101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Antminer with a laptop on: September 28, 2017, 06:02:23 AM
Watch this video.

A laptop is only required to configure your miner during initial setup.
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ONIX PROJECT, A DECENTRALIZED LOANS PLATFORM! on: September 27, 2017, 09:04:09 PM
I can only tell it agian... Dont mine at the original pool of ONIX.

Try it here:

logo onix    x11   Low   stratum+tcp://mining-dutch.nl:3620    Vardiff   stratum+tcp://mining-dutch.nl:3720    High   stratum+tcp://mining-dutch.nl:3820

Payment is on every found block. You see your complete statistic while mining and so on .. I have lost 16 hours with 20 GH on mining the ONIX pool directly. But with mining on mining-dutch
payment was really on every found block...

Greets matwolt

Thanks this is very helpful.

i hope that dev will not spend time to mac wallet, we dont need and there is too much few user to waste time developing this. Please dev, keep building ONX and forget mac users

I do not agree with your conclusion. I use a mac and need a wallet. At the moment I have a Windows VM to which I have installed the ONIX wallet. I also mine ONIX.
Why the hostility? its a decentralized platform not a policed platform or a dictatorship. Let all be happy there is enough for all.
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ONIX PROJECT, A DECENTRALIZED LOANS PLATFORM! on: September 26, 2017, 06:48:02 PM
Anyone able to successfully mine it the last days?

Interesting that is why I came here. Mined on the pool saw my shares but no coin was paid into my wallet! My 10GH miner was connected to the pool for over 12 hours and not one coin Angry

In previous weeks I had mined it it also took a long while for the coins to come into my wallet
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Innosilicon A5 DashMaster 30.2G 750W on: September 26, 2017, 06:35:41 PM
It seems that no one interested in the announcement of the new batch of Inno A5.

http://www.innosilicon.com/html/a5-miner/index.html#Buy

Given that the Dash diff skyrockets, ROI for A5 seems impossible.

Yeah $9999 each is a little crazy. I really hope nobody pays that much for one of them.

My thoughts exactly. There seems to be no good reason for the high price. I shall look forward to buying them at knocked down prices - $2000
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Generator Box to deal with Miner Noises and some cooling on: September 08, 2017, 05:41:13 PM
Hi,

I have been looking for various solutions for my noisy miner (co location not an option) I came across this:

https://www.zombie-box.com/shop/package-deal-20dblarge

Please let me know what you think especially to do with the heat dissipation I currently have IBelink (800 watts) expecting an L3+ (1200watts) next week.

My first option was more expensive (too expensive)

107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: WTS -- ANTMINER D3 and L3+ (WITH PSU) ---- NOVEMBER LOT on: September 08, 2017, 05:09:07 PM
Custom fees? WTF these havent even shipped yet.

7000USD for  D3 in November is ridiculous.

Yesterdays lot was 1450 USD, shipping is included and total is 1656.
Your're charging 5 times that amount.
Hope no one buys from you and you are left selling these at a loss.

Thank you! well said. My thoughts exactly. These individuals are so greedy. They would soon make the companies drive up the prices when they notice the items they sell at a profit for $1450 can be sold for $7000.

To those buying at stupid prices. What are you planning to mine with it? I hope you are not using to calculations done in January when the largest asic X11 miner was 900MH?

Be wise. I am looking forward to when these machines are dumped on the market for below cost price as people find out they will not break even at that price, and the greedy opportunist find out they have a collection of obsolete miners as bigger and better ones come on the market. If you can pay $7000 for a machine that cost $1500. consider just buying the coins.
108  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: coinmarketcap VS worldcoinindex on: September 05, 2017, 07:18:11 PM
i mean like this :
[For Example]
coinmarketcap make a percentage based on every trade happened in every exchanger that offer you BTC/USD and others pair.
worldcoinindex make a percentage based on top exchanger that offering BTC/USD and others pair.

may be this, last week I was doing ETH trade and every two hours I checked ETH price at coinmarketcap, I do this to avoid being in and out of exchange all the time

What happened:

I saw the ETH price was $338, two hours later I went to see it again and the ETH price was $ 338, two hours later I went to see it and the ETH price was $338, only after a long time I realized that I had a problem with the coinmarketcap that the price of ETH was not changing and on that day I lost money because I do day trade.

ok that was episode of the ETH

then happened to XRP this time I really lost money because I had done some technical analysis and indicated that I would have some XRP dump next day I went to coinmarketcap.com and it was okay, that was my mistake.

in fact the price had fallen and I lost money

Two days ago it was with lisk

If you must use coin market cap, drill down to "Markets" of the price you are looking at. You would see the details which makes up the Price you see. There is usually a difference in price based on the pairs and exchanges. I have seen coin make gains of 100% plus to only ETH or only LTC and nor to BTC and in reversed order too.

it should not be too had to sell how much did you buy it? $2700? add 10% for your troubles viola $2970.00 and that would be 1BTC to me for my trouble.
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Anyone else already mining with the iBeLink dm11g? on: September 03, 2017, 04:51:14 AM
I usually mine DASH. decided to try out other X11 coins. MUE pools had very high rejects overall. There was a very significant difference in payouts across Pools.

This Pool gave me the highest and most frequent payout:

To connect to this P2Pool node simply point your miner at:
Pool URL: stratum+tcp://p2pool.e-pool.net:5872 Username: Your_Wallet_Address_For_Payment Password: Not required
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Am New in here.Does Any Antminer mining other coins? (XMR) on: September 03, 2017, 04:24:39 AM
Antminers are made by Bitmain.com
Their current products include:
Antminer S9   Algorithm SHA256 - Bitcoin Miner
Antminer L3+ Algorithm Scrypt - Litecoin Miner
Antminer D3  Algorithm X11 - DASH Miner

Notice how every coin has a different Algorithm. XMR uses something different called cryptonite algorithm. The result is ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit) miners only work on one type of algorithm. CPU and GPU mining on the other hand can be made to mine various algorithms with the right miner software, this is however extremely unprofitable for many coins with asic miners in the market.

Simple answer : No
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: WTS -- ANTMINER D3 and L3+ (WITH PSU) ---- NOVEMBER LOT on: September 01, 2017, 10:02:13 PM
D3 best offer $1700 with PSU.
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: I have the money but i dont havr the know how... on: August 29, 2017, 11:06:24 PM
I would start by studying the different projects and finding one that has a vision that works for you. Watchout for projects that are connected to existing companies i.e. Ripple, Stratis and SiaCoin this could be good or bad depending on perspective. If you just want to jump in and learn the hard way (not a great idea) at least do the following.

Get a basic understanding of BlockChain take the Crash course with 99Bitcoins.com complete it.
Visit  whattomine.com - estimates what you can potentially earn - information only valid for "today"
Visit nice hash.com - they sells /buy hashes so what they pay per miner, GPU for each coin is on the site.
If and when you decide to buy miners try and buy directly from the manufacturers. Also know that ordering is for a very short period.

ASIC Miners
www.Bitmain.com
www.iBelink.co
https://canaan.io/product/avalonminer-741/
https://shop.pinidea.io/
http://www.baikalminer.com/

Others
http://www.cryptobadger.com
https://mineshop.eu

Go to youtube and checkout mining videos. Especially GPU Mining
Note the dates on videos as some information becomes outdated by current events.

If you are planning on buying an ASIC miner also plan for a colocation hosting or a quiet server cabinet /Soundproof server cabinet ASIC miners are very loud and not designed for homes. You would have to have a plan to deal with the noise and keep it cool at the same time.

http://www.kellsystems.com - Soundproof Server Cabinets

There really is no short cut. Attempting to take one would result in you buying obsolete ASIC miners or overpriced items on AliExpress or Ebay. Do not spend a dime until you clearly understand what you are investing into. All the best.

115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Anyone else already mining with the iBeLink dm11g? on: August 23, 2017, 11:14:09 PM
Hey folks,

Good morning.

Anyone else out there mining with the dm11g yet? I've searched all over and all I can find are threads about the pre-order, etc. So if this thread already exists please point me in the right direction.

Anyways I've been mining for a few days and I am admittedly pretty new to mining but have not been able to get over 7.5 GH/s mining DASH consistently.

I switched to MUE for a couple of those days and the output hovered between 8.5 and 9.5 GH/s, so I know the miner is capable of it.

Does it have anything to do with which pool I'm pointing at? Is there a specific pool you'd recommend for this miner? I tried the Suprnova pool on port 9991 and still averaged 7.2 to 7.5 all night.

I've also read something about a voltage regulator?

Anyways are you happy with it? It's a really, really nice feeling piece of equipment just wish it wasn't so loud.

Snow

The Miner should be mining advertised spec 10.08 ghs. Any pool you mine on reports your miner performance with accepted and rejected hash the only variance you should be seeing is a 10% - or 10% + average hashing rate. meaning sometimes if your miner is rated at 10 ghs it would be normal to go down to 9.0,9.5,9.8 ghs hashing rate and sometimes it will go above like 10.9 or even 11.0 ghs, but if your miner is spec to hash 10.08 and is hashing 7.5 that is just not acceptable maybe ibelink needs a firmware update. IF you look at some Antminer L3+ reviews on youtube you can see average hash is always very close to advertised spec 500 mhs. During intial testing of the Dm11g people had notice Ibelink was not able to hash at a consistent rate of 10ghs always dipping down to 7 or 8 ghs before returning to 10 ghs and then back down. Hopefully they can fix this for you. Good luck.

Yes there has been a recent firmware update. Advertised on Twitter and on the Support Thread on the DASH forum. Its as you said the miner fluctuates in hashes but never consistently low.

A few of us have not been able to connect on Supernova. I have been able to mine on Port 80 with very erratic hashes swinging as low as 80mh to 20000mh. I now use Coinmine it very consistent. NiceHash is also good but I am a DASH miner so prefer to be paid DASH.

The ports I have used are:

stratum+tcp://x11.usa.nicehash.com:3336
stratum+tcp://dash80.suprnova.cc:80
stratum+tcp://dash.coinmine.pl:6099

For more information visit the Support Thread for iBelink on the DASH Forum. Its my first miner ever (including CPU/GPU) and I found it very helpful. Yes the Miner is very loud and I am currently looking to get a used Soundproof Server Rack. So if anyone knows where i can get one please let me know.

https://www.dash.org/forum/threads/ibelink™-dm11g-asic-dash-miner-support-thread.16151/

All configuration question can be addressed by iBelink support on the DASH forum. Response are very fast. I have the same miner and hashing average is above stated 10800.

120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Help with BANK WIRE TO BITMAIN on: August 08, 2017, 01:45:06 AM
if you can its best with LTC or BTC. I wired $2081 usd (paid forex and wire fees to my bank) for an L3+ in June. I paid the Bank charges in Canada and transferred the required amount. BITMAIN claims they got $50 less. Now my order is in limbo.
I have sent proof of full payment but its fallen on deaf ears. I asked to be given a Litecoin address to pay their claimed difference $50.00 usd. Instead I was sent a BTC invoice for about $200 Angry
I am still waiting for my LTC invoice for $50.

I made other puchases which I paid for with BTC and LTC. Everything was perfect.
