to receive it you can INSTANTLY unsubscribe easily. You aren't obligated to receive it or to buy anything or to read it.

However, if I can increase the profit, via this newsletter, then I want to do much more to Coin Ad,  to make it MUCH more profitable for YOU, to have the hights PTC payouts, and to add new features.. possibly; an inhouse faucet, competitions for users, giveaways for advertisers.

So, hi, thanks, watch this space!

Dan
I confirm everything said by Dan.

Maybe 502 Bad Gateway is caused because there are too many output addresses.

I've seen this issue with the mass small payments before.

Maybe he should try to send in smaller chunks to all the users that have 0.01 BTC or more. If he is smart he will be able to avoid the required 0.0001 fee.

Then do the same with the smaller amounts ... and for the future double the "miner fee".
Their API worked fine with 138 outputs in the past. Tested with 108 outputs, same issue. Tested with 2 outputs and worked, but 2 outputs are not enough obviously. Anyways, sending the transaction and then responding with an error page is unacceptable so we are working on a solution to replace it. If the test goes well it can be deployed within a few hours.

Exact same problem I had, this is their response:

You can try using an api key with your requests, you might be blocked by our service provider automatically for making too many requests too fast.

If you would like to request a Blockchain API key, then you can do via this form: https://blockchain.info/api/api_create_code. Just let me know when it is submitted, and I will approve it for you.

As far as the double spend goes, I'm sorry that this happened, but blockchain is not liable for user initiated unintentional transactions.

I hate to live in Turkey, again. I have to pay triple if I want to buy same car. Taxes are killing us. Great price, good luck with your sale.
About the same here in Portugal.

16  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: [Pré-Lançamento/Vossa Opinião] Serviço VPN Bitcoin on: October 29, 2014, 12:58:47 PM

  • Protocolos: OpenVPN (UDP & TCP), IKEv2 with PPTP, L2TP, SSTP
  • Servidores: Servidores espalhados por mais de 40 países
  • Encriptação: 256 bit

PREÇOS:
Estamos a planear preços a rondar os 0.25BTC - 0.35BTC por ano.

Ficarei aguardar o vosso feedback, para poder começar a preparar as coisas.

Obrigado.

Quais são as vantagens do seu serviço em comparação aos já existentes?
Neste momento tenho subscrição anual no Private Internet Access por menos de metade desse valor.

Very well done logo by Sebastian, he also made me a favicon in all sizes. He sent me several different versions so I could review and choose my favorite, very good to work with him.

Did you change the blockchain database storage location? I did that once and probably made a mistake, Armory wouldn't go online and didn't give any error message, had to uninstall everything and start fresh for it to work.
