101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how are these alt whales cashing out? on: March 01, 2018, 03:25:04 PM
I stopped using Poloniex as the limit is close to 1 BTC in USD and if prices were to double again, the limit becomes 0.5 BTC and so on. Bittrex use 1 BTC which whilst smaller, is more fluid. I'm going to guess that if an exchange goes pop, it will be Poloniex, as the limit is getting smaller and smaller.

This will be really pain in the ass for whales. They have to cash out small amount every single day to reach certain amount. But it is a good move by the exchange to prevent money laundering. Because this anonimity makes it very easy to money launder your dirty money
102  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin cannot replace currency in the world because price is not stable on: March 01, 2018, 05:11:20 AM
Volatility is just one of the reasons why bitcoin can't replace the fiat.Bitcoin is used for people doing business in bitcoin, by investing their money and making a profit.

Exactly. But as we know of, almost all people are intto bitcoin for investment purposes not for transaction. Bitcoin is still used as payment mainly for ICO  because bitcoin is the most accepted currency in all ICO
103  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should people invest in bitcoin? on: March 01, 2018, 05:05:24 AM
People invest in bitcoin because of its amazing value.the huge profit you receive when you invest.

Only if you know what you are doing, if not you have to be ready to lose your money Grin
Not only in bitcoin btw, all othet things need sufficient knowledge in order to make the most of it
104  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in College??? on: February 27, 2018, 03:20:19 PM
It will be better if they have a subject bitcoin in college
I think it more focusing on how bitcoin works and currency moving in this field. It would be better if have a subject because people will have a chance to learn about this bitcoin.
Subject "Bitcoin"? Really ? What will they teach about ? How to hold Bitcoin or how to buy/sell Bitcoin ?

Of course not, crypto is not only about trading and investing. It is about blockchain technology itself. You see many ICOs are popping using current technology and then integrate it with blockchain.

Blockchain technology can be taught in college, perhaps not as a major but an optional optional course
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what's your reason joining here in crypto? on: February 27, 2018, 03:16:59 PM
the reason i joined here in forum is to learn more about cryptocurrencies and gets some idea how to earn and gets some idea how to manage in trading and strategy and later on for joining bounty campaign to earn some money.

Same as me I guess. I first came here to learn more about crypto, to make extra money. I came here as a guess for a while and leave to learn in another place. But after coming back here and read some more I found out joining bounty campaign will make extra money as well aside from trading I was doing that time Grin
106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to find lost bitcoins? on: February 27, 2018, 10:14:51 AM
Millions of bitcoins are considered lost. Who will find them?

The question is really funny, but curious. I wish we could really have a chance to find these lost Bitcoins. Unfortunately, it is absolutely impossible. No one and nothing will return BTC that was lost once.

If I am the lucky one to know how to recover lost bitcoins, I will not consider to return them or whatsoever LOL
I think there are thousands of lost bitcoins, not as many as millions.
107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you store your bitcoins? on: February 26, 2018, 04:31:33 PM
I hold them in my phone Nokia 3210, this is the safest way to store your bitcoins. It is impossible to break, hack , steal or lose Nokia. ----> Perfect phone!

LOL
You have a great idea! Even when blockchain is no longer around, I pretty believe your phone will survive 100 more years Grin
Keep your private key inside your nokia and bury it for a while as a time capsule
108  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Worried about btc future on: February 26, 2018, 03:48:25 AM
Nothing to worry about bitcoin because even we encounter some risk here in bitcoin, it is just a part of our life. We experienced some issues or problem in bitcoin but it doesn't mean that we can't solve it. We face different challenges in bitcoin because it is natural, the day will not end until we can't resolve a specific problem. Bitcoin is the decentralize and most powerful crypto currency in all so there's nothing to worry. Some of us are scared because bitcoin price goes down but it doesn't mean that it will not rise again. Don't stop believing in bitcoin because this is our future.

Because bitcoin will start a new era, the centralized age is over. Bitcoin and crypto will take control of them all!
Just keep believeing in bitcoin, because bitcoin always have faced hundreds of murder attempts and still survive
109  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Worried about btc future on: February 26, 2018, 03:39:17 AM
Is it still good to invest in bitcoin or other coin. as far as my knowledge, market not good at the moment. so guys what do you think about btc?

What do you mean not good? Because the price drops?
You need to learn this in crypto, buy the dip not the green. That is how you earn money in crypto not otherwise. I personally buy the red, I am not chasing the gree. I prefer not earning profit than losing money. But sometimes taking risk is needed Grin
110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My advice to Bitcoin newbies: relax on: February 25, 2018, 05:54:20 AM
Bitcoin is not dead. That is the craziest thing I heard. When the price goes down, it is only natural. Yes, you lose some of your investment but don't panic immediately. Take a deep breath and relax. Those people who panics and sell urgently are losers. Their losses are losses. They don't give a chance to it.

Very much. Bitcoin will not be dead anytime soon.
This panic sell kind of things only happen to beginners because they are still trading with their emotion rather than logic.
A little price swing makes them scream and cry at the same time. Jist relax, it will grow.
111  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung is going to support bitcoin on: February 25, 2018, 05:47:02 AM
my own warm welcome about the presence of Samsung making mining hardware. Thus people will more easily again in mine the Bitcoin via smartphone. Hopefully, this makes the Bitcoin's getting well known a lot of people and give positive impact.

I heard that samsung is in the making of miner, I mean real miner not mobile miner of course. A good step from tackling antminer's current market monopoly. With this kind of competitition, customers will have more choices and relatively cheaper price Grin
112  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in 2018 on: February 23, 2018, 04:55:02 PM
According to my amateur researchs & also my personal view, bitcoin journey will continue at 15.000-35.0000$ at the end of the year/2019.

After all there is a non-linear logarithmic chart's variables within the specific dates:

2018 : 21.729$
2019 : 41.097$
2020 : 74689$
2021 : 127.623$
2022 : 209.599$
2023 : 332.632$

The chart: https://i.hizliresim.com/kOXdnA.jpg

Thank for the insight Smiley
I dont know how high and how low bitcoin can go. But I still believe in it. As long as there are still communities as huge as we are now, then there is nothing to be worry about.

It will survive like any other year before this Wink
113  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will you sell your Bitcoin at $100,000 or what? on: February 23, 2018, 03:50:28 PM
Everyone has their price point.    That's one reason why we keep seeing these dips.      $10,000-$11,000 is for early adopters what $100,000 is for late adopters.

Very true. It will be different for everyone in defining their price point. Some want some 1-2x profit while other expect more and keep on hodling. I am pretty sure there are still many early adopters bought bitcoin for less than $100 and still hodling.

I personally will sell some and swing trade sometimes
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is useless so why high price? on: February 22, 2018, 07:51:55 AM
Bitcoin is very slow transaction and fee is rediculus then why people bother buying it or considering it. I have £130 of bitcoin and I want to move it and it is asking for £28 network fee. Why should people bother having it. I can't wait to get rid of it when the fee is low.

It is the reason why you see cryptocurrency as you do now dude. Give respect to where its due.

Bitcoin is the only coin which has been tested globally and still proven until now. There were many kill attempt but as you can see, Bitcoin still reign as a king. Yes it is old, yes it is slow, yes it has outrageous fees, just spend more time in crypto and you will understand why Grin
115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: would you live in a country that use bitcoin as official currency? on: February 22, 2018, 07:39:18 AM
would you live in a country that use bitcoin as official currency?
assume that you're living there and get paid also in bitcoin. do you think it's possible to live in a country when one day the currency go up or down in 20%?

Hmm let me think...
No, thank you. Adopting cryptocurrency alone is not a guarantee for you to have a proper life in a specific country.

And having a volatile national currency really is not a good way to do it. Bitcoin will be to volatile by then. But if there is an altcoin backed by real asset that might be possible. Please not tether, claimed to be backed by real USD but turns to be a big bullshit
116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'll never stop buying Bitcoin on: February 22, 2018, 07:20:42 AM
As much as I admire Bitcoin fans, I mean, true fans, try to diversify your portofolio in order to minimize risks. Although BTC is a very solid project and the King of Crypto world, there is still 0.0001% chance it's risky.

What? Only 0.0001%? But I heard many beginners lose their investment in bitcoin Grin

Everybody should know before investing in any kind of cryptocurrency even bitcoin how volatile it is. It is surely give you nice profit, but it also will lose you almost your entire initial investment. You need to learn before investing. Invest your time before invest your money
117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mining on Mobile Phone on: February 21, 2018, 06:54:13 AM
Of course, this sounds very tempting, but it seems to me that this is unlikely. Which phone has enough power for this?

Real mining from phone will never be real. You cant even mine with your CPU, let alone mobile CPU.

But I like the idea of electroneum mobile mining. It is only a simulation. And the coins distributed will be the other form of airdrop to reach global adoption
118  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what happens to Bitcoin if internet goes down? on: February 21, 2018, 06:47:17 AM
If that will happen, it's a sad story. It's the end of bitcoin
Bitcoin will breakdown. All transactions, trading and even mining any crypto is done by the help of the internet. No internet, no bitcoin. No bitcoin, no profit chance. That's it, the end.

Not only the end of bitcoin, it will be a lot worse. The end of technology!
You cannot use your cellphone you will be going back to csble phone. You cannot use your computer for browsing, back to textbook, go to library Grin
119  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crime funded by bitcoin on: February 21, 2018, 06:41:12 AM
Normally many people thought the same in the beginning. However the true corruption comes from the big fishes , the goverments. The fact is FIAT money is used much more to fund criminality and for money laundering compared with bitcoin. Although in dark markets usually transactions happen in bitcoin it cannot be compared with the amount of FIAT money used to fund criminality.

Exactly! Even fiat is widely used in money laundering not only bitcoin. Dont blame the tool, blame the abuser! Drugs are useful in the hand of a doctor.
120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crime funded by bitcoin on: February 20, 2018, 08:30:59 AM
Yes, there are a number of criminals who use bitcoin, which is believed to lead to a rise in crime, so many countries ban it. But I don't think so. Bitcoin has little to do with crime.

Do you blame doctor for using drugs in performing surgery for their patients? Do you blame knife which being used by mother to cook?

Do not blame the object, blame the subject. With bad intention, you can use good stuff for crime
