What´s recommended driver for sigt ? Because my driver is falling. I use setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 and -I 18. Run on MSI rx 480 8gb. Does anyone have a functional non-falling bat file? Ths.
Dont use setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100, use setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 70, 100% will crash your PC Also test the -I, here in a RX 570 -I 20 is the perfect spot |

yes the algo is almost identical.. when I wrote the hashing module for hashbag (prior to their release of a hashing module) I noticed that it's technically the same thing with different algo names (and another algo added). i've never seen 80 bytes of an algo and 64 bytes of the others before Denarius, and then this week all the sudden comes 'SkunkHash + Raptor' where it is 80 bytes of one algo + 64 bytes of 3 other algos, and i have been wondering what Raptor is as I never added it to any hashing module however the blocks are accepted by the network just using the 4 algos: 80b skein, 64b cubehash fugue gost, no need for anything else thats why i went to look in his own hashing module once he released it but it looks like a pretty close copy of ex_mac's hashing modules.. eg https://github.com/signatumd/hashing-module/blob/master/skunkhashmodule.chttps://github.com/exmac/tribus-hash/blob/master/tribusmodule.conly difference is where it says 'tribus' in the skunkhash it says 'skunkhash' in the skunkhash.c hashing module: https://github.com/signatumd/hashing-module/blob/master/skunkhash.chttps://github.com/exmac/tribus-hash/blob/master/tribus.conly difference is that the hash functions used are different (however the first hash is still 80 bytes) and also the init calls are removed (they dont really do anything other than create the variables but you are supposed to use them for some fussy compilers) and they don't use constants for the hashes (again a thing you are supposed to do for max compiler support) and there is a fourth algo added at the end there, otherwise the functionality is identical to the tribus hashing module and nowhere does it say raptor anywhere, so thats why I wonder what the hell this raptor algo is? searched on the net and didn't find anything about raptor algo Totally different people. DNR is done by Carsen and Signatum is done by Gabriel. Actually, it's totally the same, so that "Gabriel" is plagiarist of Carsens work Best answer: Both are Bitocin plagiarist . Second part, if you know the base source analysis you will see its not the same. DNR has different specs and this one different. DNR has premine and had dumps while this one does not even have any hidden dev fund or premine. look at tribus.c. You will find it 100% like few other on couple of git repos. So if you are an investor of DNR and not in SIGT then that is your choice. You can come up with couple of more criticizing points but the end of the day, it all comes down to fairness and legitimacy . word! With volume like this Poloniex can't afford to ignore it.
It's only 3rd on Cryptopia. Chaincoin had at least 10 times higher volume at some point, is it on Poloniex? Im not sure if any of you guys here remember Frost Coin last year... Also the same POW 100k blocks to then switch to POS. Was a project about sidechains ( aparently because just like SIG there was no whitepaper, roadmap, nothing, just a hint of side chains ), anyway, everyone jumped on board and the hashrate spiked just like SIG in a couple of days and in a week or so the POW has ended, got listed on Novaexchange and if it wasnt for my friend NotSoFast ( thanks mate ) i would be still waiting for something to happen with my coins in my wallet... With this said, im not here to FUD i just wish i could clear my doubts about this project so i could safelly dedicate my rigs... Can someone please clarify me if im completly wrong? Thanks

I guess I should have been more clear: I'm ok with SIGT going full PoS at block 100k, it's a rock solid roadmap and transparent to anyone interested in that stuff. I more mean I'd love to see this algorithm be let loose into the wild and see more coins using it  We're up to 400,000 MH/s for the network, this is getting ridiculous! Uhmm.. sorry but there's nothing Fair and clean about the launch, the difficulty and block time was artificially set to very low values for the first 1000 blocks and the first "normal" miners got in after block 1000... So your artificial instamine brought you about 3.5m coins already...
What you are saying is that 3.5m coins are instamined? I mined before the 1000 blocks, DGW3 put the diff very low for CPU miners until GPU miner manage to solo mine |

Info about the wallet: after you fix the sync problem, ALWAYS start the deamon first and wait until full sync, then start the gui and your coins will be there without needing to restore with the seed

hello, there can be a minor issue with wallet data synchronization at it first initialization.
If you had mining even for an hour, you should have been rewarded (considering actual charnacoin network status).
So your coins are there, your wallet just need to be fully get updated with blockchain. (note: node can be synchronized, but wallet need to be fully updated too).
Therefore you need to restore wallets that occurring the issue (here those you use for mining purpose).
Below are what you have to do:
open your wallet
go to "settings"
then choose "Show seed"
enter your wallet password as will be asking by a prompt
copy and save passphrase (nmenomic) which are given to you
"close wallet" form settings
in the opening window, after have choosing your language, choose the second option "Restore wallet from ..."
in the other opening window, paste or enter previously saved passphrase (nmenomic)
give to your wallet a new name (or keep old name but old associated backup files need to be deleted first)
go to next step and give to a new password (or keep the old one)
then your wallet will be well updated and you must have good behavior now (expected balance, unlocked amount, ...) |
