Does this method to timelock Bitcoin still work?

yes. see post #3 in that thread for a good tutorial that uses Coinb.in:

You can use Coinbin to do that. I had one a few months ago and it's quite easy to create/spend your coins after the chosen period.

To create the Time Locked Address:
1. Go to Coinb.in;
2. New -> Time Locked Address.
3. Enter your address public key (the one you require to sign the transaction and be able to spend the coins);
4. Enter the date-time or blockheight you want to release the coins.
5. Submit and save the Redeem Script (don't lose that or you won't be able to spend your coins in the future);
6. Send the coins you want to keep locked to the Address generated.

After the chosen period, you will be able to spend your coins.
1. Go to Coinb.in;
2. New -> Transaction;
3. Paste your Redeem Script and click Load (it's going to show every input available to be spent);
4. Paste the address you want to send the coins to at the "Address" field and the amount in the "Amount" field. The remaining funds will be used as fee. E.g: If your address has 0.015BTC, you can put 0.014BTC in the
"Amount" field and the fee will be 0.001BTC (0.015 - 0.014);
5. Submit and copy the raw transaction;
6. Go to the "Sign" tab (at Coinb.in);
7. Paste the private key from the address you choose when creating the Time Locked Address.
8. Paste the raw transaction you just created.
9. Submit, copy the signed transaction and push it to the network (you can do it in the Broadcast tab).
10. Transaction sent!

address generation and signing is done client-side so Coinb.in never receives your private keys, but it's probably advisable to download it yourself and run it offline just to be safe.

Thank you for creating these instructions.   It wasn't a lot - but you allowed me to access a locked wallet I had kind of given up on.

Cheers
3  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Affiliate Account For Sale (0.3 BTC) - Steady Passive BTC Income on: October 31, 2020, 10:07:37 PM
Been asked this twice - so I'll post it in here.

Once you take over the account, you can designate a wallet address that can't be changed, that is the only way to withdraw.   With that, 2-factor, and the password changed, there is no chance you have to worry about securing the account.

Open to offers.
4  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Affiliate Account For Sale (0.3 BTC) - Steady Passive BTC Income on: October 30, 2020, 08:08:35 AM
Gambling affiliate account for sale 0.3 BTC

- Can provide screenshots or screenshare so you can confirm the legitimacy.
- 340+ depositing players.  Many active.
- Account can be sold (have confirmed with the site - you can as well if you wish).
- Has earned over 17 btc in 4 years (the majority when btc was much cheaper)
- Has earned 0.46 btc in the last 10 months (have proof)
- Includes 6 months of top banner promotion on a bitcoin gambling review website.

Once you purchase you will
- change the password
- enable 2-factor
- set a permanent withdrawal address (if you want, this ensures withdrawals can only ever be sent to your wallet - just make sure that wallet will always be yours)

It's been a solid btc maker over the years.  I need to let it go though as I move away from the industry.

I am 100% confident you'll earn back your purchase price.

Once we agree on the sale (and the escrow agent here), I am willing to accept

50% initially upon sale
50% (would remain in escrow) until you have recouped your full purchase price.

5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk Twitter hacked on: July 16, 2020, 10:24:13 AM
Saw this awhile ago, that's the first news I saw this morning. And not just Elon Musk that was hacked;

Elon Musk, Bill Gates, and Jeff Bezos have been hacked as part of a widespread bitcoin giveaway scam.

These scammers are hacking popular btc enthusiasts twitter accountd to attract btc users and to make other fall for their fake giveaways, fake doubling scheme to scam people. As what I saw, many retweeted it already. Those who were unaware that the accounts were hacked will somehow believe on that crap.

Yeah, when I initially posted, I had only seen Musk's account had been compromised.

Last I checked the hackers had made off with around 12.8 btc.
6  Economy / Gambling / Re: Welcome to Casino Reviews.fun on: July 16, 2020, 08:30:27 AM
This is a really nice theme for the site.  Clean.

More content (and reviews) and it'll become a go-to site for a lot of people I think.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Elon Musk Twitter hacked on: July 15, 2020, 08:29:55 PM
Tweet removed.  But it was definitely from his account.  I blocked the wallet to prevent anyone silly enough to think he'd actually do anything like it.

Quite the high profile account to get hacked though.

Is the casino going to respond to this?

Did you change the odds/payouts in one of the games and didn't announce it in here or on the site itself?  (Do you expect people to really check the odds every time they play?)
9  Economy / Gambling / Re: Need 2 casinos recommended on: March 04, 2020, 01:03:17 AM
I can recommend the signature site I am wearing- Bustadice. You can play it on bits plus the deposits and withdrawals are also instant. Never had a problem on this gambling site. But they only had one game. Limbo to be exact.
 However, try out also stake if you wanna play more games like mines, video poker, crash, etc. They are also have a sports betting and also have no problems withdrawing and depositing.

 The good thing also to the two gambling sites i have mentioned is that they are mobile friendly and doesn't need KYC.

From the Stake website

Know your Customer (“KYC”)
Stake reserves the right, at any time, to ask for any KYC documentation it deems necessary to determine the identity and location of a User. Stake reserves the right to restrict service and payment until identity is sufficiently determined.

Happy to say that it seems like bitcoinvideocasino has ironed out their issues with delays on payouts.

Not including any affiliate link or anything, but have no issue recommending them again.

- No KYC
- Fast deposits (sometimes instant, sometimes after 1 confirmation)
- Instant withdrawals
- Super fast gameplay

Thanks for fixing your issues.

I have a bunch of people I've signed up through a website.  A couple of them are fed up and are not pleased with a current site I sent them to (because of delays)

Feel free to tack on your affiliate code if you want and I'll check out the reviews and send the link to the players

Player #1 - Blackjack.  Doesn't want any bonus (or any site with a prohibitive bonus rollover).  Just wants fast deposits/withdrawals with minimal KYC (minimal as in register an email like Nitrogen sports).   Likes fast game play.    A few I've checked claim to offer fast dep/wd but the blackjack interface is ugly and slow (once again...see Nitrogen)

Player #2 - Video Poker / Slots.   Looking for a good deposit bonus and a strong history of always paying, even when someone wins big.
12  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★★★ Bitcoin Video Casino ★★★ - ||| Over 500 BTC in Progressive Jackpots! ||| on: February 09, 2020, 06:15:12 PM
When will instant withdrawals resume?   These delays (sometimes an hour, sometimes a couple hours, sometimes longer) have been going on for 4 months now.

Of course the #1 reason people play is because you have a good history of always paying when people win.  However, instant withdrawals is something you promote on the front page of your site and a big feature.

Different reasons have been given (technical issue, security concerns).  Regardless, I'd think 1/3 of a year would be long enough to resolve whatever the issue is - no?
13  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: 『LONG TERM SUPPLIER』Theresa bitcoins buy/sell shop『ba/PP/WU/MG/Wechat/Alipay』 on: January 09, 2020, 08:50:42 AM
Did a paypal trade tonight (me sending btc and receiving pp)

Easy peasy.   Friendly trader.   Assuming I have no issue down the road with the paypal, will absolutely use this person again.
14  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Active & (very) Profitable Casino affiliate account on: December 24, 2019, 02:24:09 PM
if you are earning why are you selling it?

It would take a few months to earn what I would like to raise right now.

There are some pending earnings in the account, so if anyone is interested, DM me today and your purchase price will actually be a bit less as you'll start with some earnings in the account (which you can withdraw at any time - it's paid out twice a day)

15  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Recommended bitcointalk escrow services on: December 14, 2019, 07:34:23 AM
Any of the escrow providers in the original post available to help with a trade?   Seems like everyone is offline and the few I messaged are not around.
16  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★★★ Bitcoin Video Casino ★★★ - ||| Over 500 BTC in Progressive Jackpots! ||| on: November 29, 2019, 05:08:01 PM

I've personally had to wait on at least 30% of my payouts over the years if not more.  Eventually I always got paid though.

Hey snooprock, as you've already mentioned that only a minor percentage of your payouts required a manual payout - which is understandable since it is our imperative that our users' funds are safe and secure 100% of the time. Bitcoin Video Casino

30% is close to 1/3 of every withdrawal.   That's not exactly minor.
17  Economy / Digital goods / Re: ✅ VCC Virtual Credit Card VISA • Amazon, PayPal, Prime VCC on: November 16, 2019, 09:22:44 PM
I've bought a couple of these, and they worked like a charm.    I kind of expected problems etc - but none.

Can't say enough about how impressed I was with these.   The seller never asked me to write any review or anything, just hooked me up and sent me on my way.

Very solid offer here.
18  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Active & (very) Profitable Casino affiliate account on: November 15, 2019, 10:55:12 PM
almost 0.01 (0.0097 at this moment) earned today.

Still in the balance, so if you're interested, DM me and I won't withdraw it tonight.  So your purchase price actually just dropped almost 0.01 :-)
19  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Active & (very) Profitable Casino affiliate account on: November 13, 2019, 05:20:50 PM
You can also directly contact me at jonasbtc@caramail.com if you do not wish to discuss this on the forum (or are unable to send DM's)

Any sale though will be done through the forum using a trusted escrow.
20  Economy / Digital goods / Active & (very) Profitable Casino affiliate account on: November 13, 2019, 10:47:13 AM
I won't post the name of the casino in the thread (or exact numbers - but all can be verified) only because they have changed ownership and I'm unsure if they are ok with affiliate accounts being sold.

There's no name on the account, no KYC required.  Payouts of any earnings are done daily.

Account is 4+ years old.   No risk to you taking over the account (ie: they aren't going to suddenly see a new IP and freak out - I've logged in and checked stats from different IP,s VPN's and TOR - never a problem)

The account has earned >15 btc since it was created 4 years ago

Over 2 btc earned since February of this year (have screenshots and can do a remote login session for proof if required)

The site has signed up over 300 members who have bet over 10,000 btc through the casino.

Over 200 members are still considered "active" (it doesn't specify what constitutes active though)

How much you make depends on the day/week.  There are times where it goes 4-5 days without earning 1 sat, then suddenly you can make 0.03 or 0.08 or more all at once.   It's earned close to 2.1 btc in the last 9 months alone (in case you're worried all the income was derived back when btc was worth $300 or something)

We'd use a trusted escrow from bitcointalk.  The account is password protected and has a locked in withdrawal address to a block.io wallet, so you'd also get the block.io account (possible bonus for you, another affiliate also sends to that account, but they haven't earned in months, so no guarantee that affiliate account will make you anything, but if it does, it's yours.

Selling for 0.25 btc or best reasonable offer.    DM me if you don't want to post your offer in here.

I have zero concern you'll earn back your purchase price and more, I just need some immediate bitcoin and want to focus my attention on a non gambling venture moving forward.
