102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it normal to wait for 6 months for a bounty reward? on: July 31, 2018, 02:28:47 PM
Waiting for a bounty award for more than six months is not normal, but this is often the case here, since bounty rewards are listed at the very end of the distribution of tokens.

Really? Bounty rewards for six months is not normal at all. That is too long to wait for a bounty reward. The normal bounty will distribute tokens in a span of 30 days only. There is something fishy about that bounty you are in, you should keep updated in their telegram group so that you will know what is going on with the project. Or check the roadmap if they have followed the proper time of progress.  2-3 months the most long maybe but not 6 months. And one more thing be sure to check the bounty thread or else your effort will be wasted. That is the worst case scenario I have ever heard in a bounty campaign.
103  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and Disable person on: July 31, 2018, 01:24:04 PM
Bitcoin is just a currency, it cannot help them.
Somehow if we'll look at a better picture, it depends on their disability. If they still have a good mindset, they have vision and hands to type or click the mouse and move its cursor.
It can help them, bitcoin today isn't just a currency. It's also a way to make money and treat it as an investment. When we say bitcoin, we are generalizing it as the whole market which they can do trading while just sitting at their homes.

I agree with the quote. Not all disbility makes them incapable of using internet as a means to help them in their needs. If they will make use of what they have and make use of crypto that can give them opportunity will be good to help improve their way of life as they do it wisely. All we need to do is extend help to them as well.

Absolutely, if a persons disability does affect his/her brain (intellect), eyes (vision) and hands then he is indeed capable of doing computer jobs. Bitcoin can be a way to earn money even if a person is disable. As long as he has a little knowledge with computers and can do a little analysis to do a particular job assigned to him then he is actually going to earn what a normal person can earn too.
104  Economy / Economics / Re: Reason we pay taxes and why we should on: July 31, 2018, 05:53:50 AM
We all pay taxes to government to support the development and creation of social amenities in the society. It also help government to make savings for the GDP of such country to grow. But today, corruption is everywhere and the use of taxes has been paverse

We need to pay taxes to help the government provide public services. It will be use in paying expenditures and wages for the government workers. Aide in medical and health services to the people. The collection of taxes itself serves as a means of redistribution, as does social spending on programs designed to overcome poverty and inequality. That is why tax payment is very important to make the government become successful in giving a good services in return.
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Project without team members on: July 31, 2018, 02:01:21 AM
I don't think investor can throw money in a project without team project. Lending ICOs are bad history for every lending investors.
Team is important, as partners. You should find to check team info to decide to invest in that project.
For example: Organicco is potential project with transparent team info for every one. It is a good ICO to invest now:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3379079

A project without a team is a no no to me. If you see that it has no team and is only one man rule you should start to doubt that project because it is not easy to do it alone. it has a big chances to fail in the end. No one can assist in doing the necessary things in a project. A team is very important to be able to cope up with different issues and to be able to contribute in making decisions. I don’t think investors will risk investing in a project like it.
106  Economy / Marketplace / Re: A tool to avoid scammers on: July 30, 2018, 03:11:27 PM
Just found a new tool that I wanted to share with you all. If i knew who to watch and listen to from the beginning I wouldn't have lost so much money.... so here's to helping out the newbies. Cryptoinfluence.io has list of the most credible YouTubers ranked by the community and lists all the scammers you should avoid! It also provides comprehensive data on the user allowing you to do your analysis and look at their target audience/predict market movement. Enjoy my friends!

I didn’t know about this tool I should have known it long before I lost my tokens from my etherwallet before. I’ll try to look at this site as soon as I can to get myself safe my scammers and hackers. I hope everyone will know about this. Thank you for sharing this to us it is a great help to innocent people who are working so hard just to earn money.
107  Economy / Economics / Re: With Hackers everywhere, How safe is Cryptocurrency? on: July 30, 2018, 02:34:24 PM
Its no longer news that an ICO in Japan has lost over $400 million to hackers. They promised to pay back investors who invested in their ICO. Thsi is a huge loss. After I read that news, I began to wonder. How safe is Bitcoin and Other altcoins? What measures should we take to avoid being hacked ?

Blockchain technology is by far one of the most innovative security systems. However, hackers cannot disappear. No matter how strong of a system is, there will always be a hacker who can breach it. If it is made, then there is always a way. Negligence is the number 1 cause of hackers' continuing counts of victims. That's why we all should know some precautions:

1. Never give you private key to anyone.  When a site wants a private key, start doubting that site.
2. Always read and understand. Watch out for grammar mistakes and such stuffs. Most bogus sites have ugly as hell grammar
3. Be vigilant! Do background checking! Some might say "paranoid!!" But who cares?! It's your money on the line!!!!

Correct, I gree with you in this. The best thing to keep our crypto assets safe is through a proper personal care of our own private keys. And avoid being phised in an anonymous or malicious websites. Better be safe than sorry because no one else can be blamed if we get hacked or become a victim of hackers except our own negligence. Hackers will always find ways to get what they want but its up to us if we let them get it.
108  Economy / Economics / Re: Why lot of countries do not allow to use Crpto? on: July 30, 2018, 09:15:51 AM
Many countries do not allow the use of bitcoin because they do not yet recognize the value of bitcoin and they do not dare to go hungry with the management of bitcoin nor know the bitcoin will bring them value.

Agree. In addition why some countries do not allow to use Crypto is because they can't really controlled decentralized currency due to transaction will be made by peer to peer that does not need third parties presence. And also some countries not yet fully recognized bitcoin existence and its benefits that would helps economic growth in the long run.

Other countries concern specially the government first thing they do is form a currency. They like to control the currency. They control it through the central bank. That is why they don’t allow cryptocurrency as a legal tender because they cannot do tracking of your transactions not like with your bank accounts where there is a third party involved.
109  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency on: July 29, 2018, 02:15:46 PM
I think it still takes a relatively long time for bitcoin be used as a universal payment tool because the government tends to worry when the population continues to rely on bitcoin as a medium of exchange and causes the local currency to disappear later.

For me cryptocurrency is very reliable because there is no other electronic cash system in which your account isn’t owned by someone else. Take PayPal, for example: if the company decides for some reason that your account has been misused, it has the power to freeze all of the assets held in the account, without consulting you. It is then up to you to jump through whatever hoops are necessary to get it cleared, so that you can access your funds. With cryptocurrency, you own the private key and the corresponding public key that makes up your cryptpcurrency address. No one can take that away from you unless  you lose it yourself.
110  Economy / Economics / Re: Beside Cryptocurrenices where would you invest? on: July 29, 2018, 03:23:42 AM
A lot of people now days jumping and investing in the cryptocurrency industry.
If you are not investing in crypto, where do you else invest?
Property ? normal crowdfunding? give your input
I also invest in electronic money and real estate right now. I got out of stock market two years ago and realize the potential cryptocurrency market. I missed the opportunity to buy bitcoin with low value and right now I have bought it with higher value

Aside from cryptocurrencies I also invest in gold and silver, lending and internet cafe business. It is better to separate investments to make sure that you will not be easily affected if one is  failure. "Do not put all your eggs in one basket" is the most used phrase in a business minded person. It is too risky to do you cannot afford to lose your money all at once in a wrong investment. Because we really cannot automatically identify which investment is good until it is done.
111  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do older people like investing in Gold/Silver? on: July 28, 2018, 11:26:19 PM
This seems obvious for me because the older people are just afraid of everything new and fresh. This is true about any country and any nation in the world. Elders are just elders and so they are always unconfident in something new.
Most of old people are not aware about the blockchain technology and maybe because this are the technology of new generations, so they prefer to invest of what they have used to invest like in silver and gold, that is what I always hear from my mother that gold investment is very good for future and for emergency purpose, but for me crypto investment is better than gold because it always give good opportunity to be profitable.

Yeah old people have no idean of technology so they would prefer the old investment style which is gold and silver because it is not as risky as crypto. Cryptocurrency for them is new and not easy to do and very technical that needs to be learned and understood but they have no time because they are also busy doing their old things that they are used to do. But gold and silver basically is a good investment and more stable also less profitable.

113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Your Money Safer In Crypto than at the Bank? on: July 27, 2018, 09:15:20 AM
When it comes to the safety of the money of course bank is one of the safest. But if you want your money to double or tripple or even more you can put/invest it in crypto but no assurance.

Banks are safe compared to cryptocurrency but money in the banks has less interest while cryptocurrencies have a good potential to gain more interest. Although banks has stable price and cryptocurrency business is untable due to price volatility. Some people are still into banks because they are afraid of crypto while others are risk takers who choose crypto.
114  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin again 6k$..... on: July 27, 2018, 05:53:02 AM
Hey guys, bitcon is now 6k again... what do you think, will bitcoin go to 5k or it is just a short fall and it is going to be 8k again soon?
Now the situation on the market has improved, but it seems to me that this is still not a stable growth and the price is likely to fall soon.

No longer $6000 now it has increased to $8,000 and keep sliding up slowly. Just the same thing that happened last year July 2017 is likely the same at this moment where the price is $8,000 and by the end if the month it reaches up to $16,000. I can see a history repetition now. This is the beginning of bitcoin rise. Everybody will be happy for the new market condition.
115  Economy / Marketplace / Re: "Bitcoin mining is a Big no!" on: July 26, 2018, 02:55:29 PM
Bitcoin mining is a big no for me too. I will rather invest my money in buying and HODL and I can be sure of making profit.  I have researched and so far I cannot find any profitable mining platform. Virtually all of them are out to feed on you. Recovering your initial investment in mining can be very challenging.

Yes, I believe that cloud mining is a big No too because it is dangerous to the environment because of the heat it releases has a harmful effect to the environment. And other than that it is too risky and very expensive. Cloud mining takes a lot of time to get back your return of investment. Not to mention the price of maintenance to operate the whole process. Mining has lot of serious issues to consider beforehand.
116  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Tip sa pag send ng Ethereum or other ERC20 Token on: July 26, 2018, 01:22:03 PM

118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Has the market recovered? on: July 26, 2018, 12:35:24 PM
The market has not recovered, it takes months, or at the end of this year the price of new coins may increase again, and then it is time we sell the best.
Yes hopefully Bitcoin price will break the $10000 resistance and if that happens I will agree that the market goes in the trend reversal. All we have to do right now is to wait and be patient. Goodluck to all of us.

Bitcoin prices and cryptocurrency markets have improved marginally in the last 24 hours. Bitcoin's value appears to be recovering after a horrifying few weeks for those who are invested in it. At least for the moment there is a sign of full recovery. The last three days have seen a stronger performance, after the market apparently bottomed out. Let us hope for the best of bitcoin for the coming days and pray this will continue to climb all the way up to $15k.

Everyones hasn diferent beliefs about money and wealth. See for example 35 different ways of thinking about it here:
https://daringtolivefully.com/powerful-beliefs-about-money

One famous author, not my favourite, yet an influential one is Robert Kyosaki. In his book "Rich Dad, Poor Dad", he examines two different beliefs and states that those believes will shape your success.

What of these do you agree with? What other beliefs do you have about money?

1 - Millionaires are greedy, that is why they become millionaires.
2 - Company managers just want to use the workers to make themselves rich and others poor.
3 - Having money is a question of luck, if not of "gods grace".
4 - Debt is always bad.
5 - To make money, you just need to have a great idea nobody thought off.
6 - Cryptos are the way to make money and be successful without having to put effort into it.
7 - To become rich I just have to believe in Bitcoin because many people have become rich doing that.
8 - To become rich I just have to be more clever and streetwise than everyone around to get my share of the cake.

Your turn to think ...

(EDIT: These are NOT my beliefs, at least not necessarily, is just a list to think. Is not the list by Robert K. either.)

In my own beliefs I am not a believer of having lots of money is considered rich and wealthy. I’d rather choose to be happy and contented without so much money. Being rich doesn’t require us to have lots of money in banks or got lots of luxurious cars and big houses. Because some people are still not happy with all their riches there still emptiness inside that money cannot fill. Family and relationships with enough money to pay bills and stable work is what matters most.

A trader just made a million dollar bet that Bitcoin would be over $50k by the end of 2018  A large trader (or traders) just plopped down a million dollars betting that Bitcoin would hit $50k sometime in 2018.
it's very high ambitious, that the prediction at the end of the year will now go up, but for me it is still a high risk need to be taken into account because the prices in the current month are still up and down predictions for the next month or not the price will be good. the year before it was translucent to $ 50k

Bitcoin lately keeps changing here and there that can hardly be speculated as early as now. But looking back to 2017’s bitcoin price in the middle of that year who would have thought that it will reach up to $20,000 during the last quarter. Meaning we really don’t know what will happen but I am hoping this year is going to be just  like last year so that we can earn a huge amount of money from our investments.
