101  Economy / Services / Re: Acewins.io Signature Campaign (Full Member+) Apply Now on: January 14, 2020, 09:45:04 AM
Don't worry about the payment. You can see the bitcoin balance in the link below:

https://www.blockchain.com/btc/address/12foCDbRynEd7kWdk7A1UbyVozYeVL1Np9
I am not trying to be prick here but, who owns and control the BTC address 12foCDbRynEd7kWdk7A1UbyVozYeVL1Np9?
Is it you or the owner? If its you, follow the instruction suggested by sheenshane
If that address is controlled by the site owners then they should hire and escrow to hold the funds.
Let escrows hold the funds just like other campaigns here.
102  Economy / Services / Re: Acewins.io Signature Campaign (Full Member+) Apply Now on: January 14, 2020, 09:17:08 AM
Thanks for this. I just have talked with the owner about it. They want at least 2 weeks of promotion. I will update it in the thread. This one is very important for the applicant. Forgot to ask before. I appreciate for pointing this.
Since you have access to talk directly to the owner, I suggest that you encourage the owners to hire an escrow. That is to protect the participants of this campaign. This is to show that the owner has enough money to pay for the participants. It also give the peace of mind to the participants that whatever happens, they are going to be paid.
103  Economy / Services / Re: Acewins.io Signature Campaign (Full Member+) Apply Now on: January 14, 2020, 08:51:26 AM
Are you holding the funds for this signature campaign or the owner of the site entrusted the funds to a trusted escrow in this forum. I suggest that funds will be held by a trusted escrow. You may wan't to check the list here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=855778.0. Kindly indicate how long this campaign will last.

I am reserving a Full member spot, so, there are 3 Full Member & the rest.
The slot is reserved to who?
104  Economy / Speculation / Re: Learn How to Trade Bitcoin using Bollinger Bands on: January 09, 2020, 11:58:00 PM
Go to the thread of Gunbot and you will see a very good explanation of how Bollinger Bands works. If you see high volume and the price of that coin keeps going up, try to use Bollinger Bands to help you decide if its a good time to Buy and if you are holding the coin already, use it if the trend will continue or not. It looks like Bollinger Bands are good for day traders.
105  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Experiences about Mining Hoster minery.io on: January 09, 2020, 11:53:33 PM
I tried to look for any online reviews or feedback about the site but I can't find any. It looks like a new site that was recently launched. Looking at the site it self, it doesn't give much information about the owners (background, successful ventures and previous business) of this site so why would I put a Satoshi to site who can't even show who is behind the site itself. More likely this is just one of those scam sites that will last for only a few months.
106  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Excessive confidence in cryptocurrency trading. on: January 09, 2020, 11:49:53 PM
Confidence comes from knowledge and expectation of success because of your knowledge. Confidence is the vehicle practical application. If you fail in actual trading, I have no idea how you can be excessively confident, maybe you can still remain just confident and think that you'll learn from these faults and it's just a combination of steps that you need in order to succeed, after a lot of success, then excessive confidence really comes. If you experience so huge confidence without actual experience in cryptocurrency trading, then I think there is something wrong or you may just naturally have a lot of dopamine.
You're somehow right but i think confidence comes from ones believe and an example is the bitcoin halving which have happened twice an turn out to be the pace for the crgpto market to achieve a new ATH while experience and knowledge are what needed to be a successful crypto trader.
There a times when being too much overconfident is not a good thing because you tend to overlook a small detail because you think you already checked it. In crypto trading, I still believe that no one can exactly predict where the price of Bitcoin is heading even if he is one whose whales who holds a huge amount of BTC that can make an impact if they placed a sell or buy order.
107  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting strategy. on: January 09, 2020, 11:43:21 PM
Sports betting is really more on your knowledge of the particular sport. Better place your bets to those matches that you feel you have high chance of winning and aim for much higher profit. But maybe, the OP is only conservative in his calculations. We really don't know how far is his knowledge to the sports he is betting with.
I agree with this statement. This happens to those who just go with the flow and ride the bandwagon. If you dont play basketball and just picks on who is popular, definitely you will lose, its not a popularity game. Also, if you place a bet on a team that is currently on top of the list but they sidelined their top player because of an injury, more likely that team will lose. Think first before placing a bet.
108  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: US- Iran Tensions boost Bitcoin price to $24,000 on: January 09, 2020, 11:35:44 PM
Its just between Iran and US and some of the allied countries that backs Iran. if the conflict started to involve bigger countries like Russia, China, and Korea, start to fill up your bags and keep them safe, but still I would go for Gold because if you notice the price of Gold started to climb slowly when the conflict between Iran and US started to escalate.
109  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you go to blockchain/crypto events? on: January 09, 2020, 11:29:25 PM
Does anyone go to events? And if you do, what do you like most about them?
I do. I even attended the Blockshow in Singapore last year. Its a good place to learn and meet new people and also see in person people who you see in articles only because there are times they invite big names to be their guest speaker. Another is the freebies, since theres an exibit, expect a lot of giveaways from different companies to tryout and promote their services. Most of them are giving away USBs.
110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quick Survey: why do you specifically use crypto to gambooool ? on: January 09, 2020, 11:13:14 PM
Hello Degens

I am doing a little research on WHY people are betting /gambling online with btc/crypto from various countries/states worldwide, and was hoping bitcointalk members  can be of some assistance.
I would specifically like to know (if you happen use crypto to gamble online) why you do so.

eg is it because you:
  • can pay Less vig in some cases?
  • wider game selection can gamble on games like minesweeper, paper rock scissors and other novelty games?
  • "provably fair" games
  • cannot bet in your current location
  • crypto sites might offer markets unavailable elsewhere
  • others ?

any info appreciated, if you can give me your state/country that would be helpful too for context.
I will happily publish the results of the survey later ITT if anyone is interested/cares.

Thanks
I gamble online rather than going to a brick and mortar casino because I don't want to expose my self that I am into gambling. Another is casinos in our place are far from my house, it will take me an hour drive of traffic and I need to dress up appropriately just to be allowed to come inside their casino and play. Unlike going online its the opposite.
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which crypto is good for long trading? on: January 09, 2020, 11:10:04 PM
Hello people! I'm just wondering.. Aside from bitcoin, what are the other crypto that you are trading? And do you have any recommendation? Thanks in advance..
If its long term, I go for BNB and ETH. BNB so far has performed well and this company is very well managed so expect that this company will stay on top of its game since they keep on developing their exchange site and they keep on expanding to have a better reach of the market. ADA is also a good choice for long term holding.

Donald Cerrone denies feud with Conor McGregor, blames media for ‘digging for s**t’

“That’s just you media boys digging and shoveling for sh*t to bring up,” Cerrone told MMA Fighting. “That’s all that was. Conor hasn’t said anything bad about me so you’ve got to go get old sh*t out.”

https://www.bjpenn.com/mma-news/ufc/donald-cerrone-denies-feud-with-conor-mcgregor-blames-media-for-digging-for-st/

That's the media's way of over-exaggerating things to have some views in their website without it they won't earn anything and the bad thing about this is what lies they are spreading will become true when things will heat up on each one of them. However we all know that Connor McGregor is a loud-mouthed guy and he tends to mock his opponent and in the UFC things can heat up really fast especially when guys like Connor McGregor starts to talk trash so with or without the media's help McGregor is doing good on his own.
Or maybe its the UFC who asked them to create such story so that it will add up to the hype of this fight. I have nothing against Conor, he is talented but after his lost to Diaz and Khabib, he was exposed and fighters can clearly see a blueprint of how to beat him, but still Dana is selling Conor and his fights unlike other better fighters with potential.
113  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bot trading domination: Time to panic? on: January 09, 2020, 10:52:04 PM
I don't see anything wrong with using Bots and if there will be more Bots users this year. All I can see is that traders just want to trade without being mindful of their feeling or emotions. When I started using a bot, bot traded just like what I asked him to do, unlike when I trade, when I see theres a chance that profits will be higher, I dont sell and hold but after a few minutes of waiting, price dropped, there goes yous profits down the drain because of following your emotions instead of what is the original plan.
114  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥BITSLER > $20,000 Wagering contest + $5,000 Free challenges + Cashback/Chests on: January 08, 2020, 11:53:24 PM
It's been a while since I've seen this happen on Bitsler » Well done!
Congrats and I hope you will spend it wisely. That amount of money surely is a life changer and will go a long way if spent in the right places.

BTW Bitsler is just 400 Million bets away from hitting the 38th Billionth bet. Care to announce whats cooking for the next milestone?

115  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does auto trading bot make good profit ? on: January 08, 2020, 11:48:14 PM
It depends on the settings applied by the bot owner or users. Keep in mind that Bit will not choose the right coin for you to buy, its still the user who will select that. Its also the user who will enter the right settings, meaning user will set the right timing when the bot will buy or sell the coin that the user selected. With all this in mind, this means Bot will act only based on the commands of the user. The advantage of having a bot is if you have not much time to trade, Bot will do that for you minus the emotions or FOMO.
116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cools After Trump De-Escalates War With Iran on: January 08, 2020, 11:40:09 PM
The tension between US and Iran is there and has always been there. It just rises because of POTUS asking his army to hit Iran with their General in the area. The tension between US and Iran is all about Oil and nothing more. Bitcoin surging to $8,000 has nothing to do with it or not affected by it. If you are surprise by the sudden surge of price of Bitcoin then where have you been in the past years.
117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: January 08, 2020, 11:32:33 PM
I always doubted Conor McGregor and he always proved me wrong and i always picked against him and even when he lost the first fight against Nate Diaz that was the fight i picked him to win as the first two rounds he was thoroughly winning the fight and placed a bet on seeing that and i lost my bet and coming into this fight he is really prepared and he choose the division for this fight and i am expecting him to win but it will be a tough task to face Donal Cerrone and if he is not successful he can always move down to Featherweight division but he has bulked up a lot and i find it impossible for him to cut that much weight and his apt weight to fight would be Lightweight.
It will be humiliating for Conor if he will loose to Cerrone. With all the hype and how Dana White is supporting him and yet he will loose to Cerrone, he should think of his future after this fight. Conor is talented but he should be serious in preparing for his fights and not just partying and endorsing products left and right.
118  Other / Meta / Re: Is it ok to create a thread to keep track of my Bitmex Gambling? on: January 08, 2020, 11:24:40 PM
Yup, sounds like this should be in the trading discussion section. There are other threads like this already where they post their trades, how they analyze a cahrt and their observations as well as where the price of Bitcoin is going. Feel free to update it as often as possible so that others can watch and follow your trades. Good luck.
119  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Poloniex Data Leak on Twitter on: January 06, 2020, 11:53:18 PM
As soon as I read that article in Cointelegraph, I checked my Poloniex account and look at my email if I also received such an email. I didn’t get any. Does that mean my account was not among those that was leaked? I still updated my password just because quarterly I change my password and use random password generator by Avast. I dont use the same password on the exchanges that I use. Not anymore.
120  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It’s very easy to trade Bitcoin on: January 06, 2020, 11:46:36 PM
Those who are started trading in stock market and shifted to crypto is not saying trading is very easy. Even those who are trading cryptos for quite some time are not saying trading is very easy. It is easy to trade yes, just choose what exchange that you will use, add funds, select a coin to trade and wait. Next question is how much do you think you will earn for not studying the coin that you bought? How much do you think you will earn for not even checking the volume of that coin? Its very easy to lose money in trading, that statement is true.
