SO YOU WANT TO GET SOME BITCOINS !!!

WELL!!! WHAT FOLLOWS, IS THE FASTEST AND EASIEST PATH KNOWN, TO OBTAINING YOUR FIRST BITCOIN.

Ok, lets cut to the chase !

I'll assume you already have some knowledge of bitcoins and the Bitcoin system. In saying that, I will assume that you now want to own some.

First you'll need a wallet and there are plenty around...downloadable, Physical, even cloud based. I'm not going to recommend any types or brands over any others , but here's a site where you can get one, just to get you started  ( if you need it )

https://bitcoin.org/en/download

(NOTE : when you first start a wallet like this up it has to sync with the rest of the network . This can take a LONG LONG LONG...LONG time...so be prepared ...and come back here when its done .)

YOU'RE BACK !!!.....Ok Now that you have a wallet you can really start.

As you are probably aware Bitcoins can be mined, or you can set up an exchange account and trade them,  or you can buy them through a number of different types of transactions, ( or you can steal them if you are the CEO of a company called MTGOX!!!!) ... but none of these methods are particularly easy or quick and I would strongly recommend that you do extensive research before committing to any one of these paths.

However......there is a way that you can get bitcoins really easily.... and for free!.

Ok that sounds kinda "scammy" doesn't it , but in actual fact,  it's not. Not at all. In fact what I'm about to propose is probably the most viable, widespread method of obtaining bitcoins for beginners in the first instance and its available to anyone.

I'm talking about Bitcoin Faucets

Whats a faucet? Ok, well its a Web site or sometimes a part of a web site, that's set up to "give away" bitcoins, free of charge.

WHATTTT??... I hear you say ....Well, its true, and its not a trick. The intention is to promote the use and distribution of Bitcoin to new users, by providing a simple mechanism that facilitates a payout or "free sample" to anyone who cares to operate it. These mechanisms might be something as simple as clicking on a link , up to and including playing an elaborate game, solving a puzzle, or participating in a quiz.

In this way, new comers to the Cryptocurrency community can establish a small stake and potentially use this to finance other transactions , thus helping to perpetuate currency circulation and notoriety.

Many faucets, also provide basic information service for their users. The goal here is to disseminate greater public Knowledge of the Bitcoin system which hopefully helps dispel some of the fears, myths, or misconceptions that surround the currency today.

So why would a faucet owners do this?  They must be fabulously wealthy! ..right?... NO ..As with anything on the net these days " you don't get sumpin for nothing"... but a faucet  is about as close as you'll come.  A faucet is, of course,  a "for profit" business,  so even though the faucet owners appear to be insane and giving away money, they are actually running advertising on their sites which pays for the faucet and hopefully provides a profit for them.

So that's it ..That's your quickest, easiest, safest path to obtaining your first bitcoin.

In saying that I would like you to accept an invitation. Please begin your journey , by using our faucet rotator.

It is NOT a "bot"  ( For the more seasoned users that are currently hovering over their keyboard and preparing to scold me, at the same time revealing their inherent ignorance.)

It is simply a manually operated mechanism that will allow a user to navigate through a vetted list of honest faucets with a minimum of inconvenience. It is fair to the faucet owner and easy for the new user.

Operate it by following the instructions and begin your journey with Bitcoin.

...Good luck.....

MAY THE FAUCET BE WITH YOU ! Wink

105  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin is going down? on: December 22, 2017, 02:54:08 PM
Why bitcoin start going down and down will it goes below 10000$?

107  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: This faucet exceeded it's safety limits-Cheating faucet users! on: April 14, 2017, 11:59:31 PM
i don't know if the owner of this site is really not paying but as far as i know because i have experienced also creating my own faucet we really have to limit our payouts because of the bots site for example i will set the faucet limit to 10k satoshi per 30 mins so if it exceeds it will not pay until 30 minutes is over

I agree with this guy!!

I'm a faucet owner and ,,,man .,,,it really annoys me  when i see these anti faucet owner threads.

oooo the evil faucet owners are trying to rip us off!!!...

Seriously Huh

A faucet ...GIVES AWAY BITCOINS...in return for this wonderfully charitable gesture, we receive revenue by way of advertising and we are payed by the number of clicks we get on various ads and ...THE VOLUME OF TRAFFIC...which is the main source of rev....clicks are icing on the cake

Seriously , if i ran any of my  faucets deliberately to give 0 reward, just so i could collect advertising revenue.... that would work for about 2 hrs . Users don't like not getting what you say you will give them and they will vote with their feet every time.. Your traffic would fall to 0 in a matter of hours and your advertising revenue would disappear...It wouldn't be worth it.

Clearly ...your comments in this thread support that!

I'd suggest as darklus has said, that  this guy has set a payout limit ...but further to that, is under attack by a BOT.... Now there's the real crime !!!
He's probably not paying attention ,or he doesn't know what to do ,  or his mom is sick and he's visiting her in hospital ...i dunno...but i can tell you his traffic will be almost nothing as his users get more and more annoyed with his faucet and bail....it happens really quickly believe me.

The sad truth is that the real issue should be about crooked users and all these Bloody BOTS.

We are plagued by BOTS !!!!!!

Users are constantly coming up with new ways to extract rewards faster than intended and take more than their fair share and most of the time we don't make a cent off these attacks...they just cost us. Consequently we are constantly forced to come up with new ways to defeat them ...adding more layers of inconvenience to legitimate users ...and the dance goes on!!!

Some Bots are brilliant...you could almost say beneficial ...others are not so great.

I often get hit with bots that get around my timers and anti bot measures by generating new  IP's and wallet addresses rapidly , but still load my page ...and ads.....so i see a massive increase in traffic and revenue ...good hey?

Wrong, then i have an ethical dilemma , because if i knowingly allow that bot to remain attached , Then i'm then ripping off my advertisers...not so good ! Advertisers aren't stupid either , if they cant see benefits gained by advertising with you , they leave too.
So you can see  BOTS VERY BAD !!!!

Look its not easy running a faucet these days . Bitcoin is really expensive ... advertising revenue does not increase with bitcoin value ...advertisers are more reluctant to go with faucet advertising anymore ...google adsense jumped ship ...We are doing it tough.

So having a small minority of ill-informed people whinning about how unethical our behavior is ....just laughable.I'll concede that there may be a few unethical operators , but i can assure you they wont be able to last long.

So give us a break guys !!!...ok ...or you wont have any faucets to steal from  Smiley

Here's a tip for you 3x reward for next 48hrs ...enjoy

Hi all

I've added a rotator to reduce your clicking Smiley.... and also to help some of my Faucet managing colleagues Smiley

http://www.getsomebitcoins.com/rotator/rotator.htm

At this stage , I have only added  30 faucets ... Good ones ... but i will be adding more as requested.

Please understand that I am not responsible for the workings,  content or quality of the faucets I've included.
Any comments /suggestions etc,  relating to that content, should be directed to the faucet managers concerned.

Be advised that I can only include faucets that DO NOT block Iframe embedding.
109  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: HOW DO I GET SOME BITCOINS? on: January 05, 2017, 05:34:32 AM
Nice faucet. 400 satoshi per hour for me is good enough. I hope it lasts for a long time.
Are you adding a timer?  Smiley
Hi inarakun
Actually no, I hadn't considered a separate timer. If you attempt to claim before your allotted time is up, the script will let you know , so I didn't think it necessary , but i will look into that ...Thank you for your suggestions Smiley
110  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: HOW DO I GET SOME BITCOINS? on: January 05, 2017, 05:32:29 AM
A great introduction for your faucet. You might add a blog or news tab about Bitcoin trends as a side page for more views.
The pay is decent and ads are not covering up the page.
I recommend you to divide your balance into 3 and allow users to claim 2 trending Altcoins along with Bitcoins. Most of the Altcoin faucets are dead and a decent claim amount will rank your website among the top in several faucet rotators.
Good luck, fellow Bitcoiner!
Thank you Xavier , That's worth consideration.

Good looking site!
Please add XAPO support.
Hi Bennl,
Unfortunately the faucet can only be "tied" to one mirco-payment service at a time. Although I am told that XAPO is a very good service, I have found that FaucetHub has some really good additional benefits for faucet managers and users alike, so I will be staying with them for now.
I'm glad you like the site , please visit often.
112  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: HOW DO I GET SOME BITCOINS? on: January 03, 2017, 03:26:23 AM
100 satoshi was sent to you on FaucetHub.io.
Thanks for 100 sat! Faucet is simple and easy to claim and this kind of script we don't see much lately. Rewards are decent for that timer and 15% referral commission is good.
I liked your tutorial, i find it very helpful for newbies(if they read it  Smiley) Good luck with faucet!

Thank you for your comments . I'm glad you like it .
113  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: HOW DO I GET SOME BITCOINS? on: January 03, 2017, 03:25:03 AM
nice intro for your website, first i thought it is an simple article about faucets and then i saw there is a faucet in the thread
the website looks good and i see that faucet has a pretty big balance in bitcoins so i think it is a future faucet and it will resist long time

Thank you ...Please visit often. I will endeavor to improve it as often as possible.
114  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: HOW DO I GET SOME BITCOINS? on: January 03, 2017, 03:23:28 AM
You wrote a good introduction for your faucet.  Smiley

I think it would be very helpful in Beginners and Help section, as you are teaching the basics about faucets, somehow a tutorial.

But about the faucet, the reward is good, 100 satoshis every 15 minutes is a good prize for me, I can claim really fast without pop-ups and the page loads fast. You are using the best micro payment system too, FaucetHub.io, thanks for it.

thank you I appreciate your support Smiley

I'll be adding a rotator soon Smiley

116  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FaucetBOX.com Discussion on: December 16, 2016, 04:31:42 AM
I wondering, is it possible to put faucetbox script into wordpress "page"?
I want to make blog about cryptocurrency and in additional pages put my few faucets

Simplest and I think the only way currently is to just use an iframe on a Wordpress page:

Code:
<iframe style="width: 500px; height: 500px" src="http://url-to-your-faucet.com">

Adjust width and height to your needs.

Hi, Kazuldur i found your solution for integrating Bitcoin Faucet to Wordpress as an Iframe but here is my problem

Lets say my Faucet host on Claimbits.com/Faucet & i use it as iframe in ClaimBits.com & i successfully did it.But when someone share Referral link he must Promote Claimbits.com/Faucet/r=bitcoin address. So traffic will be on Original page where faucet hosts & it make iframe totally useless.
I tried Rediretion but it doesn't work because it auto redirect iframe Sad
So i wanna ask if there is any possible way to use iframe with referral link so no one can go to directly page where faucet hosts.

Btw sorry for my poor english  Cheesy
There is already plugin to create faucet on wordpress. Just use google to search )

Go here https://99bitcoins.com/bitcoin-faucet-wordpress-plugin/ Ofir Biegel has done a full instructional video on the subject.
117  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FaucetBOX.com Discussion on: December 16, 2016, 04:18:13 AM
@OP Have you posted your review of all Faucetbox alternatives? I do not feel comfortable to migrate to these experimental microwallet services which have popped out in recent weeks.

Unfortunately no, things are changing too fast, such a review would be outdated after a week.

However I can recommend one thing: don't use other faucet scripts. I've done small code review of them and I could find serious vulnerabilities in all of them. I'm talking about things that allow bypassing timer and in one case also captcha. I've reported most of them, but I wasn't satisfied in how my reports were handled. And I didn't even do a thorough testing, I just spent 5 minutes looking at code of each script. That doesn't include FaucetHUB.io, as they don't have their own script yet, but it does include elbandi's Minifaucet.

I'll give my random thoughts though:

1. I trust ePay.info the most, but that's only because it seems like there's more than one person behind it. It has highest "Bus factor" (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bus_factor). However I do have many issues with them. They seem to be adding features too fast and without proper testing since FaucetBOX.com announcement. I don't know how it looks now, but historically their support was terrible. From posts in their topic I suspect they're having problems with data consistency. They're here since 2 years (they claim they have 3 years of experience, but FaucetBOX.com is here for only 2 years and I'm pretty sure FaucetBOX.com launched before them) and didn't steal any coins, thats a good sign too.
2. FaucetSystem.com seems to be run by just one person (Bus factor = 1...), which is a problem. They also made many common mistakes when launching, I don't think it's being run by someone with experience in sysops. Just like with ePay.info, I suspect they're having problems with data consistency. They copied some things directly from FaucetBOX.com, which I don't like (the features for owners/users on main page). They're kinda lying about fees (they claim "No system fees for users" but they do have fees for users). They responded best for my vulnerability reports (both in site itself and script) though, which is a plus.
3. FaucetHub.io seems to be run by just one person (Bus factor = 1), which is a problem. However I must say they their launch was pretty professional and it seems their codebase is well tested. I didn't read anything that would suggest data inconsistencies. They require users to register on FaucetHub.io, which may or may not be a problem for you. Personally I would use FaucetHub.io if only mexicantarget's wasn't the only maintainer. EDIT: I've just read about this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1672870.msg17139016#msg17139016 . So it looks like they're pushing it a little bit too fast, just like ePay.info. That said, bugs huppen and they handled this correctly.

So my best advice is: diversify. Create faucets with each service. And as always, keep only as much coins in services as you need. Your coins are safe only if you, and only you, own the private key.

Kazuldur!!!

I suppose you are sick of hearing it , but thanks again for everything . You and your team have been so professional  patient and supportive over the last couple of years. You are to be commended for your innovations and service to the Bitcoin community.

FYI ...and for anyone else who is gnashing their teeth over what to do, I thought long and hard about the payment service i wanted to use on migration . I looked at all options seriously and read a lot of material about each company both in favor and against.

While I would normally agree with your comments wrt to diversification,  i personally think that having a bunch of faucets with a bunch of different micro-payment service providers would start to present messy management issues and i personally don't want to go there.
Its always risky putting all your eggs in one basket, but that's what I've decided to do anyway. So...After much deliberation I decided to go with

...FaucetHub.Io ...They/he/Mex honestly came out looking the best, all things considered.

I have subsequently migrated my faucets over and I am happy to report that I have not had a single problem. ( apart from my own stupidity) Its a smooth polished operation and humming away nicely. I'm not even getting any bot attention at the moment , which is just a F$#%$% miracle.

I get that Mex is new and running the show alone , but I tell you,  he appears to works pretty hard . I'm actually impressed by the speed of service and response you get when you have a question. The guy must be a dynamo.

The onsite chat feature is pretty useful. If Mex doesn't help you personally , he seems to have recruited some of the "crazy shut-ins" from the chat room Wink to help out and they seem like a pretty knowledgeable and friendly bunch.

Quite frankly, If Mex doesn't keel over and die from a heart attack through over work ,  I can see Faucethub.io becoming a force à compter avec in the near future. This is truly my unbiased opinion.
118  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FAUCET BOTS on: November 30, 2016, 03:27:51 PM
@ getrichquack
I guess i might never start a faucet because right now i even don't know how to identify a bot  Huh Grin
How about the scammer admins which are avoiding to pay real members with the excuse : "oh, i'm sorry i'm out of funds because of the bots!" ?
I've seen to many scams and scammers that even if you pay me, i can't trust a website even if its managed by Obama himself. The best reliable thing is own payment proof.
So i say it's not just a war between admins and bots but there is another war going on : members vs. scammer admins which not many people realise about this too.
From what i read the bots are attracted by the faucets with funds. How about a faucet with 0 real money funds and paying once a week after approval/check account activity direct to wallet ? I think there are faucets which are using this technique such as boomfaucet. I have reached the 17th payment since july. The admin is trusted so far because is always paying.
. It takes to much to verify 10000 members to pay them ? well you are the admin, you wanted a faucet , deal with it ,you will have to check 10000 members if you want to earn money, you will have to click on 10000 members to verify just as those 10000 members are clicking for a f**ing 10 satoshi  Roll Eyes so being admin it's not for lazy kids  Grin Nowadays kids with a laptop can open a faucet/hyip/ptc from their house basement  Undecided and i would gladly vote for opening a website and being a member only with the ID card or with the paypal account Grin Once someone did something wrong paypal could trace and take legal actions. No more bots,no more Tor(only for Wikileaks to expose corruption) , no more scammers ,everyone is happy Cheesy At this stage internet needs a bit dictatorship to clean the scums .
But the weekly payments at 15k-20k gives possibility to the admins to easily become scammers. Especially when they are not noticing members about financial issues and keep faucet online such as playbtc (welovefaucets).
And yes, felicita is right, disable register from time to time for bot check is a good choice too.

Hmmm where do I start?

Ok... I guess there are "scammers" in all categories. I'm not surprised that some faucets are run in an unscrupulous manner . There are crooks everywhere ...sure.....That's life unfortunately!

Yes ...There are quite a few faucets that are indeed self /constructed/managed and many use a weekly payment regime with thresholds.  They generally use very specific  custom scripts Like your BOOMFAUCET( probably wrote them themselves) and they manage their own payment system. Another that comes to mind Is ( is/was?) Milli at 99bitcoins . The guy who ran that one , OFIR ...BTW...is a very honest and helpful guy! ( go to his site ...he has LOADS of faucet info)

However , a lot of faucets ...quite a lot actually ... use one of a number of standardized scripts that admins mod themselves which in turn rely on the use of a micro-payment management company ...like faucetinabox for instance. These admins are not verifying 1000's of payments themselves, that's done automatically through interaction between the micro-payment system and the script supplied by faucetinabox and installed on the admins server.

I'm not sure how a payment system using paypal would work ...or if many people would want to participate . One of the Principals/ features/ attributes of Bitcoin payments is anonymity...not to mention decentralization. So if you reverted to a Paypal type payment option you would really be subverting both.

Wrt to "keeping the faucet online" and "noticing users about financial issues"  I think you might be referring to recent issues with the We love faucets scripted sites ...Playbtc being one of these . It appears that We love faucets ...the mirco payment service... actually had issues ...not the Playbtc faucet itself.  I personally don't believe that the Admin of Playbtc "kept his site online " In  a deliberate attempt  to scam people into coming to his "page" without having to give them a reward. I would say the Admin just hadn't noticed ...

Quite honestly if my payment provider "broke down" i probably wouldn't disable my site either. I'd simply wait for them to come back up ...If i even noticed. You just don't monitor faucet status 24/7 ...you know ! To a certain extent, its a case of set and forget.....But ...because of all these assholes and their bots ...you need to check it pretty regularly ...i personally check mine  2 or 3 times a day,

Look ..I'm happy to give you a list of very good faucets in PM ...including my own ( the BEST FAUCET EVER!!!)...that I am very confidant can be trusted and will operate in a manner  which should suit you ...let me know if you'd like it.
I wont post it here as i believe that would be considered off subject and unethical
119  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FAUCET BOTS on: November 28, 2016, 10:05:30 AM
99% of the faucet admin don't realise some things which may look like a bot invasion over the faucets but in fact it's not really :

1. With all the PTCs scams more people are moving to faucets (to the serious and paying ones with decent claims) in fact even me i prefer to advertise  faucet ref link instead of a PTC ref link.
2. The global poverty and job missing opportunities, are increasing, more and more people are coming and trying to earn some money from internet (specially from poor countries).
3. The are unemployed people, like me, who has lots of free time to keep visiting and claiming on faucets all day long (a paranoid faucet admin might confuse me/us with a bot because i have time to claim all day long). Also there could be people on a wheel chair or with an incurable disease.
4. If the faucet claims are fast i mean not to many captchas to solve for few satoshi then of course i will stay and claim otherwise i will leave the faucet because its NOT WORTH THE TIME (and electricity used by computer) to solve half a day captchas for few hundreds satoshis. Real humans can leave also if there are to many captchas but faucet admins will beleive that he get rid of bots with to much captchas but in fact admins are losing also real people.
5. If a faucet admin gets paranoid about bots then he should shut down the faucet and try to earn money from something else (such as affiliation) with his domain .
6. I dont say that bots doesnt exist , i do not know , i'm not expert in computers , bots, hackers, dos attacks are a real risk on internet and once you open a website you need to be aware of them as admin but dont get paranoid on real people, the more layers on captchas added the better the chance to lose real people and of course traffic decreases. Use a clever captcha such as 3d captcha or the rotating images.
7. There are faucets with 4 levels of captchas ...do you think i'm gonna join and claim there ? NEVER because i don't wanna lose all my day just for solving captchas. That means i'm a bot if i don't join there ? If yes then you are getting paranoid and you need to shut down your faucet  Grin
8. I do support serious and decent paying faucets by clicking once a day on an adsense spot (not more than once or twice so they don't get banned by google).
Getyourbitco.in/ has changed captchas and introduced 1 more level , that's fine because has decent claims but 1 more captcha if they'll add i'll leave their faucet for good. Already time to solve their captchas has increased.
Look man ...you can tell the difference between a user that claims a lot and persistently... and a bot. You just have to to compare the Micro payment  agents records to the logs on your server .

A lot of Bots these days are "cleverly" designed to change IP and wallet address's on every attempt, but with some rudimentary investigation you can usually identify an offending IP range ...

I can tell you pal... bots most certainly do exist !!...case in point:  the infamous DEPOT DATA CENTER  ( look them up)

The indigence you are demonstrating through having to solve annoying captchas and anti-bot measures is better directed at the parasites that create these things in the first place ...Not the poor faucet owners!! Quite honestly, If it wasn't for these Bots/cheats/thieves you could claim un-impeded till "the cows came home" and smaller faucets would happily risk higher payouts .

In fact ...You are the very sort of person that genuine faucet operators want on their sites. Believe me, they are not happy about having to apply all of these bot counter measures. They are as much a pain in the ass for them as they are for the users and they understand only too well that you want to claim quickly and move on ....They want you to !

Another significant problem for faucet operators  is that the bots also affect faucet revenue .

Faucets owners rely on the advertising impressions and click throughs from faucet users...like you. Thats what makes the faucet money.  But...most bots are only designed to solve captures and "sometimes"  defeat anti-bot measures ( if they're lucky) , but  never to actually load the full web page, Thereby facilitating a saving of labor on the part of the bot user and a more rapid growth in the bot users takings.

The problem here is that the Faucet owners not only loose coin through the  operation of the faucet , but then  also fail to receive any revenue for a visit to the site , because the advertiser doesn't record any impression . So they get "whacked" twice.

I personally witnessed one attack where a bot attached,  took from the faucet and then took a referral cut  and then changed IP and Wallet address ...defeating the timers ...and repeated this every 3 seconds... The advertisers didn't even register any traffic through the site.
Fortunately, it was identified quickly, but the faucet operator had to pull the whole site down and remove his balance  to end the attack

In fact ....I've actually seen and known faucet operators who have been driven OOB by these things.

In some cases they may be destroying a small family business operated by people who are struggling to pay bills (like you) and simply looking for a supplementary income to feed their kids( like you ). Honestly, how do they justify doing that ...just because they can?  Because they're Ego's are more important than that families livelihood?.... Seriously?

Even if they were to just build bots that allowed the faucet operators to collect CPI/CPC  revenues,  they'd still be ripping off the advertisers, who are paying for real people, like you to look at... or at least see... their ads.

Also ...FYI ...Ad sense has withdrawn support for faucets recently...yet another slap in the face for Honest faucet operators.

So man ...I'm sorry... but your attitude is just wrong and Faucet admins are NOT paranoid ...this is literally a war, between honest small business people who are simply trying to make extra money  and unscrupulous thieves who don't care what they have to do to accumulate BTC.

I get that its frustrating for you , but direct your annoyance at the people who deserve it ...please.

Here's another one  Wink

http://www.bitcoinadultfaucetlivecams.lsl.com/en/free/

It looks like a white label version of a Jasmin cam girl site , but has some sort of affiliation with the Adultbitcoinfaucet site that i found previously
It looks like its relatively new, because the featured girls option only had 3 girls online ( but they were pretty hot Smiley )

Its a live cam girl site , You can join for free, and look around , but you have to buy tokens to give to the girls.

I have to say the video quality was excellent !!!! and the Girls were F@#$% gorgeous!!!
It gives you a really large viewing area on screen and its TOP quality !

It took me a while to find the bitcoin payment option but it was there.

Enjoy!!!
