101  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think digital currency will ever replace paper money? on: January 22, 2018, 01:27:51 AM
One day, it will be real yes.

World will have only one currency and it will be digital money.
well base on the bible when God's second coming there will be no more money, credits/debit cards, and maybe even digital currencies.. all through chips that can install in our wrisk and forehead... so its a yes it is really possible to replace paper money to bitcoin and other digital currencies in the near of future..there is no such possible when it comes to innovation and technology.( except the time machine 🤣🤣) ..and there is no permanent in this world except changes.. and we all know being human..we all always trying the new trends even if its for good or bad we still trying it why? because we all have freedom to do so no one can limit you ... but sometimes we need to think first if its for our good or just a temporary satisfaction...
102  Other / Off-topic / Re: What age to teach kids about crypto? on: January 21, 2018, 11:11:57 PM
Hi everyone,

When is a good age to teach kids about crypto?  Any suggestions on how to go about it?  thanks Smiley
I think as early as they understand how to use money ...(like 8 years old and up ) so they can accept it right away and they can identify and determine  which one is crypto and which one is cash..but ofcourse you need to teach them also how to use every currencies wisely and carefully and... when they reach the age that you can teach them how to earn their own bitcoin teach them as early as they can understand so that at early age they can be responssible for their own future when it comes to financial aspects..
103  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin really secure? on: January 21, 2018, 07:11:33 PM
Yes bitcoin is really secure. no one can steal bitcoin, except for our own carelessness. Smiley
The government can not be that easy to ban bitcoin transactions, because bitcoin is the future.

I do not think it is 100% secured ...unlike banking if you loose your card with money on it (debit card) or even bankbook..you have the option to call the bank cancel the card or block the passbool or anything related to the one you lost ....but in bitcoin or other digital currencies  in just only one wrong click..you migth lose all your money in your wallet and you will never get it back again..so how will others says that bitcoin is secure..but I am not discouraging people to do bitcoin there is just always negative side of every story and positive side as well..just be carefull and be mindful that you need to secure all your password key code.etc of your coin wallet so you can avoid such lost...
104  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin prices dropped, should you buy? on: January 21, 2018, 02:39:09 AM
Wait till $2,000
Investors who believe in the long-term appreciation of the value of bitcoin, use price drops to buy more bitcoin. While it is extremely difficult to “time the market”, i.e. buy just after a price drop and just before a price rally, steep price drops allow bitcoin investors to add to their holdings at better price levels than if they were to simply keep buying during a bull market.....If you are one of the people that believe that bitcoin will take its place as an internationally recognised global currency and will, therefore, continue to appreciate in value over time, then you should consider any drop in a price as a good opportunity to buy bitcoin.

105  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Breaking: Bitcoin trading banned in India on: January 20, 2018, 09:45:12 PM
Just click that sweet ignore button under OP's name.
Confusion reigns in India’s cryptocurrency ecosystem.
The Narendra Modi government and India’s central bank have made it amply clear they aren’t comfortable with virtual currencies. The recent spike in bitcoin’s value, which attracted hordes of investors, has only made the government more vociferous in its criticism.
However, these announcements don’t make these virtual currencies, or trading in them, against the law....So, their status is in a curious limbo—they’re neither legal nor illegal in India...
On Nov. 30, 2017, when investor frenzy was at a high with rising bitcoin prices, finance minister Arun Jaitley said the country doesn’t recognise cryptocurrencies as legal tender....Almost a month later, the government cautioned people against investing in them, warning that they are similar to fraudulent investment schemes and have no legal status yet. “There is a real and heightened risk of  investment bubble (in virtual currencies) of the type seen in ponzi schemes which can result in  sudden and prolonged crash exposing investors, especially retail consumers, losing their hard-earned money,” the finance ministry said in a notification on Dec. 29, 2017. “Consumers need to be alert and extremely cautious as to avoid getting trapped in such ponzi schemes.”
106  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Does Bitcoin work for online shopping? on: January 20, 2018, 09:12:41 PM
Bitcoin does work for online shopping yes. Expedia accepts BTC, Overstock, and there is even this site called Purse.io that allows you to buy things on Amazon at a discounted price with BTC.
Two of the country’s biggest names in e-commerce, Overstock.com and TigerDirect.com, earned themselves some press (and perhaps goodwill from the tech crowd) with their recent decisions to start accepting Bitcoin as payment.....Now, though, users of the controversial peer-to-peer digital system can spend their cryptocurrency in brick and mortar stores including Home Depot, CVS, Kmart and Sears as well as online at web retail granddaddy Amazon.com.“Bitcoin users don’t have as many places to spend as they might like, and many of them have made quite a bit of money in the past year,” he said, adding that the demographic likely to embrace peer-to-peer payment systems probably has a fair amount of disposable income to begin with....
107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.? on: January 20, 2018, 01:53:10 AM
Very bad idea with a "civil war" ongoing.

I think is a very good idea and I am sure that it will come true in the near future. there is already quite a large number of all kinds of films that were shot about bitcoin. But I really hope that soon one of the well-known TV channels will shoot a popular show in which it will tell not only about bitcoin but also about other crypto-currencies. It would be very interesting to see a show in which people would share their opinion on bitcoin and stage-by-stage tell the whole process from the history of the creation to the ways of storing and extracting coins. I believe this show would increase the level of confidence in bitcoin among the population.
108  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin survive? on: January 20, 2018, 01:31:24 AM

I think because the bitcoin course has not reacted to it at all, it means that serious players do not expect an end from bitсoin. It seems that everything will gradually also be positive.

In 2018 you can expect to see an escalating competition among providers of these wallet services to earn users’ trust. It won’t be easy, since the inflation in Bitcoin’s price has driven a frenzy of participation that strains these companies’ capacities. But if the Bitcoin world doesn’t solve this problem, it will sour the entire industry’s prospects, as it crops up for each new coin or token that catches fire.
Each of these three challenges that cryptocurrencies face comes down to a question of trust. Ironically, the libertarian dreamers who conceived of Bitcoin and its brethren imagined a world of “trustlessness,” in which you didn’t have to assess the reputation of the counterparty in any transaction, or any middleman institution, because the whole process was guaranteed by the blockchain’s irrefutable, crypto-secured record. But nothing that’s happening in the world of ICOs and Bitcoin today has moved us any closer to such a trustless state. People are still making gut-driven bets based on faith: Is my wallet company the most reliable? Which token is most likely to last and appreciate? Which developers are moving in the smartest direction?
109  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Too late to get involved into Bitcoin? on: January 20, 2018, 12:58:42 AM
I think it's still not too late, or now is the right time to look for profit in bitcoin because bitcoin will be hardfork segwit2x on 16th of november. because the one having bitcoin will directly have bitcoin2x

It is not too ...and I actually believe it will never be too late ( unless bitcoin will stop ..and I believe that is impossible) ...even you join next month next year..as long as you are fully heartedly dedicate already and you mind sets to be serious here that is the most important..we all know the sayings that find job or hooby that makes you happy and not boring..stuff that motivates you and intertain you and stimulate your mind...in that you will never be gets bored in something that you started ...whenever you want to join is always perfect time..there is no such too late for people who wants to be more firm to themselves..

111  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will cryptos be so volatile forever? on: January 19, 2018, 10:37:26 PM
When will we reach the state of more of less stable cryptocurrencies or it is in their nature and will never end?
That could be very hard to predict, but with the constantly increasing exposure, popularity, and acceptance of it, I would imagine that it will largely be behind us in five years, maybe even less. As it gains increased market share, it will take larger and larger volumes of market movement to see volatility on the scales that we currently do...A number of factors seem to be behind the tremendous growth that Bitcoin has seen over the last year. Without going into too much detail, I think most of those driving factors exist for good reason..
112  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin is making this world a better place? on: January 19, 2018, 10:07:43 PM
Bitcoin is world wide currency.bitcoin helps the people lives,it is help for people who waiting at the bank for transactions.we can make online transactions very fast.bitcoin replace the papercurrency to digital world.

World is actually a better place even before bitcoin..its just bitcoin gives more meaning in the word "innovation"...since we are living in so-called millennial era..  when all the things that you need to do and all the trasaction that needs to be done is always all about internet and computer ,digital , gadgets ..etc. (even finding your husband/wife is intrusted in social media apps and internet now..) so why bitcoin gives more meaning in innovation..because we have the sayings that money makes the world round yes its true..(and the saddest truth money is treated by people a god than the real God above...sad but true)  and by innovating or inveting a digital currency is one (1) of the most success of internet....is it safer than cash and more convenient than cards..and  you can obtain it by just joining in the campaign and earn bitcoin just like you were having a part time job ...or by buying some bitcoin and when the price gets high you can trade it..that what we call instant money 😊😊 in a VERY GOOD GOOD WAY..
113  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Doctors and clinics accepting cryptocurrency on: January 19, 2018, 07:24:30 PM
Any other merchants or services accepting BTC? I need to know where I can spend bitcoin and how. Thanke you!

Bitcoin is gradually taking roots in Africa, although painfully slow. Nevertheless, there is refreshing news on a daily basis that makes the drive to push Bitcoin penetration in the so-called “hopeless continent” promising....From brave women promoting adoption to startups using Bitcoin and the Blockchain to provide financial inclusion and prevent piracy, the number is endless. It is a great inspiration to the ecosystem and Africa stands to gain a lot from the spread of the crypto revolution.
Meanwhile, in the Southern African city of Gaborone in Botswana, a private clinic known as Sharada Clinic receives Bitcoin as a form of payment for treatment. Run by Dr. Donald Ariisa, it is the only health facility in the whole country that accepts bitcoin..
114  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the bitcoin price recover? on: January 18, 2018, 11:32:08 PM
Will take a couple of week atleast, but it eventually will imho.
A lot of people will buy the dip and it'll recover!!

It seems like the Bitcoin core developers simply want to expand about SegWit with lightning network while the miners and wallets want to fully deploy SegWit2x which includes the 2MB block size increase...Bitcoin Cash forked because many thought this would happen so they decided to split off. They are now trying to get the the “B2x” supporters to come to BCH’s side....If “B2x” happens, I suspect that BCH will significantly rise in value and might overtake BTC if miners no longer support it. Its definitely getting complicated. BTC might take a huge dive.
115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in the classroom, yes or no and why? on: January 17, 2018, 09:55:23 PM
This is for a personal writing project I'm working on. I imagine that Bitcoin would be good for things like teaching things like math with decimals ("How many Satoshis do you need to get a tenth of a Bitcoin?", stuff like that), budgeting (Spend it on whatever you want, but when it's gone, it's gone), or even a little bit of IT / programming stuff like how cryptography works. What do you guys think of this?
the goal in class is to teach something. if it is math, then you should teach math. if i count with apples or satoshis is not important, but the focus should be on learning math not on learning bitcoin.

As a education graduate..( just graduate did not make it as a career ) I can say we can consider it as a digital class room  Why ?? because when you go to bitcoin discussion  you can find  a lot of instructional materials  that you can use to learn for studying the bitcoin.. you can find a teacher  through others post because of their personal thought about bitcoin..you can have knowledge for your future financial security for your kids ...and as a digital teacher you can earn your salary through it but in most different way because no one's gonna deduct any tax  debt from your money 😊😊😊
116  Economy / Economics / Re: Spending Bitcoins on: January 17, 2018, 08:43:48 PM
There are people who spend bitcoins at stores or at gambling sites but I never do that. I only use Bitcoin to save my money and to make some extra money at the same time.

I do not know if the country I am on right now accepting bitcoin to buy things  but if so...I am not spending my money to things that is not important even if its for my basic needs...because I do not need too  I have actual  job to sustain my daily basis and needs All I am doing to my bitcoins is to make extra income to support my family and to save more money for my much more important exepenses in the near of future..( it might be for my future children or for my dream house, car or even dream actual business..) well as I have always said..I consider bitcoining as my part time job..
117  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin a good way to invest your money ? on: January 17, 2018, 07:48:49 PM
Savings in banks Deposits in banks Property investments, such as buying property (land and buildings) are then leased or resold after some time later. Gold investment, such as buying gold and then stored for the long term. May be useful in the long run. and produce a decent and satisfactory. or farming to buy sawan and gardening and planting fruits and vegetables is a very good investment. Although a little vulnerable to failure but it could not hurt to try.
I think, yes it is a good way for investments. Bitcoin has already proven itself after all this years and many have witnessed the effectiveness of bitcoin when it comes to investments. In my own experience, I can conclude that it really is, aside from it's effectiveness, I've also witnessed the sudden growth of its price as time passes by because I think there are already a lot of people who have became interested with bitcoin because of what it can do.

Yes I think bitcoin is one good way to invest your money...One good step to a better future....just like I said with  my previous post.. bitcoin is one way to invest money or start your own business because you do not need much money to invest here ..you just have to put what you can and then join in every open campaign , post level up, exert effort and time ...and you will going to have enough money to make your own actual business or maybe pursue more in bitcoin like be a manager here something like that..there is so many good reason to start here just believe in every testimony you heared and put an action for every dreams you have..
118  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the most common uses of Bitcoin? on: January 17, 2018, 06:52:56 PM
You can earn money by speculations)

You can use Bitcoin as a currency; purchase goods, transact with anyone for anything, basically the same way you use fiat currencies today..  Bitcoin is also used as a investment vehicle, as many speculators believe bitcoin will continue to grow in value thus making it a good albeit risky investment.  ..Bitcoin is also being used to create digital assets on the blockchain. This is done through some third-party open source software such as counterparty and colored coins, to name a few.

119  Economy / Economics / Re: why bitcoin is so much special than others currency ? on: January 17, 2018, 01:00:09 AM
This is so really hard to say special cause its difficult to explain specialty in short word
Some of them  are given below:

It’s a type of currency which know as peer to peer currency and this permit to send and receive money without help of broker or third party involvement
Every bitcoin holder can review their account information after sending money or receiving money from their account.
After all kind of transection bitcoin recorded sufficient proof of every client and account holder through different facilities.
Buying and selling process is so much easier than other currency
I think above mention quotation is sufficient for proving that how much special the bitcoin is.

I think the best reason here is because bitcoin is the first every crypto currency in the world. A lot of other people tried to make their own crypto currency or digital currency but Satoshi Nakamoto was the first one to be successful with the technology of Blockchain and was adapted by many other crypto currency today. We can say it is special because without bitcoin, there will be no crypto currency.

Well there is no much special about bitcoin right now ..but still there are characteristic that needs to be recognize..bitcoin can help us atleast have job ...nowadays it is really hard to find job that  fits your educational background or even did not fit to your experience or skills..well bitcoin can help you with that because joining and doing bitcoin is considered as a part time job for me whp have full time actual job.. next is you can buy stuff and basic needs througj bitcoin..with out using any cash debit or credit.. next  is you can invest in bitcoin with just small amount of money with none of any requirements that will be needing when you start your own investment....and most of it for me you can help you family financially through bitcoin..because you do not need  remittance office bank who will ask you to pay transaction fee.etc..  to send money to your family   you just send it for free ..😊😊
120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin is Different From Other Currencies? on: January 17, 2018, 12:35:16 AM
My favorite aspect of crypto is that it's universal. I once went to Czech Republic and got gouged when I exchanged my euro for koruna at the border. I could have avoided it had I known more about the exchange rate but I didn't and I'm far from the only one affected. So being able to spend the same currency anywhere in the world would be amazing.

You can use Bitcoin to buy things electronically. So in this particular way the Bitcoin is like conventional currency like euro, dollar etc. which can also be used to purchase things electronically. The most important characteristic of Bitcoin and what specifically differentiates it from conventional money is that it is decentralized ..no one particular institution has complete control over bitcoin network. Many people like this feature because they like the fact that no large bank can control their money.
