It is possible if he just accumulated it over time; he didn't say how long, but if he said that it was just for a day or even a week, then that is not possible unless you are a heavy sports bettor and any kind of game you are betting on is all in. For sure, the OP learned a lesson from losing all of his profit or winnings, but the problem is that if he continues to bet big, he will commit the same mistake again. Besides about luck, another thing that brings him to lose the entire funds he has also with his winning result because he always uses the all-in way, it’s not a good way at all, maybe he could survive in one or two attempts but in all-in, the way only takes one defeat to destroy all the results already obtained before. Poor money management was responsible for your loses why not keep or save 50% of yours winning and started all over again instead of compounding your win which is a very risk and back to square one, compounding work well in trading not in gambling, I understand your dream was to hit $1,000,000 which can be swiftly achieved by compounding, the best bet is when you win and hit a certain target save though it's going to take a longer period of time to reach or hit your overall target, however that money management is less risky than compounding, gambling is very risky and being addicted is also very dangerous.

From what you have written, I can see that all you are trying to pass is the ability of you betting and making consistent profits but greed has eaten you up to the extend that you always end up losing the profits. You need to have self control or else you will keep losing. There are people that if they eventually make the kind of money you had in gambling, they will be rich by now. You need to work on yourself so that you will not be this greedy to the extend of losing this amount of funds that many gambler's had been longing to make and leave gambling entirely.

It's normal because when we can win a large amount of money, we are triggered to repeat it and try to get another big win. But we forget that big wins often don't come twice but only once, so when we try to continue, we end up getting a lot of losses, even exceeding the amount of big money we got before. Besides that, the greed to win again will come and make us keep playing because we feel we can win it again. The casino owner is of course happy if the winning gambler continues playing because that's when the casino can turn things around and take the winning money from the gambler.

Well, as a fellow gambler, I can say I've been in your situation many times(not the amount). There's a lot of advice I can say but even I can not follow it. Since we are both gamblers, I assume we have the same nature, then the advice is kinda useless. That's why I keep on chasing until I reach the amount I wanted and then quit. Other gamblers won't stop until they are not satisfied. Some even have endless satisfaction, it continues to grow/expand.
