I don't think I've ever seen so much FUD concentrated in a single thread. What gives?

You should see the amount of FUD pointed at Bitcoin Smiley, go check btc-e troll box, your mind will bleed after 30 minutes
This is the strategy that you see with every fresh market out there.

There are:
- the ones who make money from daytrading (which are forming groups and paying low life forums warriors to spread BS on various markets).
- the ones who are not very good at daytrading, which are throwing the money in and are using a bullish approach.

So, bulls are like - "to the moon", bears(daytraders) are like - "X is going down, scam, dev dumped premine, etc"

I'm so baffled by the fact that people are still reacting to those low life idiots, which are hurting everything, and this forums too.

And there is the worst kind, the RiverBoatBTC kind. The ones who go butt hurt after loosing 100 bucks, and they are spreading BS just because they lost Smiley, thanks to them we are making money Wink

I ask for an audit of the code all the time, nobody bothers except people associated. rat4, and a fellow from Intel back when i visited Chicago for a conference.

I'm done here, you really have some sort of issues posting public information here im not sure what your malfunction is. If it keeps up, your IP address we will get and more action will follow. Remove that garbage. I'm not even giving you a second more of my time.

You gonna outsource it to a SE Asian, the mods are going to LAUGH in your FACE when you ask for my IP lol. If you even could "which you can't" do anything about posting information I would wrap you up in legal process so long you would go BROKE. Then I would counter sue you for restitution and take everything you own, which is not much... Yes I looked lol.

Dude, you are a complete retard
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you put 200% of the cost of a Item in escrow? on: December 06, 2014, 07:44:59 PM
Been talking to some people about escrow, one of the systems requires users to put the cost of a item in escrow time two.

For instance you buy a miner for 5BTC  you must put 10BTC into escrow.

The seller is also required to put up the cost of the item into escrow.

If you and the other person do not agree you and the seller lose all the coins to the escrow system. So the system would get 15BTC from the dispute.

Would you use a system like this?

First of all, you are stupid
Second, you don't need to put 200%
Third, the system would get nothing from the dispute

The conclusion, you are stupid

You put WHATEVER amount you agree with the party. Seller and buyers agrees whatever the amount suits them best.

There no "if you and the other person do not agree". If that happens in a friendly manner, both seller and buyer gets their escrow "fee" back.

This system can only work like this... lose-lose or win-win. The incentive for scamming the party is 0, so why bother starting a fraudulent transaction?

oh, and lets not forget, you are stupid

And this is what you get with bitbay people.. lol

The head dev of bitbay explains it exactly like I said it http://youtu.be/wZp3Up5Y4pE?t=5m47s

No, this is that YOU (RiverBoatBTC) gets, since you are just a low life BS spreader.

No you monkey, that's how YOU understand, not how he explains it. Double escrow does not mean 200% of the cost of item. Double deposit escrow means that both BUYER and SELLER must cover the escrow.

You sure are a angry little fellow, its ok I know you drink from the bitbay koolaid but when it all comes crashing down. I will just give you a little  Wink

I'm not angry you shithead, i'm just straight as an arrow and I'm not following my tail before saying something in someones face.

You learn a freaking new work and you are repeating that shit like a broken clock. koolaid, koolaid...your post history is full of it.
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BitBay |Decentralized Marketplace|Smart Contracts|IoT Tech|Markets Open on: December 06, 2014, 07:33:02 PM
When's the party starting?
This is the party, a huge nerd dreamers wanna be millionaires stuck in a perpetual sausage fest forum where we exchange money for dreams. A giant lottery monopoly fed by anger and fake optimism, and I am here among you all.

I'm talking about us being back to ICO prices. This coin doesn't deserve this price
And who dictates the price? I've invested as much as I'm going to spend here, not a dime more, if the price is the current one is because that is what everyone believes it to be, if you don't then buy up.

I bought everything I could during ICO because I believed the project was worth that much. Seems like i was wrong. At least for now...

Let me guess, you are looking for an investment to double your investment in one month? Dream on. Those days are over.
From now on only the smart and patience hands will make money.

No more HappyDogCoin, HappyTreeCoin, StupidNameCoin, CheeseCoin, etc...

Yep. That's the spirit  Grin
About Bay I'm afraid that ICO was too expensive, so rising now is not easy.

the fact that fud dissapeared is remarkable

I don't want to buy so I'm not fuding.
I'm curious about why someone sold so low - if this is dev and who's owning 45% coins.
Regular questions, not fud.

Nobody is owning 45% coins. How can you ask such a stupid question?
That's bter cold storage. I have some of my coins there too.

bitbayd.exe keeps crashing for me. Anyone else getting this?

Hmm thats strange, whats the error you are getting? Are you trying to run it at the same time as BitBay? We currently have both using the same RPC port. Will change that later. PM me if you still have problems.

Not running at the same time. It seems to happen after a few minutes and not even doing anything in particular (I first noticed it after I got back from having a coffee while I was letting the new wallet sync). I restarted the client and it crashed again after a few minutes. The crash is a generic APPCRASH and I don't get any particular error message. I'll try again and make sure I have all signs of the old wallet eliminated just to be sure.

Best approach is to run it on a fresh windows setup on VM. See if its crashing there too. Works fine for me tho

"I design a website for a client. He is paying me through paypal. After I deliver the website, he issues a chargeback for X reason. I'll have absolute 0 chance to stop that since the BUYER is right in the eyes of paypal"

Not true, Paypal does not accept chargebacks for digital products...

Dont try he is a kool aid drinker its obvious thats why I did not respond.

Cut this crap already, don't give me this shit. That's not the point. I only said that as an example ...

"mimimi, paypal does not accept chargebacks for digital products..."

It's so easy to play smart ass, yet still your ignorance have no limit...

It was just to point out that everybody is ignorant in some niche...as you are in the Paypal niche. Using the word "ignorance" in every sentence won't change the fact that you have somehow the illusion to not be an ignorant. Anyway, that's a discussion of another level.

How am I ignorant in paypal niche? I used the fucking "" for fuck sake yet you are still playing smart ass? Or are you that stupid?

Your silly my concerns are real if you see them or not. I have raised the same concerns in other blockmarkets as well the only difference is the other communities explained how they would fix it.

Here i get you are a none believer, go spend fait.

I have to spend fait till the power, rent and other service will take my coins.

I dono why you are all butt hurt and not abusive.

Yes, your concerns are real, but those concerns cannot be applied since we cannot have a service to cover EVERYTHING, ever.

- yes, there will be people who cannot afford it
- yes, there will be people who don't wanna have X amount of money stuck into the service
- etc

BUT, there is still a huge market who's gonna be happy to have such a service, you can't say that 99% will not use it. It's just pure ignorance.

I'm not but hurt at all and nor abusive, but I don't like ignorance.
You CAN"T say that you have real concerns, but in the same time STATE that 99% of people will not use.

I have a real concern with paypal too.

"I design a website for a client. He is paying me through paypal. After I deliver the website, he issues a chargeback for X reason. I'll have absolute 0 chance to stop that since the BUYER is right in the eyes of paypal"

Anyway...I'm to lazy to write walls of text, you get the point...

Yeah, well, wall street is doing this since forever but on a different scale. Some maggots we got here Smiley

So take for example I wanted to buy something for 10k USD I have to put 20k Down? No way... No way not happening.

Pretty sure if you polled the community as a whole they would not go for this either.

Yea, pretty absurd...  Will limit the market to people selling DOGE tshirts.   Cheesy

Yes sir, think its a fatal flaw.

Flaw?  Do you know how fast those things sell?  Merchandise movement is merchandise movement...Wink

I don't think that smart contracts are going to be limited to DD though.  I could be wrong but I would think that they would be negotiable between seller/buyer.

So in all honesty if you were lets say going to buy a miners for 1800 dollars you would be willing to put up 3600 dollars in escrow. Nahhh brother about 99% of people would not or could not afford to do it.

Why do people always talk big figures? What about a cell phone? What about a software license? What about a domain name?
By your logic, 99% of online transaction are >1500$ right?

Such ignorance...

Wait until you buy that 1800 miners and receive shit Smiley

If I wanted buy a website I would go to godaddy, unless its established then it would cost more then 9.99 so that point is void.
The cellphones I own cost 250+ each so that is also not a good point
I will not have that problem cause I will use a escrow service that may cost me 5$ bucks lol....

I got a quick quesiton about something

Q: Please explain how the escrow system will protect buyers & sellers in BitBay transactions.

A: The system is the revolutionary double deposit escrow. Both Buyer and Seller place deposits into a shared account. There is no need for an escrow agent. The deposits serve as the incentive to perform. Therefore theft and deception is impossible in these escrows. If those actions occur, the parties will not agree, the escrow will expire and they both lose. BitBay takes the profit out of theft.

Lets say I am the buyers, and I really hate a seller. He sends me my product and I just dispute it causing him to lose coins, i keep doing this to bankrupt him. How will you prevent this?

I could care less if I lose coins I got the product in hand.

Because you have to deposit TWICE the amount required to buy the product. So, unless you are just some psychopathic rich weirdo who doesn't mind spending double the amount for something just to torment the seller, this isn't going to happen very often because most people actually value their money.

So take for example I wanted to buy something for 10k USD I have to put 20k Down? No way... No way not happening.

Pretty sure if you polled the community as a whole they would not go for this either.
^ You get it.
The DD escrow just doesn't seem practical for use.
I wonder how many people actually read the complete FAQ or understood how the escrow system really works.

I hate when people point out a problem and people get offensive about it, instead of looking at it from there point of view.

You know.........nevermind, you are that type. I waste my time

You don't believe in crypto, you don't see it's purpose, you are in for profit and that alone. Why are you posting on this forums? Seems like you're doing fine using your FIAT.

119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: THOSE BAY FAQs... on: December 04, 2014, 08:16:57 PM
Of course I got some Bay. bN2NGi2bF1cpcQcsxmY4daCpi2tQqW5tnS  and  bNgmCcxPKgQQqUe6rhNtbGWowMJFCuxjZ3 there is a small amount more on
the exchange too. However, i took most of it off the exchange simply because I dont like having my coins on exchanges. (lost some on Mintpal) :/

Also, the fee in BTC was higher than 40. It was about 100.
1JTyPBZm2g6VesSKm23FFtzhNVHVJ47zhE Thats where the deposit was made
and the rest i cashed out

All this negativity barrabas (or whoever) is not healthy for you internally. I have no clue how you can harbor so much of it. Instead of going after people that deserve it (like Mark Karpeles et al or some of the guys from Mintpal)  you decide to attempt to attack one of the only honest people in crypto. It almost seems like you have some sort of personal axe to grind. If it was about BC, we all lost money... I never sold either. And I'm still coding for BC sorry if you or anyone else doesnt have the patience. Also im one of the only ones who doesnt cower behind a fake name.

As for "never being able to peg" I think you just dont understand how pegging works. It only requires control of basic network rules and scripts.  There was a video where I describe it. It has already been done in 2 coins (NuBits and BitUSD). My method varies slightly from theirs however the theory is still the same. Do yourself a favor and read NuBits whitepaper and watch my video. You might learn something.

As for my own admissions about my personal life, they are few and far between and you seem to like to take beautiful and positive parts of my life and desperately try to turn them into something they are not. I was happy selling real estate during the collapse. Because of it, i met one of my closest friends and had one of the most difficult and rewarding deals any realtor could have. Not everything in my life hinges or career and money. If it did, i would have pursued any one of my career options full time. I was too busy exploring lifes options. You seem like one of those "glass half empty" kind of guys. Not sure if talking down to others makes you feel better about yourself or not but regardless, I'm not going to waste any more time entertaining these subjects. You got more than enough play here.

I've got software to make and hopefully you have your own life to live. Next time, point your finger where it belongs. In the mirror.

Now I'm done here.

Why do you even bother responding to this maggot?
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Loses 70 Petahashes Of Mining? Poss stealth coin launch? on: December 04, 2014, 03:04:33 AM
You might want to look around a bit and you'll see that some farms are dropping off to use their hash power for alternate uses which offer better returns

Yeah, imagine them mining some 2-3 mil marketcap altcoins with 70ph to get better returns Smiley)))))))
