101  Economy / Speculation / Re: Has Bitcoin reached its goal? on: July 15, 2018, 05:06:50 AM
I think the speculations are a bit high but who knows. Regarding bitcoin as an alternative to the currency, i think it actually cannot stand yet as an alternative currency. There is so much in bitcoin that needs to change for it to become an alternate currency like stability. It is volatile and this could just be a disadvantage to coin holders who store their money as bitcoin.
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Another Coin Take the Crown? on: July 14, 2018, 03:00:36 PM
It is always possible. If a digital currency is more useful and in demand than bitcoin then it is really a big probability that another coin will dethrone bitcoin. Yet as of now, I don't see another cryptocurrency to really replace bitcoin on the top. I see ether being so close in term of market demands or movements yet it is still being under the influence of bitcoin usage.
103  Economy / Economics / Re: Does money make you rich? on: July 14, 2018, 03:40:19 AM
Your argument doesn't seem to be so clear but I understand your point. In reality money makes someone rich and it is a big yes. How do people count the  value or amount so that you can be considered rich? Certainly it is in terms of money. You cannot be called a millionaire if you don't have millions. Or a billionaire, just the same. Now what you are trying to emphasize is that millions or trillions wouldn't count if you just spoil it all. Say you have millions, in a day or a week you can spend it all and become poor the next day. How? Gambling could be a good answer yet there are so many things as well that could make you lose your money. But with good planning and intentions you will continue to be rich until you get old and die.
104  Economy / Economics / Re: You're not wealthy yet, so you're not allowed to be wealthy on: July 13, 2018, 06:48:28 AM
So far I have not seen any rule or guide to suggest these. But in reality the only ones who would probably say these may not be the rich or neither the poor ones. The can be classified as the "greedy ones". No matter what position in the society you hold, rich or poor if you are greedy then you could be one that rules this way. It's part of the nature of man. But thanks since not all are really greedy there are few good men who really loves to share fortune. Those who help those who are badly in need.
105  Economy / Economics / Re: How will crypto go long term? on: July 13, 2018, 02:27:06 AM
Going long term might be a bit hard to deal with since so many things could happen. Market could go very low and if you badly need your money you might just be selling it at a losing price. Yet I believe that even with all the downfall of market due to regulations and other things affecting the cryptocurrencies negatively there might be instances in the future when cryptocurrencies will become popular again and maybe goes high in value as the usage will go as high as well.
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS or ETH, which one is preferable?? on: July 11, 2018, 07:12:09 AM
I believe ethereum is still a good currency to invest on until to this present. It has not been for a long time and the current market exchange for ethereum is high and is still second to bitcoin. So I think if you would like to just play safe I think ethereum is what you need. But if you really want to create something you can also try EOS. I think it is gaining name as of now. It is just it was not tested by time yet unlike Ethereum.
107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: All in one crypto digital wallet! on: July 10, 2018, 06:22:44 PM
It is good to have a universal wallet for all coins. But I think it would be risky, and opening wallets can exposed your private keys. So in generally I think it is way better to hold coins on many wallet for storage.
108  Economy / Economics / Re: How does bitcoin become a currency? on: July 09, 2018, 04:21:15 PM
Due to bitcoins usefulness it has been made a currency. Without its utility bitcoin will be useless. No matter what history it holds in the past, it would still be the same useless coin had it happened that people didn't value or use it.
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins BETTER than BITCOIN? on: July 08, 2018, 03:54:53 PM
Everything is a possibility. Who knows it will happen? But as of now these things are quite far from being true. I need to see bitcoin losing the lead before I would say this will happen. If bitcoin can no longer influence altcoin sales then maybe that is the time.
110  Economy / Economics / Re: So many cryptocurrencies ! on: July 07, 2018, 03:20:25 PM
I agree that too many ICOs or cryptocurrencies could just just make the risks greater. But I always believe that it is not just about the number. It is about how people really love to get rich such that even when the method or way of gaining is illegal or fraudulent they would do it for their benefit. It is greed that creates this.
111  Economy / Economics / Re: Reason we pay taxes and why we should on: July 07, 2018, 11:24:50 AM
It is very simple to analyze why we should. The people stands for the government, we are itself and way pay taxes to the government and in the same way it is as if we pay ourselves in the process. What we give goes back to us. Paying taxes do not go to another planet or any alien race. If we do not give who else will? Nobody is working for the government. The officials of the governmwnt are just there to facilitate and they didn't own anything, so nothing will give to us not unless we share. Sharing is caring. So why not give?
112  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price manipulation on: July 06, 2018, 02:17:12 PM
It could probably happen as they set the prices and we don't know what actually is going on in the market exchange. As of today heard the same investigation so it might have happened or there might be a probable cause for doing so.
113  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who sells BTC now? on: July 06, 2018, 01:31:32 AM
It is their choice to sell it. They have the right whether newbie or not. But they should keep in mine that they are losing now if they do selling because the market is low. For good reasons maybe selling is good like when money is to be used for immediate personal needs but if not they are just wasting their money because of fear.
114  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is dead many times! on: July 05, 2018, 04:32:25 AM
I think bitcoin is not going to get dead for now yet or maybe never at all. People got panicked by so many things, FUDs, scams, regulations and banning and yet investors and just plain users keep coming because they know bitcoin is a useful invention. You can do money transfer with bitcoin or you can use it as a payment system. Who else would just let it go and die if it is very useful. So I would agree on you. We need to move forward not looking much on how negativity there is. For as long as bitcoin is used by people it will still continue to rise even with some drops in its price.
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is a million dollars possible? on: July 04, 2018, 03:05:41 PM
If one million gets divided by 10,000$  that is probably a hundred times. So granting it is possible it will be around 100 times the current price. So that if we have ethereum at around 500$, it should be priced at 50,000 dollar which might be a bit close to realization if we are to consider even the slightest chance of possibility. But note also that ethereum and other coins is always tied to bitcoin there is this chance that bitcoin will also increase with ethereum. So multiplying the price of bitcoin estimated roughly to be 6000 dollar, we might see a 600,000 dollar bitcoin price. In this analysis now I could see that the slightest chance could be gone. This is quite impossible but still who knows if ethereum could break the bond of influence with bitcoin and continues with a market different from bitcoin and other alts.
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most promising coins of 2018 on: July 04, 2018, 02:11:22 AM
I still believed in ethereum and its marketability. People are still using it to do transactions like in paying for gas for a token transfer under its platform. So for me ethereum would still be prominent this year.
117  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it pre-entry whales stage? on: July 03, 2018, 06:49:14 AM
Maybe this could be true. They can be monitoring prices so that they could enter at low prices yet I guess with the maturity of the investors now who are day trading they might just lose their money. Small investors now a days are not holding much. You can observed it in the graphs. At a very small rise in value they immediately sell their coins. So when there is a sharp rise in value, what follows is a sudden drop also. It is no longer that profitable to follow the hype and hold.
118  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin value on: July 03, 2018, 01:44:50 AM
It is not because that Mr. John Oliver said it that way the we think there was a kind of manipulation or something. It still has a basis though the possibility of price manipulation might be possible. Have you not realized the same with the paper money? Isn't it just a paper and we agree that there is such a value on it? This is just the same kind of thing you may not have thought about. But of course unlike virtual currency that is losely based on supply and demand, paper money is based on the governments resources in general that backed it up. Virtual currency is more of a commodity in comparison that rises up or down with supply and usability.
119  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Real life usage of bitcoin on: July 02, 2018, 03:47:13 AM
Do not get too negative about bitcoins acceptability. Who will accept if transactions will take long? Will many! I am sure of it. Because there are also transactions that could take even a lot of time longer than bitcoin will be. I myself don't want to line up just to send money and fill up some forms, use my IDs for verirication or whatsoever. This is not so good for me. I'd prefer to make transactions using bitcoin no matter if it is taking long enough as you said.
120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Positive News about Bitcoin on: July 02, 2018, 12:59:03 AM
The post meant to be very much positive. It was last week of march 2018. It was when bitcoin was down and had started a bearish market. A week or so last april 2 I saw bitcpin rising back in value, perhaps it was due to this reports. But it did not luve tjat long because people are getting FUD over cryptocurrencies and not just bitcoins and the bearish market once again had pulled the prices back until now. This could only mean one thing, there was little response from people or investors. They need to have more positive news about bitcoin usage. Utility would make it stable.
