1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Best Alt-coin bounty Campaign for Jr. Members on: November 13, 2019, 05:36:11 PM
If you really want to browse a bunch at once and compare the rewards you'd be better off visiting https://bounty0x.io/

Instead if digging through hundreds if threads here on the forum. Seems many have posted their campaigns on that site
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Vechain price spike by 6.35% in a Bear market on: November 13, 2019, 02:10:45 PM
So a +6% rise in price is now something to get excited over? I remember the days when we used to see +200% rise in a single hour from numerous coins and it is a sad fact to see that it has deteriorated to the extent where a +6% rise makes the news, I just hope we get back the altszn fast before it gets to the stage where we start analysing every +0.5% increase in price.

Anyways if you want to speculate about price of tokens , you should move this topic to the Altcoin speculation section of the forum: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=224.0

You make a solid point. 6% isn't bad but it's nothing to write home about. You used to see 6% gains on some coins as fast as you could refresh coinmarketcap on your pc or phone during the great 2017 bull run.

I love the volatility. Bring it back. I don't want to live in a crypto trading world where as you said we are micro speculating on tiny swings like the current stock market.

Also props calling out all the speculators on this board.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Cash Price Prediction 2020 on: November 06, 2019, 03:55:23 PM
Well!! Bitcoin cash is booming really well as compared to the other cryptos.

Crypto experts says that bitcoin cash price will go up in the upcoming years.

What's your take on bitcoin cash?

What's my take? It shouldn't even have Bitcoin in the name. It's the true Bitcoin's dingleberry. A fraud masquerading as the real thing.

That being said, I suspect it keeps the same price ratio as it has now and has had. It will move in correlation with bitcoin price as many larger alts do.

I wouldn't have nearly as much of a problem with this alt if it weren't for the subversive marketing tactics they employ.
4  Other / Politics & Society / Re: BOMBSHELL: ABC News Killed Epstein-Clinton Story, Says Anchor In Hot Mic Video on: November 06, 2019, 03:20:53 PM
My question is why did she not leak this story herself 3 years ago? How much more abuse had occurred in that time frame?

The media was too busy trying to make something out of nothing to harpoon Brett Kavanaugh instead of reporting on something real like this.

This is some cabal / shadow government shit right here.
5  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Bitcointalk User Demographic Poll - What Race Are You? on: November 05, 2019, 07:04:05 PM
again, women especially witches/fitgirls are a seperate race/ethnic group.

I had this added as a polling option just for the lulz and ended up taking it away. Nobody was choosing that option anyway.

Keep voting people
6  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Democrats winning the impeachment inquiry is a worrying sign for Trump. on: November 01, 2019, 03:04:49 PM
I don't live in the US but it seems it's all an effort to prevent him from winning 2020. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EQ3K1cyC0ls

And you are right, it seems the Democrats don't really have a candidate that can come up against Trump's popularity (or notoriety, whichever way you think of it).

Have to agree here. This is just procedural nonsense. They won't succeed in impeaching him but they are hoping to land a big enough blow to hurt his chances in next year's election. Is this really going to sway a firmly entrenched base? Wouldn't put any money on that.

They need to give it up. Luckily old age is a factor with a lot of these nutjobs, so nature will begin to take its course over the next decade assuming we're all still here to observe that.
7  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Turning off Power to Combat Wildfires will hurt one group: The Elderly on: November 01, 2019, 02:20:15 PM
@squatz1

So essentially the common human nature of being reactive instead of proactive. You'd think with the history of drought and wildfires in California there would be an intelligent policy change in regards to combating these events. This is going to continue as long as they allow it. Geography certainly isn't helping.

Seems the politicians and officials in California care more about social issues like pushing gender neutral pronouns on everyone than they do the infrastructure of the state and well being of their citizens.

Arizona bay anyone?
8  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Turning off Power to Combat Wildfires will hurt one group: The Elderly on: October 31, 2019, 02:39:51 AM
What's the idea behind this anyway, presumably slowing the progression of the fires by reducing complications caused by burned and falling power lines?

That whole damn state is a matchbox. I feel for the elderly. Even under ideal circumstances when there aren't wildfires they don't have the same luxury to pick up and move like younger people. Others have a chance to leave and they don't.

California may be beautiful but there are simply too many reasons NOT to live there.

It's an ecological and political timebomb.
9  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Hasty "Burial At Sea" & Other Baghdadi Raid Details Eerily Parallel To Bin Laden on: October 30, 2019, 04:52:39 PM
So what's the deal here, he's still alive? Media/gov lying about disposal is one thing. I could care less about Islamic tradition being respected when burying scum like this. The important thing is that the dude is actually toast as they claim.

Even video evidence can be manipulated. You have to dyor and choose what to believe from there. They'll only let us know what they want us to know.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to build Dapp like Tron Dapp token with dividend on: October 30, 2019, 01:45:15 PM
How to build Dapp is can i buy , i only have domain and hosting

Dapp building requires some technical background, coding knowledge and skills.

You can find this video helpful - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MfCU0G4ao9Q

Medium article about it - https://medium.com/tron-foundation/how-to-build-a-tron-dapp-5d377cd12061

I hope my findings helps you.
Dapp like tron

Are you trying to clone tron or make something different entirely?

If these are the questions you have to ask then you're going to want to do some serious research or work with and hire some competent coders. Nobody will take a project seriously when the creator didn't even know how to make what he/she wanted.

The good news is there are a million useful resources for you here and elsewhere on the internet.
11  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Bitcointalk User Demographic Poll - What Race Are You? on: October 30, 2019, 01:24:41 AM
Part of the beauty of the internet is no one really gives a shit, and your ideas and character are what people see, not your meat vessel.

I’m black and African, but you’ll probably think differently when you read my posts on social media. Your race and background becomes important in a setting where discussions are made affecting your background/race. It paints a better picture when people take social media actions to influence decisions that affect their hometown.

No one makes you inject your race into these discussions. If you willingly do so, then that is your fault and no one else's.

Somebody gets it.

I feel some people may be voluntarily dropping their own race/ethnicity here when they don't have to.

Just hit the button on the poll people  Smiley

There is no hidden agenda here. This is as far from scientific as possible. Just looking for the distribution of people that use this forum. When you're an inquisitive human this is the shit you do.
12  Other / Politics & Society / Re: America Starts Arresting and Charging Fines For Saying Bad Words, As Hong Kong>> on: October 24, 2019, 04:19:22 PM
It doesn't have to be like this. If there are arrests for saying words, file a claim in a common law court of record. Stand present in court. Don't be represented even by yourself.  The claim is that nobody will come forth with an injury that you did. If somebody says your words hurt him, claim that his causing you to be arrested is hurting you much more. Freedom of speech is protected by the 1st Article to the Bill of Rights.

America Starts Arresting and Charging Fines For Saying Bad Words, As Hong Kong Gets A Victory!

There is good news and bad news. The good news is Hong Kong finally got one of their demands met, and that is there has been a withdraw from the extradition bill. Now Hong Kong protestors are likely to still continue protesting, as there is yet 4 more demands to be met.

Meanwhile here in the US we seem to losing more of our freedoms. As the latest attack are on our freedom of speech and First Amendment right. Right now, citizens are facing jail time and massive fines for simply offending someone and posting on Facebook. All that and more below…

[Go to the site and watch the video.]

Cool

There was a local case recently in similar fashion. It didn't involve jail time but apparently there was a dispute between two people on a residential street. One guy flipped the other off and in return the one who was flipped off made a "gun" hand gesture at the other.

The dude who made the gesture was picked up by police, questioned, fined, and released. It was perceived as a threat.

What's next, being jailed tor the thoughts in your own head?
13  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What are the things you hate about Islam! on: October 24, 2019, 03:22:33 PM
....,I just want you to be open mind and see what is happening everywhere other than what you were told by media.

Please stop that particular assertion.

You have NO CLUE what random people on an international forum are told or from what source.

Some of us do not watch any television, for example.

Many are highly distrustful of what the media projects.

I will tell you though, that in most Middle Eastern countries, incoming news is highly filtered, and things you say or write are very much monitored...

I don't watch television either but what about internet media, the same thing happening.

Only middle east people are Muslim for most of the people here, but they were everywhere and each of them have different culture!

I'm going to have to agree with Spendulus here. If anything, this forum should be more diverse than many other outlets. Many people here are well informed and show a distrust for government (I mean why else would we all be in to blockchain)?

I have heavy doubt that the majority of users here listen to MSM nonsense. On that note, if anything, the MSM would be the ones defending Islam and promoting it as a peaceful religion.

People here seek out information where they see fit. I personally read ZeroHedge often. If you're getting your world news from CNN or similar outlets you almost deserve your own fate.

So the conclusions being drawn about Islam would come primarily from users forming their own opinion, from hundreds or thousands of sources. Not what we are being "told" to believe.
14  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What are the things you hate about Islam! on: October 22, 2019, 05:32:40 PM
It's all about the zealotry brotha. Many muslims practice willful ignorance to the horrific atrocities their brethren commit in the name of Islam. The same can be said for other religious institutions as well but moreso with Islam in the current politisphere.

Things to do to reduce hate:

- give women equal rights
- stop stoning or beating those women
- children should be treated well too
- stop abusing goats and other animals. This is savagery, not culture
- and the for the love of whatever god you believe in CEASE YOUR VIOLENT CONFLICTS BASED ON RELIGIOUS FERVOR
15  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Rigging the Election - Video II: Mass Voter Fraud on: October 22, 2019, 03:16:48 PM
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hDc8PVCvfKs

You guys think she will even show up to the debate tomorrow after these videos are being released?
That and she's gone in hiding, possibly her health is spiraling downhillary still. (Her weird seizures, passing out, carried lifeless body to SUV, puking up green globes and drinking it during speech..)
Of course there is large scale voter fraud happening on and before election day but numerous studies have shown that voter fraud in U.S. elections is very rare.
Studies have shown that?

I feel better now.

Because, like, studies.

Even if there were official numbers pointing towards there not being any fraud they would be exactly that - just numbers.

The underlying issue is trust. Various US Gov agencies could run whatever studies or tests they want pointing towards voter fraud being an unfounded fear and informed people still aren't going to believe them.

Elections on the blockchain are the only solution. We'll never see it come to fruition.
16  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Bitcointalk User Demographic Poll - What Race Are You? on: October 22, 2019, 02:16:11 PM
I'm also an Asian, a Filipino to be specific.
women should also be listed as a seperate race/species.
I'm going to add women to the list out of curiosity. I don't think there are many here however.
Are you really serious for this? Oh! You really are, it's pretty obvious. But how and why on earth did you add Females in your list? I think it's inappropriate to add it in a list of races but I admitted that it was funny somehow. Watch out dude, somebody out there might find this offensive and get triggered hahaha Grin.

That's fine hopefully someone does get triggered. It would be their own irrational fault.

Thanks for the responses so far everyone. Hoping this gets a little more attention. I was aiming for something like 500 to 1000 responses but it doesn't look like it'll get there. Maybe with some time the numbers will keep piling up.

Poloniex closes his doors for US citizens:
Quote
Beginning today, US persons will no longer be able to create new accounts on Poloniex. Starting on November 1, 2019, US customers will no longer be able to execute trades on the exchange. When trading ends, US customers will still be able to withdraw their assets through Circle until at least December 15, 2019.
https://medium.com/circle-trader/poloniex-spins-out-from-circle-with-new-backing-global-focus-5a19357bdaee
What do you think about it and future of Poloniex?
Also they made 0% fee for all spot trading to the end of year.
It seems that their business is not going very well in last days.

Who uses Polo anymore anyway? I can remember it being one of the best. As soon as the new about Circle acquiring it became public they fell off the face of the earth. From #1 in daily volume to who the hell knows what now.
18  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Bitcointalk User Demographic Poll - What Race Are You? on: October 18, 2019, 03:43:19 PM
Shouldn't Indian be under Asian lol? I was confused since am Indian as well as surely under Asia. Or does that India refers to something else like native Indians?

true asian are only the east asians (china, japan, koreas) to a lesser extgent south east asians), indians look almost like middle easterners or latin americans.

indians don't fall into the category europeans/westerners distinguish indians and chinese quite strictly nowadays.

women should also be listed as a seperate race/species.

This is what I was getting at, yes. While India is a part of Asia there are obvious and distinct differences in physical appearance, culture, etc between someone in India and someone in Japan.

I'm going to add women to the list out of curiosity. I don't think there are many here however.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have a $ 500 fund you want to make a profit on: October 17, 2019, 06:22:36 PM
I have $ 500 or more, is that enough to invest or trade daily ??  Do I need to buy cheap coins or expensive coins?  I want your opinion for me as a newbie.

If you can afford to lose this money then I'd suggest buying high supply low cap coins that are working towards a viable product or have a plan.

Basically gamble it up. You have a much higher chance of pulling in a high profit from a high supply/low cap coins growth than just dumping 500 in to btc ltc eth, etc at this point.

Plus, you're going to want to move this to the announcements section, not here in discussion. If not a mod will end up moving it for you.
