101  Economy / Gambling / Re: Top 50 gambling Instagram & TikTok accounts on: July 02, 2023, 04:53:49 PM
I just had a look at bleacherreport. why is this even in the list if it is about sports?
Most of the influencers don't have a specific type of content that they make or a single genre that they use for their content, they simply create videos or literally everything they can, so for someone who makes videos on sports, it's not a big deal to create videos or promotions for gambling platforms, and who wouldn't do it if they are getting money, right? So it doesn't really matter what one does, they will still promote a platform if asked.

The only thing that matters for the platform choosing an influencer to promote them is how active and engaging of an audience they have, because at the end of the day, the interactions and reactions of the audience is what matters because they are the ones the service is being advertised to.
102  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: July 02, 2023, 05:09:00 AM
It isn't going to be easy for England to collect 257 more runs on the final day with the remaining 6 wickets. The pitch has become very difficult for batting now. Duckett and Stokes partnership is giving a little hope to England, but I think Australia will take the match in their favour in the first session of tomorrow. I hope Australia will take 2-0 lead by winning the second test match.
I think England need to pray for rain because I do not see them scoring enough runs to take the series to 1-1. Even batting out the whole of day 5 looks close to an impossibility.

I just checked the weather forecast @ Lord’s for tomorrow and no rain is expected. Maybe Stokes needs to lead a rain dance?
Even here I have to agree with you but Ben Stokes can do dance for the England instead of rain because he has already done once seven and half years back, and now it's right time for doing once again we have 90 overs left in game with required target is also now 257 Baristow is alone handy back in dressing room still they can turn tables for the sack of English team and this series.

Duckett already have one life-line thanks to Starc so just go and try hopefully we will have good for them and England in last day of this game and fans will be dance with them as winner, or you think I have too much in day-dreaming.
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogefuck blockchain - Yes or No on: July 01, 2023, 04:52:30 PM
Lol, the name itself is a giveaway, another meme coin with no utility whatsoever, so obviously this is going to be taken advantage by some groups to pump and dump it to death and then make big money and get out of it.

For them it's good, but for those who are going to lose money here, it's going to be as close as a scam could be.

So better just stay away from this kind of projects.
Even if they gave it away, I won't ever participate on it lol. I will only waste my time writing my address and filling up the form for this value-less token. It's crazy if there will be groups who will adopt this shitcoin. What will they get from doing it? It seems it's easy for you to say that they can earn big money from this project but your assumptions are wrong. Can't you see that almost 98 percent of the shitcoins are failing?

It's because no one wants them. Only 2 percent have survived because they prepare a big budget. They can hire popular influencers using this money to market their coin and they can also do some trading manipulations. This is where a project can turn heads.

105  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Kids and Bitcoin on: July 01, 2023, 04:30:59 AM
My question is where can I buy Bitcoin comic books that can catch the attention of children between the age of 7 to 11? I want something in comic or story book style and with full story about Bitcoin or related... I want to buy and wrap them up for the surprises.
If you're looking for a Bitcoin comic book that will appeal to kids aged 7 to 11, there are several options you can consider. You can search online bookstores, digital platforms, or online resources that offer content suitable for children. Be sure to read reviews and reviews before purchasing, as well as seek recommendations from the Bitcoin community or online forums that focus on Bitcoin education for kids. By choosing the right books, you can surprise your kids with the concept of Bitcoin in a way that will appeal to them. Hope you manage to find the right Bitcoin comic book to surprise the kids in your family.
Is it really a good idea to get kids aged 7 to 11 involved with Bitcoin or even introduce Bitcoin to them? I don't really think so, I believe kids at this age need to learn other things, the basic things about life and living and everything else that is important for them to know and learn as a kid, they shouldn't start learning about money and finances and stuff like that at such an early age, they will have plenty of time to get into these things later on.

In my opinion, we shouldn't introduce things like Bitcoin and etc., at least until the kids are 13 to 15 years old, when kids reach that age these days, they become quite mature and start thinking critically about things and that can be the perfect age to just briefly introduce Bitcoin to them.
106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ads for online gambling should be banned. on: June 30, 2023, 07:29:03 AM
Try to know this that gambling ads cannot be banned by any means, we have to know that except the gambling platforms decided to put a stop to them there may not be a means to avoid this incidence at all, the two sides involved in this mostly benefited from it which is the promoting casinos and the promoters themselves, some gamblers also make uses of this to their advantage because they get updates and offerers through this except for those not interested in seeing ads in their experience being online, the forum casinos has nothing to do with this either nor do they get affected by this decision since their own advertisement here is not by ads except for other platforms they also appears.
I believe for some reason, they are against online gambling, I've just read that online gambling or casinos are highly regulated in the country and now they are going to ban online gambling ads within the country, even though they allow casinos that operate under a license but since most gambling casinos that are available online, I'm not sure if they allow them or not and they only allow land-based casinos that are operating under a license.

And it's not true that gambling ads cannot be banned, they can ban them all over the internet and won't allow any service, website, or social networking site to display or run gambling ads within their country, we might think they can't do that but in reality, they can do that pretty easily.
107  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Advice when you are going a bit far in gaming and betting on: June 30, 2023, 04:35:05 AM
People often underrate the power of being in perpetual lose, you can set into depression without you even knowing it, I speak out of what I've seen, not what I've heard..

A lot of people ignore their mental health for the bag and it's not wise, take a break when necessary, speak to people about your journey so far, help may come from there, discipline your expenses and, guard the amount you spend on gambling.
Exactly, but people often tend to be hesitant to discuss their losses with others because that makes them feel that those who they discuss it with might not take their matter seriously and might say things that are not very pleasing to them, and we know it happens a lot of times unless the person you are discussing it with is someone who is a close on and who actually cares for you and will only give you advice that is beneficial for you.

As you said, taking a break can also make a lot of difference, even if someone doesn't have anyone to talk to or spend time with, they can simply just stop gambling and do something else for some time that will keep them engaged and they won't keep thinking of the losses constantly.
108  Economy / Economics / Re: How billionaires are really affecting the economy. on: June 30, 2023, 03:03:40 AM
I think most people forget one of the biggest contributions that Billionaires bring to the economy, namely : Job creation

You mentioned that they only contribute 3% to the taxes of a country, but how much is 3% of say 5 Billion Dollars... for only 1 person. How many services can be paid by that contribution and how many government salaries can be paid by that.  Tongue

They also create a lot of jobs in the private sector and those people also pay taxes and that money is also being used to fund projects in the public sector.  Wink
I was thinking about the same thing, those who have a lot of money usually create big companies and businesses and those businesses require employees, so they hire people who deserve to be hired and they also hire those who are poor to do the labor work and stuff, so rich people actually contribute a lot to the economy not only by paying taxes but also by producing more money with their money and more money will obviously mean more taxes.

So I don't believe in theories that prove that the rich have a negative impact on an economy because that is not true. There's one more thing, rich people create things like hotels, restaurants, wonderlands, etc. And these places make a city or a country more attractive to tourists which is another source for the government to get more revenue.
109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Confident Are You In The Reliability of the KYC system on: June 29, 2023, 05:44:15 PM
is part of what we agreed when we sign up to play in casinos but lately I've been reading a lot of complaints
about casinos on how they accept their players' KYC, is it possible that they can decline a person's credentials even though he swore that he submit all the right documents and even undergo a video call to establish his identity?

Take note, Casinos will ask or demand a KYC if there's a big winning involved, is this one of their ways to scam their players?
There are some casinos who plan to scam gamblers when they get big wins. They look for various types of faults of gamblers early and when they find those faults, they can easily block the withdrawal. Complaints of account blocking of some users have also been heard. These situations are faced only when the gambler gets a big win. And the gambler cannot get any information in advance about such a situation. So before gambling you must choose the right platform for avoiding such situations.
Generally, all the new platforms come with the potential threat of doing this at some point if you manage to get success after joining their platform, and if they actually do it, don't allow you to withdraw when you have hit big, there is nothing you can do at all because they are online, they are new, and you are hopeless because you don't have anywhere to go and complain about what has happened to you and get justice for that.

That is the reason why it is better to simply avoid using new casino platforms, and even if you want to try one or a couple out, you should only do it with a very small amount so that when they turn evil and try and scam you for what you've won, you don't lose a lot of money.
110  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is improving I guess? on: June 29, 2023, 09:55:46 AM
The increase that occurred at the end of June like today certainly makes us optimistic, FUDs and negative issues that are happening at this time are Binance which is experiencing a financial crisis, but all of these issues are refuted because many consumers withdraw and do not experience problems like what happened with FTX, of course this makes the market can continue to rise.
What customers are you talking about? I've not heard of any customers withdrawing their assets from Binance only to be safe because of what is happening with Binance, and whatever is going on with SEC and Binance, it's all about Binance US and not the global version, so even though I also believe that one shouldn't keep their extra assets at an exchange or any platform, I don't think there will be any issues with users' funds even if things get out of hand.

The increase or decrease in Bitcoin's price isn't directly caused by this issue because it's older than when the market pumped recently, so whether users are withdrawing their assets or not, will not affect the price of Bitcoin or the overall market in general, we sure are optimistic but we should see the facts too.
111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: June 29, 2023, 08:55:52 AM
It seems PSG is also losing Verratti and their Italian player is the next target for Al Hilal while he is still under contract with PSG and has three years left before his contract to get expired but Verratti is going to play for the Saudi team if they pay enough money to PSG. Al Hilal sent some of the agents to Paris to have negotiate with PSG. While I think Verratti is happy to leave PSG and play in the Arabian teams to earn more.
Marco Verratti is one of the best midfielders in PSG with very long association which helps them for having good achievements even he still can spend three more years due to his contract, but huge offers can create problems for the PSG with he is already in negotiations and wants to go Saudi Arab for few years which can bring good salary and other bonuses for him Al-Hilal which was looking for the Messi and then Neymar now having third target in PSG and now their agents are in talk hopefully he will also leave this club and have his new journey in next season with things can be more troubling because they need to have some good replacements after losing their first choice many players specially now having trouble time with their main player as well.
112  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: June 29, 2023, 06:02:44 AM
I'm still not convinced with the players Arsenal has bought so far, Timber is good but I don't trust Kai Havertz that much. I Hope Arteta can work a little bit of magic on him because he was good at Leverkusen but since he moved to Chelsea he has not been that good. I don't know how Arteta wants to deploy him next season but I hope it works.
Arsenal should have looked for a natural center forward instead.
Aside from the defensive midfielder position that they might have covered with Declan Rice. they still need a central midfield. They missed out on Gundungan who would have been a perfect player for them so they need another player like Gundugan before the transfer window closes.
After troubling end of last year now Arsenal and Arteta doing good things and fixing their problems even still we are waiting for the Declain Rice but for this is also good transfer as he was not good in Chelsea but still just 24 years old and bright future ahead of him most chances he will be in good performance after poor time in Chelsea.

Gundugan is surely big miss for the Arsenal, but he already had mind-set for going into Barcelona so no one can do anything about this but now as they are trying to fix their problems now most chances we will have good start of the season with good for the title again these suitable replacements will surely give them good advantage in absence of their top players which were not helpful in last season, and they faced trouble.
113  Economy / Gambling / Re: How does AI gambling sound? on: June 28, 2023, 12:22:23 PM
I think that gambling services will have to come up with some solutions to weed out those players who use AI in bad faith. Because the situation may develop as well as with giveaways and multi-account farms.
When the meaning of the giveaways is already lost and the participants compete in the capacity of farms and attempts to cheat the system. It's good that they have been restricted now.
Now we need to develop mechanisms that limit AI in gambling, otherwise there will be trouble.
It seems that the gambling party is smarter than the customer and I am very sure without us knowing that the gambling party has prepared a system that can prevent gamblers from using AI to beat gambling.
But I don't know if AI has been developed, does AI still have the chance to be smarter than the system that the casino has.
What is more certain is that casinos or gambling always have power over what they have and can always do anything that can prevent losses in gambling.
They would obviously not just sit and watch their businesses go down like that only because gamblers are using a technology to beat them, if gamblers can get their hands on a system that can increase their chances of winning in gambling, then gambling business can obviously find a way to counter that with the same technology and they will obviously hire the best developers to get that done and we all know it's possible.

Casinos are businesses that run only because gamblers lose more than they win, and they in no way will let that get changed and let gamblers win more than they lose, there will be multiple preventive practices going on in the background if something like that actually happens in the future.
114  Economy / Economics / Re: Should I Use Emergency funds or Sell my Assets ? on: June 28, 2023, 08:38:05 AM
I reluctantly followed the counsel of a financial advisor to fix my finances in order by creating a budget and tracking my expenses, inflow and outflow of cash using an excel sheet. The economy has been crazy in my country so I needed to do something urgently. My greatest realization after this is that inflation all round is destroying my budget. It's been  five months now. I am torn between using my emergency funds or selling some of my assets to cushion the effect of this economic situation. What do you suggest I do?
Inflation and economic issues are the same all around the globe, people who are not very rich are compelled to spend the money they have saved for bad times such as a medical emergency or something more severe like a funeral, etc. In such situations, you seem to have no choice but to use the money and then spend years and years to save that much again, it becomes very difficult to take decisions in such times just like what you are facing.

If I was to suggest something to you, I would say that you should first see if you don't have assets at a loss in case you had to sell them, if they are not at a loss, you can go ahead and sell them and use the money, or, you can alternatively use the emergency cash that you have and use the assets when an emergency comes so that your assets stay intact in case the market goes up, they might gain more value.
115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Nigerian Father Rejects Son's Gambling Win on: June 28, 2023, 06:26:42 AM
Here we can see that there are different perspective people hold about gambling. We can also tell that a strict up bringing doesn't mean that the kids won't go up to their own vices. There are strong environmental and other cultural factors that affect the behavioral lifestlye and pattern of children.

My piece on this matter is that the boy won a lot of money and should not worry much about what his father's say. If the boy is wise he should prolly invest some of the money in his father's name. It could act as part of his father retirement fund that is if the father has one at all. I know the father won't reject it when the real need for the money arises to sort something out. Money is very power.
Whether his father will later accept the money earned through investments that were done using the gambling money or not will depend on why he rejected the money in the first place. If it was only for moral reasons and to teach his son that he shouldn't gamble and use the money from gambling as that will make him addicted to it, he might accept it later. But, if it had something to do with his religious beliefs, I don't think he would accept even the money earned through that sum.

People who have strong faiths and beliefs in their religion and take religious practices very seriously are very hard to be convinced to do something that their soul doesn't accept, they will outright reject things that doesn't match with their beliefs and is against their beliefs.
116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how to get over it on: June 28, 2023, 05:11:23 AM
Gambling needs patient,so that you don't rush into wrong decisions and conclusion. What I see about impatient gamblers is that they are in a rush to win. This occurs when you use borrowed money or money made for some important purpose to gamble, you will lack patient because your mind is not at rest. Emotion can also play a major role to impatient when gambling. When gambling one should have rest of mind and only take gambling as fun and not for profit sake so that you will have a healthy gambling life. Don't gamble if you don't have funds to do so that you don't end up chasing your loss impatiently.
Apart from acting hastily, they had also greatly exaggerated their hopes of victory. The factor of patience and self-control also plays an important role in every defeat. Those who don't have a strong mentality and are easily emotional will definitely be tempted to do it again with the aim of winning which they may not necessarily be able to get. Gambling is very disturbing psychologically, especially when using borrowed money or for other important needs. In fact, placing too high hopes on gambling is something that is very wrong. It's too easy for them to assume that they will win, so their vision changes where they think that they will be able to get a lot of money just by gambling, without them realizing that this is just a matter of luck which will not always come to them.
The easiest way to ruin yourself and your life is to borrow money from somewhere and gamble with it, because the chances of you making something out of that will be about 1% and the chances of you losing everything in gambling will be about 99%, now the choice is yours about what you should do, borrow money to gamble or simply find another way to earn a living for yourself and your family and have a dedicated budget from your earnings for your gambling activities.

A lot of people make the mistake of borrowing money for gambling, they don't realize that they are going to get trapped once they get into this thing, they will keep borrowing money to repay the loans and gamble what's left and lose that too, it keeps getting deeper and deeper.
117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamble Responsibly on: June 27, 2023, 04:31:45 PM
To be sincere with you, I don't think being under the influence of such substance as alcohol has the power to make a man lose his guard and deviate from a gambling rule or discipline such a person has mastered, even drugs can't do it because the chances that a person doing drugs while gambling is already a gambling addict is very high, so the drugs for them act as something that helps them not to emotionally feel the negative impact of their gambling, the drugs act as a means for them to be happy even wit the loss being accrued through their gambling activity.
That's not entirely true, a person taking drugs or drinking alcohol might be doing it so that they don't feel any emotions during gambling but if you don't know, let me tell you that a person on drunks or alcohol doesn't stay in all their senses, and when one isn't in all their senses, how can they take sensible or good decisions? Especially if they are gambling, they would only realize later that they have lost all their money in gambling when they were drunk or on drugs, etc.

So it is basically not a good idea to take drugs or drink alcohol or maybe take pills to release stress before gambling because after doing any of that, you won't be able to make the right decisions at the right time and that can cause you bigger losses than you might normally have to face.
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Before investing on meme coin or shitcoins consider this. on: June 27, 2023, 03:11:31 PM
This is all good advise but 99% of the people who buy these coins will ever listen to rational thought.  Greed fuels the meme market.  There is literally zero purpose to buy these coins except in the hopes someone or some group will pump it so you can dump it, greed.  It's unfortunate that crypto got infected with these things but here we are.
We are actually the ones who let these stuff infect the cryptocurrency market by fueling them with our investments only because, as you said, we are greedy and we are always looking for opportunities to earn a lot of money in a very short period of time so that we can have better lives and get rid of all the issues and problems that we have in our lives but we forget that it is not that easy and achievable.

Most people follow other people when they are investing in such tokens because they think that if someone got success with such as investment, they might do as well but they ignore the fact that thousands of people invest in them and only a few get any profits out of these investments.
119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: increased Youtube Gambling ads? on: June 27, 2023, 09:34:51 AM
Using incognito is an effective way to get rid of frequent ads. Clearing the browsing history is also a good move. However, it is undeniable that gambling ads exist on different social media platforms nowadays. Even if you're just watching a video clip, gambling ads will pop up. This is their marketing strategy and their main target is the active social media users.

It's hard to avoid gambling ads but the best that we can do is just to ignore them or as much as possible, do not feel interested in them because most scammers are now using gambling advertisements to deceive people so we must also be skeptical. They will exist everywhere on the internet but we have to deal with it as it is part of the marketing innovation but we shouldn't get hooked to their promotions.
He can also use opera mini or brave browser these browser has a anti malicious ads that can be filtered so easily. if he is using chrome he can install extension that can block those ads, I never encountered frequent ads here in safari maybe it only happens in chrome I am not sure though. But again if he don't want pop up ads play in opera mini or brave .
I'm not sure if you guys are ignoring it or just not noticing it but what is being discussed here is about gambling ads on YouTube, and if you don't know, let me tell you that you cannot block ads that are played in a YouTube video with an ad blocker nor you can avoid them by using a browser that blocks ads. There is literally no way for you to remove ads from YouTube videos unless you buy Premium because that is how their business model works.

It's not possible not to get ads on YouTube if you want to use the free version, but if someone doesn't want to see gambling ads, they should simply create and use a new Gmail account which they shouldn't use for searching for anything related to gambling.
120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gender in Gambling [differences between Women and Men in Gambling] on: June 27, 2023, 06:42:50 AM
The casino was not created just for men, it is for all those who decide that they want to gamble, that's how simple it is to understand. Like, it doesn't matter if you're a woman or a man, old or young. As long as anyone thinks of gambling anyone can do it whether it is online or physical gambling. Now, in the reality of what is happening, it is obvious that most of these are all male players, only a few women play and with that little, it probably becomes more of a challenge to other male gamblers in my opinion.
You are right that casinos or gambling was not created to be only for men or for a specific gender but it has actually become a thing that is used usually by men almost in every corner of the world, there might be women in modern countries that gamble but the quantity will always be low and there can be several reasons for that, but, this thread is actually discussing the differences between men and women in gambling.

Now what can we consider a difference? The choice of games, initial bets, gambling bankroll, or even specific cryptocurrencies in some cases. Women if they gamble would usually play games that don't need a lot of thinking or skills or something, that is the reason why slots are probably their favorites.
