Another sovereign victory for Max Verstappen. Somewhere also expected. He is the only one who makes almost no mistakes in the race. No one can come close to his level. I am sorry that we will not see an exciting title battle again, if we are going to see an exciting battle then it will be a battle between Verstappen and his teammate Perez. But that's not something the fans are waiting for either. We all want someone like Leclerc or at least another team to join. I don't think that will happen for now.

One of the most dramatic endings of a season. How could this go wrong for Dortmund at home today? That is a question no one can answer. And even with the defeat, things seemed to be going well because Bayern didn't seem to win out. It was 1-1 until the 89th minute, and then there was a whirlwind Bayern attack. A nice goal by the way. Maybe this title feels like the most enjoyable because they really had to work for it and they actually stole this title from Dortmund. Would you rather become champion this way or would you rather become champion with a 20 point lead? Dortmund has in any case qualified for the CL.

Feyenoord had been champions for a long time, maybe that's why they suffered the 2nd defeat of the entire season, there was nothing more at stake. Xavi Simons saved PSV and because of him they now play Cl. But it was also a good year for PSV, won the cup, won the super cup and placed 2nd and therefore qualified for the CL. it didn't matter much if Ajax should have played the Conefgrence league. They will still be somewhat relieved at Ajax, but how can you be relieved when you finish 3rd and have not won any prizes at all? Feyenord is undoubtedly the big winner, And arne slot also remains. A top result in all respects.
104  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [CHESS] FIDE Candidates Chess Tournament 2022 on: May 21, 2023, 08:30:57 PM
In my opinion, too many tournaments are played nowadays, in the past you had a tournament a few times a year in which all the stars came together and then you had the world championship. Players now play against each other almost weekly, and it is always the same players with the pieces on the chessboard. I think you need to change the setup and think about a different concept. It is no longer fun for the players or for the spectators. A lot is also played online, you can watch things on various broadcasting sites, but Carlsen can also often be admired in matches against the speed chess beast Nakamura.

The World Cup was recently won by Ding Liren, but everyone will say that Carlsen is still the best chess player. It has also been a World Cup for show and commercialism, as the best chess player in the world would not compete. I had actually hoped that Firouzja would make some more jumps soon, we all want to see him in a duel against Carlsen, but will that still happen? Ding Liren will of course have all the rights to defend his title next year, and Carlsen may not want to participate again. Carlsen seems to have lost ambition. Maybe Hans nobody wants to take a shot at the title?
105  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: May 21, 2023, 08:29:01 PM
Even if Manchester City choose to play with their second team, they will still be able to win Chelsea. Chelsea is not a team that can stand Manchester City as it is. That's why Pep Guardiola find it worth while to rest Kelvin De Bruyne and Haaland since they have already won the premier league and also in the finals of champions league. Rest their key players will do them good for the champion league match against Inter.

What Chelsea need is a good coach that utilize their players in a better way not more players in additions to the ones they have. There no reports of Chelsea moving to sign Neymar into the team.
I have to give it to Pep Gardiola and Manchester City for a job well done.  Congratulations to them on winning the English premier league and it is well deserved. One of their treble trophy target has been achieved. City played it's second 11 team and won against the struggling Chelsea side. I just hope we're going to see a brand new version and rejuvenated Chelsea next season because this particular Chelsea has finished. 😄

Arsenal seemed to have a good chance at the championship for a long time, the difference with Manchester City was 8 points in the long run, with the game between City and Arsenal still on the program. However, that game ended in 4-1 for City and it was then clear that City would not give away the title. Arsenal have been spilling points in the last few games, but I think they were already broken mentally because they also saw City win everything in all competitions. As an Arsenal you also get desperate that you play so well and are at the top for so long. And then things still go wrong in the last few games with the title in sight.

Napoli destroyed Inter.

I really don't know how this team in the final of the Champions league, I have no words

Napoli were much better than Inter Milan, but they have been all season. However, it is not always just about beautiful football. 99% of the neutral football spectator would have liked to see Napoli in the final, but Inter is in it. They have little chance, but there is little we can do about that. All in all, a great year for Napoli. Finally won the title again after more than 33 years. Maradona would be proud of his team from 1989, which was the year Napoli last won the championship. The question is how Napoli will play next season, because you can count on some transfers taking place. I hope Napoli can keep their squad together.

City have yet to win a title, but they could and should have won 2 or maybe 3. Had a lot of bad luck in certain matches and they also had a lesser day in the so far only final against Chelsea. But what would stand in the way of a 1st title at the moment? The most difficult hurdle, Real Madrid, was easily taken and only in Madrid did they have a hard time in the first half, but that 1-1 was still an important equalizer. It will also be another confrontation between compatriots Lukaku and de Bruyne, always nice to see that. I feel like the finale this season is much later than the past and normal months. Now it is June.

There was a sweet taste to City's win, as Real Madrid were responsible for knocking out Manchester City last year. This year you only have Inter Milan left. Normally no match for Manchester City, but what is normal? Way back in 2011 we saw Bayern Munchen at home in the final against Chelsea, and that too was 1-0 until the last minute and then Chelsea won on penalties. Inter is therefore certainly not without a chance. Haaland is a big threat, but Lukaku is also a very good striker for Inter.

In the end, the result counts. I just can't remember in recent years that a team was as dominant in the CL as Manchester City is now. This sometimes resembles the total football that was previously invented by the Dutch national team. Inter Milan must approach the final smartly and not attack blindly. City occasionally has some lesser moments. Fair is fair, it is also waiting for City to win the CL once. City's odds at the start of the tournament, has anyone actually checked? I didn't expect Inter to reach the final. Too bad Napoli is not there, then we would have had a really great final.
108  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: May 21, 2023, 08:13:12 PM
Still impressive from Mourinho, who manages to reach another final with AS Roma. Won the conference league last year, and this year they have a good chance of winning the title. Seville is an experienced opponent. I wouldn't be surprised if Sevilla takes the title again this season, but it will be a kind of 50-50 game. Mourniho is surely one of the most successful coaches of all time with his current track record in this way. Haven't checked the odds with the bookmakers yet, to be honest.
109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you blame someone for your gambling losses? on: May 21, 2023, 08:06:28 PM
^

Of course, losing makes us irritable and upset, but why look for someone to blame if you initially understand the risks and take them on yourself?

As far as I know guilt has a very negative effect on a person's self-esteem and can lead to even more serious consequences later on, so it is quite possible that a person always tries to find someone to blame on the side even when he understands that he himself is at fault.

People don't want to think about the negative consequences of gambling, they want to think about the good feeling and the euphoria that is experienced when they have won another bet and the bank account has just increased again. But those are things that don't always go well, of course. I also don't know exactly how gamblers deal with big losses, some will become depressed and don't want to make this known to the outside world, for example. Gamblers all deal with losses in their own way.
110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i make 100 $ daily from online casinos on: May 21, 2023, 08:03:16 PM
I see that this topic has secretly received a lot of attention from many people. Somehow it is also attractive, imagine you could win $ 100 every day for your life at gambling. We would sign up for that. The problem, of course, is that you have a day when you lose. If that only happens after a few weeks, it doesn't matter, but it is also realistic that this will happen in the first few days, and that would be very annoying of course. You will have to come up with an optimal strategy, which also includes losses. But people often don't do the latter because they don't want to think about losing.
111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Never Expect Consistent Winnings From Gambling - A Lesson I Learnt. on: May 21, 2023, 07:54:16 PM
I don't really know what exactly players expect from a gambling site when they start gambling. Often they win with a certain strategy in the beginning, you have then made a certain expectation pattern for yourself, so that it seems that you are really good at gambling. However, that moment when you lose once will come naturally. and then it's only a matter of time before you realize that it's pure luck. But some go for their luck and try not to think about losing. You can do it that way, of course.

113  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there play and pay later casinos? on: May 21, 2023, 07:51:02 PM
Technically, all casinos basically work like this. Since no online casino pays out immediately when requesting a withdrawal. They all do everything to delay the payout as long as possible. But pay and play casinos have a good concept, only online I would not dare to do this. Then you would better try your chances in a physical casino, I think you have more chance there and you will at least be paid fairly and neatly that way. But online gambling is of course accessible.
114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: May 21, 2023, 07:49:21 PM
Still impressive of James Lebron still actively playing. He has been playing there for about 15 years in the league or maybe longer? You can see that he is physically a little less than the other players, but his experience and insight into the game make him very valuable. Always nice when the Drafting starts again. Never understood how that works exactly, but as a player you can just be traded from one day to the next without having much influence on it yourself? Who would now be the big favorite to become champion?
115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: May 21, 2023, 07:47:06 PM
An easy win for Dortmund on the face of it. And perhaps it is also good that the hemegony of Bayern Munich has now been broken. Became champions so easily in previous seasons. Don't know what the bookies think about it, but it seems to me that Dortmund has a chance of about 85% to become champion. It could just be that Bayern Munich will run into a defeat again next week. And then it's a big feet in Dortmund.
116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Think Casinos Should Do Survey From Time To Time To Assess You. on: May 21, 2023, 07:45:42 PM
A casino is only there to make a profit. They will take every opportunity to make even more profit, time after time. That seems certain to me. But starting a campaign for something like that? It won't be of much use. The only thing you can get is that the player feels a certain involvement, and that is something that can be important for a player when he starts gambling at a casino of course. Nowadays, the number of casinos is also abundant, which is also something you have to weigh as a player, which customer service is the best.
117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 21, 2023, 07:38:47 PM
One of the players I pity in England is Harry Kane.  After a superb free kick goal yesterday, I wouldn't believe it will end like that for him. Kane is one of the most underrated players in football. I know City now has Haalland, but If Kane is to join a good team like Manchester city,  he will be almost in every match just like Haalland.  I don't know what his plans are but if u ask me, I will say Kane has no tangible reason of staying in Tottenham. It's time he makes the good move so he can at least record a European trophy to his name as he is getting old.
Harry Kane purported move to  Man City few seasons ago was blocked Daniel Levy Tottenham chairman, Honestly I felt sorry for him because he had never won any trophy in his career despite scoring a lot of goals for his present club, Harry Kane should have been in stiff competition in terms of goal scoring with Haaland had it been Kane was playing for a very good club, however there was a rumour of his likely move to Man Utd next season, If such offer eventually become real he shouldn't resist it having played his part for Tottenham I believe it's high time he move elsewhere to win trophy because age is no longer in his side.

This is a season that Chelsea should soon forget. Whether that will work is the question. At least they have enough money there by spreading the contracts over a number of years. They may have thought it through, but is it enough for Chelsea? I think so, but you can only do that if you can get a good trainer for the group. And that is certainly not Lampard, far too little experience and I also think that as a trainer he is not good enough. But he is a club icon, so he may get a chance to continue as head coach for next season.

A while ago you had a sensation at the fighting matches, the male/Hulk from Iran was going to fight a match against Martyn Ford, which eventually did not take place because it turned out that his photos were the result of a good Photoshopper. You should be able to do that too. Sooner or later it will come out that you are just a fake. He then did another boxing match against an amateur boxer, but lost without a chance. I think the Iranian hulk could never have survived the fight against Ford. Anyone have any idea what's going on with this guy? Still no career as a fighter?

Haha, that turned out to be a big sensation at the time. I remember that fight was supposed to take place in London at the end of April. Good thing it didn't happen. I think he also dreaded fighting Ford on the plane. He probably only knew him from the movies. Speaking of Ford, does he seriously want to pursue a fighting career? Doesn't seem like a smart choice to me to be honest. I think he can stick to acting better. Well, I also have less insight into it of course.
120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Eredivisie 22/23 - discussion thread on: May 21, 2023, 07:32:36 PM
Unexpectedly, we still get an exciting final round in the battle for places 2, 3 and 4. It could be that Ajax will still play conference League and PSV is lucky that it still managed a 3-3 draw to obtain. So the cards have not yet been shuffled for the next round, the final game. PSV does have a tough opponent in the form of AZ, which was eliminated this week in the conference league. Ajax to the conference league, that would be a big failure for the club and the end for van der Sar as general manager?

If PSV lose to AZ and Ajax win, Ajax could even finish second, but Ajax could also finish fourth if AZ win and Ajax lose. So a very exciting last round in the Eredivisie. Nobody expected that in the last round so much is possible, Ajax from second to fourth place everything is possible.

Conferece league would be a disappointment for Ajax in any case, even if the chances to win it would be high.

It's going to be a strange ending indeed. Nobody is sure of a certain competition, except Feyenoord. If PSV misses the CL next week, they will have missed it against Heerenveen today. And it is a conceivable scenario, because when you visit AZ you can easily run into a defeat. Then you go play the EL. Ajax has a huge budget, I think that with the right trainer they can play a significant role in the CL next season. PSV does not belong there. Only Feyenoord was really mega good this season and won convincingly in the end. Not a great last game, but who cares if you're already champion anyway?

In any case, PSV managed to achieve an important draw against Heerenveen. But the fact that you are behind 1-3 at home against Heerenveen does indicate that something is structurally wrong at PSV. Otherwise you should be able to win easily in your own stadium normally. Next week we will have an exciting denouement, isn't that what we all want in the competition? Feyenoord was very good. But under a new trainer it will fall like a house of cards. So don't appoint Dirk Kuyt
