I don't know why, but I keep reading comments about Stratis but haven't done a serious research about it. I guess its large market cap just drove me away, but I can't ignore it anymore. I'll research it later today or tomorrow. In the meantime, could you please tell me why this coin seems to have a great future? I don't know much about its fundamentals and roadmap. So I bought this thing a few days ago, along with Oyster, SpectreCoin, Xtrabytes.
Of those 4 coins (SHIFT, Oyster Pearls, SpectreCoin, Xtrabytes), the only one which has failed to yield any gains so far was SHIFT.
Yet I thought the project was so good, and much better than Substratum? It doesn't make sense why the price is so low.
Someone (or a group of people who pool funds) should pay John McAfee or someone to talk about this coin. it NEEDS to get marketed ASAP.
We don't care if the exposure is all hype - once they find out what it is, the price should rise quickly.
Why is the team not marketing this stuff? HURRY UP before Bitcoin kills the alts.
Yeah and also Bittrex doesn't accept new signups so it's hard for new users to buy Shift right now... we definitely need another exchange and marketing before the price can really fly. I have a feeling some new exchange might be coming soon. Had the same feeling for my other holdings like Lunyr (which was stuck in $5-15 range), and then suddenly Binance added it. No new users? That's so shit. What's the point of having this exchange then? How stupid is that? Can we PLEASE at least have Cryptopia accept SHIFT? Who knows how to make that happen? I will be looking into it personally if I have to. People will go to Cryptopia for good coins, and it is an underrated and over-bashed exchange. Just see Oyster Pearls as a perfect example of the fact that Cryptopia can be used very well for exchange volumes. And ETN too. the other option would be livecoin. lets just hope that they add a few exchanges before january but patience is a option too  I was just going to say that. I didn't want to miss the train of this coin, which is one of the best projects out there. I registered on Livecoin just for buying SHIFT, and it's an exchange site like every other, same format, and the deposit went through without issues. Haven't withdraw yet, though. If Shift gets listed on Cryptopia or Kucoin (my favorite exchange sites), I'll be happy. |

That's what I really don't understand. Everyone talks about its great features, and it really is one of the best projects I've found, but the market cap and value hasn't moved. The only reason I can come up with is marketing and poor website, which is what it's supposed to change tomorrow. Therefore my question, do you think that the new website and wallet is the trigger for XSPEC to rise to the place it deserves? If so, the time to buy is now. It was 32 cents a month ago, how is it even possible to claim that it hasn't moved? It's been flat or down for like 4 or 5 days, ridiculous. I meant in the last week, I can see the chart and I know its value has rised a lot. What I was saying is that here many people are talking about xspec and I haven't read a bad comment about the project, and I researched it and believe it has the potential to sky rocket and maybe reach top 10, so I was wondering why it's not happening now, for learning purposes. I think it's a smart thing to try to understand how this all works and not trade only based on feelings. I was clear when I said that I think this project is a time bomb, because its market cap is low compared to its potential and support from community, let alone its top notch tech. Regarding PRL, Elixir and XSPEC, if you want to buy them, I would do it now. If there's a dip on any of them, should be short and you might miss it, and there's a high possibility that you die of old age waiting for that dip. I think those coins will only rise from now on. PRL and Elixir are already going up like crazy, and tomorrow Xspec will update its website (very poor right now) and wallet. Don't know if that will make it sky rocket or not, but I don't think that it's going to be any cheaper. Good choices, btw.

All projects with Small Cap are much more likely to rise. If your friend is a good idea and a team, then this possibility is 5 more profit.
I agree with you, when its lower cap then the price is stuck and not much run but we can see if its launched in other top exchanger, it is likely will grow so much rapidly if like other success altcoins. Yeah, and on their twitter they say that they already paid to be listed on Yobit. But the most important thing to me is that I believe this is a serious project, not a pump and dump one, so this could be for the long run, and I invested very early |

Just calculate when hit $10m market cap (which would still be pretty low) and hodl this monkey bastards. The project is serious.
That's what I'm going to do. I almost feel proud that this is the first project I decided to take a risk for, just by doing my own research  . I'm still a noob, but after all I've read, I believe that this could be my best investment so far. I bought USD $800 worth of MONKS when its market cap was around 500,000 (with almost zero info on the speculation forum), and now I'm selling some KCS I have to buy some more (Kucoin withdrawal processing is taking forever, and I want to do this today). Market cap of 1 million is still very very low for a serious project like this. If I had some more funds, I would invest them on this coin, but I don't have them  . It's risky, I know it, but I can afford to lose this money, and the ROI could be huge. I have the feeling that I won't regret this Edit: value is still climbing . I'm prepared for a correction, and I promise myself I won't sell. |

Depends on how much risk you want to take. I agree with ETH, PRL and Elixir. I would buy those. And in case you want to buy PRL and/or Elixir, I would do it now. I think we are not going to see those coins at these values anymore.

It really sounds like an iterestsing project- waiting for a dip right now to buy some PRL A dip might not happen at this point. No a big one anyways. This is mooning like Raiblocks. We got 5 huge growth periods coming up: - New Website Jan 12 - Testnet A End of January - Testnet B End of February - Hopefully new exchange by End of February - MainNet in May All will be huge increases. With this roadmap everything is possible. It will go from push to push. Still not too late to join. Not late at all. That's just the roadmap of Q1, this project is for the long run. I made the mistake of waiting for a dip to buy. Could have been a wise decision with other coins, but I didn't predict this meteoric rise. Lesson learned. |

I just realized its market cap is over 1 million, and yesterday was arround 500,000. Price almost doubled in less than a day. I was just going to sell some MONKs to be able to buy some XSPEC because of the new website tomorrow, but now I'm not so sure. So far it looks like I picked this gem from almost the beginning, could be a good idea to hodl. What would you do?

Difficult to say, but my picks are: - Elixir (already mooned, but can still go to Jupiter based on the support from community, usefulness and tech. Bright 2018 ahead) - PRL (same as Elixir) - XSPEC (best privacy coin if you ask me, low market cap and tomorrow they update their website and wallet, which I think are part of the marketing campaign that it lacks) - KCS (nice and steady growth, and Kucoin is becoming one of the best exchange sites out there) - MONK (be careful with this one. I believe in this project, good dev and tech, support from the community, and extremely low market cap. Could moon anytime, but I wouldn't invest too much. Risky investment, but potential huge ROI) - COSS (steady growth. Don't think it's going to moon, but can give nice profit) - SHIFT (great project and tech, if it gets listed on bigger exchange sites it could easily moon) - XRB (already went to moon and returned, but may enter Binance and that could give it a big push. And its tech is top notch). - DENT (not so low market cap, but nice dev team and tech, and big news for Q1) As always, do your own research, and choose wisely. Good luck |
