Quick Survey: why do you specifically use crypto to gambooool ?

I am doing a little research on WHY people are betting /gambling online with btc/crypto from various countries/states worldwide, and was hoping bitcointalk members  can be of some assistance.
I would specifically like to know (if you happen use crypto to gamble online) why you do so.

eg is it because you:

• can pay Less vig in some cases?
• wider game selection can gamble on games like minesweeper, paper rock scissors and other novelty games?
• "provably fair" games
• cannot bet in your current location
• crypto sites might offer markets unavailable elsewhere
• others ?

any info appreciated, if you can give me your state/country that would be helpful too for context.

You've answered your own question here and I am sure this is not an appropriate board for this topic. Kindly move to the gambling discussion board and probably much better. An additional to your answers are, avoiding KYC and easy to gamble using crypto because no one will know who you are(anonymously) not like using fiat it needs to reveal or link your bank account and probably identity.
Nevertheless, you are sincere here about having a survey and not advertising your own website. Good luck with your survey.

As a gambler, it shouldn't be a matter wherein they will use fiat or crypto to play gambling as long as they really want to gamble on that particular site. However, in general, depositing money to fiat gambling sites isn't really convenient to others and in most cases, only limited to a few deposit options which the usual method is bank deposit. And in case of big winnings, it will be subject to verification, not just with the site but once the money is withdrawn to the bank (alarm). Also, we need to provide our personal information.

In crypto-form of gambling, even a casual gambler or those who only do gamble for once a month, or even a kid can bet whenever they want without worrying about undergoing a hassle way of depositing funds to their preferred crypto gambling sites while at the same time enjoying their anonymity.

I do have experience using a fiat online gambling site back then. The deposit option was only limited to bank transfer. Although I feel safe because the site was reputable and operating with a license, I found it hassle to fund my account just to play.

At the same time cryptos like doge coins and tron are very cheap, using them to gamble does not burn the pockets. Similar words I do tend to say and that's the main reason why ive been hooked up on crypto gambling due to this.

Less hassle yet you wouldnt need your debit/credit card before you do play and theres no need for any kyc.

Convenient in the sense that you can play a wide variety of games by depositing crypto on a few clicks then you're
good to go.

I have to agree to others here as well that crypto is more convenient to use compare to fiat. I don't see any fiat-based gambling site that doesn't need KYC and we aren't comfortable with that. Since it's easy to fund crypto, depositing to a crypto-gambling site is easy as well. No KYC, no documents, no blahblahblah, just an email and we can now start to gamble.

If only fiat-based gambling does have that, maybe I consider using them. Don't have an update as now if there's a change in their usual deposit methods.

Provably fair is definitely a big contributing factor. Traditional online casinos have big house edges and don't have provably fair mechanisms, which makes you aways skeptical of whether or not they are truly safe and fair especially when you see stories of very shady circumstances under which people lose money.

Also, convenience. As others have mentioned, crypto deposits take no time to hit (if you are playing on a casino with 0 confirmation deposits), and have no fees attached to them compared to something like Skrill or Neteller which could take a while to recharge from your bank.

I think the one thing that people failed to mention in general is the community. Crypto casinos generally do a much better job cerating a sense of community, through chatrooms, events, etc. compared to fiat ones.

Everyone has a different reason why do we use crypto to gamble. Well, I'm glad that cryptocurrency has good benefits for using it on gambling.
For me, just like what @harizen told and I think that's also one of the most reason for majority gamblers that uses cryptocurrency.

For now, I'll give a scenario about that for what I experienced using crypto and using fiat.
E.g. I tried to gamble in some online websites based on our country and before I can gamble, I needed to withdraw my money from ATM Bank and go to some money send an express to send my cash-in my money to the gambling site and I need to wait because there's a lot of people.

So, if we do it using cryptocurrency, hell yeah. LESS HASSLE and CONVENIENT, and MUCH CHEAPER too since of some fees compare sending fiat to the gambling site.

Valid reasoning imho and you wont really have these kind of problems if you do use up crypto into your gambling activity.

like what harizen said "LESS HASSLE and CONVENIENT" but for me being able to play in such small amounts (which you can't do in most local gambling casino(or at least in my area) is one of the reasons I specifically use crypto for gambling. also, having a wide range of gambling game and online gambling casino that gives the best opportunity to earn and enjoy the game is definitely a must-try and will be a waste to miss it out.

Biggest reasons for me to gamble are:

- Ability to gamble with amounts as low as 1 satoshi(Difficult to find such low amounts in a FIAT based casino)
- No KYC ensures that my identity is anonymous
- Simple registration process
- Possibility to earn more thanks to the volatile nature of crypto

And it really minimize the hassle since in fiat we can get a hard time for any legal documentation which is totally sucks to provide with and imagine how big the fee's we will pay for every transactions we made.

I guess many choose crypto for the anonymity/pseudo anonymity it offers. Crypto-gambling also tends to attract people who are already familiar with crypto.     International gambling owners probably find cryptocurrency payment better & easier to integrate into their sites. And crypto is quite easy to get and use worldwide. Provable fair is an important factor too.

The banks in my country limit deposits and withdrawals to and from gambling-related websites so it makes it troublesome for me to gamble on the sites I want to. With crypto casinos and sportsbooks I don't have those problems. There is also no KYC and lengthy verification procedure. Yup this is right in my country gambling is not legal thats one reason why I use crypto gambling site to play online casino games.
Another reason the transaction fee was too small plus less hasle and easy to use all you need is good internet and fund to your account some popular gambling site also offer a contest, bonuses and exciting suprises.

I gamble online rather than going to a brick and mortar casino because I don't want to expose my self that I am into gambling. Another is casinos in our place are far from my house, it will take me an hour drive of traffic and I need to dress up appropriately just to be allowed to come inside their casino and play. Unlike going online its the opposite.

Personally, I just happen to have more invested in cryptocurrency than I do fiat currency, hence why it's more practical for me to simply tap into my crypto reserves to gamble.

Plus, I prefer the anonymity of it. I don't think I have ever been asked to provide my KYC details to a crypto gambling portal, whereas practically every fiat online casino required KYC.

I'm not in the business of giving out my identity information to just anyone, so I prefer not to do it where possible.

The provably fair part, versus the probably fair of Fiat casinoes, is the feature that definitely makes me gamble, and lose, serenely.
Also skipping the hassle to verify our identities sending documents bills and all the stuff is a big plus for crypto gambling. Not to talk about gambling legal regulation restricting many players to their own sites or completely prohibiting gambling.

Exactly. Gambling is illegal in many countries which makes anonymity quite important in my opinion.
Way more convenient is another reason as well. Easy and quick to exchange from this currency to another already make my life easier when gambling online.
