101  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does Technical Analysis Really Work? on: February 29, 2024, 03:36:59 PM
That's why trading is not likely to be done by everyone. There is very less chance for someone to get success in trading because it requires a lot of patience and money to be expert in this field. The big players are already controlling the market somehow and we have to invest according to their interest but who knows?

It's not possible to read someone's mind. Yes we can predict their interest and where they'll invest but it's not more than just a prediction.Technical research is somehow related to psychological research because they also want to have profits on their investments so they'll probably choose the better options. The only solution to this is invest in safer coins like BTC,ETH e.t.c and then hodl

I think in some other way technical analysis is still helpful to traders who do trading activity every day. Because this is what I do when I do day trade sometimes when I'm not too busy with what I'm doing.

But I also don't deny that in all cases my analysis is correct, actually most of the time it's even wrong, that's why I always train myself in this matter to be honest. Because in the first place I thought its easy to do it but I was wrong about it honestly speaking.
102  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop loss ? on: February 29, 2024, 03:26:42 PM
how do you use a stoploss

Stop loss, where? What are you referring to? because there is something wrong with your question. Why? What do you think about the forum community here? Are there fortune tellers who can read your mind? I'm just asking you that.

Because here in the crypto space, stop loss only refers to traders who use futures trading, margin or leverage, derivatives, and perpetual trading. And if that is not done, your funds will quickly disappear from the trading exchange.
103  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betnomi | Project status & Refund Plan! on: February 28, 2024, 01:20:15 PM
Well, no response since December 2023, is that a good receipt for you?
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5474377.msg63322540#msg63322540

Just saying, "Well, no response since December 2023, is that a good receipt for you?" means nothing. What is the problem? Who is affected? What is their claim? Did they send a refund request and not receive it? What exactly is your point?

If that is your reasoning, then please explain why the biggest one is not on this list? Also, explain why we have paid other people who have multiple times the balance of the users, sent to the risk management team for review?

Sometimes, it is okay to think first before throwing around accusations.

So that means, Op, have all your clients who were affected or had issues resolved their problems at your casino? And if there is anything left that has not been resolved, they should first send a request to you so that their refund issue can be processed. Is that right?

I just asked OP, why would they request that you have a record on your platform that they still have funds left on your platform in Betnomi? I'm just curious; that's why I asked this. Thank you if you answer, and if not, that's fine too.
104  Economy / Gambling / Re: Any experiences with mrSloty.com ? on: February 28, 2024, 01:11:10 PM
-snip-

You probably didn't read that in their TOS, right? or you didn't find out how their system works when you withdraw from their platform; you just have to create an account and then make a deposit. This is because it is difficult when we do not know how to choose those who have a good reputation in this field of crypto gambling business.

This topic is created last 2022 and completely outdated. Some jerk just bump this to promote casino that has similarities on this casino. This withdrawal duration usually doesn’t included in the ToS because there’s no casino will offer this kind of feature because competitors has instant withdrawal.

Quote
           -     14–20-day period of withdrawal before it confirms transfer to the wallet destination? This is the first time I have read such a scenario of a casino when it comes to the withdrawal transaction. Did you read their withdrawal terms before entering or creating an account at that casino?

I have similar experience to this but only 2days to 4days withdrawal time. I’m not gonna mention the casino name but they still have this feature for manual withdrawal process. They are active here in the forum.

Yes, you're right in what you said. The bumping of this thread topic was done in 2022, and now it seems like it's just being revived where the casino mentioned by OP is simply being promoted. The fact that my withdrawal from the casino was delayed by just 1 day is really annoying; the other 14 days are really annoying.

A cut-off of the salary of a regular employee here in our country. Did the OP find out, or did he ask the casino's support why the process of their terms of withdrawal is taking so long?
105  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What traders must know on: February 24, 2024, 08:39:13 PM
there are skills traders needs to acquire in other to be successful in the crypto market, and I will be talking about them, which are;

. patience: in trading patience is on of the skill required for you to be successful.

.over leaverage: in as much as leaverage is very enticing but try as much as possible not to over leaverage, so that you wouldn't got liquidated easily.

. learn how to control your emotions: you must learn how to control your emotions like fear and greed.

. learn fundamental & technical analysis: you have to learn fundamental and technical analysis so as to knowing how to navigate your way in the market.

. wait for the right set up: don't just trade because you want to, trade only when you see the right set up.

. Be discipline: while trading discipline is one thing you need to have so as to be successful in the market.

. stick to a trading strategy and trust your analysis: try as much as possible to stick to your trading strategy and trust your analysis.

The question is, do you really want to be a crypto trader or not? Second, you must know what kind of trader you are. Are you a short-term or long-term trader? Third, always start with the basics. Because everyone who became an expert started with the basics.

You actually have a lot to consider when starting here in the field of crypto trading. You must expect that it is not an easy lesson; you must have perseverance, determination, dedication, and above all, passion, and when you have all of the above, it is not unlikely that you will eventually achieve what you seek to earn good money here in the future.
106  Economy / Economics / Re: Some persons lacks financial sensibilities on: February 23, 2024, 11:06:45 PM
she probably just wants a small little gift thats more suited for the theme of valentine not necessarily a thing about money or something expensive.
remember that when giving gift you should match the theme, giving money is simply ridiculous not to mention its just a small sum.
can't blame her entirely though, at valentine being given out some money probably the last think she would think would be happening.
if you more sensible, you could be giving gift that actually are priced less than $50 and save up some money for later. but thats just my 2 cents alright.
There are person who are like that who value the moment more, more than the money but isn't it great? It means we can save more money on them, not only time though because we need to make an effort to make the things that they like happen but that still has a benefit and it can give us a good feeling.

It's important to save money for our selves so that we will have a better future, not only for us but also to our future partners and that person may not be the person who we are dating now this valentines. This is why it's important to be careful on who we are spending our money with because we don't know maybe they are only using us?

Usually when people save money, it's not always for someone, but it's for things you want to get or sometimes it can be used for unexpected things that happen to us that part of the money is to solve the problem

that's why sometimes it's a big contribution that we have money saved so that we can grab something from our pockets during times of crisis, even if we don't ask for help from others.

107  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Philippines SEC will Ban Binance. Effectivity End of Feb. 2024 on: February 23, 2024, 10:55:33 PM

108  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wrong Moves With Your Bitcoin on: February 22, 2024, 02:18:27 PM
In my experience at the time of 2017, I did not experience converting my BTC to other altcoins. Because at the time of the bull run of that year, there were times that in one day I was growing around 200$ something because the price value of Bitcoin was rallying at that time.

And at that time, when I see that there is a correction in Bitcoin for the time being, I convert the Bitcoin to USDT, and then when I see that it will reverse, I will pay Bitcoin again as long as we know. how to keep up with the trend.
109  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading using someone else's funds on: February 22, 2024, 02:02:09 PM
Hello. I've been quite successful so far in my trading endeavors. So much so that I've been offered a decent amount of money to trade with if I split the profits 50/50. I just have some questions on how I can go about doing this carefully.

How can I ensure that I am keeping track of when I am using their funds and when I am not? I guess I could always open a second trading account which would keep the funds separate, however, this would be a bit of a pain having to sign in and out of multiple accounts.

If I added the funds to my own account how can I keep track of profits? Could I calculate the percentage of what the newly added funds are compared to my current funds? And if I need to cash out or share profits in the future, I would take that percentage of my total funds and remove them?

For example, if I currently have $10,000 and am loaned $3,000, bringing me to $13,000, could I take the percentage of the loan (23%) and multiply it by my ending balance? So,if a year later, my ending balance is $37,245, would taking 23% of this balance ($8,566) provide me with the correct amount of funds? Then take the 50/50 split profit amount ($4,283) and send it back to the loaner? Does my math seem to add up?

Thanks.

Edit: Just so everyone knows, a close friend of mine has asked me to trade with some of their money. They have witnessed my trading and know that I am profitable. It is NOT a random person as others have suggested on this thread. Either way this does not matter and I would like to keep the discussion on topic.

First of all, you yourself said that the endeavors you are doing in trading are good. Right? Now, if the result of your trading is really good, why would you take a loan? That's not the true mindset of an experienced trader in an industry like this, you know.

We know that debt is just an extra headache for us, really. Now, to what you say is a friend, I will tell him that I will not be able to trade the money he entrusted to me because he knows that I am deep in trading. Because it seems to be coming out, and what used to happen to me was that I condoned his laziness to earn money. Maybe I'll tell him to learn trading, at least, because if later he loses and doesn't make a profit from trading, he'll blame me in the end because our friendship is ruined because of that kind of thing.
110  Economy / Gambling / Re: Guide for newcomers Start a fun and profitable gambling entertainment journey o on: February 21, 2024, 10:13:10 AM
In fact, they know and understand that it is risky, but the curiosity that crosses their minds means that someone will continue to play, the only way to bring enough money is if they go to a casino or play any kind of gambling game, so that when they lose they will leave the place. This gambling will certainly prevent you from wasting your personal money.
Curiosity is what brings them back to gambling. They instead bring more money to the casino in the hope that they can win. But even if they could think about it, that wouldn't guarantee them a win either. They could experience even more losses.

When playing gambling, you only need to bring enough money so that you can prevent large losses. And because there is no guarantee of winning, we shouldn't stay in the casino for too long. This is to prevent us from being lured by the many promotions we see in casinos.

Besides that, we can avoid other serious problems by playing gambling moderately. We must be able to use gambling as entertainment. That's what we must always remember so we don't gamble excessively.

I agree with what you said; actually, everything we want to know always starts with curiosity. So I support what you said, my friend. And they are probably also returning because they may think they might be lucky to win gambling with the small amount of money they have.

And there are many people who rely on luck who do that, and there are also many others who are lucky. That's why others become addicts because they rely on luck.
111  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many times we will make the same mistake? - History repeats Again & Again! on: February 21, 2024, 10:03:25 AM
As far as I know, many institutional investors in gold are already pulling out their capital investments here to switch to Bitcoin investments. This is what I know since the SEC US approved the bitcoin spot ETF.

Which, for me, is no longer surprising because institutional investors now find it easy for them to buy Bitcoin from their usual way of putting their capital, to be honest.
Although I am not saying that all Gold investors are transferring their capital into it, of course not. It's just like some of them only.
112  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Basic Tutorial sa TRENDLINE on: February 16, 2024, 04:37:58 PM

Baka lang may idea kayo, medyo nangangapal ulit ako now and learning pa ulit.  Before dba NFT ung trend, ano na ba mga nasa trend ngayon?

 Salamat.

113  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trading or Long term on: February 16, 2024, 04:25:07 PM
So I have been trying to wrap my head around which is a better option, day trading crypto or buying for long term keep.
While they both have their pros and cons, they both come with a form of risk and they are meant to generate profit.
The major difference between them is that day trading tend to make profit from small market volatility, while hodling make profit from the bigger change in crypto value.
Day trading involves more techniques, self discipline and rational decision making.
Which do you prefer and think is better

If you are not a rich person and you don't have any other source of income and you don't have any other job or any other source of income, you can do day trading, which of course requires you to have a broad understanding of trading.

But if you have businesses, not just one, you can invest in Bitcoin long-term; just wait for the right time to sell it, knowing that you will have a big profit in the end.

Kung san ka masaya, go for it.

115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Devin Haney vs Ryan Garcia on April 20 on: February 15, 2024, 11:14:23 AM
I think Devin Haney only looks like Ryan; if I were to bet, I would bet on Haney because I think he has hidden skills that Ryan doesn't know about him. But of course, this is just my opinion, and I'm just guessing and not sure.

But if I base it on his fights, I've only really seen him against Ryan, so it's probably a big advantage and points for him if he wins against his opponent for real.
116  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betting without losing your money/no need for deposit on: February 15, 2024, 10:59:25 AM
Maybe instead of wasting time on this gambling, it is better to focus our thoughts on the casinos here that have been operating here for several years, such as Duelbitsm, Stakescoin, Rollbit, LiveCasino, and others like them. who are even active in their signature campaigns.

At least with these casinos I mentioned, you don't have to worry about their reputation because many communities here trust them to play on their gambling platforms.
117  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Marvin Favis na scam? on: February 14, 2024, 08:14:18 AM

118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are altcoins important? on: February 14, 2024, 07:59:19 AM
I don't really like altcoins, especially new coins, meme classes, or hype coins. However, many argue for Altcoins, especially the newer projects, that they can experience rapid price growth, providing the potential opportunity for significant investment ROI and I'm also surprised it has always been able to attract so much interest from both investors and developers.

Even if you don't like altcoins, most crypto communities still rely on and believe in other cryptocurrencies, even in meme coins, which means that this is just proof that there are many communities before that are advancing in life because of cryptocurrency, especially when times when it hit in 2017.

Even though there are other altcoins that I have made a good profit from, now I am holding some of them for the bull run that is coming this year until next year.
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is it still risky to Invest into Altcoin now? on: February 14, 2024, 07:49:32 AM
I would like to brief about the current market situation as there has been surge in value of altcoins a much higher surge compared to Bitcoin and many would have utilised this momentum to gain profit but if we look at the other side if you just look for top gainers you will find altcoins with top surge but the next day or after few days if you check the top losers you will find the same top gainers in this list as well. So there is a price increase for altcoin but not a established one like Bitcoin, because we have not seen dump in the value of Bitcoin for over an month now but Altcoins has been pumping and dumping and in my opinion it's not worth to make entery for long term as of now it's good only for quick profit whole being very active. What's your opinion ? Shall we invest or just involve in quick trades ?

In times like this, the risk still doesn't disappear when you invest crypto in this field. And of course, when you invest in cryptocurrency, you must have knowledge of trading. You can't invest in crypto if you don't know anything about trading.

Because trading is the heart of this business industry, because without traders this industry will not survive or exist for a long time, that's how simple anyone who is here should understand.
