I hate to be that guy but I see group buys for block erupters at .18 btc. Any reason they are able to go so low yet btcguild cannot? I saw the drop to .35 but that is basically double of what we could get elsewhere.

Just to keep people updated apparently Yifu is going to be offering a full refund. I'm sure Sensei has a lot invested in parts as well as all of the other people who were going to build the boards. Hopefully we can put together something to donate to them and help recoup their losses.

Although I am sure some boards will still be built but a lot of people are going to take the refund if they want to see their money again.

Sweet thanks for the updates and good luck in pulling a product together.

Hey thanks for the update xcrowd!

I would definitely like to keep my spot in the order queue because I am in the first ten orders. Does this news mean we will have an extension on the 7 days. I understand you say you might not do thee escrow because dealing with us all would be a burden. Would it be possible to keep our spot in line until the products are ready to ship and ready to order?

So with the new block erupter's out by asicminer do you have any more information on them? Do you plan to sell them and if so how much? Freidcat mentioned something about ROI but that would imply a very low price point.

@above
Well they have effectively stopped communicating with us and they have taken down the forum on their website. Valid questions have come up and we have seen no response even though they have been online and probably seen them.

and some escrow fee? Smiley

This is a scam until:

Proof of contracts are posted,
Proof of team are posted
Proof of chip are posted, (die shots, layout etc)

Until then I see no reason why anyone with a brain is putting their money into xcrowd. Then again there are a lot of people on this forums without brains.

I guess you should change 'no brains' with 'risktakers'. I am sure early Bitcoin adopters were called 'brainless' by many people.

But yes, some proof would ofcourse be good.

Yep proof would be good but it is all escrow so it's not like we really are risking anything but liquidity of our coins.

Well my order is only $215 so .5-1% fee isn't really anything. Although on larger orders it would become somewhat influential.

I think we might need some confirmation from xcrowd on the response above because it seems very similar not only in content but grammar to attempts by eve and his sockpuppets to spread FUD about xcrowd. I find it very unlikely that arorts even contacted them.

Is there a rule against using multiple accounts to try to spread an opinion of a business? I would like to see if it is possible for an admin to check if the ip addresses are the same.

Just checked out the new coupons and even at the coupon price of .4 I don't see it being very viable to purchase another. I would at a price that had a chance of returning at least most of the investment but I don't see that happening until at least .30. Thanks for the coupon program though.

On the topic of coupons, is the coupon program that you were working on yourself ready yet? Or are more details available?
112  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: xcrowd list of orders on: August 21, 2013, 05:03:45 AM
Nobody is giving them money...hell they haven't even sent escrow instructions. Do you not get the idea of escrow?
113  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] xCrowd*US/UK*TH/s+ Units on: August 21, 2013, 04:53:55 AM
Yep basically it is. None of my money will be in anyone's hands besides John K. Worst case scenario is I lose .5-1% of my deposit to an escrow fee. How is this not better than most of the other big name asic companies surfacing?
114  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] xCrowd*US/UK*TH/s+ Units on: August 21, 2013, 04:42:30 AM
Well I mean we do know who they are. Look back a few pages there is plenty of doxxing going on. If you don't want to rely on hosting then just use escrow and have the product delivered? Doesn't seem very complicated.

Something wonky happened to the prices I think.

Quite similar posts

I was thinking the same exact thing. Very similar grammar and trolling.

I love how he throws around accusations of anyone supporting an asic company as being a shill and then has shill accounts. What a hypocrite.

Meg please do some research before posting useless comments. At this point I feel like you are a troll.

Xcrowd has all units priced in usd and was simply showing me an example.

Cool can't wait to see the details on the coupon program.
