A permanent service has been started on this coin on a well established company which have millions of clients. They have offered all of them to use verge for their payment to the site. The price will definitely rise again when these people will renew their package on that website. Right now everyone have their packages but as the time passes everyone will need to renew and they will use verge. Right now many day traders are withdrawing their money but when they will see the rise again they will again start to invest in it. I think it would be a great thing, if The VergeTeam and MindGeek would offer something like a promo like if you renew your package paying with verge, you will get a 10% discount. We should not forget, that most of the clients are not skilled how to use cryptos. So they would need a sweetener why they should now start to find out how this works with that „Verge-Thing“. If it would help to increase the number of users paying with verge, verge will rise and in the end, the 10% discount will result in an extra earning, because of the rising verge value. why does everyone say partnership with mindgeek? Funny, we just started telling people on the Discord channel yesterday about litebit - if they're already sold out, that's awesome. The naysayers can talk smack all they want, but XVG just did what others have not. Someone made a comment about selling the news and that's exactly what happened. A ton of people made a ton of money on this and moved their capital elsewhere. Does that mean XVG won't have additional investors? Nope! In fact, I watched a smart investor yesterday bounce the market between 900-950 sats for about an hour. In that time he gobbled up huge amount of XVG from the weakhanded folks who can't see the forest through the trees. TokenPay is a clear example of another great partnering that has far reaching implications for XVG. The majority of those who have negative things to say bought in high and then got scared and sold too late to make a profit OR they never had an interest in the project to begin with and are just internet trolls. Anyone with any real business acumen knows that Verge just took a gigantic leap forward and is poised to go where everyone talks about going but so far hasn't - real world use! BTW, I absolutely was one of the ones who benefitted from the weak-knee quick-buck wannabes who sold their coin at way under-valued prices. I for one am glad I sold my Verge before the announcement. Any coin or project who chooses to associate with porn gets no respect in my mind. Especially if they paid the entire development fund they scammed out of donors (34 Million) to Pornhub, then they got scammed big time!!1  We're glad you pulled out too! 1. This is not a partnership just Verge paying for advertising which only pornhub will benefit from in the end just look at the headlines pornhub gets referenced way more then verge. (Basically Verge is paying for an Ad campaign for pornhub)
(Definition of a partnership: "A type of business organization in which two or more individuals pool money, skills, and other resources, and share profit and loss in accordance with terms of the partnership agreement. ")
2. Pornhub probably has every right to remove Verge as a payment option tommorow if it didn't work out for them.
3. They basically scammed everyone who donated saying that they had a partnership.
4. Not a case of real word usage nobody will use this system it's too expensive $10 sub for $20 if you use Verge if not more.

5. Verge bans discord users that say the coin is a scam.

1) What do you know about anything? 2) Most contracts have a right of rescission. They often come with heavy penalties though. Have you seen the contract? Let's see it if you have it. You don't? Oh, sit down then. 3) Basically, this is a dumb comment. The partnership isn't with PornHub... it's with the company that owns them: MindGeek. Getting facts straight often helps. 4) I got my sub for 116 XVG this morning. As of right now, that's $8.52/USD. Plenty of people have and WILL continue to get subs this way. Again, uninformed comment. 5) Walk into any business and say the business sucks. See what happens. When you post, do you think beforehand how dumb you might sound and decide to post anyway? Might want to rethink that strategy. |

Pretty sure he meant the costs affilated to aquire XVG at this point. As i understand his post he means paying with a CC on an Exchange to get BTC, ETH whatever, than exchanging it into XVG and than transfering it to pornhub. He has a valid point here. Not everybody mines or sits on a bag of XVG. So the average Joe has to get these XVG from somewhere, this is again affilated with costs, not? While I understand people use credit cards to buy BTC/ETH/LTC, I'm sure most people know better than that (or should). He wasn't referring to the cost of purchasing BTC though. It was described in an earlier post that the XVG was valued at a higher cost than what the membership typically goes for which is not the case. I paid 116 XVG for my monthly membership which when it was completed, was $9.99 - There is no upcharge involved is all I'm saying. |

Then on top of all that, they're charging you more than if you'd just paid with your cc. All this so, what, a charge doesn't appear on your statement that only you see anyway?
