101  Economy / Economics / Re: Is this the correct time to purchase bitcoins and al-crypto? on: October 18, 2018, 11:07:16 PM
As the market status still looks stale without a specific time of when the bullish run will happen or worse still if the market suddenly dips further. The uncertainty as regards the actual time of increase for all through the bullish run makes the investment choice to be with a flaw.
102  Economy / Economics / Re: Whether Getting Married At a Young Age Can Lead To Poverty And Make Poor Economy on: October 17, 2018, 11:56:48 PM
I see in my country many marriages at a young age and don't think about the economy in the future,
I know getting married at a young age is very beautiful,
but if the economy is insufficient, maybe should think again not to get married at a young age,
and I think from that marriage it can give birth to children and increase the population of the earth, and maybe in a few years the earth will be full of humans and surely there will be many other crimes to survive on this earth,

Is there a solution, to overcome this impending disaster

Well, a lot of youths in my country are now scared of getting married because of the present poor economic situation of the country. They still strive to make ends meet till when they think they have enough to sustain them and also for their intended spouse. So, here in my country, youths don't think of marrying early.
103  Economy / Economics / Re: Sick and tired of the cryptocurrency bullshit!!! on: October 16, 2018, 11:33:18 AM
I did get really tired and pissed off some few months ago when the expected bullish run didn't happen as anticipated. It now feels and look like the bullish run isn't going to happen anytime this year again; like alot of persons are now involved in the bitcoin and any chance at of the bullrun means millions of people will automatically become millionaires in dollars and also in their country's respective fiats.
104  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is one of the saviors. on: October 16, 2018, 11:24:19 AM
we certainly hear a lot of people whose their lives change 180% because of Bitcoin

based on https://www.livebitcoinnews.com/venezuelans-turn-to-bitcoin-and-online-gaming-to-survive/
when government policies make them miserable, they find ways to survive.

Do you agree with Bitcoin is one of the saviors and are there any of us who have saved their economic lives since focusing on Bitcoin?
and honestly, I'm one of the people whose economic needs have survived because of Bitcoin  Grin

I do concur with the fact that bitcoin/cryptocurrency has helped in liberating some persons from poverty and states of financial dilemma. I believe a lot of this happened between 2016 - 2017. I could infer from what I experienced though I got in a bit late.
105  Economy / Economics / Re: harmonization of fiat and crypto on: October 16, 2018, 11:11:15 AM
I have read several threads that say "fiat will die and will be replaced with crypto" as you agree? I personally do not agree. because when the real system is already established in value and a new system comes with a fluctuating value, the government will not take that risk. But do you agree if Fiat collaborates with crypto in building a future financial system? without killing one system. share your opinion about this.

I am in support of the harmonization of both the fiat and the cryptocurrencies. The exchange platforms have been a saving bridge in having this merger/relationship. Both parties are equally as important as the other with respect to perspective. I believe there is harmony till date that's why we still have both still existing, especially the cryptocurrency.
106  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Africa be a good place for crypto? on: October 16, 2018, 11:02:21 AM
I believe Africa will be a nice place for cryptocurrency to thrive well as we have a large influx of participants from early this year. I have seen a project targeted towards Africa too; KWHcoin which is planned towards sustainable and renewable energy.
107  Economy / Economics / Re: Do we need blockchain technology? on: October 11, 2018, 11:02:47 PM
Hello everyone.

When I see there are too many ICO and shitcoins on novaexchange. I keep asking myself: do we really need blockchain technology?

In case of Bitcoin. Of course, I agree.
What about ETH? I agree too.

But, have a look at the others on the market. I don't even know why should people use their service. There is no real use in real life.

An ad management system on blockchain? - We already had Google Ads & Facebook Ads.
A social network on blockchain? (steem) - Do we? I don't see anything but a centralized forum hosted on a random hosting using its currency to pay for the writers.

There are too many projects  that we don't really need it on blockchain.

Sometimes, I think there is a black swan (Blockchain is useless in real life) lurking around.

Please enlighten me.

The full use of the blockchain technology, has not fully been explored and seems permission  is being sought for before it can perform the long expected help. The blockchain technology is a tool being used on other failing business area so resuscitate
108  Economy / Economics / Re: Five reasons 2018 could be the best year yet for cryptocurrencies. on: October 11, 2018, 10:34:45 PM
I do agree as regards the increase being reciprocal to functionality and usability of the altcoins. I strongly believe that when this comes to full play, then the resultant price of the respective tokens will also increase.
109  Economy / Economics / Re: Where should we focus this year? on: October 11, 2018, 08:55:31 PM
This is quite funny at the end with the 'I don't know response' to 'what is blockchain' question. Well, I can say this is peculiar with most persons too who are just following blindly on what is happening in the cryptocurrency markets. We have a lot bragging about what the blockchain can do and will do without even knowing how it will operate. All they just know is that the block chain will change everything.
110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 5 Years From Now in Crypto? on: October 09, 2018, 11:17:59 PM
What would be your thoughts and prediction to what will happen in 5 years from now in Crypto?

Do you see higher values?

Do you see less projects?

Do you see a merger of many projects?

Tighter Regulation?

More acceptance?

Society in general?

Well, in 5 years from now in cryptocurrency, I do see a more regulated and standard market than it is now. I see lesser projects and possible collaborative projects in driving home a more solid project. I see the influence of blockchain being imbibed in the banking and other functioning sectors of living.
111  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen if Bitcoin gets official permission from the government...??? on: October 09, 2018, 11:11:29 PM
The bitcoin becomes more powerful after and when it becomes accepted and given permission by the different governments. There are quite a lot of more opportunities that will then be made available  with more adaptation exploration.
112  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin 10 years anniversary, what good news are you expecting come 2019?. on: October 09, 2018, 09:00:29 PM
With the dull moments being experienced in 2018, I don't think an anniversary like the 10th year will be having an expected impact on the bitcoin. The bitcoin has come a long way over the years to be just easily manipulated by an anniversary. However said, I only expect a smooth sail in the price coordinations.
113  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you reccomend family and friends to join the market when it's crashing? on: October 04, 2018, 11:28:16 PM
Do you recommend family and friends to join the market when it's crashing?
We pray for the prices to go up and to more people join the market, but will you recommend someone close to you to join when the prices are dropping like crazy?

If you do, explain why.

At this junction/period when the markets are static and dippend, I don't really have any friend/family to really convince in hodling or come in to come invest because I don't want to be held responsible for anyone's.
114  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why you should stay off from market prediction on: October 04, 2018, 11:20:37 PM
As an investor one thing you shouldn't engage yourself with is Predictions, if you want to be successfully in this Crypto ecosystem, you need to stay off any form of market prediction.

Here are few reasons why you shouldn't engaged with it (market/price prediction)

1. Predictions can be wrong

2. Listening to predictions makes you a speculator

3. Listening to predictions makes you an onlooker

4. Price prediction gives you nothing for today, only false hope

5. Listening to price prediction makes you think in one direction

Finally

Don’t let speculation and assumption make you decide what to do.
[/quote

I am passed the level of following after predictions as it has not really been in my favour most of the times even more so now that the markets have dipped. Meaning the predictors themselves should have prepared well for this dip periods.
115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can you invest in bitcoin without being scammed? on: October 04, 2018, 11:14:15 PM
How can you invest in bitcoin without being scammed? There are people using very fine techniques like selling bitcoin cash in name of bitcoins using confusing websites name. How to be safe from such scams ?

The best methods of investing in the bitcoin is via the standard recommended apps. With these apps, you can easily purchase the bitcoin and have it also stored/kept for you while you await its appreciation over time and getting g to avoid the so much risk altogether.
116  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin really stabilize any country's economy level? on: October 04, 2018, 11:03:30 PM
It us very possible for the bitcoin to help stabilize the economy of a country; especially the devolping countries. Though take example for my country, there is actually money in here but it has been kept within the reach of some set of persons who just move this with themselves. But I believe with the help of bitcoin and it's enabling power, a lot of the less privilege too would have gained more grounds to even help other needy ones.
117  Economy / Economics / Re: Global financial crisis on: October 04, 2018, 10:48:44 PM
I'm expecting a new crisis to arise in the next 4-6 years, i think what's happening in the loan and reposition industry creates a pathological state.
Banks are still feeling too safe for what they're doing, their mistakes will sooner or later bring on a decline.
Also considering austrian cycle theory, i'd say we're in the boom. Soon gold and solid cryptos might be the go-to when it comes to keeping your money safe.

How long do you guys think we have until we face the next crisis?

Somehow, I think this crisis too can be relative; to some areas of the world. I believe I heard somewhere earlier this year when the cryptocurrency markets dipped seriously that the world is already passing g through a global financial crises. So, it's not really a question of Ehen it will come but a question of how do we liberate ourselves form it.
118  Economy / Economics / Re: People are not motivated by money. on: October 04, 2018, 10:42:29 PM
I always hear the argument for capitalism "B bb BUT people won't innovate without the profit motive" WRONG

Humans want to solve problems, create, and innovate, they do not need money to motivate them.  Cavemen were painting art 20,000 years ago without the desire of money.

True scientists like Tesla, he didn't care about money it was about the pursuit of science.

Capitalism does not cause innovation, most new technology is found by government programs like nasa (internet, smartphones, etc)

I disagree with you on this as it is not so in the country/area where I come from; the developing countries. Their main aim is to get profit and amassing of wealth for their generations yet unborn. Meeting a need can be part of the aims and objectives but soon, it is being changed and selfishness sets in and all they know and want is profit over meeting quality And quantitative needs.
119  Economy / Economics / Re: You cannot eat your cake and have it on: October 04, 2018, 10:37:05 PM
There is a popular saying that invest only what you can afford to loose. Some people are making the mistake of investing all their life savings into crypto and other ventures. Some people even went as far as borrowing money or even using their properties as collaterals to borrow money so as to invest into crypto. This is a wrong idea and it might cost you a lot.
Every investment has its risks. So consider the the risk involved by taking each step at a time and do not jump in once.

I will not want to put all my investment ever again in these cryptocurrency investments talkless of even selling properties to buy some. Though I got hooked up with some Coy that outsmarted us for a while and this has been a huge lesson and a loss we are still recuperating from. Better to get involved with bounties and earn something for yourself than entering into the investments with borrowed money.
120  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin ETF more likely to be approved but why price is going down? on: October 04, 2018, 10:29:19 PM
Now we have 2 SEC judges in favor or BTC ETF and 1 against, the market should have to give some signs of growth by now, we have a likely ETF approved and Bakkt soon, why does the price is going down? am I missing something?

I just hope the market will be really boostable by the input of the ETF. I aint really seeing the market going down but its somewhat static; going back and forth. If the market dips really further than where it is at the moment then I see a plot in the introduction of the ETF at this period then see no point having the ETF bringing the markets to a level where it is now.
