101  Economy / Speculation / Re: Cash out or HODL - Bitcoin? on: December 24, 2020, 05:36:51 PM
Here we are again at crossroads to choose whether to cashout bitcoin which we have or else Hodl for some more time? This week is undoubtedly most complicated week of the year for bitcoin users because history has not been so kind to bitcoin towards the end of year's post bullruns. If Bitcoin has already achieved its ATH for the season then it's better to cashout but if Bitcoin is going to surge further then HODling is sensible but how do you figure out as we cannot depend of predictions since it fails most of the time. What's your opinion?
why not do both? it is the best thing to do if you are having a dilemma whether to cash out or to HODL. all you have to do is to cash out a percentage of your bitcoin and hold the rest of it. I've been doing this for more than a year now and I haven't regretted it doing it so far.

This is realistic, because we will not know when to need finance as an expense, of course this must also be taken into account that the two must also be balanced. Either HODL or cashing a little as a necessity is important, because market movements will not always be bullish, there are times when the market will also experience a correction, of course this must also be considered.
102  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: OTC Over The Counter BTC Trading? on: December 24, 2020, 05:31:55 PM
If we refer to the principle of annual finance, what happens is the movement of bitcoin with certainty of decline due to annual withdrawals, of course we cannot just let go of this because the bitcoin base itself is also financial so I think it is unlikely that this will happen from this concept.

The next possibility is a disaster that allows digital problems to occur, such as hacking that can happen at any time. Of course, it will have an impact if people or large exchanges are being hijacked so that the market influence will also fluctuate.
103  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $20 000 BTC. We did it on: December 24, 2020, 05:09:56 PM
20000 is indeed an important milestone in the Bitcoin history, but I am confident that this is just the tip of the iceberg. BTC is an asset that is here to stay. A viable replacement for Gold as a proof of value and of course as a mean of payment.

As we think that currently the movement of bitcoin has reached a peak higher than the estimated 20k, of course the next target of 30k is not impossible. However, it is true that the movement of bitcoin is likely to fluctuate less with a downward movement, this is because there is a correction that can occur when a new ATH is obtained.
104  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin proved it once again on: December 20, 2020, 06:14:07 PM
Bitcoin has proved it once again that it's the key player in the world of crypto and prices of altcoins depends of bitcoin, we witnessed it yesterday wherein bitcoin's value dropped which caused huge fluctuations in the value of altcoins and even drove altcoins to red zone but when Bitcoin quickly regained the value he altcoin market got steady.

Bitcoin in a way actually has control over altcoins but not all altcoins. If you notice, you'd see that some altcoins seem to maintain their balance or even go more green when bitcoin slides into a depression.

Bitcoin is the same as USD, as a major trading pair. So that is why the impact of bitcoin prices will also have an impact on altcoins, of course this is also related to each other even though investors are still invested, but the up and down movement of prices for altcoins must have an impact.
105  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the founder of Bitcoin Satoshi Nakamoto show up and give bitcoin? on: December 20, 2020, 06:12:18 PM
I do not think so if they airdrop big amounts of bitcoin then the price will be affected because those who are not intersted on investing in bitcoin will sell it imeadiatly and the price will go down.

I think it doesn't have much of an impact, because part of the total supply is already owned by the investors so that the price drops can only occur when the seller is about to sell it, but until now, seeing the position of bitcoin is still positive, I think it's too early to predict bitcoin will fall more far.
106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen when the last Bitcoin gets mined? on: December 19, 2020, 09:38:07 PM
It is obvious that the price will rise very much. But most likely the last bitcoin will never be mined, some people do not want this to happen.

It is not certain that this will happen, because in fact, whether it can be mined or not, it will not have a big impact, because most of the total supply is already held by investors, So that the influence does not seem too big.
107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you sell your BTC for $100 000, and never go back to the game again? on: December 19, 2020, 09:33:13 PM
I'll be honest with you. I probably would. There's a chance it could go higher in this cycle, but we could as well end at 50k in 2021 and enter a bear market for another 2-3 years. I have enough BTC @100k to build a house, start a business, put some money in stocks, help my friends and family with their business. I'd probably do much more in these 3 years with money at hand than I'd be able to do with more money 5 years later when we enter a new bull market.

There is a lot to watch out for until 100k can be achieved, the question is is it possible? Since the market cannot predict exactly how the price will form, it takes a big prospect to get a price of 100K, at least 30k in the position in 2021 is more likely to happen.
108  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin 10 Years From Now on: December 19, 2020, 09:26:03 AM
out of lot of negativity bitcoin completed 10 years for now in the market with billions of transactions with less fee transferred which proved the potential of bitcoin peer to peer transaction in market

We will not know what the next 10 years will be, even when bitcoin reaches a new ATH there will always be price corrections / drops that occur. Of course this is a natural thing, I think we are too far from thinking what it will be like in the next 10 years. Just wanting bitcoin to continue to grow next year is very good for future prospects.
109  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Not everyone will agree with Bitcoin, you should know this! on: December 19, 2020, 09:23:30 AM
Can't please all of them plus everyone is entitled to their opinion/belief hopefully that still stands today. Cuban is a billionaire and he is just one of many, if he does not agree with bitcoin then there will be one or two who will agree. I do agree about his statement that bitcoin is not a hedge for doomsday scenarios, if taken to a literal sense, I would go for something practical rather than a bunch of codes when the society as we all know it collapse.

Pros and cons will always exist in a business, of course this is also very influential for the development of bitcoin.

Including one of the billionaires who say it, because the impact can go up and down. I think this is something that usually happens so far, everyone has the right to have their own opinion and determine for themselves which is the best for him. When it comes to investing, I think this also depends on the individual's thinking, considering that everyone's level of risk is also different.
110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ATH of USD value or BTC value - where will you sell? on: December 19, 2020, 09:19:27 AM
Since bitcoin and altcoin are pumping these past few days I thought that it's time to take profit soon. Problem is I'm hesitating when to sell. I admit I bought some of those near their ATH on its btc value.
If I sell when it reaches ATH of USD value I can recover my loss but looking on btc value, it's not even half of how much btc I spend when I bought it.

For you, will some of the alts reach their ATH again in terms of btc value?

Any suggestion on what to do guys?

P.S. I'm not sure where is the proper board for this. I'm thinking this can be on bitcoin discussion, trading discussion, or altcoin discussion.

You should be sure of what will happen, because in market conditions NEW ATH will also provide corrections before the occurrence of a new ATH.

This will definitely happen, I think if you have bought it close to ATH then you will automatically experience a loss, but if you trade without using leverage on futures, I think it's still safe for me to hold, because I am optimistic that bitcoin will reach ATH. new in the next year. However, this certainly has to be re-analyzed what the prospects are developing so that it could be the reason why bitcoin will get its new ATH again.

112  Economy / Speculation / Re: $25,000 can be achieved by end of year? Or January 2021? on: December 17, 2020, 01:09:05 PM
I don't know. I wouldn't like to reach $25k that soon. It'll be considered that bitcoin is doing again the fluctuations it did in 2017. That's a really stressful market and I wouldn't dare to buy anything at the moment. But it'll drop soon, so get your pockets ready once it does.
you will have to wait for long for a drop to happen, bitcoin is about to make a ground braking record and I believe that we will have $30k price before the end of 2020. The market is highly bullish this period and so any thing can happen we flying to the moon right now.

Everything can happen, but it is still a prediction because we don't know what will happen to the market itself, I think the end of the year 25k could arrive, but to be able to reach that price the market has to be able to close the 24k area first because there is a trendline. as a price barrier that must be broken.

If 24k can break it is not impossible that 30k will arrive, but I think it is very unlikely that by the end of this year bitcoin will reach that price, maybe if in 2021 it will most likely happen.
113  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin This year & Next year. on: December 17, 2020, 11:37:14 AM

There is no way to dump like in 2017 cause In this year RSI looks strong, This is just the beginning, we will cross 30,000 before the end of December. Next year Bitcoin will be the most valuable digital currency in the world. When the world economy is in recession, Bitcoin says I don't care anything!

Of course things are different this year with 2017, why is that? the pandemic factor could be one of the causes which resulted in the majority of people being more likely to be at home so they had time to learn bitcoin, plus most countries are likely to experience a recession resulting in a number of countries having to turn to secure their finances, so that the impact can be one of the affected is bitcoin.

I think this year is the beginning of the peak of bitcoin in the future and it is not impossible that 30k will be obtained soon.
114  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin touch 22000$. 🤑 what's Next? on: December 17, 2020, 08:44:04 AM
Bitcoin is now over 21k+ now we can ATH and its touch 22k+ What you think about btc next move?

24k can be a new ATH that can happen, support because there is a trendline there that has not been touched, it may be the first to determine between these areas.

However, if 24k breaks then 30k is not impossible to become the next foothold for bitcoin prices, considering that the FOMC that occurred in the US yesterday did not have a very positive impact, I think this will also affect the movement of bitcoin.
115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The dangers of buying bitcoin thru Paypal - real life example on: December 17, 2020, 08:41:01 AM
I still don't understand why the adopted bitcoin... To make more money or what? I don't even know if to believe that the bitcoin in a user's account is real or some figures they are manipulating in their back-end database.
they say that users cant withdrew thier btc inside thier paypal account and im also thinking that paypal doesnt really implement the whole crypto thing but like you said , it can only be figures and they do this to make more money .

the guys feedback can be a reference to us that plans to invest in crypto inside the paypal in the future if what to expect .

this was still early and paypal can change the way the work for once and for the sake of crypto .

Another way you could tell is the blockchain. If I send 1 BTC to you, it will show on blockchain that I actually had a balance of 1 BTC, and that I sent it to a wallet who now holds the 1 BTC. But PayPal's trasanctions can't be seen on blockchain (as they allegedly said).

Paypal legality can be a unit of reference where the thing not to send it is very minimal, because it relates to the reputation of paypal itself.

Indeed, many use such a system, some of the exchanges also do not show the transactions entered in detail. But overall we do need to be careful, because considering that Paypal is also just using a system with bitcoin support so it could be that the smallest things have errors it can get. Of course, we can see the proof that has happened to members who have bought bitcoin via paypal whether it is safe or classified as risky.
116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you use bitcoin? on: December 12, 2020, 06:20:16 PM
at the moment there is not way to track bitcoin , means government cant really know if you are holding, trading bitcoin if you dont say anything , so there is lot of people in my country here interested about buying bitcoin against my local currency so simply i sell them my bitcoin from time to time

It is true that until now the government has not been able to trace the existence of bitcoin as an asset of its citizens, so this is the main factor why bitcoin is not easy to legalize in some countries.

However, currently there are regulations that stipulate that everyone is required to do KYC as a sign that the government is trying to track the whereabouts of their assets, so I think it only takes time for bitcoin to make basic rules so that everyone can own it. in different countries.
117  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Analysis of optimistic and pessimistic states of Bitcoin on: December 12, 2020, 05:56:43 PM
If I think bitcoin price next year will break $ 25,000, I'm not sure bitcoin can touch $ 11,000 because that's too far, even if bitcoin corrects it will hit a price of $ 15,000.  we just have to see what will happen next year.  whether 2017 will happen again or vice versa.

We will not know when the bitcoin price reaches the new ATH, everything is still in predictions. However, if you look at the technical conditions itself, $ 14900 becomes a strong support that cannot be broken, I think the initial foothold will be located at that price as a correction limit that could occur at the end of this year.
118  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC vs GOLD on: December 11, 2020, 06:03:02 PM
I think crypto will not affect the gold market, bitcoin and gold are very different, bitcoin has a very big risk but also benefits a lot of money.  whereas in my opinion gold is only jewelry, so whatever the state of crypto will not affect gold.

We will not be able to eliminate gold as a balanced investment, because from our ancient ancestors gold became one of the trade transactions, possibly because of one of these things gold became one of the attractions as an investment.

But times and technology are also changing, the more natural disasters that often occur, the less conventional gold mining is so investors are starting to switch to digital systems, of course this can be a different thing in terms of the risks that occur but all of that is actually an option. respectively because the level of high ratio is also in balance with the benefits.
119  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it worth to buy trading View ? on: December 10, 2020, 07:33:07 PM
Its been said that if you are a professional trader, you should buy the paid version of trading view as free version have some limitation the major one being  you cannot more than three indicators at the same time.
How the question is that is it worth upgrading to the paid version or using free version is sufficient for majority of the traders ?

Everything depends on the needs in my opinion, because the upgraded version in Tradingview also has many facilities that can be used. When we want popularity, of course, upgrading is important, but if you just want analysis, I think free is enough.
120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing 1$ every day in bitcoin over the last five years on: December 10, 2020, 07:27:21 PM
Your words are appreciated.A proverb goes,"The continent is formed by small sands."Even if we think to save 2% percent of pocket money and invest in bitcoin it can be a huge  somedays.A good patience  and wise decision can change the life.

Everything can happen as long as there is the right willingness and commitment, so that it can be achieved properly. Because everything will indeed start small and become big with goals and hopes, it is not impossible that it will make us billionaires.

Even Steve Jobs started his business in the garage and also other successful people.
