So, I signed in this morning all giddy to find out what was happening with Artemine, and I run smack into this mess. With that said, does anyone have any idea what the up side of either of these coins could be considering what has just been exposed. Just trying to stay positive. I have lost time and money on these types of things in the past, but before I invest in anything else I need to revisit the way I research these opportunities because I really missed the ball on this one.
The presumed fact that the Dev throw us a curve ball does not help. Like the rest of you guys, I hope the Dev comes clean. That would be the appropriate thing to do. In other words the Dev needs to man up.
Actually dev hasn't done anything wrong, whole discussion is pure speculation that who owns most of the gens. I have seen this kind of shit-talking too many times but this goes quite much beyond everything what I have seen so far. That's absolutely right, a few people on a thread get upset at the dev with no proof and all of the sudden it's labeled a scam project. There's no proof of anything other than one person has a lot of MNE genesis addresses, how in the fuck does that make this a scam??? Lol, go ahead then, buy when it's still low :-) nice trip to the moon on this one man spaceship :-) I don't need to, I bought the MNE and ARTE that I wanted to. Like a normal person, I assessed the risks and rewards of this penny stock and now I'm waiting to see what happens... Don't start complaining when development lacks and someone dumps ART on you for 63 years :-) I promise you I will not! This investment represents about 3% of my portfolio... |

To Populous World, I genuinely wish for your success, however I really only care deeply about what's in it for me. That is true for every investor. We really only want to know what is the net benefit is of buying, holding, and using your PPT tokens.
If we can save the world along the way, well that is great, but what really counts is making sure that the people who are continuing to invest in your company are well taken care of.

With the price of the ppt tokens under pressure lately and falling towards new lows, it would be very helpful for myself and all the members of the ppt community to have a reason to hold our current ppt and better yet, a reason to buy more. If you would be kind enough to explain in greater detail these few questions, which I feel were not well addressed in the business plan...thanks in advance: 1. How can the PPT token be used on the platform to generate a passive income for the PPT owner? 2. How are the PPT tokens protected from loss once they are loaded into the platform? 3. Will the platform allow the purchase of invoices with fiat currency? If so, then why should we hold PPT? Maybe you are still figuring some of these things out? I invested 180 dollar in this "Artemine" I made an investment to another coin just for fun a week ago. Strangely i made several times my investment. This 180$ are just peanuts... If this is a scam then enjoy my money guys , have a pizza, becouse i did a lot more  If it's a serious project, thanx for the future earning guys In both situations i dont lose nothing So i am pro artemine   This is so dumb, I don't even know where to start. Somehow this seems to be a pattern with the people who are still supporting this shit fest. You realise people calling this a 'shitfest' because 1 guy may have found evidence that there are people who hold more than 1 genesis address. There's also a pattern of people whining and complaining until the devs come out with a new announcement. The thing is, the devs have delivered everything they said they were gonna deliver. If you don't like the way it's being run, please, give feedback, try to help out. But no, no, no, all you guys do is talk shit and don't contribute anything other than complaints, cause that'll fix everything. I've heard this way too often. They have not delivered on everything they said! Remember the big exchange that was only 2 weeks away? Still waiting for it. People just have stopped asking because the dev redirected their attention to the new ICO and Artemine. Moreover, from the pathetic response minereum has posted you can clearly see that the world app development has not even started yet. It is a most convenient excuse to say the tech is not there yet. That should have been known months ago. So, one cornerstone of MNE development, the world app, has basically evaporized. You tell me if there's another ATH in the cards with noting left on the road map. This could very well be a problem at one of the later stages of development. Also, the lottery could very well be in the works as well. That's the thing, you're more pessimistic, I'm more optimistic. Both perceptions change nothing to the current reality, but mine could be motivating to the devs and to other investors. It's just that there is a fine line between motivating and luring someone into a bad investment. The same goes for the line between valid criticism and spreading FUD. I just wanted to set the record straight regarding the trope that the devs always deliver. which for many seems to be the last straw of hope. I get that, and I respect that, but in my opinion both MNE and ART still have a lot going on for them. They're the first of their kind, so the devs might not want to risk coming in second because they try to get everything 100% right. Im not saying they're doing a great job, because the way they run their companies is unprofessional to say the least, but things could be a lot worse and there's still a lot of reason to stay hopeful. Don't forget the total crypto cap is down almost 60 billion compared to a few weeks ago. All companies are bleeding, especially the ones that don't serve a big purpose yet Please be careful guys and read the facts that were presented in the last few pages. I've tried to keep my mouth shut the past few days but I just can't anymore. MiBambino is just being a reasonable dude just like me and giving the developer the benefit of the doubt. I am more suspect of IAMWAGNER who seems to have an insanely invested interest in bringing this project down. However, as I've stated before, if you're investing in a project that appears on not the second or third BUT FOURTH PAGE OF CMC because the project is so new and underdeveloped, that you need to be a big boy/girl and realize that there are A LOT of associated risks with small projects. Definitely don't take out another mortgage on your house to invest in MNE/ARTE but if you want to participate throw some money in and play it out, if you think this is a massive scam and the completely anonymous dev is a piece of shit scammer, definitely do not invest and move on. Edit: I'm trying to say that people are going to use what they NEED. In this case they need invoice factoring. So you can do all the outreach to pump the coin but that doesn't really matter unless the platform works. When the platform works, people will come. And you only need to get the wording/spelling right once on the platform.

I have thousands of PPT and agree with you regarding the need for the platform I was hooked on the project since reading the WP, once this is up and running I can see millions of people using Populous. Here's the thing though: you don't need English in Asia where all the real growth is happening. Don't get me wrong I'm from America, but all our companies are basically failures/failing. Why is it so important to appease the western debt balloon? Populous merely needs to offer a service here that is desperately needed. 1. DYNERIUM is rewarded to addresses that has MNE sitting for 2 weeks. You need to keep MNE in the address. If you move it out, then mining stops. You can move MNE anytime to an address. When a snapshot is taken, DYNERIUM checks for the coinage of 2 weeks, if not, then it will simply disqualify it. You will be eligible in future snapshots when your MNE are about 2 weeks old.
2. As DYNERIUM snapshots at random intervals, it ensures new addresses eligible to receive rewards and removes addresses that moved their MNE out.
3. You should have any non-zero MNE balance to get DYNERIUM.
4. Mining a sha, scrypt coin requires you to throw some hash. The more hash you throw, the more coins you mine. Similarly, you require MNE to mine DYNERIUM, the more MNE you hold, the more DYNERIUM you mine.
5. Artemine ICO burn address is excluded from Dynerium.
6. Dynerium is not intended to increase the price of the MNE. It has a different purpose.
7. The Roadmap will be posted later.
8. Snapshot will be taken on September 30, 2017.

Block reward is 10
You hold 100 MNE
There are a number of eligible addresses with non-zero MNE balance - total MNE - 200000
Reward for each MNE = block reward/ total MNE = 10/200000 = 0.00005
You get, Reward per MNE*number of MNE you hold = 0.00005*100 = 0.005 per block.
B:
Next Snapshot occurs. There are addresses that moved MNE out and new addresses have MNE.
Total number of MNE is recalculated and function A: is executed. The loop continues.

It's still not mining, stop confusing newbies.There are proof of stake coins both with fix rewards (eg. 10 coin per block) or with rewards based on how much someone is staking. You're heavily confusing PoS coins with PoW (mining) coins either out of stupidity or maliciously to confuse newbies. Mining - proof of work - requires actual work submitted from miners, simply holding funds and getting rewards solely based on that is far from mining. That's simply staking. Thank you for the clarification I think PoW and PoS is thrown around so much that the majority of the discourse is misusing it, I don't think the dev means it in a malicious manner, how could he use this maliciously anyways? |

Alright worst case scenario, the devs hold a large portion of the gen addresses and they're unloading on us because both projects will most likely fail. How likely is this? Do we have reason to believe this? I don't think so. Its very well possible the devs own a large potion, and that they're unloading onto us in rder to pay for further development. If that's the case, fine. Or, they're unloading because they don't want people buying ETH in order to contribute to the ICO, which is why they're dumping MNE in order to keep prices low enough so that more people buy MNE, reducing the supply. I'm curious for the devs' response Are you being scammed? All the signs are red and the community still holds on to its desperate belief that some good intentions are driving this project. I would recommend to offload your stake and continue from the sidelines to watch how this develops Oh wow, thank you for the recommendation I'm not sure what I would do without this totally unsolicited trading advice. This project is ranked 350 on CMC, FedoraCoin has a higher cap than this project. It's under devloped and a risky investment but the upside is huge, are we being scammed? I doubt it. How much Artemine has been sold already? How much has the ICO already raised? How long will the ICO run and is there a cap? No info on all this on the front page...
About 60 to 70 million, given the amount of MNE and ETH raised so far. I believe it'll be 90 million by the time the ICO finishes So 90 million over a span of 63 years? We're looking at over a million mined per year... |

Just threw a bitcoin into the pot, this project has a lot of the necessary components to take a shot at the mainstream market and out of all the ICO's it is definitely one of the most interested in reaching the masses. If they can back up this project with good tech then it will surely be a top 50 project in 2018!
I am just as pumped maybe a bit more. I see this as one of the top projects! There are over 10,000 registered investors and the pace picking up exponentially! People are starting to realize the Dev is Richard Ells and what his plan is. Right, the only detail I'm skeptical of is the amount of coins you will actually be able to mine. No one will give a shit about mining on their phone if it's giving them a quarter a day. However, if the value of each coin is rising everyday even a lower mining rate will be lucrative enough to interest millions of users and have a massive following. The amount of coins you're able to mine on your phone will never be larger than what you can mine on your computer. That is given, no matter what; but the fact is, that it enables people to get hooked on the idea of gaining cryptocurrency from running an app, storing their coins and being educated on how to mine on your computer. Then they will see a much larger return when they mine the blockchain, and you got yourself a new member of the cryptocurrency community, educated and willing to learn/invest It's almost too easy! This is why I've always believed/invested in the crypto market, you are literally just asking people to swap energy for money that can accrue value over time, how the hell can you say no to that??? |

Just wanted to say something nice about RIALTO, and I am not in any way associated with them or get any bounty or similar.
Of the several different ICO's I have participated in RIALTO is the only one so far that give me a feeling that there is a really good crew behind it. From the first email I wrote during the ICO with some questions to REDDIT and any other channel they use, like newsletters etc, they have replied to anything I or anybody else asked in a professional way. And they encourage people to ask more questions.
I have a good feeling about this company/project.
I agree, the team is quick to follow up with the community but keeps quiet about development which IMO is a good thing. When they make a partnership or breakthrough on the app, they announce but you can tell this is just the early beginnings and this team is going to push the limits in the coming months. |
